WebCE®, the leading provider of online insurance continuing education and training, is pleased to announce the immediate availability of 3 new 5-hour law and ethics updates courses which meet the new 5-hour law and ethics update CE requirement for 2-14 Life and Variable Annuity, 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity, 2-16 Life Only, 2-18 Life and Health, and 2-40 Health agents in Florida.  Under the new requirement, licensees with a renewal date of October 31, 2014 or later will be required to complete a 5-hour law and ethics updates course from an approved provider, which will replace the current ethics, law, premium discounts, and senior suitability requirements across the various license types.

Licensees with a renewal date of October 31, 2014 or later are required to complete a 5-law and ethics course from an approved provider as part of their 24-hour CE requirement.  Florida’s new 5-Hour Law and Ethics Update requirement replaces the current ethics, law, premium discounts, and senior suitability requirements across the various license types.  Licenses that renew before October 31, 2014 are still required to comply with the old CE requirements, and should complete courses for ethics, law, premium discounts and senior suitability requirements.
