Massachusetts 4-Hour Long-Term Care Review

Massachusetts’ life and health insurance producers must be able to counsel and advise consumers about appropriate products and options that address the potential need for long-term care. This course provides a thorough review of long-term care, long-term care insurance, long-term care partnership programs, and long-term care suitability issues. The course also includes an overview of Massachusetts’ Medicaid program—MassHealth—and how a qualifying long-term care insurance policy can exempt the insured from certain MassHealth eligibility and estate recovery rules.

This course is specifically designed to meet the ongoing 4-hour continuing education requirement for licensed Massachusetts producers who have completed an initial long-term care training program. It has been approved for this purpose.
