Overview

A real estate broker is an individual who has passed a real estate broker's exam to be licensed as a real estate broker. Licensed brokers represent sellers and buyers in real estate transactions and can legally collect a commission. They bring buyers and sellers of individual properties together, assist them in setting a price and arrange for appraisals, inspections, and other services.

This course meets the four hour mandatory Broker Core requirement in supervision and management of real estate agents and the management of real estate brokerage firms. This course offers an overview of what it takes to manage a real estate office, and risk reduction techniques. It also covers common violations so that brokers and agents can reduce risk.
