based on each state’s insurance exam content outlines. There have been
major changes to several state content outlines and exam regulations in the
last few months. PreLicense.com responded to these major changes quickly and
efficiently, in all cases being one of the first providers to offer updated
courses on a timely basis. Here is a summary of this summer’s biggest state
changes:
- FL Life,
Accident and Health (215) Regulation Changes
This summer, the FL 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity course requirements changed from 40 hours to 60 hours. The PreLicense.com 60-hour course has been on our course catalog since August 18th, and was one of the first 60-hour courses to be approved.
- CA
Accident and Health Exam Content Outlines Revisions
Effective Aug. 1, 2015, CA made revisions
to the exam content outlines for the Life Only, Health Only, and Life, Accident
and Health licensing exams. PreLicense.com fulfilled making the changes as
requested by the state and the new courses have been active on the catalog
since, July 15th.
- TX Life
and Health and Property and Casualty Exam Content Outlines Revisions
Effective for exams taken on or
after September 1st, 2015, PearsonVUE issued new exam outlines for
the Texas Life & Health and Texas Property & Casualty Insurance license
exams. PreLicense.com courses are up-to-date with these new changes.
- NY Life
and Health Exam Content Outlines Revisions
Prometric has revised the exam
outlines for the New York life and health insurance license exams. These
changes take effect on Sept. 7, 2015. PreLicense.com
has updated its New York Life-Only, Health-Only, and Life & Health courses
to reflect these changes.
