This course presents a number of best practice standards for insurance claims adjusting, through the convention of a "Top 15 List." It offers recommended guidelines as well as mandatory procedures that direct how the claims adjuster should approach and execute their professional duties in handling claims.
Designed For:
Property and casualty insurance agents, brokers, adjusters, and claims professionals at any level in their career
Adding additional credit may change exam requirements.
Narrative was excellent and the values, roles, duties of a claim rep are clearly understood and all information was an excellent refresher for some lines of coverage not used for a while. Good Work Sincerely RS
I don't like that if you finish a course early that you have to wait for the timer. Time and the course material should not be associated with each other
Very good content for the experienced, or inexperienced adjuster.
The course took me less than half the required time. I had to review all of the slides at .75 speed twice in order to comply with the course time required...something is wrong with either too little content or the time not relating to the actual time required.
The time required to be in the course far exceeds the actual time needed, even when using the read-to-me feature.
This newest lesson titled the 15 rules was a great course, but 4 hours 10 minutes is too long. This is more likely a 2.5-3 hour course.
I like the sense of humor shown in the way some of the questions are worded or names used for fictitious companies. What I find frustrating is the ambiguous nature of some of the questions where the answer could be more than 1 of the choices.
Emphasize on the importance of the time as in real world time, not course time needs to be invested.
I went through all of the segments of the lesson and it took 2 hours and 1 minute. A minimum of 4 hours and 10 minutes is excessive for this lesson. There was no reason I had to spend an additional 2 hours and 9 minutes within the lesson to take the exam.
You should put in videos, there is a lot of reading which takes an enormous amount of time to get though the course and make it difficult
Several of the questions made no sense. It's like they were written by an LLM.
The course has a required minimum time before the test can be taken. I listened to the full read-it-to-me audio without skipping any sections. If the time requirement were aligned with that, it would make more sense. Instead, I had to go back and re-listen to most chapters before I could take the test.
The content was clear and easy to follow and understand.
In this course I liked the content, the outline and the way it flowed. It was presented very well. It was thorough and concise.
The Course materials were sufficient for my continuing education.
I enjoyed the overall experience and information provided but did not like the last chapter because I had to go over all the material twice to reach the 4 hr time frame before I could take the final test. All the other chapters were in sync with the time requirement and the last one should be too.
The run time of the courses fell far short of what is required for course credit hours. I had to run it twice.
Hate the time constraints
I dislike the amount of time required to complete the course. I like the structure of the course and the ease of answering the questions at the end of each chapter.
Read and listening to the content was tremendously helpful!
The time requirement is excessive for an adjuster with over 30 year's experience.
FYI...The graphic for the slide introducing best practices 5-1 lists the numbers as 5-9.
The course format is very straightforward and issue to follow. It has relevant content, which is easily explained and understood.
I appreciate the effort that goes into developing your continuing education programs, but I would like to offer some constructive feedback regarding the course structure. The volume of required questions throughout the entire course package is excessive. By the time I complete the full 24-hour program, the cumulative number of questions feels overwhelming and detracts from the learning experience rather than enhancing it. I would strongly prefer a format that allows for more uninterrupted learning—such as additional audio or content delivery—without frequent interruptions for lengthy, overly complex questions that do not appear to add meaningful educational value. If a comprehensive final exam (e.g., 50 questions) is already required, it would be more effective to reduce the number of questions embedded throughout the course. Streamlining this aspect would significantly improve the overall user experience. At this point, the current format makes it unlikely that I would choose this CE program again. I hope you will consider adjusting the balance between content delivery and required questioning.
Clear and concise content.
It would be nice if there were videos of example situations for those who learn differently.
Well done course
The lesson says this need to take 4 hrs. and 10 minutes. I finished the lesson less than 4 hours and repeat the lesson all over again to accomplish the hours needed which I found unnecessary as the lesson itself doesn't take 4 hrs. along with the exam. Perhaps you can take a look at this as we can use that extra time to take to the next lesson/class.
Course assigned for 4 hours of instruction, but only had 2 hours of content. Had to go thru twice for proper credit. Frustrating and unnecessary.
Easy to navigate and as someone who is not a great test taker I like that the practice exams confirm what I read through. It would be nice to have more interactive content, but not a dealbreaker.
There were grammatical errors in the text.
Good material. Very practical and applicable to today's insurance claim handling processes.
It was not obvious that there is a final exam.
WebCE helps to make the learning experience one that helps to retain the knowledge needed.
I let every lesson play through in its entirety. That took 3 hours. It then made me retake lessons to get to the minimum 4 hours and 10 minutes. That does not match the content.
Truly enjoyed this course
Take away the time frame from unlocking the exam. Its a waste of time.
just one thing, make the names easier.
Understood this test very east
This survey is too long
Love WEB CE!
Previous courses I have taken were great. This course required me to staff and read and reread sections before I could test. Using the read-to-me option left an hour of back and forth. Taking exams after each course has more benefits to the learner that long reading and exam at the end.
I found this course to be much more relevant to adjusting than others I have used in the past. Everything was related to THIS job, specifically. Often times, these courses feel more tailored toward an agent.
Great Tests!
Perfer Video/Audio. Please have all courses in video.
The read to me audio was very poor. So poor it was distracting especially in the longer sentences. Inflection and cadence were off as well. The lack of punctuation recognition contributed to the run on sentences and cadence. The course was to be 4 hrs. but content was 2 hrs. To meet the time requirement, 98 the course had to be played multiple times.
Excellent & Informative, would take again.
There is a written mistake in the course for the top five. It has 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and should have had 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 as the numbers decrease, not increase.
Enjoyed the course. Easy to understand and navigate.
I used the read to me option and still had 2 hours to sit and refresh so I could take the test. It was a waste of time.
The Course content was precise, not lengthy and the exam matched the material that was given. Thank you!
Many of the possible answers were overtly implausible. I was expecting something a little more challenging.
The website engineer did a wonderful job in making this website user friendly along with displaying the hours/time clock in informing the user of the hrs needing to complete the course.
Somehow I missed completing a few sections.
enjoyed learning the course material
I found this course to be very valuable and feel every Claims Adjuster should be required to take this course as part of their training.
I was able to use the audio to go through the course 2 complete times in the 4 hour class allotment. It should be a 2 hour course. I wasted a lot of time.
Test includes too many questions considering all of the quizzes throughout the course.
I did not like having to be in a certain course for a period of time before I could take the exam.
Videos would be helpful as a means of diversifying the learning and content to meet additional learning styles.
some repeated information
The time requirement is a little excessive
Why is there a minimum time to be on the site before being allowed to complete the course. I just sat there most of the time waiting for the time requirements to be fulfilled. The time requirement added nothing to learning the contents of the course.
The timer is unnecessary
Great course
great course
Overall, I like the format of your training material and presentation process.
The audio has nothing to do with the test questions
Good information presented in and interesting and understandable format.
The only thing I do not like about this process is that there is a time limit and you cannot exit the exam until you have met the time requirement, The course was for 5 hours, I finished the course in 3 hours, but I could not exit the course until I met the required time limit. I think that is unfair and uncessary and time consuming, I think once I complete the course, pass the exams, I should be allowed to exit the exam and move on!
I used every minute of each section and yet when finished I had only used half of the time required. I had to go through each section twice to meet the time requirement. Big waste of time.
Great course!
Some of the opening content was questionable.
easy way to get all CE requirements met
Easy to navigate.
I don't think the amount of time required to finish the course material before taking the test was necessary. I finished the course with 10 minutes or so to spare and still received a 100%, first try. Maybe 30 minutes instead of 38.
I enjoyed the amusing bits in the examples, it really helps with such dry subject matter
well written material!
Read-it-to-me audio for the questions and answers
Liked the application of the concepts/principals and real claim examples being applied. Made the material relatable and easier to understand/remember for the exam.
Thanks. Enjoyed the classes a lot of good information, ideas and reminders.
ease of website for CE credits
The timing/hours expected to read and review is quite extensive. No need for a 4 hour reading requirement for courses before taking the exam.
The chapter layout with links to review chapter content.
My learning style is by storytelling. That's one of the reasons I enjoyed the course and did well on the testing.
At the beginning of 'rules 5 - 1' there is a section where it counts up instead of down. I.e. "5, 6 ,7" when the clear intent is "5, 4, 3."
Test was overall great… It just a lot of information, and I wish I would have found out the one question I missed on the exam…Thanks
I liked that at the end of each section there is a "Lesson" section that recaps the section.
The time required to complete the course did not match the time needed to complete the course. The time required to be in the course is 4 hours and the time needed with the text being read by the course was under 2 hours.
The time requirement is too long, able to get through the material in much less time.
I think I learned a lot with this course but I am wondering if is going to be counted to renew my license like property and casualty and life and disability license in Washington State.
the timer for the course exceeded the time needed to complete.
I completed all the chapters of this lesson with the audio reader and completed the practice tests in 2.5 hours, but had to stay in the course for 4 hours and 10 minutes before allowed to take final exam.
I did not like that I had to remain in the course 4 hrs when I was done before that. I had to go through the material more than once to meet the time requirement.
I did not like I could not complete test, unless I was on the full 4 hours. I have been doing this work for years and it did not take 4 hours to answer the questions!
Keep the questions to promote one to think.
I like what the course had to offer.
I didn't like the setup counting from 20 down to 1, otherwise it's a pretty good look at claims adjuster's jobs
The course informaiton was valuable but some more interactive material or videos would have made it more interesting.
The course stated that you had to be in it for 4hrs 10 mins - however going through it with it being read to me was only 2 hrs plus - I had to redo the whole course to get to the 4 hrs.
Although some of the modules were redundant at times, it better prepared me for the 50-question exam
The classes are very good but I'm not a fan of the AI voice with all the mispronunciations.
It took 3 hours to read a 1 hour course. I may need to revisit the 3 hour courses I signed up for.
The questions could be simplified.
I wish I could review the answers that I answered incorrectly on the final exam. Other than that, I learned a lot from the CE courses that I enrolled in. I appreciate this opportunity.
The time required to take this class was too long.
some of the questions really had multiple correct answers, need to tweak that a little. Thanks,
The pop culture references made the questions more palatable. I literally referred WebCE to a few newer Adjusters. Great course.
Way too much time for this one
I liked the content of the course along with relatable examples. I did however, not understand why there was a specific reference to a specific lawyer along with their contact information at the beginning of the course. It seems very out of place.
The provided file materials were very comprehensive.
great content
The audio dialogue sounded monotone and robotic, I would have liked it to sound more conversational.
The length of time required to be in the course before taking the test - 4 hours and 10 minutes, is highly excessive considering the read-it-to me audio was over in around 2 hours.
I listened to the course in its entirety from the beginning to the end. However, the time showed that I was well over an hour short of the required duration. The course is either not long enough or the duration time needs to be adjusted.
Outstanding course
The idea you have to go through a four-hour course when you are familiar with 99% of the material was depressing. You should be able to take the test without having to endure listening to the same thing over and over again.
love the audio version
This course is to long and should be able to take the exam right after the course video.
It really doesn't take 4 hours to complete the course.
The course was very imforming, i really enjoyed it
Glad this is available online. Very informative.
I listened to the course. I had to listen to the whole thing 3 times before I could take the test. Someone should really look at how long it ACTUALLY takes to get the information, so we don't have to waste 3 hours of our time listening to the course again and again just to take the test.
Kind of repetitive ...
I didn’t like the fact that I had to wait to take the test. I finished the content in 3+ hours but had to go back through the material to get to the 4:10 minute time requirement
Overall, it was nicely done. I am appreciative of the ability to review chapters while taking the exam.
The read to text voice can be a little flat & boring at times
My only issue with this course was that I was halfway through the course during my first session, but when I logged back in to resume the course, I was NOT given credit for that time - in fact, even though I had completed 99% of the course material (when it was time to take the final exam), the 'clock' stated I had only spent one hour and 54 minutes (which was correct for that second session), and I was basically required to repeat 2+ hours of the course during my THIRD session, in order to take the final exam. Very irritating.
i love the big test at the end
Automatic audio does not forward from chapter to chapter
Excellent Course
Great course. Interesting and/or amusing examples.
I liked the rules being listed 1-15 and broken into sections because it was helpful keeping track of each separate rule and not getting them mixed up. I did not like the amount of time required to be in the learning content before being able to take the exam - it would have been better to have that cut in half.
Great content!
Great content
Very well designed course structure.
I hope I can figure out how to print my certificate, and how fast will my credit hours be posted?
Audio was helpful but it was AI and the timing and fluctuations were off. It was evident that it was AI. Would have been a lot better if the timing and influctuations would have matched the content.
The search function that highlights key words doesn't take you to the key word, this is not helpful to scroll through pages for color deficient people. We need a system that automatically takes us to the highlighted words from our search. Please stop reusing a scenario where Sally is at fault for Ben's damages only in some questions and then in other questions you reverse it so that ben is now at fault for Sally's damages. it's not helping us to learn. Keep the facts of the loss consistent when you are going to reuse names within scenarios within a single module.
I had to listen to the audio twice to meet the time requirement before testing. This makes no sense.
Great reminders of how to effectively adjust claims!
great course that allows me to operate on my time.
I like more examples
Some of the questions are worded so silly and confusing its a set up the fail. But other than that its okay just boring- wish there was videos or little diagrams to deal with that breaks up the mundaine
Was a simple process, and educational.
the course was read by computer and upon finishing, it was still 2 hours short of meeting the time threshold
SHOULD NOT REQUIRE OVER 4 HOURS TO BE ON LINE. REVIEW OF MATERIAL COULD BE DONE IN 2 HOURS OR LESS
Excellent course !
the ease of the steps for taking and completing course
Course was all reading, no video or other learning methods. it was very long and even though it was read aloud the time it took to do so was half the time required to be in the course, so I went through it a second time and still had time left over.
The training was very informative and comprehensive.
exam timed out and did not calculate the proper time in the exam, I had to go over already reviewed time to calculate hours in class.
Please don't require someone to listen for 4 hours and 10 minutes when your course is less than 4 hours and 10 minutes.
This course was too easy to require 4 hours and 10 minutes of time. It only took 30 minutes to actually read through the material. I do not believe it's worth 5 hours of course credit but I will happily accept it.
Taking a test after each section and another test with the same questions is repetitive and unneeded. Either have the test after each chapter or at the end...
This course has maybe 30-60 minutes of content and yet requires 4-5 hours to complete. Entirely misaligned.
Timer should be removed. I finished the course in 20 min but had to wait the additional 18 minutes to get 100% on the final.
many questions had more than one correct answer, an answer that was correct based on maintaining rapport and being supportive and an answer that was correct with claim handling.... number 9 was one of those questions. frustrating
great class
The introduction page for the last 5 rules numbers them 5,6,7,8,9 instead of 5,4,3,2,1
I strongly disliked not having the ability to take the final exam before the set timeframe expired.
This last course the 15 Rules, the time seemed to be off ... I did not skip any part, read through all the chapters, took all the practices tests got to the end and I had 2.5 hours to go yet to be able to take the test... so I had to redo the whole thing over again.. so may want to look at the time frame on this one. The other ones were not like that.. just this one.
This course was mostly a review of past information from the courses offered. I finished it in 15minutes then had to review for almost 4hours to take the test. Need to review the required course time. Too long.
The course was too short and had to be taken twice to meet the hour requirement to access the exam.
this course was written in a very understandable way and the flow chart in the appendix was an excellent representation of how to adjust a claim and interact with the claimant and/or insured.
The timings do not match. When the course is completed, it does not give 100% time; you have to repeat some courses to in order to complete the time.
The required time to complete the course seems too long. I listened to the entire course and completed all the quizzes, but then needed to spend two more hours in the course before the exam unlocked. I'm confused how I could listen to the entire course and not have enough time spent to finish the course?
had to listen to the training 3.5 times to meet the time requirement
Some of the chapters are too long!
Do not time course!
when reviewing the questions that were answered wrong, it would be helpful to provide the correct answer. I missed 2 questions and still do not know what the correct answer is. Thank you
the questions and courses have nothing to do with what we do in the real every day life of insurance. I feel the questions should be directed towards my current role which is property damage. There should not be questions about homeowners nor bodily injury stuff i have no knowledge about
The course did not take 4 hours to complete. I got through the materials with the read-to me feature and still had to be in the class for hours before I could take the exam.
Required time to review course material was way to long, there should be more educational material provided to support the hours dedicated to the course
Great Course Love using WEBCE !!
a little lengthy for CE
This is a great course to remind adjusters of the important aspects of our jobs and that it's not just the technical aspects.
Clear and user friendly.
Some of the answer choices have the same meaning. Either one of the answers could be correct. As a result, an answer could be correct and still cause the person being tested to get an incorrect answer.
1) There should be a note that CA property casualty adjusters should chose "adjuster" and not "property/casualty" courses or CA won't accept. 2) Adding additional states for multistate course should be easier and clearer and there should be a confirmation that we have selected X, Y & Z states. No ambiguity.
I was a little confused about the time allotted. It was more time than I needed, however, I did have the opportunity to do a good review. Thank you.
maybe...slow the speaking speed down a little.
this course is very helpful
I just wish these test were after each section and not at the end where you have to remember every single section. I also would love to see the questions I got wrong so I can know. It's pointless to not be able to see what you missed on any exam!
Great content format systematic and easy to follow.
Many of the questions are not clear and give more than one answer that could actually be correct.
I really like the read it to me audio option. It helps along with reading it myself.
enjoyed the couse3 very much!!
Very informative
Training is just reading with a test at the end. I could buy a book that does the same for much cheaper, but, my employer pays for this.
A lot of good information in this course for real life situations handling claims!
I thought some of the questions answers could be rephrased a bit where 2 answers didn’t happen to be so similar.
Great course! Very easy to follow and navigate.
Loved the "shades of gray" examples.
Course objectives, directions, content were very applicable to me as an adjuster for property claims
This entire CE requirement was made very informative and enjoyable.
The questions should leave out personal names in my opinion and refer to the specific persons role such as claimant, adjuster, insured etc. Names only seem to clutter the questions in my opinion. Still very happy with the course.
Extremely helpful to understanding expectations, insightful, and a thorough review of the roles of adjusters.
There appears to be an error in Chapter 2 under the Rule Number 9 section. It states "All documents need to be date stamped." Then it states, "Note the word 'each.'" But the word "each" is not used in reference to date stamping.
good examples of content.
The AI figure reading the course content is horrible. It cannot follow regular reading norms, when to lower the voice, when to pause etc. Go to "The Countdown continues. Here are the next five....." The reading of that is atrocious, to say the least. It makes it really difficult and annoying to follow along. It is valuable to have the audible version along with reading, I grasp it better that way. For God's sake, just have normal people do the reading who know how to pause at Periods, commas etc.
Great course, very informative.
should not have time requirements some are quicker readers than others
I loved the read to me feature as I followed along.
The audio is difficult as the speaker does not read the punctuations correctly and can be difficult to follow.
very much prefer these 50 questioniares with some reading material than 30 pieces of reading material and 30 mini quizs
Very informative course
Courses need to be more interesting and interactive. They're too monotone and uninteresting.
lots of information that is too much for a ce course. Too much California information and examples instead of New York where course is provided.
We need more tests and courses for workers compensation. Again in NM they gear more to liability. Many of us are WC adjusters and we dont handle PI or Liability property claims
This course did not show you what questions you got wrong after taking the test. That would be helpful.
Very good examples.
I would have preferred this to have been available with Read-it-to-me Audio.
Very good course.
I love your continuing education format, I'll be using WebCE as long as you are available!
A few of the questions were worded in such a way that the answer wasn't completely clear.
Excellent course
Great material
awesome materials
The auto generated read did not follow proper English etiquette. Instead of stopping at periods. it went straight to the next word or number without interruption. It should be delayed by at least a second before proceeding.
Very easy to read and understand
The course was fine until it got to number 2. The language used to explain was very difficult to understand. The wording read like a law form.
Well put -together course.
Simple, Concise and practical. Best one of the courses taken so far. The exam reflected key concepts in a simple way.
Good course with good explanations of proper adjuster behaviors needed to succeed
It said I got question #5 on the first chapter wrong but I didnt. There was no red answer highlighted just the green/correct answer which I had gotten right but for some reason it counted it as wrong. Please fix this.
I am in IT- the interface is SO easily organized; it is easy to read and the eye follows the content- thank you for thinking this through, most people don't!
I normally have a fear of taking test and become overwhelmed and do not retain the content. The way this information was presented was outstanding and put my mind at ease.
Great course material!!!
Some of the information is outdated.
The course was very well laid out and easy to understand.
very informative course
Great Content and Testing process!
More stressful to complete a comprehensive exam at the end of the course-- prefer answering exam questions at the end of each section.
When using search terms for review during exams, please give us a "tab-to" button. Having to scroll the entire document looking for highlights is rather annoying considering how simple this would be to add. Also, when i select a reading speed, that selection should remain throughout an entire course. I should not have to select 1.5 or 2.0 at each chapter.
The way the information is presented is a bit dry. It would be better to have more charts or videos to present examples or information.
A few questions contained grammatical errors. This caused me to have to reread the questions several times to make sure I understood them.
i have used Webce for many years and find it very easy to utilize.
I enjoyed this course and the learning materials. Also, enjoyed the scenario's.
I did not like the 50 question exam.
I wish his course was audible
Sometimes the questions can lead you down a worm hole as if to try and confuse you, when they should just ask you straight up questions on what you just read.
I like it to be more audible as well because I want to heareverything read out
Appreciated the real world scenarios
I could not engage the "read it to me" audio on this course. It could have been my fault, though I didn't see a tab to click on that would engage this feature.
no audio. test question 44 has an error. words need to be switched around.
Forcing the time requirement of 38 minutes for something that takes 10-15 minutes to read and comprehend seems a bit overbearing. If the test can be passed the length with which the materials are studied should be irrelevant.
I thought it was all very informative and easy to follow.
Too Long. Need to simplify. Have something specifically for Property adjusters. too many Personal Liabilities and Auto Questions,
Keeps me on my toes reading all this material lol.
There's quite a bit of information and references in the material that has nothing to do with Florida and a bunch of areas where a learner can get distracted.
On questions I missed, I'd like to see corrected answers and explanations.
A well thought out course of study.
This course took longer than needed to complete due to it being only text. While some people may thrive with this kind of learning, I personally find it quite difficult.
I think you should review the questions I got wrong, as I think on the first one the "correct" answer has a harsh tone that should have been avoided.
Within Section 3.1 the rules are numbered 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 vs 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
I did not take this course with audio and probably would have preferred that method. That said, nothing else needs changing.
A comprehensive approach in educating adjusters .Added a lot more than anticipation. Surely an enriching experience. Thanks
would have like to know which questions I got wrong.
I was thinking this course was going to be more informative than just the basics.
Easy and simply.. Just read the question.
Thank you! Excellent Course and very user friendly!
Very helpful and clear to understand the informationmation in the lesson
I wanted to review the questions I answered incorrectly.
Very clear and concise
different course structure but great presentation.
definitely found the information educational.
the course was great
I liked both the content and how this course was laid out.
Videos that can go along with the discussion, read it to me helps but that would have focusing on topic
The "text-to-speak" left a lot to be desired for the typical adult-learner. The narration was uninteresting, lacked inflection and struggled at times to convey the material as it was written.
