WebCE® Joins ClearCert as An Approved LTCI Training Provider

WebCE announced today that it has joined ClearCert, an independent information clearinghouse for long-term care partnership training, as an approved course provider.  In addition, WebCE’s new training course, Long-Term Care: Programs, Policies, and Partnerships, has been certified by ClearCert as being fully compliant with mandatory long-term care training requirements in many states.

With this certification, insurers and distributors are assured that producers who successfully complete WebCE’s certified course have met their state’s long-term care training requirement.

“Our membership with ClearCert and the certification of our training course support our commitment to providing our clients with a solution to their long-term care training needs,” said Gary Henkel, WebCE’s CEO.  “We are dedicated to helping our clients – insurers, distributors, and producers – meet their compliance requirements with quality content, in an efficient and cost-effective way.”

Increasingly, states are enacting long-term care training requirements for producers who market and sell this coverage, whether or not in conjunction with a LTC partnership program.  The unique aspect of these new training requirements is that the insurer is responsible for ensuring that its producers take appropriate and valid courses.  For this purpose, ClearCert created a detailed course content model designed by a team of the industry’s top subject matter experts and trainers.  Certification by ClearCert of a provider’s course is evidence that the content meets its rigorous standards for long-term care compliance training.  For more information on Clearcert visit
