WebCE, a leading provider of online professional education and training solutions, and two of its outstanding employees, Loni Eichner (SILA-A) and Julie Mendel (CDEI, SILA-A), were recently nominated for several prestigious awards from SILA, the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association.
Loni Eichner (SILA-A), WebCE’s Director of Course Compliance, has been nominated for SILA’s 2023 Bruce Saenger Education Award, which recognizes professionals who have “demonstrated a passion for insurance- and/or securities-related education improvement and development.”
“Our industry is filled with exceptional talent, and I’m happy to be among them and to be recognized by SILA,” Eichner said. “SILA is an amazing resource that I’m proud to be a part of!”
Eicher also serves as co-chair of the Texas SILA Chapter, an organization nominated for this year's SILA Organization Appreciation of the Year Award, reserved for organizations demonstrating “dedication and continuous support and service to SILA.”
Julie Mendel (CDEI, SILA-A), a Senior Product Manager with WebCE, also received a nomination for SILA’s 2023 Bruce Saenger Education Award. Mendel was nominated for a second award, the Robert Kennedy Appreciation Award, which recognizes continuous volunteer service to SILA and the advancement of SILA’s objectives and principles.
“I am honored to be recognized as a leader in the securities and insurance industries and find it gratifying to see attention put on the importance of education and making connections through information sharing and volunteer opportunities,” Mendel said.
Each year, the SILA Awards program honors individuals and organizations who demonstrate excellence and dedication in the compliance industry. These awards and nominations hold a special meaning since they are based on nominations from SILA members.
In addition to the nominations of these WebCE employees, WebCE has been nominated for the 2023 SILA Organization Appreciation of the Year Award, which aims to recognize organizations that demonstrate leadership and a sustained dedication to the licensing and securities industries.

Award winners will be announced Tuesday, October 24, 2023, during the SILA Awards and Designation Recognition session, part of the SILA Education Conference in Hollywood, Florida.
