WebCE Announces Availability of Texas Classroom Equivalent Insurance CE Courses

Courses completed via the Internet fulfills new Texas Classroom CE requirements

July 30,2003 - Dallas, Texas - WebCE, a nationwide insurance continuing education provider, announced today the immediate availability of several Texas “Classroom Equivalent” courses. WebCE recently completed enhancements to its web-based course delivery platforms, enabling Texas customers to fulfill their classroom CE requirement from any Internet connection. The new web-based courses have already been certified by Texas Department of Insurance.

“The Texas Department Of Insurance has taken a bold and innovative step to dramatically improve the convenience and quality of CE available to their licensed insurance professionals,” said Lisa Cook, Vice President of Operations for WebCE. “The new Texas CE guidelines now allow professionals to meet their 15 hour Classroom CE requirement by viewing courses over the Internet that meet strict requirements for authentication, testing and interactivity. The result is a dramatically improved learning experience without having to spend crucial selling time or excessive fees to attend a classroom. We are confident that other progressive states will soon emulate these new e-learning standards.”

With the addition of these Classroom Equivalent courses, WebCE now offers Texas agents 40 different courses to fulfill their entire 30 hours of CE. The new Classroom Equivalent courses are online and require no final exam or third-party monitor. In addition, Classroom Equivalent courses are a rewarding and stimulating way for agents to complete their classroom requirements. WebCE’s Classroom Equivalent courses can also satisfy the 2-hour Ethics requirement.

Texas agents can order all 30 hours delivered online for only $89.95.
