CT Real Estate Law Review and Fair Housing Part 2


This course provides a detailed overview of Connecticut’s landlord-tenant and fair housing laws. It explores the proper handling of security deposits, protected classes under federal and state law, types of acts that violate fair housing laws, and the penalties that may be imposed for violations. The course also explains why it’s critically important for a brokerage to develop clearly defined written office policies relating to fair housing and discrimination and concludes with a discussion of the requirements of the Connecticut Personal Data Act.

This mandatory course meets the requirements for the 2018 to 2020 license renewal cycle. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
