I enjoy web ce lay out,. I wish there was more images / templates to look at. Some of the questions are trick questions, for sure, where more than one answer is correct. This makes it a little hard to pick the correct answer also. It is nice that you can log in, save time, and come back to it as needed and as you have time.

I always entrust my continuing ED to WebCE and I am satisfied with the same each renewal. I would recommend a continuous audio to go through the smaller sections. I like to listen while doing chores or on a walk and continually having to move sections does get a bit tedious.

My learning style is by storytelling. That's one of the reasons I enjoyed the course and did well on the testing.
At the beginning of 'rules 5 - 1' there is a section where it counts up instead of down. I.e. "5, 6 ,7" when the clear intent is "5, 4, 3."

This course specifically teaches some things that are not correct in the industry. The most stated problem is with psych care under liability claims. It is common in the industry to cover these types of psychological treatment.

As this is for MA CE credits, the content was not Massachusetts specific and a lot of the information was actually inaccurate for the state guidelines. This led to confusion on practice tests and likely mistakes in the test environment

Very informative and easy to follow.
I have used webCE for years to recertify my adjuster's license every two years (though under a previous account). Imagine my surprise this time to find that DEI has infected even this material. References to equity and diversity should not apply to adjuster decision-making. The policy is a contract between company and policyholder, and coverage/denial decisions are based on policy language and applied consistently to ALL policyholders regardless of their "culture." Additionally, wikipedia is quoted as source material in one of the slides. That alone invalidates the respectability of the entire presentation, since widipedia is a constantly-revised, user-defined platform. I will not be using webCE for my next renewal if this same Ethics model is present in two years.

Some questions are too lengthy
Questions were written poorly and allowed room for subjective answers. If testing, needs to be more black and white. Many answers were written in the book upon review so that is how I knew it wasn't correct on the test but, the answer could be technically correct in certain circumstances. I do not believe those are fair questions and answers to present.

The very last chapter was half the class. It needs to be divided up, with more practice tests, or, if you won't split the chapter into multiple chapters, provide more than five practice questions. Only 5 questions for a chapter that took me hours to review were too few.

Some of the test questions are not entirely accurate or are misleading. For example, when does a duty to defend an insured end? It does not end when the adjuster DISCOVERS a coverage problem. There are still many steps before a defense could be withdrawn. Also, asking about liability for a DEFENDANT indicates a case is in litigation so the answer would reasonably be that a jury will decide liability, not the adjuster.

Perfect procession, not an overload and not too interactive.
I wish we still had the option to purchase the course in book form as well as doing the online study. They were wonderful and very helpful to use as a reference resource.
The voice was obviously computer generated. Words were misrepresented and out of context. Ex Lots referred to a car lot but was read as Lots a quantitative value.
There were some typos in the course content that could be confusing if I didn't use context clues to figure out what the course was trying to tell me. Sometimes it was a typo in a word, but more often than not it was the wrong name or the wrong word being used in the wrong place. Other than the typos this course was refreshingly straightforward and easy to use. I appreciated being able to review the information I got wrong so I could improve myself moving forward.
This took me more than 3 hours to complete because finding the answers to final exam was tricky as they were worded differently.

The only "Negative" I can mention relating to this particular course is that there was an excessive amount of unnecessary verbiage in the majority of the course content which resulted in it taking MUCH longer to read all of the provided materials than is needed for the relatively "simple" topics covered ! A significant portion of the provided wording could easily be omitted from the course with no adverse affects on the comprehension of the course material or the Final Exam proficiency, in my opinion.
The content covered in this course was too vast. Some of the test questions were confusing or vague and even with the Search option it was difficult to determine the correct answer.

The statement that Michigan requires all drivers to have unlimited PIP is no longer accurate. New rules allow for lower coverages for PIP. This information should be updated.
The only question that I got wrong shows I selected the last answer, when in fact I selected the first answer.

This last course the 15 Rules, the time seemed to be off ... I did not skip any part, read through all the chapters, took all the practices tests got to the end and I had 2.5 hours to go yet to be able to take the test... so I had to redo the whole thing over again.. so may want to look at the time frame on this one. The one thing I really dislike was using Wikipedia as a reference: "As stated in Wikipedia, in psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall self-appraisal of his or her own worth.". This is a cardinal sin in sourcing reference material, especially when referring to a science such as Psychology where there are millions upon millions of credible, and scientific source material. The word 'Pyschology' was also misspelled as it wasn't capitalized.
The only problems I had were that for some reason I had two accounts. But I called the number listed and a very nice young woman got it right for me.

Explaining auto coverages using primarily written verbiage makes comprehensive difficult due to the number of different coverage scenarios. It would be helpful to use charts and sections of applicable policy sections to illustrate the written narrative.

the auto generated course study is awful. A live narrator would be much better and the study would flow. It's difficult to listen to the auto gen voice especially when prompts like III are referred to as "eye eye eye" instead of "section 3" or the like

I'm guessing that Chapter 6 quiz - question 2 was a "trick" question because Values Descriptor: Open minded = Quality Descriptor: Friendly. All other choices were Values Descriptors which made: Respect for others the only option. This hung me up on the question for way longer than it should have. I didn't like the trickery.
The audio narration is a tad too fast in my opinion. If I try to slow it down using the audio options then it's too slow. Like Goldilocks, it needs to be just right. Also the voice inflection when emphasizing key points needs improvement

Some of the answer choices have the same meaning. Either one of the answers could be correct. As a result, an answer could be correct and still cause the person being tested to get an incorrect answer.
Easy due to the great material provided
I was unaware that Trip Interuption coverage (PP 1302) covers mechanical breakdown. I thought that a covered loss IE comp or collision was required.

I took a 10 Credit course that had a 100 Question Exam. The content of the course was very confusing, as was the Exam. The Exam questions were difficult and not really equated to an Exam for a Personal Insurance Rep.

We should not be seeing spelling errors on something as important as this. an example i saw is on the test, you have "clem adjuster" instead of claim adjuster.

Course overall was OK but the time spent on the endorsements was not as useful as the rest of the material. The state-specific variations make many of these endorsements irrelevant for many users.

management knew little about the ces test , it just one day popped up on my Verint & management didnt help much about what to do or where to go to find materials
I loved everything about this course except the question about the negligence on the dog owner. Using the breed "Pitbull" is not just unfair, it is discriminatory. My husband and I have rescued 3 pups and one of them is a pit bull. Dog owners of Pit Bulls will vouch, 1000%, that they are the most beautiful, sensitive, caring dog breeds - yet, in the media they keep getting blown up with negative associations and examples. Using this innocent breed in your examples as a "cause for an accident or incident" is just plain wrong and I recommend you not using a specific breed for your examples in the future. Kindly, thank you.

I feel like Question 19 was not worded correctly and the correct answer was a trick. If insured is not liable for injuries it should be zero liability---but that wasn't a choice.

I found another random number left behind: Ride sharing (a service offered by Uber, Lyft, and others)4 involves I hope that helps you to clean up typos as there are still a few in each of the classes I took this time. Overall great content, and for someone who actually reads all while listening to the audio, the longer courses take me about twice the time stated... a 5 hour class takes me about 10, the 6 hour took me 12. It's a lot of time invested! But thank you for helping me brush up on relevant content. I appreciate the information as I haven't really taken an auto insurance class since 1985! lol.... :)
very clear and concise presentation and easy to follow.
The endorsements were the number as opposed to the title or name of the endorsement in the last section of practice questions. This caused a bit of consternation as I had not memorized the numbers.

I am satisfied with the course
Chose a better AI voice for placing more emotion and emphasis on tone when a sentence ends and a new sentence begins. It was robotic at times and I would lose track of where I was in the paragraph. Example I sneezed 3 times in a row, which forced me to close my eyes and lost rack of the audio matching to the words. A visual aid such as greying out the words read vs words to be read in black could provide a visual aid as the material transpires down the page.
I found it interesting that a course about ethics referred to Wikipedia as a source.

course was decent, straightforward and not convoluted. My only recommendation would be to include more visual examples of coverages or exclusions to help establish the difference in the mind of the student, because many of the coverages and exclusions contain the same words and are difficult to remember.
The course was a bit extensive when comparing the material with the exam. However, the was very informative and enhanced my ability to serve my applicants and insured's.
I spoke with the customer care representative Ronald, and he helped me tremendously with website navigation. He also helped me update my account information and select the correct course.

I appreciated the option to have this course read aloud and I like how the content reinforced that people with good character mesh well with any code of ethics in place and they should be commended for that.

The orator was terrible. I had to turn off the audio and read it myself. There were run on sentences, mispronounced words and infliction of sound was incorrect making it difficult to comprehend.

I thought the answer choice "fake news" was not appropriate for this type of an exam.
I tried to use the Read-to-Me option but found the audio very stilted and dry. There wasn't a lot of inflection and I found my attention drifting so I disabled the audio and read it myself. Otherwise, the course material was very good.
Even though I got a great grade on the exam, this was extremely difficult to go through and the test questions were tricky.

I did notice several typos within the course, ranging from use of "any way" where "anyway" would have been correct, to one section where several sentences were duplicated, resulting in a jumbled, unclear paragraph.
Whoever came up with some of the creative questions deserves a raise. "Before investigating McQueen's claim for lightning damage to his car..." is brilliant and fun. Keep that up!

There appears to be an error in Chapter 2 under the Rule Number 9 section. It states "All documents need to be date stamped." Then it states, "Note the word 'each.'" But the word "each" is not used in reference to date stamping.
curse was good and easy but i would like it for it to be a little bit more short since moms and full time workers don't have that much time to be reading so much information. for final test maybe if is also 20 questions would be better, but overall great curse i would definitely recommend.

I've learned a great deal of the subject matter than I had expected to. I was an agent for 17 years and this was the most I've learned throughout the years about my profession. I'm more well-informed of the do's and don't of insurance. I had only one set back of not being able to log into the system one day, but it was resolved in a timely manner. I should be able to reference subject matter I'm able to in real life
The AI figure reading the course content is horrible. It cannot follow regular reading norms, when to lower the voice, when to pause etc. Go to "The Countdown continues. Here are the next five....." The reading of that is atrocious, to say the least. It makes it really difficult and annoying to follow along. It is valuable to have the audible version along with reading, I grasp it better that way. For God's sake, just have normal people do the reading who know how to pause at Periods, commas etc.

The ease of use as I was caring for my 91 year old mom during the course. Then, her death. I was able to take time off for extended hospital visits, then funeral and tornado damage. A LOT of unexpected interruptions!!
It would make sense if the questions related to Michigan when you are taking a Michigan test. Many of these other state questions are not correct. No one in MI would have $25/$50/$100 limits....

This is the only course I took from you this year that had errors in it. Many places where numbers were inserted as if to hold a place where someone had to insert something. Clarifying words were missing and Jessica referred to as him. Speed of narrator just a little to fast when trying to comprehend the material. For conversation or listening to a book, the speed is fine, but not for learning. When I slowed the speech down 1 notch it was too slow. Would be nice to have more speed choices. Thank you for helping me pass my CE this year !!!!!

The AI gentleman's voice was monotone which was hard to following, got boring listening to same tone.
Had to call to get my account re-set up. Went smoothly, signed in and took the online course.
This is not only a good way of testing knowledge, but it is a great way to teach the information. I am learning a great deal from going through this that I'm also retaining for my job. I think it is because of how it is explained and set up to not just remember it but to learn it.
Too much “nonsense” in your questions.
Please remove gendered pro-nouns during the course. These are of no consequence and do not reflect opportunities of non-binary or non-gender conforming persons. Adding genders in the context of insurance does not change the outcome of the insurance program being described.

I took the course in about 2 hours and then had to wait an hour to take the test. Maybe slow the course timing down or make it last longer with more content. We all get it that the course never matches the state timed requirement, so maybe there is a work around or addition needed.

lots of information that is too much for a ce course. Too much California information and examples instead of New York where course is provided.
Acronyms were tough to get used to meaning PAP and PAB for the first section.

Very dry course and painful to get through. The redeeming factor found within these walls of text and specific policy language / endorsements is when they give examples of how that endorsement or coverage would apply.
We need more tests and courses for workers compensation. Again in NM they gear more to liability. Many of us are WC adjusters and we dont handle PI or Liability property claims

The information contained in this course was informative and was explained with good examples on how this coverages and/or exclusions would apply. However, the amount of credit hours of 24 actually takes 48 hours in real time studying to complete. Just have to be aware to allow for this extra time.

When I, and everyone who has ever purchased a policy of insurance, hear that $300 out of every $1,000 we pay in premium goes to a criminal, we should all want to scream out the window..."

Excellent way to study CE for State Insurance courses.
As I work from home or often only have time to test when I am home, I either had to call in someone to proctor or take my laptop to somewhere to test with a proctor. I did see where the virtual proctor is also an option but found it difficult to get someone to find the same time to spend with me while I tested. Other than this, the text, video and testing was easy to use and understand.
There were a few spelling errors, but otherwise it was good!

Although I have been doing my insurance profession for over 20 years, there were still some questions, I needed to rethink. I love the way the questions on the test can be a little tricky, that keeps the mind sharp.

auto-play would be nice. at least in between each section or quiz. I understand having to be actively involved, but there were so many short audio files it got annoying to have to hit play for every single one.
This course was more applicable then I expected, it was better targeted toward my career field then others I have taken. I felt there was relevant information to not only general ethics but information specifically about the ethics of insurance work.
The auto generated read did not follow proper English etiquette. Instead of stopping at periods. it went straight to the next word or number without interruption. It should be delayed by at least a second before proceeding.

It said I got question #5 on the first chapter wrong but I didnt. There was no red answer highlighted just the green/correct answer which I had gotten right but for some reason it counted it as wrong. Please fix this.

Straight forward information and included multiple perspectives and ideas that were helpful in understanding organizational ethics standards.
The questions were hard to find. You had to put in your own words to find the answers. I had to look up some of the answers to the questions to see if it would be the correct answer. Took me longer to complete because the way the questions were ask.
I am in IT- the interface is SO easily organized; it is easy to read and the eye follows the content- thank you for thinking this through, most people don't!

The course took less than two hours to complete, following the read-to-me audio and reasonable time studying the encapsulated material.

It is easy to get lost when following along with the narration. You should add a cursor that follows where the narration is in the content.
Not sure why I was being asked about a female looking at a males phone and why he had a Lyft app on it. Wasn't insurance related at all.

The Endorsements have similar wording. Maybe head each chapter with a Question, like "What if....." then head the chapter sections with another question. It is hard to distinguish one definition from another bc of the similar wording. Using Company names like Drugg and employee names like Jessica helps the student keep it all straight. This was a hard class because the content is not interesting, albeit important.
I absolutely loved this course, I felt like I was in a therapy session. I was actually able to share the stages of character development with a peer. This course was excellent for personal and professional development. Thank you.

I thought that the material was informative and presented in a format that was easy to understand. I liked the audio because it helped to keep me focused. My only negative comment is that some of the questions lacked details that were important in answering the questions. It was only on 3-4 questions. This course is far superior to other companies that I have taken. I will stick with WebCE.

This chapter was a challenge and a great wealth of knowledge to be refreshed in. So much of it I have not exposed to so this was great.

A few questions contained grammatical errors. This caused me to have to reread the questions several times to make sure I understood them.

Wish WebCE became the official provider for the annual NFIP adjuster course. The current 6 hour seminar, the same format and content for the past 10 years, asks for no student participation nor any feedback to confirm that students actually learn something.
I am the first of this team to try this product. So far this seems to be what is needed for our team to stay compliant.
I actually listened to the audio and read the info but I thought the test was a challenge because the test questions and the material did not match up (at least in my mind) even though I got a 96%.

Its tricky to fine the link on Safeco ignite, for CE is all i have to say that is complicated.
I absolutely love the tool that reads the text out loud. It helped me complete the course much quicker.
Sometimes the questions can lead you down a worm hole as if to try and confuse you, when they should just ask you straight up questions on what you just read.
This course wasn't the best. Too many Endorsement #'s.. would have been great just to explain the coverages and exclusions without all of that...
This was a very informative and great CE course all in all.
At times, it was hard to understand the AI reading the contact. I would have to go back several times to relisten. Also, it seemed more geared to California law than the majority of the United States for the most part, adjusting to current state laws, In one’s mind, made it a little easier. At least the test questions were pretty much straightforward and could easily be answered.

This course is complex to the point where advertising it as 'continuing education' is irrelevant. There's no educational point to it. It's at least 90 % legal jargon with no practical application.

GOOD TO LEARN
I like how easy it is to use your courses. I like how expedient it is to get the results applied to the state for qualifications to meet CE requirements.
The only reason I would not order it again is the next time I renew my license I will be 71 years old. After age 70 CE is no longer required. But if I needed to take the course I would take it with Web CE!

questions were long and too wordy, it makes it so confusing.
After using a computer for the completion of the first couple of chapters. I then Used a mobile device to complete the rest of the course including the final exam. In using my iPhone mobile device, When I logged into Webce.com to continue the course, I found it very difficult to find my course! Frustrating experience to say the least! Consequently, Logging into the course was not an easy experience. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course. Thank you Webce!
I appreciate that many of the exam questions were pulled from the quizzes at the end of each section of the course.
The material was written in such a way as to sound complicated, dry, dull and mind numbing. The speaker's voice was so monotone and boring that it made an already dull subject -insurance- positively unbearable.

The "text-to-speak" left a lot to be desired for the typical adult-learner. The narration was uninteresting, lacked inflection and struggled at times to convey the material as it was written.
Loved the read it to me option. As I get older, I have to wear reading glasses, and this helps a ton!

If you are able to competently pass the exam you should not have to be in each course for a set amount of time. you should be able to pass and get the course credits.
I think bit about why claims adjusters are called "adjusters" is inaccurate. That's just the author's opinion.

I have taken Ethical courses in the past and the ability to re-read through and go back and forth through the teachings. I found myself wanting to read sections even though they were not part of the exam over again. It made me want to build on my personal excellence! I may have arrived a 3 but found self-esteem, knowing now more in detail what I must do in order to project my personal values, of who I am, what my beliefs are grounded on, and how I can demonstrate a higher degree of judgement, and promptness as an insurance professional.

Having examples and questions that were engaging or humorous made the whole course more engaging to listen to and kept my interest where it could have been dry.
A third of these questions contradicts what my company allows or teaches. The material seems geared for specific agents and is hard to follow when it's not how my company operates.

I have used you service for several years now and do not expect this to change.
There is definitely alot of reading and education provided during the curriculum. The fact that we are able to go back into the reading during the exam is extremely helpful and a great idea. I also enjoyed the questions on the test as some of the responses were "funny" and actually made me feel less nervous about taking the exam. Also, the ability to have the system read out lout is extremely helpful as my eyes start hurting/blur after a certain amount of reading. The course was relevant to the topics. However, all the other references were appreciated, but not explored due to time constraints. I see it as additional information. Most people are just trying to do what is necessary to complete hours to be in compliance with state regulators.
Quoting from Wikipedia doesn't seem to be the most reliable source of information, considering that Wikipedia articles are open source and easily edited.
It would be so much better if the "reader" could adhere to punctuation and headings.

There were a couple test questions that could have been a little more clear.
I especially liked how the material was easy to understand and also provided examples of more complicated subject matter for reinforcing of understanding and comprehension.
It would have been more logical for the 15 points to have begun with 1 instead of with 15, counting down to 1. I understand why the author began at 15, but for anyone new or fairly new to claim handling, it would have made more sense to begin at 1.

Although the examples used funny names and it was very entertaining, sometimes it was difficult to keep all the players straight. It would be easier to comprehend if you used plain names like Jimmy, Mary, Bob, Tom, and businesses like "the hardware store" or "the dress shop". I do enjoy the read along text approach. It makes all the information easier to comprehend when you hear and read it.

I did note a lack of grammar in some of the questions.
The content was confusing due to the overuse of jargon and acronyms. The voice was BORING and everything was poorly presented. Yuck!

This course focuses on auto insurance and has 0 value to someone that does homeowner's insurance.
The names used in the examples are distracting while trying to take the sample and final tests. In a lot of the questions, names aren't even necessary and just muddy up the question with alliterative words.

There are several typos in this particular course. There is also a question in the practice questions that is extremely confusing regarding collision coverage and rental endorsement that should be changed.

Overall, this was good, however I found the "Wikipedia" reference to be in poor taste. That is not a credible source and not something that should be cited in an insurance CE class, or any CE class for that matter. Given that literally anyone can go on this website and edit its content, you simply cannot use this as valid source for much of anything. I highly encourage the author of the course to replace that reference with something more educationally sound.

I completed the exam, selected to grade it. It signed me out. Logged back in, went through to grade exam again and deleted 1 answer and graded the exam, so I got that one wrong. That is my only issue.

this is a CE course for Minnesota and about 30% of the content in this course was incorrect for Minnesota insurance. Very frustrating.

There is a typo on the PDF. Page 35, Short-Term Gain segment. First sentence "long-tail" was used in stead of Long Term.
I thought there could have been a little more emphasis as "determining their is a policy in force" as a preliminary step in claims handling. It was noted round about. But the steps incepting a claim investigation could have been a little more steadfast in presentation. You probably cover it better in another course is my guess. All good overall.. I also like the way you teach broadly, but then tend to focus more on what is actually relevant in the real world for testing purposes.

They are currently numbered by the order of the slides, which include the Introduction page and Table of Contents and finding a section proved difficult. Some of the questions in the test were also on in the quizzes which makes perfect sense. However, I would recommend not posting the correct answers in the exact same spot in the test as they are on the quizzes.
This one was too wordy. It over-explained each topic and repeated itself.
I appreciate being able to print course material to read the hard/printed copy when I have a few moments here and there rather than having to read only on the computer.

I've been taking CE courses and exams for over 30 years. This is one of the best experiences I have had so far. I appreciated the layout, ease of use, clarity and organization of the material and feedback on the quizzes, the ability to go back and check content during the quizzes and the ability to skim or skip over some of the material and go right to the next section if I'm confident in my ability to answer correctly - it allowed me to rely on my experience and save a lot of time. This test is entirely too long, there are quizzes after each chapter, which do help to prep you for the test. But, I do not understand why the quizzes aren't enough. There were 50 questions on this test and now there are 50 more that we have to take. I understand that learning these things is necessary but the test are very long.

I thought the readings were very straight forward and informative. When taking the exam, I felt like a lot of the questions were very similar to each other though.
I really like to be able to read along with the audio. I also like that I can speed up or slow down the audio. I did not follow the video ethics course as well.

There are a lot of tricky circumstances and many endorsements
I know we all have different learning styles and I opted out of the video - I prefer to read the content versus watching a video. I intentionally did not select the Ethic courses that I saw were "video" content only.
Tough but good test questions
This is my second time using WebCE and I will continue to do so in the future. The website and courses are easy to maneuver through and the material is very beneficial to the exam.
Simply reading through printed materials a bit dry. Perhaps providing some material/presentation in a different format would make more interesting/engaging.

Same as other sections. The wording in this is sooo out dated. There are a lot of people who have a hard time learning by reading. The fact that insurance information is still presented like it was written in the 17 or 1800's is just crazy. That needs to change so people who have trouble learning this way can do it easier.

the test helped me to retain pertinent information
Questions should be adjusted to specific positions and what they actually work not just what a general adjuster needs. Unless i decide to work in injury i will never use that information. Instead additional information towards my actual claim handling could have been added in or even expanded on in more detail.

alot of the content was very universal and not specific to one insurance provider, which in some times made it very confusing because the quite a bit of the language/forms/endorsements names used here are very uncommon within our company.
WebCE by far provides the best course for CE.
To answer 50 questions all together is kind of tiring Other CE providers have fewer questions I liked the fact that you can save and continue and come back and finish the Test
There is an accessibility issue during each exam where the Read-it-to-me option is not available. This may hinder those with disabilities.

It looks like the funny writer did the questions for this quiz too, shout-out to them. While I don't work in claims, I feel like I can use this information in coaching the customer service reps I assist in explaining the claims process, and why we can't say over the phone if a "what if" loss would be covered.

I have never taken an exam like this one and I LOVED IT. I love how each question gave you a blue link in the presentation on where to find the answer but you had to look through the information to obtain it. I ended up reading this presentation twice in a lot of areas which is really good.

Being a workers' compensation adjuster, I find many CLE courses are not very specific to my job, but are generally helpful.
This course was very efficient.
My only complaint is that some questions seem like they could have some of the same answers. It seems like it's trying to trip people up.

courses were far too long, questions to hard on quiz's. Felt like I was taking by state board exams all over again. CE is not supposed to be this hard. Hours of reading each chapter was way too much

Alot of the content was just the same material repeated in different ways. There was alot of reference to old endorsements which might be relevant to persons in the field for a while, but was otherwise confusing material to remember. Just listing the content of the most up-to-date endorsement would be nice.
Many of the practice questions were incorrect. When I received a wrong answer, I went back through the material and several of the examples given in text were directly mirrored, but with incorrectly marked "correct" answers. Some of the chapters were excessively long and repetitive of one another.
The scenarios were helpful in connecting the material to the work of a claims adjuster. The course would benefit from more engaging material including videos.
Inserted information, such as the codes of ethics provided as examples, should be included in the "read-it-to-me audio"

One of my favorite and most enlightening CE modules. The lesson that we can break bad news in a prompt, empathic manner can often be forgotten in our business, and this course clearly and effectively conveys that lesson.
I enjoyed reading the Ethics course because it was not just focused on what is ethical and what is not. The material broke "ethics" down in to multiple categories providing information about how and why ethic codes are created, what it takes to be an ethical person, working with ethical businesses and organizations.
I thought the content was engaging and on point. I also though it was quite thoughtful.

the course itself was convoluted in the way it was written. More examples would have worked. Also, there were several writing errors in the training. Main point--the test questions after each section should have an explanation for the wrong answers as well as the right ones. The final test was easier than the section tests. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the reading of the materials and when there are parts I did not understand I was able to stop the reading and re-read myself and the examples really helped me understand the course.
The author of this course did a horrible job of explaining "several coverages": meaning the content almost fried my brain to a crisp. I have been in the insurance industry since 1979 and have co-authored the BOMI Risk & Insurance designation book (i.e., I've written on this subject). This course content, in my opinion, was mediocre at best.
Application of deductibles should be covered in the material using input from subject matter experts.

There was too much content and too much toggling between the BAP and PAP. It got really confusing. A better format might have been to fully explain the PAP in one course and fully explain the BAP in a second course.
I was looking for a Claims Evaluation with more focus on Workers' Compensation. More information in description may have helped me in choosing another course.

The ethics portion was interesting. But the course I just took was incredibly difficult to get through. Just a wishlist suggestion. Make this portion of the course more interesting and more simple. (Think the dummies series). It would make it more memorable in our daily tasks and help us to be more effective. I don’t know now much of this I will remember in the long run. Really hate the ROBO-Voice...I understand it keeps the item cheaper than paying for an actor but what a nuisance. Also, no carrier I have ever worked for allows the property adjuster to determine CAUSATION - this can get someone in trouble - we are NOT engineers just like we are not lawyers...except I am one...lol...thanks for asking

The course was a bit wordy, but it was very complete and I thought it did a good job of conveying the ideas of the subject matter to the student.
The material was very difficult to follow. It would have been much easier to grasp the concepts if the wording/explanations were less clinical. The examples were helpful because they allowed me to understand the clinical explanation.

Most of what's covered in these courses is "automated." The specifics, like symbols and endorsements, are easily referenced in real life situations. For the most part, things like that could either be removed from the course and test or included as a reference chart during the course and test. An insurance agent doesn't have to memorize symbols, but they should have a firm grasp of how insurance works in general. Just a thought.
This course materials were very beneficial in learning the ethical behaviors that an insurance adjuster must know in handling customers' claims and assist them in a professional ethical manner. I truly enjoyed this course.
I found the last portion to long to comprehend that many rules in one chapter. i found myself more confused, would have liked it to be shorter sections than one long one.

After years of using WebCE it appears that I am running out of content to select and avoid duplication of courses taken. I would like to see more course options related to adjusting/commercial adjusting.
Typo in Question 11 for the final exam: "Assuming an insured*sic (SHOULD BE INSURER) is legally responsible to pay damages to insured party as the result of an auto accident which of the following injuries most likely has the highest settlement value"

I LOVED the "read it to me audio". That feature helped me stay more focused. I was able to listen to the content and read along for optimal understanding. With that assistance I was able to complete the test with a 93%.

The test is a bit unfair as some of the questions are reworded from the content making it hard to correctly answer some of the questions.

The course had too much information for a 3 credit course. Although the course was well done it took way too much time. Also, the difficulty level was significantly harder than the other courses I have completed.
I think it was great, there is nothing I can think of that I would change... I had a little trouble navigating and understanding which classes I needed for my particular license, I have my all lines but I am a work comp adjuster so I wasn't sure if I had to keep it to only work comp type classes but then I figured any of the claims ones were okay - when I put the filter to work comp the only one that came up was a subrogation class... just fyi :) Thanks though this was very helpful!
there was one diagram in this learning session that tied the words on the left to the words on the right by connecting them with lines. it was very difficult to follow the lines to which one it matched up with.

I did not think there could be that much to understand about "ethics", but found the test reinforced what I thought I already understood it to concern after all.
Vocabulary too formal. Simplify the terms/words, used & provide more examples of scenarios. Provide a summary at conclusion.

wonderful site, I am a new at renewal CE's, I checked other sites that left me confused, but WebCE is by far the best and easiest, I found all the classes to comply with my state requirements, I loved the fact that there are packages of the CE classes I needed.
Some of the questions are just too wordy.
I appreciated the reminder email to complete the courses prior to my license expiration date. And of course the ease and convenience of signing up with Insurance School of Texas.

Items that are mentioned initially but then stated as "not discussed in this course", would be helpful if were discussed in detail to elaborate on topics that are actually being discussed in the course.

I do w/c so am mostly unfamiliar with auto - I took this course just because it fit the hours needed. It was over my head with the way the material was written; it would be great to "dumb down" the writing so it's more easily understood for non-auto people.

If you download the text you should then be able to go directly to the chapter review questions and the final exam w/out having to scroll or click through the entire booklet.
It would be helpful if the screen would stay with the audio so you could pause & read (not just hear) the actual information on things that you want to fully understand but do not (or may not) initially.
I like to convenience and ease of using this program for my Ce hours.

Last year when I took my courses, I noticed a political spin on things, that I didnt appreciate. This year, I didnt notice any politics and I appreciate that.

There was a lot of information in the course that is different from NC. When so much of it is wrong then it makes me wonder if the things I didn't know is wrong too.

It would have been helpful to define "sublimits" to property damage so as to be so informed for the utilization in regarding the structural building as well as personal property. And, for jury trial, the individual case method indicated six (6) lay people, which is permissible for a "petit trial" in a federal court. When considering a jury verdict, would not 6-12 lay people comprise a federal court's trial by jury? Just a thought for clarification, it certainly did not affect the outcome of understanding the issues of making an estimate for the individual case estimate reserve method.
there were some typos in the content and the syntax of some of the content was confusing.
Graphic videos to accompany the audio would make the presentation a lot more appealing / engaging.
Please proof read the course before you publish it.

I liked the ease in ordering, paying, receiving the product and completing the course.
The length of the material was less than the required time for the course. It was nice to have an opportunity to review, but I had a whole hour that I had to go back and do so which I felt was much too long.
Wording of course and questions had too much info. Needs to be clean and to the point without all of the added fluff.
The materials were clear and detailed enough for me to grasp. Great examples provided to help apply concepts.

The content of this course was confusing to me as I do not deal with the BAP much in my job, so I was not as familiar with the coverages & exclusions that were discussed. It was still a very informative course.
I enjoyed the class. I'm currently debating whether to pursue a career as a claims adjuster, so far its been very helpful in making that decision.

Ethics hmmm! the products are written in a way that can be construed as protecting the owner/shareholder. The rules are sent down by governmental agencies which are suspect in their ethical behaviors. Insurance is nothing more than a gamble and those machines are rigged.

The buttons to mark the answers would not always register when pushed. The person who wrote this course phrased the stories and questions in a format that was complicated or difficult to follow for a continued education course. It was as if the writer deliberately tried to confuse the reader.

It is very detailed and has information that every licensed insurance provider should have, but a more engaging experience would make it a little easier to finish. If possible, having a sidebar with the course table of contents would be nice. Showing approximate completion time for each section would help for planning purposes too.
The length of the Chapter 8 material should be divided into 2 or more sections for ease of study and absorption of the material.
Only complaint is that the text was a bit "wordy". Other than that, very good course.

TOO MANY QUESTIONS ARE "EXCEPT". Just ask the questions, don't try to trick the tester. WE are not in High School anymore.

This was a nice alternative way for me to receive my ethics hours when I was unable to attend an in person class with the insurance companies I write for. I also appreciated that the course did refer to insurance throughout instead of a generic ethics class.

It's a good thing it is open book. Questions are tough!!!
The questions were long which made me lose comprehensive of what the question was asking. I had to re-read three times before answering the question.
I did not like the reading option. Many pronunciation mistakes and the lack of intonation made it difficult to listen to. Much better, and faster, when I read the text myself. Self-reading also improved comprehension, as I could go faster or slower on my own pace.

Lots of reading. Narration was way too fast. Multiple choice questions were way too confusing. Not my style of learning.

This course is easy to use and is very planned out.
Its pretty standard content, I liked the idea of the read aloud audio, but it read much to slowly for me, I ended up using my mac capabilities to read the text at a speed that matched my reading speed. It also would have been nice to be able to access the course outline without having to close out the course.
"III" should be read as "Three" not "eye" "eye" "eye" and "IV" is "Four" not "Eye" "V" are some examples. There were some other words miss-pronounced.
The mono tone recording is so boring it is hard to follow. Makes my brain shut down and I stop learning. Also the names given to the businesses was distracting.
The customer service at WebCE is excellent. Even during the covid pandemic, they were always very patient and helpful. WebCE has an wonderful staff.

There was too much information in one course. Also all of it STULTIFYINGLY BORING. I feel like I was guessing at many of the questions, some of them were very tricky. The computer generated voice over was the worst.
If there is a direction in the middle of the page and it says pause the graphic, the program does not give you enough time to get to the top of the page to pause it and when you have to resume play it returns the audio to the top of the page. Otherwise everything else was good

So far I have only take one course but the ease of use and variety of options to study the coursework are very insightful and exemplary.

For the most part I thought the course was excellent. There were a few questions in the practice test that were a bit tricky. I think they were meant to confuse. However, they were not on the final exam. So I was ok in the end.
During the portion about respect, it was said that eye contact was a sign of respect. I am autistic, and I wanted to point out that it is a very neurotypical workdview to say that and it does exclude neurodivergent people who have a hard time with eye contact. It has nothing to do with respect.

If an agent does personal auto, BAP policies should not be included in this course. That is more commercial auto related.

I'm a screenreader user and LOVE how accessible your courses are for the most part! I would only ask that any graphics/charts be described. If they weren't in this course, I didn't lose any meaning in the translation, but that could happen in another course. Overall very pleased with my experience!

Could use a thorough edit. Portions like "Polarity" and "Character Development" seemed very tenuously related to ethics in insurance, while other parts like the "difference" between trust and trustworthiness seemed a bit silly and incorrectly framed.

I found the course very confusing. There are differences between states. The material assumes policies are all the same.
More student interaction throughout the lessons. Don't wait until the end to do a quiz. Check for understanding along the way!

When searching for phrases for the test I got a lot of no results. Trying to figure out the right key words to put in the search was frustrating.
There were several grammatical errors in the test that caused me to have to re-read some of the info to understand it correctly.
I wasn't aware of the drop down to select only insurance adjuster courses and had to consult with a representative. Lat time I ended up with agent/broker courses that were not my field.
Clear, complete, concise, and consistent training materials I can rely on: the 4 C's each and every time I need them.
I most disliked the atonal computerized reading voice.
I feel like I would have a better understanding and scored higher if there were videos explaining scenarios of what we are learning. So having short clips with characters for each chapter and topic would have been more entertaining than reading through the chapter.

I like the auto play audio feature and the ability to review what answers were correct/incorrect. I do not like the computer voice/audio reading the text. It is difficult to follow and understand at times. I would prefer video with the ability to auto play the next slide/chapter without having to click next.

I always wanted that feature so I could learn from my mistakes. I didn't need it on this course though since I got 100%.

What i liked most about this course was its relevance to my personal development as an individual. It was interesting to review the qualities that reflect character and integrity in the context of our current political climate and what constitutes groupthink vs individual responsibility. “The happiness of every country depends upon the character of its people, rather than the form of its government.”
I liked the examples. I wish it were easier to refer back to the course outline as you are studying to see under what header you are under. Also, I think there might be an error in the prorated calculations on the first example of that when an auto is covered by two insurance companies.
I have used WebCE in the past and recommend it

Lots of overlap with the Investigation course Exhibit 4.3 refers to a fractured femur but then talks about 2nd surgery to remove hardware from arm. Femur is in the leg.
