It explains the concept and design of UL insurance and discusses the flexibility of the product’s premiums and the adjustability of its death benefit. The course compares and contrasts the two UL death benefits, Option A and Option B, and explains the policy’s expenses and mortality charges as well as guaranteed, current, and assumed interest rates. Students will learn how to calculate universal life coverage, net amount at risk, cash values, and mortality charges. This course also explains variable universal life and indexed universal life and the method for determining cash values for both. Students will also learn about universal life transactions, premiums, surrenders, loans and withdrawals, and taxation.
