courses are developed to comply with the 2012 NASBA/AICPA CPE Standards; therefore will be accepted as CPE by the New Hampshire State Board.
Required Continuing Professional Education Hours
CPAs must complete 120 CE hours every 3 years, including
20 hours annually and
4 (of the 120) hours must be in ethics.
Licenses expire June 30th

CPE Reporting Period
The 20 hour minimum must be completed between July 1 – June 30th

100% can be from self-study courses
Students should read the course material and answer practice questions prior to taking the final exam.
Final Exam Requirements
70 percent or greater
If not passed on the first try, you are allowed an unlimited number of retakes.
The final exam does not require a proctor.
Self-study final exams are open-book.
You may refer to the course material as often as needed to complete the final exam.
CPE Carryover Allowance
of CPE in excess of the required
may be carried over to the next succeeding triennial period only.
Carryover will not count toward yearly minimum or ethics requirement.
Course Repetition Rules
A course may not be taken for credit more than once within a 3 year license term.
Certificate of Completion
APlusCPE provides online, printable certificates of completion.
Certificates of completion will be available to print online immediately after the final exam is passed.
You should maintain written evidence of completion for a period of 4 years from the date of renewal.
CPE Completion Reporting
Each licensee shall have until June 30 to submit a completed renewal application, including payment of all fees due, for the ensuing 3-year certification or registration period.
A licensee may petition the board to waive the specific requirements of this section based upon individual hardship due to:
Military service; or
Any other circumstance beyond the control of the licensee that prevents the licensee from fulfilling the CPE requirement.
As soon as a CPA realizes they will not meet the 20 hour/year CPE requirement in a non-renewal year, the licensee shall petition the board for permission to satisfy the deficiency within 6 months of the filing of the petition, except that all CPE shall be earned no later than June 30 in a renewal year.
