Online and Traditional Continuing Education (CE) Programs to Be Offered to The Council’s 255 Member Firms in over 3,000 locations around the country.Washington, DC, Oct. 19, 2000. The Council of Insurance Agents + Brokers, the leading commercial insurance trade association, today announced a strategic partnership with WebCE, the leading provider of e-learning CE solutions for the insurance industry. According to the agreement, WebCE will deliver its extensive library of state-approved continuing education (CE) offerings to The Council’s members.

The Council-WebCE partnership will enable The Council’s members to join tens of thousands of other insurance professionals already utilizing the benefits of WebCE’s e-learning solutions. WebCE’s e-learning technology platform houses one of the world’s largest libraries of continuing education for insurance professionals. Hundreds of hours of WebCE’s insurance-specific content, approved in all 44 states allowing distance learning, will now be accessible through the Council’s web site. The Council’s members will also be able to order paper-based CE courses, should they prefer traditional content.
