The ai voice mispronounced several words and I'm sure my colleagues will be mispronouncing these same words which will give our members evidence to think we are stupid or ignorant or both. This training could be better! It shouldn't be made difficult to learn the different types of homeowners policies. Not to mention all the perils for each homeowners policy that's covered. I would have liked to get a 100% on each test and also think everyone should feel confident after learning but unfortunately I can not say that for such atrocious training material and hope that you can do better! I will say something positive I am glad to hear Benjamin Franklin started insurance and Thank you for teaching me that very positive fact!

The course is fine - i would have bought elsewhere if it said i would need a monitor. most courses are open book and the online description said your course was open book. It wasnt until i took the exam that it told me otherwise - will not purchase that again.

Getting into course can be difficult for me
This material was fine in the 1990's but the whole world has long since changed. tHis material is horribly irrelevant for todays risks.
I certainly learned better from the audio and written study materials.
I thought this course had way too much content. Should probably be separated into two different courses - one for property, CGL, WC and auto. And another for the other lines. I found it very difficult to remember all the different categories of insureds for so many types of policies.
Objectives & learning information clearly explained.
Questions were poorly written, and not psychometrically balanced. "All of the following except" questions are designed to trick the test taker, not measure pure knowledge. Additionally, many of the questions were vague enough to allow for ambiguity in the answer chosen.

The mini tests after each section requires a lot of time to complete. i would have preferred study material with one test/quiz at the end.
This course was much more detailed. I was a little confused on some of the content. EPLI and D&O but I finally got it.

Being an insurance professional for many years, there are various sections that I am able to speed through because I work with the coverages on a daily basis while there are others that I must read through and truly am learning something new. I think it is best that if someone finishes the course before the timeframe they should be able to complete it and close it out at 100%.
The read it to me feature was irritating. You need to have a real person read this. The computer-generated voice is annoying.

Oregon Insurance Law is about as boring as possible, and personally, I think it's ridiculous that we have to take a class every two years. HOWEVER, this course made it bearable and easy to get through. I really appreciate the structure and content of the lessons.
Some of the questions are far too pedantic. Also, many agents writing heavily in the E&S market will not use standardize ISO forms. All of this content is only applicable to admitted markets and the focus on overly difficult questions is asinine.
The ethics webinar. Having at least 1 per week is why I did not renew with BetterCE for the first time ever. State Farm agent aspirants are being forced to have the SIE, 6, 63, and 65, and some of those line up with our expiration. Allowing us to catch up from procrastination will get you a bunch more people.
A lot of detail but aided in actually learning the material, lot just passing the exam.

The numbers on the "Contents" page don't seem to relate to anything. It does not appear to be the chapter numbers nor the page numbers. Therefore, the Contents pages are useless.

There was a lot of complex content in this course, specific to terminology. This course didn't follow the same completion process as the other courses. It closed out before access to the certificate of completion and isn't showing as complete on my dashboard.

Making the chapters similar in size is preferred. Some chapters were very long with many questions associated with it. While other chapters were a 2 minute read with maybe 2 questions to go with it. Just add that chapter into a previous one. Seemed silly.
The content quality is great, and the exam is easy to complete. The FAST credit reporting is incredible! This reporting time is the cherry on top, making WebCE my top choice going forward!

One of the exam questions about mediation referred to being able to choose not to accept the decision of the 3rd party. I chose arbitration because in the statement before the exam it stated that sometimes the decision in Mediation can be refused. I realized that in Arbitration a decision can always be refused. I find that the exam question wasn't clear enough for me to choose the Mediation answer.

I like the short reads and the read to me function. Makes it a lot smoother of a listen than just jumping back and forth to find the answers. It seems to stick easier in my brain. Would like some color though, graphs, and maybe some of the questions to be less wordy. They get to be too much and gotta reread it. I think this is the first time I've used your company for my license CE and I can say will most likely be the last. I'm not trying to be mean it just seemed like the material was for executive level licensing. I'm a lowly agent just trying to keep my license and the material and questions seemed to be for those that are leaders and those making decisions within the insurance industry as a whole. So many questions started with "You're the state insurance..." or "An audit by the state insurance department..." I have no clue about the insurance workings at those levels and yet I'm being asked questions like I am. Past CE seemed to be designed from the agent's perspective and made sense. Also some questions had nothing to do with the material that was just covered. Some sections were just a page long of material and I searched and searched but couldn't find the answer no matter how many times I read it. I hope this constructive criticism might lead to reassessing the material and making it more appropriate for the vast majority or your customers: agents

The voice of the read it to me audio was very monotone and difficult to listen to for long periods of time. An actual human with inflection in their voice or videos would be much better.
The course was nothing more than a reading of the Oregon Insurance code from top to bottom. No good examples, no discussions and explanations.
I like the testing on each module, it is much more effective to retain than lumping all the info on a large test at the end.
I think that the answers to some of the questions were incorrect or, at the very least, were not in line with the text.

Was surprised that this ethics had so much to do with life and health insurance - would have preferred it about P&C but probably helped me personally, especially about annuities.

Not enough information on each chapter for there to be a quiz that follows. The length of the questions in the quiz's is so much longer than the information in the chapter. Ended up spending more time reading the quiz questions than I did learning the material.

Easy to understand
I would rather have a real person doing the voice over of the course instead of a computer generated voice. The computer voice became tiresome.

The last chapter glitched and would not auto play.
I only needed 1 law credit but I had to take this 3 credit course because it was the only one offered. it was PAINFUL. Was it read by a computer? Sounded like it. Would be nice if you made the subject matter interesting.
The only criticism I have is that I purchased a bundle that met my 3 hours of ethics and 12 hours of classroom equiv, plus several extra courses that exceeded my 24 hour requiremen.but once they showed up in my docket, I couldn't figure out which course contained the ethics portion. It would be nice if it was a little clearer, because I am holding off on taking some courses until March so they will apply to my requirements for 2027. If this does not make sense you can contact me for clarification.
This particular course contained an overabundance of typos. It was obvious that it was not edited well, and that contributed to the content of the course book and the test questions being extra confusing. Please use a better editor. This was horrible.

I did find some grammar and spelling errors in a few bits of the test material specifically that made some questions potentially difficult. a lot of the questions were also quite long, which is fine considering the time it took to complete.

This class is for Life and Health insurance. However at least half of the material was presented as Property Casualty learning. Bad design.
questions were too long and wordy
The questions were often phrased awkwardly or had incomplete information. The content and questions regarding professional liability were impossible to answer correctly because there was no context given of retro dates, claims-made vs. occurence, prior acts coverage, etc.

I think the material was very well presented, and while somewhat "heavy" at times, it was instructive and furthered/deepened my knowledge.
The wording that includes double negatives should be rewritten in this course it seems to cause confusion
some text was above my head in understanding.
The material is very long and complicated. I prefer hands on reading material to highlight and make notes. The final test is very difficult and should relate more to the chapter test questions.
The read-to-me-audio AI in the Law course was not as well done as the Ethics course. I found it harder to understand and listen to. Otherwise, content was there. Thank you!
Very good course
I felt the energy going into this course for the credit hours is disproportionate to the other courses (much higher). I felt some of the chapter materials were unclear and sometimes redundant creating difficulty in getting through the material. The test was simpler than the chapter quizzes so that helped make up for the difficulty and time expended getting through the course material.
all I would add is keeping the chapter sections short makes a huge difference if you go over 3-4 minutes the subject becomes too dull and too long
The test was a bit wordy. I understand the desire for competency; however, after a wordy presentation, a wordy test is Confounding.
There were multiple typos on my tests making it extremely difficult to understand questions/answers. The last test I passed was very confusing. It took me three hours to complete.

The narrator for this course was terrible. He had no idea what he was discussing, he had mispronounced word like "minitrial" and his timing around commas and punctuation was horrible.
The questions were too specific for Continuing Education. There's a lot to read and comprehend and more GENERAL questions would've sufficed More specific questions are more necessary for when someone who is preparing to first get their license.
Questions should be in the order of the content. Back and forth gets very frustrating.
There appeared to be an error in the answer key for a final exam item. I will issue a ticket to Content Development to address this.

This course took way longer than 6 hours to complete. It was written for attorneys not insurance professionals. Particularly difficult for agents who work in personal lines. It was part of a package.

I have used WebCe for all of my renewals...I must say that it has become not user-friendly...We all know that this a money grab course and to make the questions so tricky to understand is un-nerving..I can't imagine an older person taking this test..It's unreal.. at least give the options to correct the answers you got wrong instead of doing 50 questions over again. Like I said money grab course for our corrupt state. I won't recommend this course anymore..I will suggest a much user friendly course. Revamp this test or you will loose money.

The computer-generated reader is hard to follow at times. It would be much easier, in my opinion, if you used a live voice actor to read.
This format is difficult as you cannot refer back and there is such lengthy verbiage to the questions and answers. Too many variables to memorize.

Some of the questions could be more clear. There were questions where more than one answer could have applied depending on your understanding of the question. In other words, the question could be understood in more than one way, which of course determines the answer chosen.

There were infrequent instances of grammatical errors and one moment when the course seemed to contradict itself, specifically in the EPL section talking about who is an employee. "Contract workers" were listed as a commonly included employee type, and a special case example, which was confusing.
The electronic "read it to me" voice can be monotonous and un-inflected
Turgid explanations. Difficult to read and follow. Hard chapter exams. Took me way longer than 6 hours to complete. Saving grace was that the final exam was very easy. Not a good choice for someone with a property insurance background.
More case studies and examples would be helpful.
I prefer videos instead of read-it-to-me audios.

This course held to much information for such a small test. It was difficult to go through the many chapters to then not even need half of the information for the test.
Even thought I rec'd 100%, This exam seemed extremely more complex than the material in the unit.
The read aloud function was disappointing as the robot voice mispronounced a number of words, had a tone that was droning and lacked in inflection on words that needed it. Some of the practice quiz questions were also worded pretty poorly, even for the areas of insurance that I specialize in, so that made the course take even longer and was frustrating.
you could help by providing more appropriate visuals (diagrams, charts, formatting of the content) to emphasize importance and aid memory
This course was a bit on the laborious side. I almost fell asleep a couple times.
I did not enjoy the format of the "solving the insured's puzzle". It was too regimented.

I dislike the ability to view both the test and the course instruction on screens at the same time. Many times when I'm unsure of an answer I like to refer to the course again to review that portion. This requires you to close one, open another and vice versa. Would likely take courses elsewhere based on this one element.

The course package indicated open book, however, not all portions were open book. Misleading.
I actually learned some new things when it comes to rules an insurance company must obey.
On the longer chapters, i think it would benefit to have practice questions every couple of chapters. lots to learn, remember.
This course was too broad in scope.
Course content was almost ambiguous with the insertion of life and health references.
I found no questions on the final exam about health insurance, which is all I sell.
This one seemed very wordy on some slides which was a little overwhelming. It would be nice to have it broken into smaller chunks.
I use WEB CE for all my requirements since the content is good and the ease of use is excellent!

Personally, I don’t like the nuts and bolts of Insurance regulations and what organizations do what or what different forms of misconduct are called. I just know I need to do my job in an ethical manner and not break any laws. Thank you so much for making the course fun though.
the "read-to-me" feature was great, but it would have been even greater if I could choose the voice. it was very robotic.
The only thing I disliked about the NI course is that the screens only showed a few paragraphs, when I would prefer to have a drag box on the side. It was annoying to have to hit the next button every minute! (I am a fast reader and found it too burdensome).

The answers to the longer (more complicated) questions were NOT clear, even after rereading applicable sections.
It is a lot of material to read which is important to know. The example were clear. Most of all is only 25 questions.
I would prefer to remove the quiz questions and allow for one document to read through. Also, I always prefer open book tests.

More than 70% of the questions did not pertain to the line of business that I was taking the test for - life insurance. Most questions were framed around P&C scenarios.
I expected life, health, and accident topics. Not P&C and legislation.

I have taken numerous courses from WebCE, and I found this one more difficult to follow than others. I thought the material was somewhat confusing, as far as the way things were worded. It was hard to follow. Especially the GL, Auto, and WC units. I feel that my experience in the industry helped me pass the exam .

It was extremely difficult. I had to take the FinalCourse Test MULTIPLE times and had to go through the entire course 3 times. There were too many endorsements to remember all of them correctly and it seemed there were a lot of questions about the endorsements where it wasn't clear exactly which one was correct. I did well in the previous courses, but really struggled with this one.
Time represented for the CE hours were not accurate and took much longer for a 47 year insurance person. Please revise hours given to the time needed even to read much less to absorb and learn.
Some questions were poorly worded and meant to confuse
One of the questions about insurable interest used the term "currently", then referenced a future event as the correct answer. Maybe remove the word "currently"?
