Minnesota Medical Assistance Program

Overview

This course was developed to provide the state-specific portion of Minnesota's 8-hour long-term care producer training requirement. It is intended primarily for nonresident Minnesota producers who have completed a general course of study on long-term care, long-term care insurance, and the basics of partnership programs, but need training that is specific to Minnesota's Medical Assistance (MA) program.

Note: Students are advised that this course alone does not cover the full 8-hour training Minnesota requires for the sale of long-term care insurance. (For this purpose, WebCE offers the state-approved Medical Assistance Eligibility and the Minnesota Long-Term Care Partnership Program.)

Important Study Requirements: The Minnesota DOC does not permit agents to access the final exam until the student's time in the course (no more than 8-hours a day) equals the number of approved credit hours. The course must be stopped if the student is inactive for more than 10 minutes.

ClearCert assists leading insurance carriers with their responsibility to certify producer compliance with mandatory AML, Annuity, LTCI, and Flood training requirements. WebCE has participated in the ClearCert network since the company was founded in 2008 to ensure producers receive full credit from their carriers for their course completions. WebCE will automatically report completion of this course to ClearCert.
