CPAs must complete 120 CE hours every 3 years, including 20 hours annually and 4 (of the 120) hours must be in ethics.

To renew your personal license, complete the "return to active practice" form on the NH Board of Accountancy website. Submit proof of CPE/payment/application to the board. Applications are not accepted by email, or fax.
The 20 hour minimum must be completed between July 1 – June 30th annually.
Licenses expire June 30th triennially based on the first letter of your last name . (A-F: 2014, G-M: 2015,N-Z: 2016)
Self-study final exams are open-book. You may refer to the course material as often as needed to complete the final exam. If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.
Self-Study Final Exam: 70%
Up to 60 hours of CPE in excess of the required 120 hours may be carried over to the next succeeding triennial period only. Carryover will not count toward yearly minimum or ethics requirement.
Courses cannot be taken for credit more than once in a 3-year licensing term.
WebCE does NOT report CPE course completions to the New Hampshire Board of Public Accountancy. CPAs can report their CPE course completions with their registration renewal. Each licensee shall have until June 30 to submit a completed renewal application, including payment of all fees due, for the ensuing 3-year certification or registration period.
WebCE provides online printable certificates of completion. Certificates of completion will be available to print online immediately after the final exam is passed. You should maintain written evidence of completion for a period of 4 years following the completion of each reporting activity.
WebCE courses are NASBA QAS self-study.
