A vital part of the funeral director's job is to be able to translate the wishes of the next-of-kin into a suitable pre-need plan and/or a fitting tribute, whatever that may be. To accomplish this—and to work ethically with the individuals and families you serve who are more than 55 years of age—it is necessary to understand "the why and how" of their thought patterns.
The goal of this course is to provide insights into the older generation's thought processes as well as how he or she transitions from one phase in life to another. By understanding how change impacts a senior, one can begin to understand how to ethically communicate with seniors, whatever their phase of life might be. Information presented in this course will also be helpful in personal relationships with older peers or family members.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
My only disappointment was that I could not use the audio portion without having an "echo" effect
Good content and the ease of completing the CE from my office.
Use you every time I need my ceu’s and would not think of using any other company!!!
This course was informative and i like the audio on off and pause as it gave me time to stop and read quietly for myself to grasp information and review interactive components of the lessons.
Keep up the Good Work !!!
keep up good job
I believe this is my 3rd or 4th term with you. I find it easy and your prices reasonable. Will return in the future. Thanks jt
A very good review of things most open-minded funeral directors incorporate into their approach to seniors. The course clarifies what we do and why we do it when engaging with senior customers.
Thank you for making this easy when you know we already have so much on our plates.
This course should be a continuing education requirement for all funeral directors, and it should be an ABFSE requirement for funeral service students as well!
Excellent course
no comment
Since I am already a senior and am in the process of transitioning through semi-retirement to full retirement, the information was helpful both as a funeral director and as someone in the process of transitioning myself.
Well-organized, -presented, and -examined!
really liked the content
Highly beneficial!
great course
Your courses should be required for all funeral service professionals, not those just seeking CE's. Easy for directors to get in a rut.
This was an excellent training. Very grateful for not just refreshing me but providing me with more educational tools to use daily.
No comments to make at this time - Thank you
