Course 3 - Wisconsin New Developments

Overview

What's new in the Wisconsin real estate world? In this course, licensees will learn about recent changes to the WB-11 Residential Offer to Purchase, WB-13 Vacant Land Offer to Purchase, and the WB-14 Residential Condominium Offer to Purchase forms. The course also explores different technology tools that licensees may encounter in their real estate transactions, including electronic earnest money, remote online notarization, virtual tours, and surveillance devices. The course concludes with a review and summary of HUD guidance on the federal Fair Housing Act.

This course satisfies the three-hour requirement for Course 3, Wisconsin New Developments.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • explain the role of electronic earnest money in real estate transactions
  • discuss the requirements for remote online notarization of real estate documents
