General Insurance Licensing Requirement

To qualify for a resident Hawaii insurance producer license, the applicant must satisfy the following requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Maintain principal place of residence or business in Hawaii
  • Pass the license examination
  • Submit fingerprints
  • File a license application and remit filing fees
