The NAIC’s Pet Insurance Model Act, which requires specific training for producers selling pet insurance, has been adopted in a number of states. This course meets all the regulatory requirements of the Act. However, it provides added value by also explaining the coverages available for pets under a number of different types of policies. This holistic approach allows agents to advise their clients as to all of the risks and protections available for their pets.
This course satisfies the Montana Pet Insurance Act (MT Code Title 33, Chapter 24) requirement for two hours of training for producers who market, sell, or solicit pet insurance.
