One area of Medicare that remains little understood by the average consumer is the appeals process and the rights of Medicare recipients to ask for reconsideration of a decision by Medicare or their Medicare Advantage or Part D plan. The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive study of the Medicare appeals process so producers and advisors can help guide their clients through that process if it were to become necessary or advisable.

Part D information is not current. Made me question other information as to whether it was accurate.
It would be good to update the Medicare info to current year. Especially the Prescription Drug out of pocket amounts because they changed a lot starting with 2025.
Most of the amounts related to Medicare premiums, coverage amounts, and particularly Part D were out of date....using 2024 levels rather than current 2025 levels.

Excellent content that is not part of the ordinary knowledge of a CFP(R), but something we all should be familiar.
A few of the questions I had to infer, and I do not remember reading in the guided reading modules.
This last course was a lot of stuff, but it reinforced some things, which was good, but it also taught me some things I did not know. SO that was appreciated. Thank you.

WebCE is so easy to use. I would love if you had more variety in topics. After using it for years, many of the courses are similar to years past. I really like using WebCE for my credits.

This was a great course. A lot of it was information that I already knew but I did learn a few things. I enjoy broadening my education so that I can better assist my clients.
The financial amounts from 2022 or 2023 are out of date in this course. It needs to be updated to 2024 and 2025 now.
I've never seen a course that goes beyond the basics of Medicare, this should be a prerequisite added for all agents! Great course!

I am glad my company came back to WebCE. I find these courses informational. To improve...proof read, errors can change meaning. Review the audio, inflection , pauses/non-pauses and pronunciation can change meaning.

A very good review of the Medicare appeals process.
Correct me if I am wrong but when you are mentionning a Part A deductible you are listing a part A deductible for each benefit period. I do not beleive this deductible applies to SNF. It is not very clear for someone who is not very familliar with the material. I beleive there ia a question after Chatper 1 about it as well.
The course content was easy to understand. I also liked that the audio was optional; when a course takes 3-4 hours to complete, your eyes can get tired looking at a computer screen for that long.

I was very pleased with this course. I wanted to learn more about the Appeals process and additional information in IRMAA and I was able to accomplish this by taking the course.
