WebCE Now Offers 2 Insurance CE Courses Covering the Affordable Care Act

by WebCE | Mar 11, 2015

WebCE is pleased to announce that it now offers two insurance continuing education (CE) courses that focus on the Affordable Care Act and what it means for individuals and businesses.   ACA, Small Businesses, and SHOPs and ACA and the Basics of Health Insurance Exchanges were developed to provide producers with the guidance needed to understand the many changes this law brought about, and to help their clients determine whether an exchange plan may be appropriate for their needs.

About the Courses:

ACA, Small Businesses, and SHOPs: This course provides an overview of the changes that the Affordable Care Act brought about for businesses and the small group health market.  The course also provides a general overview of the role of agents and brokers in the federally facilitated SHOP, which currently is the model that the majority of states elected.  This course is available online and is approved for insurance CE credit in 49 states.

ACA and the Basics of Health Insurance Exchanges: This course provides an overview of the health insurance exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act and how they are intended to function under the law.  This course is available online and is approved for insurance CE credit in 30 states.
