New web-based service offers 60 courses accredited for both CFP and state insurance CE nationwide

WebCE, a nationwide provider of Internet-based continuing education (CE) courses to the financial services industry, today announced the immediate availability of 60 courses accredited by the CFP Board ® through a new portal called CFPCE.com. The portal offers both general study courses as well as CFP Ethics and Financial Practice Standards courses. Collectively, the site offers over 350 hours of CFP CE. The courses are also approved for state insurance continuing education nationwide, enabling CFP’s holding an insurance license to complete both requirements with single courses.

"Over the years, our customers have encouraged us to expand into the CFP arena. Our announcement today underscores our commitment to delivering value and convenience to professionals in the financial services industry," said Gary Henkel, CEO of WebCE. "CFPCE.com leverages WebCE’s existing content and technology, giving CFP’s access to quality courses at unbeatable prices.”

CFPCE.com uses WebCE’s unique course delivery application, which allows CFP professionals to complete their CE requirements in an easy-to-use online format. The student can log in and out of the course material as often as he or she needs to conveniently complete the courses. Online exams are instantly graded.

All 60 CFP CE courses are available for just $15.00 each. The price includes online access to the course, an online exam, a certificate of completion, and automated reporting to the CFP Board. An additional $3.00 fee applies if state CE accreditation is also requested. Any state-imposed insurance CE roster fees are extra.
