by Mallory O'Sullivan | Apr 06, 2018

New Mexico recently updated the CE renewal requirements for insurance producers and adjusters, including flood training. Insurance producers who wish to sell flood insurance products must now complete 4-hours of NFIP Flood Training. This one-time training must be completed by 2/27/2019 in order to sell flood insurance products. If you have already completed a 3-hour flood training course, you are required to make up the additional hour.

Our course, Advanced Flood Insurance: Elevation Certificates and Grandfathering, is approved for the necessary 4-hours of NFIP flood training. This course covers two areas of the National Flood Insurance Program’s training curriculum and is written to the outlines and learning objectives specified by FEMA.
