The course is wonderful however, the credit hours assigned to the course are not accurate. It takes well over 9 hours to read the material and take the practice tests and exam. WebCE should really work on that issue. I noticed many others have stated this as well.

I had mistyped my last name on the dashboard. when i noticed this on the exam i called the help number. The rep said she fixed it and I could see the correction on the dashboard. however, i called back again because the testing tab still showed the incorrect last name. I appreciate that this course was not shy about, and even highlighted, the financial dilemmas insurers face when deciding to defend fraud. Knowing that paying instead of defending could inadvertently encourage more fraud. I appreciate this being addressed head on.
Materials seemed to be somewhat difficult to understand as there were to many concepts per sentences and sections. A little TMI.

THERE ARE TOO MANY GRAMMER ERRORS, PLEASE CORRECT.
The AI audio is full of verbal flaws that make it hard to focus. Inconsistent pauses (or lack of them) between sentences, mispronunciation of words like CONtractor (vs conTRACTOR), damage the integrity of the audio. Pay real voice talent and it will improve this course.
It would be nice if the volume could be set once and not have to reset it every time a new chapter is selected.
Much of the test questions were not found in the reference learning material.

The way AI read the content was a mess unfortunately. Grammatical errors made for confusing read-it-to-me audio. Mispronunciation of words like "subcontractors" was obnoxious as well. The content itself was difficult to follow. I had to reread a number of sections to glean what it was trying to say.
Would be nice to have a read-it-to-me via video demo. It helps the visual learner too.
This type of course - reading followed by an exam - in some ways is better than an in-person-class because, for example, you have to LEARN the material being presented rather than being LECTURED on the material.

This was the most difficult tests I have taken yet.
Very informative and easy to follow.
I have used webCE for years to recertify my adjuster's license every two years (though under a previous account). Imagine my surprise this time to find that DEI has infected even this material. References to equity and diversity should not apply to adjuster decision-making. The policy is a contract between company and policyholder, and coverage/denial decisions are based on policy language and applied consistently to ALL policyholders regardless of their "culture." Additionally, wikipedia is quoted as source material in one of the slides. That alone invalidates the respectability of the entire presentation, since widipedia is a constantly-revised, user-defined platform. I will not be using webCE for my next renewal if this same Ethics model is present in two years.
I liked the narrative examples that were presented. They were interesting to review and provided a break from the traditional textbook format of presenting information.

I thought the course met the stated objectives without being to long or complicated.
Questions were written poorly and allowed room for subjective answers. If testing, needs to be more black and white. Many answers were written in the book upon review so that is how I knew it wasn't correct on the test but, the answer could be technically correct in certain circumstances. I do not believe those are fair questions and answers to present.

If you're going to tell a 25 minute story, it should be a video or maybe some sort of interactive content. It was soo boring.
If using the read only function and one of the chapters is very long, the system should not time out because of this. I had to log off and log back on because one of the stories was longer than the "time-out" time limit. Also, the content should not be political or opinionated. Facts only please!

Sections 3 and 4 do not present very well. The fact patterns are overly complicated and the main concepts get lost.
I should be able to skip straight to the exam like before.
The audio is too robotic to listen to. Also, there is complex information in this course. More illustrations would help to learn concepts.

The Read It To Me Audio is an artificial voice. It even reads dots. A bolded T on the word "the" was read T-he. There is not enough inflection in the speaking of the words. A real person with interest in and knowledge of the material would significantly help the listener retain it.
The sentence construction in several places was difficult to follow as seemed to be worded somewhat backwards or was too wordy......ended up having to read it out loud and get rid of the extra words.....
This course was fantastic. The "stories" throughout made it an interesting course. It kept me engaged. Great job!
I liked that it was open book so I could refer back to the course materials for the final exam. There is way too much legal jargon and unclear verbiage that makes the theories and applications of them very confusing and gray. I would not recommend this material to any not well versed in the legal terms of insurance.

I see nothing wrong with this course , the materials could be explained a little more ,but it's not bad. I like it all.
The narrative was difficult to understand.
The "Return to Dashboard" could be easier to find or bigger.
The only "Negative" I can mention relating to this particular course is that there was an excessive amount of unnecessary verbiage in the majority of the course content which resulted in it taking MUCH longer to read all of the provided materials than is needed for the relatively "simple" topics covered ! A significant portion of the provided wording could easily be omitted from the course with no adverse affects on the comprehension of the course material or the Final Exam proficiency, in my opinion.
The content covered in this course was too vast. Some of the test questions were confusing or vague and even with the Search option it was difficult to determine the correct answer.
Videos or interactive activities would have made this more engaging, as well as the ability to highlight or have the read-it-to-me audio highlight as you go along.

I was a little confused about the proctors and how to utilize. Once I realized there was NO list of proctors and to use someone who is not 'close' to me it was then easy to complete.

Protestors DID set fire to property and cities and 30 people were murdered. Those are the actual facts and they are irrefutable. The one thing I really dislike was using Wikipedia as a reference: "As stated in Wikipedia, in psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall self-appraisal of his or her own worth.". This is a cardinal sin in sourcing reference material, especially when referring to a science such as Psychology where there are millions upon millions of credible, and scientific source material. The word 'Pyschology' was also misspelled as it wasn't capitalized.

the discussion of how to show respect fails to take into account neurodiversity. It mentions that the easiest way to show respect is to maintain eye contact. This can be difficult to someone who is neuro-atypical. Statements like these generalities should be more inclusive.
I liked the course, though I would advise having a Continuing Education course reference Wikipedia in the lessons. Since Wikipedia is known to not be a primary source and full in incorrect info as anyone online can update it.

I'm guessing that Chapter 6 quiz - question 2 was a "trick" question because Values Descriptor: Open minded = Quality Descriptor: Friendly. All other choices were Values Descriptors which made: Respect for others the only option. This hung me up on the question for way longer than it should have. I didn't like the trickery.

Suggest taking out double negatives in questions as they do not contribute to testing course knowledge but rather test English comprehension skills.... Suggest making the search tool go to the highlighted results. I understand several of the questions are auto selected to be included in the exams. Several times I answered the same question 2-3 times in a row on the same exam. Different names and values associated with the question, however the questions all got to the same point and had the same answer. Again, 2-3 questions back-to-back. May want to look into that. Also, several grammatical errors in the questions can lead to ambiguity in the correct answers.

I have been an Agent since 1997. I have completed many CE courses over the years. Content wise, I would like to see more variety. Topics that cover home appliances, plumbing, and electrical. ID theft and fraud loss coverage, etc.
The content of this course was excellent and thought provoking. Thank you for developing a course that provided concepts that were truly worth contemplating. It was an excellent source of reflection for a seasoned professional.
More sample quizzes to challenge what has been learned would be helpful. Especially ones that reinforce the basic lesson.

After taking this course, I truthfully think we as producers should not be expected to know and retain this level of information. I probably will forget most of the details of this course by the end of the week. I have always tried to remember where to find information rather than memorizing the information I have read.

The parties and courses of action in this particular material dealing with subrogation would benefit from more contextual clarity in delineation of those parties and courses of action in the course material.

It was obvious that the read-it-to-me audio was done by a bot. There were a few very minor annoyances by the bot. First, the way it pronounced "subcontractor" was off. And late in the course there were some headings that had minor errors, such as a period between words, and the bot spoke the word "dot."

Had to call to get my account re-set up. Went smoothly, signed in and took the online course.
It would be nice if you built in time in the courses for those who learn by writing to be able to take notes. My company allows us just the amount of time that your course states it will take. I found that I had no time to take any notes during this class.
I took the course in about 2 hours and then had to wait an hour to take the test. Maybe slow the course timing down or make it last longer with more content. We all get it that the course never matches the state timed requirement, so maybe there is a work around or addition needed.
This course was one of the most difficult that I've ever done on WebCE.

This course was very interesting. I learned a lot about insurance fraud. The exam wasn't too bad and some of the questions were basically using common sense.
Quality product and delivery
As someone who does not do subrogation in my position, some of this was difficult to understand. A little "wordy" at times. SO thankful I had a few opportunities to retake the test!

I found it interesting that even though the content was read to me, I finished the course material in just over four hours. Unfortunately I could not take the test until I had reached 8 hours so I basically had to do the course twice.

Out of all the courses I've taken this year, this was the best for the inter-actives. Course was very detailed & answered most of my questions on home sharing; also on rentals. I only question why companies put "partners" or significant others as named insureds rather than using the endorsement.
auto-play would be nice. at least in between each section or quiz. I understand having to be actively involved, but there were so many short audio files it got annoying to have to hit play for every single one.

Some course aspects overly complicated and duplicative. It dove too deeply into concepts that could have been stated more simply and concise. The information basics itself was useful.
a lot of the reading did not make sense. Luckly I've been taking these test for many years, it would be better if the writer would be more clear about what he or she is trying to teach.
WebCE is a great way to complete all my CE courses for my 2-20 license, but I've noticed a few typos on the last few courses I've taken. For example, the material will say there are 4 exclusions but only 3 will be listed, small stuff like that.

The questions were hard to find. You had to put in your own words to find the answers. I had to look up some of the answers to the questions to see if it would be the correct answer. Took me longer to complete because the way the questions were ask.

The course is too long, making it difficult to remember and apply most of the key lessons.
I think the voice audio should be more animated and lively. I work full time and I have a 2nd job that I work full time driving. The read to me definitely helps when i am tied up with multiple tasks. but sometimes, It was a bit monotone, and hard to grasp. I am more of a hands on learner, so sometimes switching back and forward every few slides with different voices, male, female, ethic, etc. Would make it alot easier to grasp and wont feel like a run on. I am thankful for the time it allows. When I didn't quite register something well, or wasn't confident in what I heard, i would simply replay it of save my spot and log out until I can devote my attention to the screen. Very convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Loved that the speed for read to me audio can be increased! Didn’t like that I had to reapply it every new section. I wanted to review the chapter exams to prep for the main test but couldn’t open them again, allowing that would be nice.

most sections of the course were difficult to understand because of trade lingo. Most of the lingo was minimally defined, and, as a result, the course was difficult to follow unless you were an attorney or seasoned subrogation professional. The tables, which were easier to understand, were minimally included in the tested material.

this course had way to many questions that are considered claims questions and legeal questions as an agent I don't have to know that detail as I am nto the legeal arm of the carrier. The questions were also not easy to answer as you had alot of questions that had answers that varied by 1 word. CE's are not suppose to be like testing for your 220 and this CE sure felt like I was retesting for my 220 and claims adjuster license
The audio was read by a computer voice, and it reads like an emotionless robot. It would be easier for auditory learners to listen to a well spoken human reading it with proper pauses and pronunciation. Thanks
I did not care for the mention of Donald Trump, but this may not be something everyone has concern for; I just don't find that he acts or speaks in an ethical manner - he says a lot of hurtful things about other people and that's just not nice.
Based on course materials, some information tends to appear repetitive. Also, it would break up the reading to have a detailed video exemplifying the material.

The content was very dry and could be presented with some inflection to make it more relatable. Some areas were covered as if the class was for attorneys and not insurance adjusters.

After using a computer for the completion of the first couple of chapters. I then Used a mobile device to complete the rest of the course including the final exam. In using my iPhone mobile device, When I logged into Webce.com to continue the course, I found it very difficult to find my course! Frustrating experience to say the least! Consequently, Logging into the course was not an easy experience. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course. Thank you Webce!

I have taken Ethical courses in the past and the ability to re-read through and go back and forth through the teachings. I found myself wanting to read sections even though they were not part of the exam over again. It made me want to build on my personal excellence! I may have arrived a 3 but found self-esteem, knowing now more in detail what I must do in order to project my personal values, of who I am, what my beliefs are grounded on, and how I can demonstrate a higher degree of judgement, and promptness as an insurance professional.
When the search feature is used & multiple options come up, having a "go to" button, similar to Word, could be useful. As opposed to just scrolling thru looking for the highlighted verbiage. Great tools tho
The questions submitted for last 2 sections were ambiguous not clear and not direct as to the ability to answer the questions. This is the shit I did not like about your organization. Your company outlines what the prospective of guidelines are then we must guess what the answer is. This is bullshit.

This cleared up a few fundamental questions I had about waivers of subrogation, especially in construction contracts. Very, very helpful, and high quality teaching.
While the stories were entertaining, I got very little from them relative to the course requirements.
Some of the questions were very vague and were not clear on the specific context of the scenario. Otherwise, questions were comprehensive and related to the course.
I've taken many courses with you guys and this was by far the hardest to understand. It seems as though more examples could have been used to make clear the info that was being presented.
This chapter would have benefitted immensely from additional examples. Perhaps an attorney who specializes in subrogation would be able to read the material efficiently and with minimal effort, but certainly not the case for layperson. This course's content was shortchanged.

My employer sets up my Continuing Education- I've found other vendors to supply adequate materials, in shorter version, reasonable for someone who doesn't directly handle such policies. We are given 4hrs to complete the session, while adding the audile Read-To -me functionality since I last took this course- greatly assisted, it simply can't be done in 4hrs. Please check Exhibit 7.2 Coverage C Sub-limits, each category items seems to be listed twice. I enjoyed the new updated from 2022, such as Cannabis Exclusions and Endorsement.
The robotic voice of the reader, is a major distraction.
Maybe switch off the voices in the reading to make it a little more interesting.

Your course states the following: "Water Exception Certain parts of the general property water exclusion that apply to surface water (water that runs, stands, or accumulates on the ground) and water below the surface of the ground do not apply to loss by water covered under the exceptions to the mold and “wear and tear” exclusions. For example, assume the insured’s foundation bulges and expands as the result of water below the surface of the ground due to an underground spring on his property. At first glance, coverage is precluded under the Section I water exclusion. However, coverage for this loss fits into the allowable exception; thus, coverage applies. Again, this exception applies only to surface water and water below the surface of the ground. It does not apply to any other causes, such as flood." The above statement about the spring goes against my understanding of 18 years. Your course later states: "The third water exclusion pertains to water below the surface of the ground, including water that exerts pressure on or seeps, leaks, or flows through a building, sidewalk, driveway, patio, foundation, swimming pool, or other structure. These other two paragraphs appear to conflict with the first paragraph. If I'm missing the point, it is at least confusing, and you might consider rewording. Exhibit 7.2, Coverage C Sublimits has duplicates. Question 49 has a typo on answer A. Question 33 appears to have 3 correct answers. Question 44 appears to only have incorrect answers. I selected the fishing boat and got the answer correct, but your chapter 7 appears to allow for the increase of special limits on watercraft.

The course was relevant to the topics. However, all the other references were appreciated, but not explored due to time constraints. I see it as additional information. Most people are just trying to do what is necessary to complete hours to be in compliance with state regulators.

Of all the courses I've taken, this is so far the hardest one. This was more like a subrogation course for lawyers instead of one an auto adjuster could follow. It might better be a course for someone getting certified in subrogation.

You folks need to redo this subrogation class. You have to be an attorney to understand what you are trying to get across. This is more like a contract law / business law class rather than a class that should be offered to an adjuster. Really a poor job on this class compared to others Ive taken here. professional excellence through ethics and values should be a must course for everyone! it is a very thought-provoking course.
Overall, this was good, however I found the "Wikipedia" reference to be in poor taste. That is not a credible source and not something that should be cited in an insurance CE class, or any CE class for that matter. Given that literally anyone can go on this website and edit its content, you simply cannot use this as valid source for much of anything. I highly encourage the author of the course to replace that reference with something more educationally sound.

Occasionally there are insurance exceptions and contradictions with certain coverage types regarding exclusions, as well as proximate cause and ensuing loss clauses where the contradictions, and exceptions are listed on separate pages instead of together, leaving , occasionally , 1 page to contradict with a further page without an explanation of the rules or order based hierarchy applicable activated insurance clauses or language.

It has been a few years since using WebCE, but I found it very easy to use and will definitely sign up for more courses when needed.
1) Provide a little more spacing between sections and 2) Make the end of chapter practice questions more interactive with the chapter content - you answer the question and if you get it wrong you are automatically linked back to where the correct answer appears in the chapter.

I've been taking CE courses and exams for over 30 years. This is one of the best experiences I have had so far. I appreciated the layout, ease of use, clarity and organization of the material and feedback on the quizzes, the ability to go back and check content during the quizzes and the ability to skim or skip over some of the material and go right to the next section if I'm confident in my ability to answer correctly - it allowed me to rely on my experience and save a lot of time. Course was extremely tough and I told others not to do it especially those who do not have a commercial insurance background. In addition, Web CE needs more available courses. To satisfy the L & H requirement, I have to repeat a course from 2 yrs ago due to the available credits.
I learned a LOT from this course and recommended to my team. I will certainly refer some of my clients (Retail Agents) to this course. Like the examples.

There was an overemphasis on Builders Risk policy interaction with Subrogation. It was obvious in the course this is mainly targeted at Risk Managers and Contractors but being from an Insurance Company, I have a new understanding of why there is so much confusion on in the industry related to contracts.

This was a lot of detailed information that required focus and re-reading of information to understand the legality of the subject.
The course content presented in a "story based on fact" format was in fact enjoyable. I retained a great deal of information and the read was interesting.
I enjoyed reading the Ethics course because it was not just focused on what is ethical and what is not. The material broke "ethics" down in to multiple categories providing information about how and why ethic codes are created, what it takes to be an ethical person, working with ethical businesses and organizations.

The course name under claims was not what I expected. I thought it would be focused on actual subrogation process in a claim, not waiver of subro or recovery. I would suggest a name change to Waiver of Subrogation (How it affects recovery efforts)
make the test shorter. As an adjuster, we do not get taken off claims to complete this. So a shorter test with lest questions will always be better.

there was one diagram in this learning session that tied the words on the left to the words on the right by connecting them with lines. it was very difficult to follow the lines to which one it matched up with.

I did not think there could be that much to understand about "ethics", but found the test reinforced what I thought I already understood it to concern after all.
If I remember right, this course was categorized in Personal Lines group. However, it was mostly about commercial lines, builder's risk, workers compensation, etc. More so than personal lines.
Some sections were to long. They need to be broken down a bit since this is a subject not many know much about.

The only reason I am not likely to recommend the course is because the topics covered are not generally handled by the same type of claim adjuster. For example, my position is handling auto claims, so the commercial subrogation information was difficult to understand and not applicable to my position.
This course was billed as w/c subro but most of it was construction related - it would've been helpful to have known that going in so I could've chosen something else. Also, the test questions were very convoluted and difficult to understand - I ended up reading most of them several times before I could even guess at an answer. Having more simple "what is X" type questions would be helpful

Subrogation is a complex subject. That being said...WAY too much legal jargon in the course material. We're insurance agents not lawyers. Need to make the content easier to understand.

In section 5.5, the exhibit’s title "Providing" waiver of Subrogation was incorrectly labeled in the box categories of “Pro” and “Con”. The title indicated “Pros in requiring a waiver of subrogation” instead of "Pros in Providing a Waiver of Subrogation". Similarly, the subsequent box reads incorrectly noted, “Cons in Requiring a Waver of Subrogation” which should have been properly labeled as "Cons in Providing a Waiver of Subrogation". Both titles are used when the boxes of the exhibit list are discussed in more detail. Admittedly, this clerical error did not distract from understanding the pros and cons providing the waiver. The interactive visual box to ensure the understanding of providing the waiver subrogation enhanced the understanding of proper application. Nevertheless, I just thought you like to know about the clerical error.

There are a few typos and punctuation errors that are not major but in a few instances can throw off the intended meaning of the question and/or its answer.

Ethics hmmm! the products are written in a way that can be construed as protecting the owner/shareholder. The rules are sent down by governmental agencies which are suspect in their ethical behaviors. Insurance is nothing more than a gamble and those machines are rigged.

I did not like the reading option. Many pronunciation mistakes and the lack of intonation made it difficult to listen to. Much better, and faster, when I read the text myself. Self-reading also improved comprehension, as I could go faster or slower on my own pace.

This course is easy to use and is very planned out.
Its pretty standard content, I liked the idea of the read aloud audio, but it read much to slowly for me, I ended up using my mac capabilities to read the text at a speed that matched my reading speed. It also would have been nice to be able to access the course outline without having to close out the course.
"III" should be read as "Three" not "eye" "eye" "eye" and "IV" is "Four" not "Eye" "V" are some examples. There were some other words miss-pronounced.

If there is a direction in the middle of the page and it says pause the graphic, the program does not give you enough time to get to the top of the page to pause it and when you have to resume play it returns the audio to the top of the page. Otherwise everything else was good

During the portion about respect, it was said that eye contact was a sign of respect. I am autistic, and I wanted to point out that it is a very neurotypical workdview to say that and it does exclude neurodivergent people who have a hard time with eye contact. It has nothing to do with respect.

This was one of the best courses I have taken.
Since this is the CE product supported by my employer, I will continue to use this platform. I would appreciate more interactive modules to build memory while reviewing the educational material.
Could use a thorough edit. Portions like "Polarity" and "Character Development" seemed very tenuously related to ethics in insurance, while other parts like the "difference" between trust and trustworthiness seemed a bit silly and incorrectly framed.
More student interaction throughout the lessons. Don't wait until the end to do a quiz. Check for understanding along the way!

When searching for phrases for the test I got a lot of no results. Trying to figure out the right key words to put in the search was frustrating.
I wasn't aware of the drop down to select only insurance adjuster courses and had to consult with a representative. Lat time I ended up with agent/broker courses that were not my field.
I feel like I would have a better understanding and scored higher if there were videos explaining scenarios of what we are learning. So having short clips with characters for each chapter and topic would have been more entertaining than reading through the chapter.
I think your product is great
Offer example from various insurance functions beyond claims and sales.
I like the auto play audio feature and the ability to review what answers were correct/incorrect. I do not like the computer voice/audio reading the text. It is difficult to follow and understand at times. I would prefer video with the ability to auto play the next slide/chapter without having to click next.

I think you should make a course like this for all of our public officials. They should be required to take it annually.
What i liked most about this course was its relevance to my personal development as an individual. It was interesting to review the qualities that reflect character and integrity in the context of our current political climate and what constitutes groupthink vs individual responsibility. “The happiness of every country depends upon the character of its people, rather than the form of its government.”
