2021 Mandatory - Basics of Investment Property and Property Management


Single family homes, duplexes, fourplexes, and small apartment complexes are often the point of entry for first-time commercial real estate investors. Licensees who work with these clients must have a solid understanding of how to determine the value of investment properties and the due diligence required before making a purchase. The course also explores the duties and responsibilities of property managers as well as related federal and Louisiana laws that impact property management. The course concludes with an overview of essential LREC updates relevant to Louisiana licensees.

This is the mandatory LREC continuing education course for 2021 license renewals and is approved for 4 hours of continuing education credit in Louisiana.
