WebCE and QQLink.COM Announce Co-Branding Partnership

March 2001

DALLAS – WebCE, a nationwide provider of custom, web and CD-ROM based training, mentoring and professional programs, will provide its state-approved continuing education courses to QQLink.com’s over 1,500 insurance agents through a co-branded Internet site. QQLink, a subsidiary of Ceres Group, Inc. [NASDAQ: CERG], is the online source for quality insurance products and financial services.

QQLink agents will be able to access more than 55 state-approved CE courses through the QQLink web site at www.qqlink.com, and can meet continuing education objectives at their own pace in the convenience of their home or office. Using WebCE’s state-of-the-art course delivery technology, agents can instantly select and order state-approved correspondence courses over the Internet and start fulfilling continuing education requirements immediately.

Courses can be completed in a single session or over a series of sessions, whichever is convenient for the student. After completing a CE course, the insurance professional can elect to take a printed or online version of the test, and he or she will receive instant pass/fail notification via e-mail. Material remains online and available to the student for review at a later date. In addition, users can monitor the status of orders, check on exams and even access secure training records, all via the Internet.

“With the Internet sweeping through all aspects of the insurance industry, agents are becoming more and more comfortable using their computers to get things done,” said Gary Henkel, CEO of WebCE. “I am excited about the opportunities created by this partnership with QQLink. It should make the process of obtaining certification much easier for agents.”

State-required CE credit is available through WebCE for life and health insurance agents, property and casualty insurance agents and insurance adjusters in all 45 states that allow distance learning.

"By making continuing education so readily available, we are helping our QQLink agents remain competitive by enhancing their training and knowledge more economically and efficiently," said Susan Hahn, Senior Vice President of QQLink. "They can learn and complete course requirements without having to leave their office or home. They can remain in touch with their clients while fulfilling their CE requirements.”
