WebCE® Releases Idaho-Specific Long Term Care Partnership Training Course
WebCE, the nationwide provider of continuing education for insurance professionals, announced the release of a new course titled, Long-Term Care Partnership Insurance for Idaho. The new course was developed as a way for producers to obtain the required eight hours of study on the subject of long-term care and long-term care partnership programs. The course has already been approved by the Idaho Department of Insurance for this purpose.
Since the passage of the Deficit Reduction Act, Idaho became one of the first states to implement a new long-term care partnership program. As part of the new program, the state requires that all producers who sell, solicit, or negotiate long-term care insurance in Idaho must have eight hours of training on this subject. This training must be completed by November 1, 2007, while the producer continues to sell LTC insurance. After this date, a producer cannot sell or place a LTC policy without having completed this training.
WebCE’s new course addresses long-term care, long-term care insurance, qualified partnership programs, qualified partnership policies, and the relationship between partnership policies and other public and private coverage of long-term care.
Long-Term Care Partnership Insurance for Idaho is approved for eight (8) credit hours of CE credit and available for $19.95. Quantity discounts are available.
