What I didn't like about this course is asking personal perspective based questions leaves a lot to possibly be mis-interpreted, I think it would be beneficial to the success of others when the topic of ethics comes up to keep questions fact related, clear and concise.

On the top that shows how much of the training you have completed, it appears to not be based on how long each section is, just how many sections there are. If that is the case, please adjust that. To have one section take 1 minute and 27 seconds seem to be a similar completion rate as one that is 12 minutes skews the percent completed.

I liked the mentioned resources and examples to help create my own code of ethics; how to handle referrals and questions to ask for suitability.
Read Aloud voice is out dated and monotone. I have worked with other courses that have instructors reading and sometimes presenting the information to us on video. More interactive multiple choice type mini "tests" or interactive videos within the coursework. I will say that if a producer is on a budget and needs CEs, this was hands down the best deal. The content is up to date and through.

The material was good in the lessons themselves. I think the questions were far easier than a lot of the content in the lessons. I would encourage including some deeper questions AND adding the ability to retake the chapter review questions. The videos were a good include and would make for great descriptions of examples if more were incorporated into the program. Unfortunately, none of the interactive activities were operating for me (i was using Google Chrome). A lot of the diagrams that were provided weren't particularly helpful. Specifically the one illustrating the sub-accounts. That felt especially unnecessary.

There was one question in the first test (I think) where the correct answer was shown as the obligation to provide coverage for the client. I think you should add if the client is insurable. One cannot be obligated to get coverage for someone whose health makes them uninsurable. FWIW, sh

I have never encountered the requirements for a proctor before. If I wanted to be inconvenienced with this concern, I would have went to a physical center to take my tests. It is extremely inconvenient given the strict criteria of not using someone in your family or in your own business practice. Very few people are left.
The read it to me audio was a bit monotonous. It could have been replaced with a real human reading as the machine reading is not sounding good

First, if this course was supposed to be a course on Regulation Best interest - why was over 2/3 of the course on annuities and didn't get to Regulation Best interest until the last 1/3. Honestly, I spent more time on the tax ramifications of an annuity. It could have been done with more consideration toward best behavior and serving clients with their best interest. Maddening.

Hi, I would encourage WebCE to place a reorder button by the courses that the customer has already order in the previous year. Instead of having the customer to go hunt for the courses again, there should just be a button beside the listed course that says, 'reorder'. Sort of like what DoorDash does for its customer (LOL). Other than that, all was great :)

The read it to me audio was a lifesaver while reading along: 10/10. Fix the auto start of audio, it worked probably less than 10% of the time. Also, save the user selected audio playback speed. That broke all the time as well.

Even though I passed the exam, the exam chapter questions and final course exam questions were amongst the most difficult exam questions I have ever taken. I would not recemmend this course.
I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.

I was able to access and use Web CE on my phone and the audio was very helpful for studying. The interactives were hard to use on both the computer and the phone, but especially on the phone. The audio is hard to start on the phone but does fine on the computer.
Some of the material was redundant. Having the test questions recorded for listening would be a plus!

I DO like having a narrator read the content to me. However, your AI narrator is awkward. I could list dozens of examples where he got things very wrong. Whatever you paid for this AI deal, I'd narrate it for you for HALF of that. And read it with proper inflection. One exam question seemed to have no correct answer. The one regarding death benefit of an annuity for which the joint annuitants had received $50,000. $100k invested, grew to $235k. No mention of whether the $50k was annuitized payments or simply withdrawals (so BEFORE annuitization of AFTER annuitization...?) But overall, this is a well-constructed course.

This four-hour course took WAAAAY longer than four hours to complete. Good information, but it should have had a higher value than four hours of CE credit.

appreciate this course was well laid out, covered necessary topics, and provided relavent examples. It did not repeat things over and over or spend excessive, unnecessary time on simple topics. Much better than other CE courses I've taken in the past
Nothing to add about the course. This is likely my last time to renew my license due to age. However, if for some reason I do I will again use WebCE for my continuing education.

This course, for whatever reason, ran smother. The voice reading was slower than the others for some reason. It was easier to focus on all questions. I learned a great deal.

Need additional courses in ethics, LTC 4 hr and annuity best interest -- offer two in required subject matter so that I can easily take the course in the next renewal period and alternate courses so that they are 2 years apart.

It'd be very kind if you had a real person reading it aloud instead of the weird robot voice. The robot worked better for me than reading it myself, but just get someone to read it for real. The robot's inflection and literal approach is distracting.

Some of the material about the annuities seemed to be very repetitive and it made the course feel much too long and tiresome. I would try to reduce the redundancy of some topics if possible or make the redundant topics more interactive to make it more engaging to avoid getting bored and annoyed with the material.
Toggling back and forth to and from the audio is a pain. To include back and forth with the video examples. Scientific names for the various ethical theories is not at all useful in everyday acts.

The chapter tests were entirely too frequent.
Honestly, it took me probably six plus hours to complete a four hour section. Some of it is to much in depth with taxation but I can understand why it's necessary.
Course spent way, way, way too much time on nonessential and unnecessary history of how LTC evolved. This could have been summarized in one or two pages. No one needs to know that to use the products.
I liked the tables and the course flowed.

The read-it-to-me audio was a great feature - I just wish it was done by a voice actor and not a robot. The robot makes all sorts of pronunciation, emphasis, and timing mistakes that make it hard to understand.
The voice over could be better. He talks fast without natural pauses and can be hard to follow.

The only negative is the AI read it to me voice. It is very annoying and not usable at all.
It was easy to tell that an AI voice was used for the narrating. Unfortunately, the articulation, inflections, and tonality of the presentation didn't keep me very interested in the information I needed to know. The presentation was simply too bland.

This was an 8 credit hour course. It was excessively long and mundane for its purpose. Listening to the provided audio took well over 12 hours start to finish. The course included way too much information to be useful, learn and retain. This should be at least 2 courses, it not 3.
There were a very few words the AI narrator mispronounced.
Advocate works with Health Insurance agents. I felt this information was basically geared for life insurance and annuity sales. It would have been nice to be more health insurance content.

Navigation system (UI) isn't very good or very clear as to what I was looking for. Course, I was a first-time user of this web site. Other than that, the content was excellent. Especially glad that there was an option to keep the audio off. I personally prefer reading and absorbing the material at my own pace.
Although not necessarily universal, I prefer this format over reading a pdf file.

The Math for example calculating the taxable percentage and payout of a non-qualified deferred annuity in the annuitization phase was a little difficult to follow. I feel like walking through the math would be good before asking a question about it in the chapter review.

I would prefer if the audio and words moved in tandem.

Why are variable annuities part of a course for agents that are not securities licensed?
I'm sure WebCE must address variable annuities as a fulfillment of bureaucratic stipulations, but I know ZERO insurance agents with a securities license and have only met a few in nearly 20 years of insurance work. Thus, making a substantive amount of material entirely irrelevant to most insurance agents.
It was very difficult to find the correct course. I did the online chat and they had me call.
The test was too long 80 questions, I think the longest should be 50 Questions

The course is great. I have a background in data science, i have written over 700 neural network models. The website is extremely difficult to navigate and I had to have customer support get the information for me.
It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.

The computer generated voice read too fast and pronounced certain phrases awkwardly. It was off-putting.
I expected the compensation transparency to include the CAA disclosures required under federal law for health plans.
I am primarily interested in the hybrid LTC products which were not covered very well.

The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that

For the Annuities course way too much emphasis on the tax issues--Making decisions or part of decisions that involve taxes is inappropriate at best. The advisor /producer should recommend specific tax questions be answered by client's own financial advisor. I have been working with client and annuity products for years. Even if advisor is a CPA, in the selling roll we were prohibited from giving specific tax advice. some exam and quiz questions are incomplete in terms of in detail . I got the answer correct, but the questions can be written to include more than 1 possibility when there is more than 1
Once the proper course was located, the rest was very easy. Also, getting a copy of the PDF is very helpful to keep it on file.

Everything about the course was great and it gets you to the finish line efficiently and effectively. The only downside is that the AI voice is very boring and it is easy to lose focus cause there is no inflection. If say there was a guy and girl reader who switched off, it would keep you much more engaged and be easier to focus.

Prometric is a very poor service for remote proctering. I had to call a friend in to come watch me take the test, AFTER Prometric took money from me two or three times.
The timer runs slower than my watch. maybe its a connection problem, but its annoying.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.

I liked that one could return to the course and pick up from where they left of. I also liked that I could pause and reread without there being a timed-out where I would need to log in again. The timed-out was only when I left the program for too long. The "Read-it-to-me" feature would be appreciated by some people I know as that is something they are comfortable with.

It was a very long course and a little repetitive for me but it was good. The beginning was confusing when it asked for my license number and renew date because it also said skip this step but I could not take the exam without it so you can't skip it

Not the fault of WebCE, but I find it preposterous that an adviser seeking to fulfill silly CE requirements is forced to sit for 3 hours when he/she could have passed all quizzes and exams with 100% correct answers in 60-90 minutes. What's more important, putting in time, or knowing the material exceptionally well???

From my experience using WebCE, I found it highly informative, easy to learn the materials, especially, with the Read-it-to-Me audio, the practice your knowledge interactive videos, and the practice chapter questions. I enjoyed using WedCE to fulfill my educational and training requirements. There is really nothing that I can offer to improve on my encounter with this program.
I enjoyed the audio and the interactive videos. I also enjoyed having an exam at the end of each section to summarize that portion instead of a longer exam at the end. I felt I was more engaged and less anxious with not having to look forward to an extensive overvall exam at the end.
I like that some of the chapters were short taking into consideration the subject.

The only reason I rated the quality of content and effectiveness of presentation was there were redundancies in content and in general the content could have been more concise. It was wordy at times and could be more to the point.

In the sample knowledge test questions, at first it was not obvious that there would be a popup to move to the next sample question, i.e. it appeared that there was only one question in the particular area of training, at first. It wasn't until in later sample questions I inadvertently moved my mouse over the question area that it instructed me that there were more questions. Consequently, I had to go back to the previous study material to get the additional questions. You should just have an arrow, or something else, under the first question, that always shows.
Time for this class was much longer than the credit given.

The Read to me feature is very useful, however it pauses at the wrong places making it hard to comprehend at moments. Sentences seemed to run on at certain points unless I was following along word for word I would not fully understand what it was reading to me. This is a minor issue overall the program was great.

The animation of the videos were at an amazing quality. The text-to-audio AI almost ruined it. It would be great if there was a real person narrating the videos/slides.

It would be beneficial to have to have videos with a person instead of someone reading.
The course is already very good! One suggestion would be to expand the discussion of telephone scams, including some of the common narratives used by the perpetrators.

Like most tests of this sort, there are a few questions that provide answers that are not completely accurate or too vague. When it comes to tests, the wording of questions and answers needs to be 100% literal, not allowing for ambiguity.
1. Not sure if this is just my iPhone… but please fix the “[State] Course Time” in the top right from glitching inside the paper on the “Print” option. 2. This course should not be $15 when people can go to ExamFX and obtain the same course for $7. Other than those two, this course is a great source of information. I’m not too picky on the whole “Mobile UI” thing.

It took longer than the 4 credit hours to get through the material. While there is a lot of information to cover, it's discouraging to get 4 hours of credit for something that took 5 or more hours to get through.
I am usually a good test taker as I know my material. You had questions on the exam that were not in the material. I know because I went back and looked at several questions I could remember that i know missed and it was not in the material
The only thing I didn't like it was the monotone voice. I hope the voice was more lively.

This course was a little difficult to follow. Not fort the content, but it was just a script being read by an AI voice. It was a bit hypnotic and sleep inducing.

The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.

I purchased through SureLC-Surancebay. I started the modules, then when closed my computer and resumed, It was hard for me to get back to the modules. I didn't realize that I needed to separately login to WebCE.

In my opinion, reading material aloud is not the most effect way to train. A more interactive video presentation would have been more effective.
The course design with the multiple chances to take quizzes help the learner master the needed content.
Some of the course material, especially on the actual long term care specifics later in the course where redundant, hard to follow, word salad sentences with ineffective syntax and generally confusing. Parts of these chapters would be better understood with a careful editing or rewrite.
As I answered earlier today for my Annuities test: The information reinforced what I learned in my recent Life, Health, and Medicare/LTC ExamFX and XCEL prep courses and the exam themselves. The large font was especially helpful for me. While I chose to read aloud to myself, I know others who would benefit from the audio portion.
I thought some modules were too lengthy given the complexities of some of the information.
I have just take my Health and Medicare state exams, and my Life exam not too long ago. All of the info in this course reinforced what I learned studying for those exams and introduced me to new topics that were easy to understand. The large font was helpful to me. While I learn best by reading aloud to myself, I know people who would benefit from the audio option.
Can you make the reader voice inflect like a human? The flat reading didn't always follow the sentence structure, which means the sentence wasn't always clear.

The narration wasn't that good, it was robotic which at times was difficult to understand the meaning of what the narrator was saying, e.g., run-on sentences, no voice change to end a sentence, etc.

I liked the mathematical examples the course gave when it came to the variable annuities and fixed annuitization.
Some of the buttons to click to access questions or other info were dis-proportionally small and not readily understandable.
The interactivities were very helpful. I always find they keep me engaged and helped with the learning experience
it is obvious that the voice is computer generated. Simple words are mispronounced and the pauses or emphasis on words is awkward.
The course is good, but the narrator should slow down just a tad bit while speaking and put emphasis as needed for better instruction.

Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.

The question regarding tax treatment of annuities is horribly written. You should specify "what is the tax treatment of principal and interest ... (during accumulation phase or at distribution/withdrawal). Additionally, not all indexed annuities have an interest crediting portion.

While I appreciate the content provided for this course, the required time for the course (4 hours) turned out to be more than 4 hours. Besides the final exam, it took about 12 hours to read along and take in the material and do the practice quizzes. A 4 hour course, should not take longer than 4 hours to complete. There's got to be A better way of setting this platform to only 4 hours worth of study and testing. This was like being punished just to fulfill A requirement. It was 3x the requirement. Please change this! I do NOT recommend it to anyone. This is my first time using your platform. Hopefully, but respectfully, I hope I can do my requirements on my favorite continuing education provider's platform who I will not mention here. Thank you!

For being only a 4 hr credit course, This took FOREVER to finish! Took me almost or over 4 hrs! This was A LOT of material to go over, and extremely overwhelming. The solutions for a lot of the math, when it came to figuring out the numbers for the variable problems, were not clear. I still don't understand how some of the percentages and other values were determined. Pretty frustrating. I'm actually surprised that I got 100% on this test.
I am so glad to see the user friendly changes on the site. It makes me anxious to take the other courses now inlieu of dragging to it. I am glad to be back here. with WebCE.

I went through the course at my own convenience; quite easy to understand
while the read to voice was nearly natural it still contained the "computer generated" voice qualities. this was, on occasion, a bit distracting. Still the read allowed as I follwed the text was VERY helpful thank you

There were multiple sections where information was unnecessarily repeated, almost ver batim, to the point where I briefly thought I may have mis-clicked and was rereading a completed section.
Although interesting, I think the Life insurance section may have gotten to technical regarding the type of policies, terms, taxes etc.
I would have liked more help figuring out the math, as I had trouble with the questions that needed math to answer.

The answer in the Annuity Design section of the questions pertaining to the crediting of interest at the end of each interest crediting period of an FIA was incorrect. The only effect the minimum guaranteed interest rate has on interest crediting is at the end of the total contract period. At that time in total interest experienced from the performance of the FIA is compared to a simulated application of the Minimum Guaranteed Interest Rate. Whichever is greater is the amount credited. That is why some periodic statement where the FIA interest was negative, that the beginning balance and ending balance are equal, barring may fees subtracted (i.e. rider fees). Please regrade my exam and issue an amendment to reflect 100%. Thank you.

Example: If an insured names minors as beneficiaries, the insurer might require that a guardian hold the policy death benefit proceeds until when? a. The minors were married b. The minors reach majority c. The minors are past age 30 d. The minors are retired I believe the answer is b, but majority should be maturity

The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.

There is very little emphasis on the fact that Medicaid does not cover long term care expenses for most people outside of a Nursing Facility setting, so home care assisted living care and memory care for most is self-pay.
The majority of the product was very well done. I found it t be very flexible in navigating based on my needs and daily schedule outside the course.
Question # 16 misleading. Can only choose one answer. The interactive tests are very difficult to read in the little two toned boxes.
You could break up the reading option with other voices.

The AI audio could use a little improvement, or use a real person. Emphases on words and word pronunciation lacked in a few areas, not enough to cause issues, just needed to go back and read myself a few times. Overall, very helpful.
I passed all the sections but some of them were very challenging and it took me many tries because I couldn't fully comprehend some of the tricky sections, like taxation, and numbers sections. But overall I was able to gain a lot more knowledge.

The questions on the final test, were not in the course study. Many questions did not make sense.
Have been in the industry for 28 years. Half of the material in this course is VERY advanced for most life insurance sales professionals. Would suggest removing some of the detailed material on Life Insurance in Qualified Plans as an example, and replacing it with other material.
I found this course to be very insightful and I did pick-up some new information that was helpful. I really like the feature of the materials being read. I have been using WebCE for several years and I like the pricing structure.

Size of each chapter and percent completion are not directly proportional. Some times 2 minutes chapter and 6 minutes chapter, both are leading to same amount of incremental increase in the course completion

I've always appreciated the digestibility of your content, how simply you are able to teach and explain concepts and that your exam questions aren't meant to confuse the insurance agent taking it. It just seems ot be somebody reading to you. The questions at the end of the chapters were nothing like those on the actual CE exam. Kinda crazy that with an LTC license all the questions were about partnership plans and so little was reviewed. I barely passed.

I'm not sure why there isn't a grandfather clause in this annuity continuing education. I could take the exam and pass easily without going through 4 excruciating hours of content that I already know extremely well.

I think that since this course is SPECIFIC to Oregon, that the phrase used "most states..." should be followed by "in Oregon, yada yada". That would be helpful. I am not convinced that this course adequately covers the topic in a way that "new producers" will be able to understand what their obligations are, based on my experience as a producer. However, I do not intend to represent or sell annuities EVER. I did want to understand what this is all about and I did learn quite a lot of information that was new to me. Thanks!

The content is very long, for someone who is new in this business the terminologies are quite hard to analyze. The exam questions were long and hard to understand, some of the questions were not directly from the content that was covered. Thank you.
far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.
As a first time CE user, I was confused as to what I needed and wanted to make sure what I had chosen was correct. I called in and was guided through the process easily.
The course was very good in content and structure, I just felt it was too long considering our CE covers this content as well Thx
The only thing that I didn't like is that after the read to me audio would finish, I didn't have an option for it to automatically go to the next section.
the monitor is not available all the time

1. You have to keep on changing the volume level each time you move on to the next page. 2. The search finder sucks. It will not take you to the highlighted section.
The monitoring process is more difficult than the study or the test. Figuring that out took longer than the course.

It seems the explanations used to describe all the features, benefits, differences between policies, the explanations regarding taxation of insurance products should be made clearer and easier to read. I found I had to re-read the information multiple times to clearly understand the taxation criteria in particular. Try to further simplify this information.

Can't complain other then I have to keep taking these same basic courses to keep my license for selling life & health insurance and annuities. I did let my Securities licenses go in 2023 after 40 years. It just got to be too much of a pain.

On the Annuity exam, there is a question asking "which of the following are not the common modal annuitzation payout methods" and it list 4, that are the common ones. There is not a choice that is Incorrect, making it impossible to get that question correct.

Rewinding the audio was a little challenging. Also going back to a chapter started from the beginning and not where I left off.
I really like the audio feature but both my coursed had times where the video froze and I had to read it.
The autoplay feature didn't work. Annoying to always change the setting for speed of play for every individual section. The audio play buttons didn't always work well.
For a one hour credit course, it was challenging, took a lot of time and asked 1/2 the number of questions for one of the 4 hour courses I completed. Very eye-opening.
This course was actually quite interesting and informative. It filled in several gaps in my understanding in the difference between fiduciary and best interest in regard to the regulation. It also put to bed some Industry fears of how the regulation could pratically work for insurance only licensed practicianers. (My only critique would be to have two courses---one for insurance only producers and one for insurance AND Registered Reps / Advisors. The reason is that you waste 3 or 4 questions for insurance only licensed people by including the variable stuff. Plus, it implies that perhaps the insurance only rep can talk 'variable products". I realize the Regulation says otherwise, but the insurance only rep might wonder why the other is included. Plus why learn what you can't use or even discuss. I would go with the two courses, as opposed to the one with extra variable questions. It is a waste for the insurance only producer and probably not enough for the variable (registered rep /or Advisor). I offer this critique as a former Series 7,6,63, 65 and 24 Registered Rep / Advisor. Otherwise, a great and informative course. Thank you.
On the Taxes section providing more videos with actual examples would help more.

The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".

The basic logistics of 16 chapters in 4 hrs comes out to 15 minutes per section which is essentially logistically impossible unless you are zipping through every single quiz without having to read or reference a single page of material. This course clearly should be a 6 hr CE credit course. I've breezed through far more comprehensive certifications and classes in far less time than I spent on this.

It is an hour credit course, but some of the bullet point sections within a few of the units were unnecessarily long. 12-14 min slides just turned my brain off on occasion because i knew id be stuck on that slide for awhile knowing I had more to go. Maybe consider breaking them up. It would create more sections, but it'll seem easier and less stressful to complete than doing those longer ones.

On need for monitoring tests, I would state that reaching out to a local libraarian woiuld be a great suggestion for a monitor. I did and it was perfect, my experience with librarians is they always ask if they could help you. In the crazy world we live in that is a comfort.
The course actually seemed to take quite a bit longer than the number of hours assigned to it. I certainly had to spend more than four hours to complete this four hour course. I wish the hours stated would more accurately reflect the actual time needed to take the course.

The Chapter quizzes were instructional as well as knowledge checks!
Overall it was great - for my personal learning style, videos and interactive activities are more engaging but with the auto play audio, it was a nice blend.

I liked the little snap shot questions. Having even more ways to be interactive would be really helpful. You need to help maximize the different learning styles.

There were many times when the read-aloud content was distracting because words, numbers or symbols were not stated or pronounced correctly. A real person reading the content would have been better.

I loved being able to read at my own pace, and change the playback speed on the videos. I also felt that all the "mini-quizzes" and end-of-chapter quizzes were extremely helpful to make sure I had absorbed what I read. This has been probably my best CE experience in the past five years.

Having completed far too many online courses to count, I found this one to be significantly above average in terms of quality of content and method of presentation. I felt I was able to maximize my learning, comprehension, and retention of material with this course. I would have no problem completing more courses here.
Maybe I have no patience as I am so busy with work and family life. The questions were so over worded and were written to make you feel incompetent. By the time you figured out the complicated one's I can see how I missed so many obvious. I don't drink but this one here may just push me towards that Apreol of many! This is why there are so many complaints out there against agents and financial planners, speak plainly. Learning Latin was easier than decoding some of these questions. I kind of wish I had taken the 1-credit Best Interest annuity update course instead of the full Annuity Suitability course, but I needed the CE credits for other purposes in addition to the state insurance requirements.

Variable annuities are, by nature, a complex and potentially confusing subject. This course has been the best, so far, for my understanding of them.
Needed help from customer service. Course I needed wad FL based but the system only allowed me to sign up for a TX approved version. She helped me and all was well.
The test questions were not all answered in the reading materials.
Navigating was a little challenging. Got to last chapter & then all of a sudden, I was back in Chapter 5.

Please all course content in video and/or audio form without the need to constantly click "proceed" ... further, allow for one to set a default speed (ex. 1.25x) for all content, and stop requiring such selections on each page. Finally, several of the questions asked on the final exam were not covered in the course content.
The voice for the read to me audio was HORRIBLE! I couldn't listen to him, so I just read everything.
This was fine, however, I do prefer it when you use different voices, for the audio, throughout the module; the variety helps increase engagement as well as retention.

It would be nice to be able to adjust the audio speed -- I like reading it and hearing it together to increase retention, but the reader was much slower than how quickly I can read. Allowing it to adjust to 1.25 speed or 1.50 speed would be nice. In the end, I ended up turning off the Auto-Play about 1/2 way through and completed the course at my own reading pace.

How effective did you find the presentation and format of the course material?... Specifically to Florida Long-Term Care & Medicaid, chapter 11, it was not worded well / clearly. It had too much of a legalistic wording style to it, whereas the national Long-Term Care & Medicaid was easy to understand.
The voice recording and content is bland and easy to drift off from.

The AI readers was not natural but sufficient. If the objectives were the goal, the quizzes and summaries didn't reiterate them well. There was a greater emphasis on the exam to determine a situation, which I agree, but that was not the objective. Overall, it was very helpful in gaining an understanding of LTCI but definitely took longer than 8 hours.
Negative questions on the exam were often confusing.

The audio narration is the main reason I prefer WebCE. Audio information is easier to absorb than purely written information.

So complicated!!!!!! This course should come with some sort of warning. I spent at least six hours on this course and I skipped most of the last two chapters as it was way too confusing. This course needs some Recent prerequisites, like already knowing what all these types of insurance are. At the very least it needs to be organized in a way that is easier to follow instead of continually jumping back and forth. I feel like this should be more than 4 hours. Honestly, it should be about 8 hours, including some more content to make it easier to follow.

Having to find a monitor for the exam was extremely inconvenient. I realize it's a state of Colorado requirement, but in my opinion, it is unreasonable given that it is a short and relatively easy exam.

Visually, the online course needs a little variety, maybe a little more color ... spacing and more bold type for titles and change of topics making reviews a little faster to find the desired topics.
This one hour course took too long. Well over an hour.
I liked this course was easy except I had agents calling me thinking they can get me as a client, I am a agent also and all my phones are on DNC sorry to say that but they sure interrupt me and if I do answer they start talking and don't stop!

The course material was great. I definitely feel I have a better understanding. My only draw back was the audio. The computer generated voice doesn't always read like a human would. It also is very mono toned and can cause me to lose focus.
I felt very prepared after completing the course which is evidenced in my passing grade!

Very well done course overall. The only issue I have is that when listening to the read-it-to-me it is difficult (sometimes confusing) when it is reading section headings or bulleted lists since the auto-generated voice has an unnatural element to its meter. Additionally, I found that the four-hour and the eight-hour approximate time was off by a factor of 2; four-hour course took me six or eight hours!

Dive into Medicaid was very lengthy-maybe excessive relative to rest of subject
I like to listen to the audio at a faster speed. I was able to find this tool when viewing the course on my phone but was not able to find how to increase the audio speed (reading) on the desktop version.
The reader's voice was very monotone. I like having the moderator however the flat tone is like a lullaby.
Thought that there was way too much information in the course for what is really required. Repetitive pieces made it longer to complete. Test was simpler than expected based on the complexity of the information in the course.
Shayla was extremally helpful, she helped me to see that my number of CEU's was less than I realized. If not for her heads up & kind assistance, I would have been short by 1 CEU on the deadline which is today to submit the required hours. GO SHALYA!!

"It is not subject to current taxation: funds accumulate on a tax-deferred basis within the contract. Only when funds are withdrawn are they taxed." - This is not always the case. Contracts collaterally assigned must pay tax on gains as earned, even if no distributions are taken.
This is the best course I've taken in the certification process in the life business. Very easy to understand and was comprehensive. I didn't fall asleep doing this!

for a course on suitability and best interests, there was too much math involved in the exam portion. Having taken the CFA program, I used a calculator as much for this exam as I did for the CFA exams (proportionally)
I liked the quiz questions because they were real world relevant to day to day field work. A lot of the information in my last course was quite esoteric and very detailed and although good to know, the average agent won't use it or could use the other professionals required ie. accountants and lawyers.

I found a mistake in the Glossary. The FINRA definition should read “An independent, nongovernmental organization that writes and enforces certain RULES FOR CONDUCT OF investment-related professionals and firms,” All Caps words added by me. I am not sure if what they write and enforce should be called rules or something else - I'm just reporting that what is there does not make sense without an additional phrase.

I usually find the annuity courses very boring but this was excellent and I will highly recommend it to my colleagues. The examples and the videos were extremely helpful.
Most of the time, I didn't notice, but, in the future, you may want to consider having a live person record the voiceovers.

I liked the clear, succinct writing that went into this course. The interactives also helped. I was amazed at how the information was conveyed so clearly. I liked the negative examples. (why a specific annuity wouldn't work in a person's case ) I like the use of bullets. I am a big bullet writer. I think it helps people remember information rather than a long paragraph style. I also liked that the information was very relevant and up to date. I've taken courses in the past where that wasn't the case.
The course was what it had to be per the new laws, It was easy material, but the training is a complete waste of time for a professional in the industry for so many years. I learned nothing new and there is not enough content in the course for the required 4 hours that MN dictates you need to remain on the course. So after you complete the course in 1 hour, you are stuck clicking to refresh the screen for the next 3 hours to make the test available. It's all a complete waste of time and does not provide any benefit.
It was very boring. There were many times I felt like I was listening to the same information twice and I was very long.

The only way I can think of to make this course a little better and absorbable is to have some interactive checks on learning. Showing how you pull the data from the questions and apply them to the correct answers. IF that makes sense. Mainly for the questions you would use a formula to answer.

Youre questions are literally paragraphs. Its kind of bullshit that we have to read 50 pages of the same nonsense weve already learned and then read paragraph questions. 30 fucking paragraphs for one test is dumb. I will only use webce again if you manage to simplify these exams. the two hour course was half spent reading questions and thats terrible. I felt like i was reading the fucking harry potter series with these q and a's.

The "aloud" option was very monotone. It put me to sleep several times and I had to go back and "re-do" sections. Aside from that, the course was pretty good.

The biggest issue I have with this course is all the education on Variable Annuities. I understand maybe needing an overview but those are for a Series 6 or 7 person. You had a ton of test questions on a product that a life insurance license doesn't sale and it was a waste of my time!!

It is difficult to listen to AI reading it when it is not trained to emphasize italics, when it switches from "ten thirty-five exchange" to "one thousand thirty five exchange"; mispronounces "analyses", and runs sentences together, especially when a sentence ends a certain way, such as with "Exhibit B".
I get that you really only have so many options for the audio in the "read-it-to-me" category, but there were several times where the AI narrator just messed up basic syntax, and was down-right excruciating to listen to. Otherwise, good stuff.

I like the new read-it-to-me audio and the video contents in this course. They're very helpful in helping me understand the topic much better and helped me retain the information of the subject matter.
Being able to adjust the reading speed of the read it to me audio really helped. However, it would be much more user friendly if there were more speed choices and in smaller percentage increments. The difference between the 100, 125, 150, and 175% settings is significant. Maybe allow for 5 or 10% increments/options.

I think incorporating more hands on learning activities would help with information retention. It was a little hard for me to follow a read and listen format at times although certainly read, listen and do are all effective learning methods when combined. I suppose the practice questions help us with the do part. Maybe giving the option for immediate feedback on the practice questions would be helpful.

The grammar needs improvement. There are continuous split verb phrases. It is awful. For example: She could also be going there - wrong. It should be: She also could be going there
It would be better to provide more story problems in the study material if it is to be a significant portion of the exam. videos were very helpful. Keep the questions straight forward and avoid trick questions.

The AI voice is not quite there yet. Many of the audios had it reading a 'PDF end" or other instructional codes. And it's reaction to punctuation or grammar is off.
The course had too much of text and history that could have been simplified a lot. It felt like a drag than 4 hours course. Too much to digest and feel like it complicated the opportunity to learn

Annuities courses and licenses are Rarely needed with a basic life and health license. As a business owner, most people need to know the laws, best practices and ethics more than anything out there. This material and examples are vague and generalized.

I appreciated the simplicity of presentation of content. Questions on sample test, after each chapter were helpful. I passed the course after an intense 4.5 hrs. last evening. Followed by today's finish of Chapter 10 & 11, then taking the exam only once, for a 75% score. I must admit, I was please that I absorbed enough to answer 75% of the Q's correctly. Thanks a Million!

Very good material. I take lots of notes to read over to help me in my daily activities.
Your timer is very slow. It added 30 minutes to my class time. Additionally, since the test is part of this CE time for testing should be allowed within the 3 hour requirement. This 3 hour class took me about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
I liked the ability to reinforce my answer with an immediate content review, search content by chapter. Excellent reinforcement.

originally signed up as i needed suitability course for TX, but then wondered if i could use it for my resident NC license. I called you, was told if i transferred the course reporting to NC, it would also satisfy any non-resident state that required that same course, in my case, TX. So rep transferred it before i did exam. I appreciate your knowledge of these matters and ease that she was able to transfer course, so i didn't have to take it twice. Thank you!
This was longer than 4 hours. Other classes I took were pretty close to the time listed but this one was much longer. I would say it should be given at least 6 credit hours if not more. These annuity details can get very confusing.

The videos helped to aid comprehension, and the interactive questions made for good reinforcement. The last time I completed CE through webCE I actually saved screen shots of the humorously bad content and recommended to my superiors that we drop WebCE as a service. I could not do so with this course. WELL DONE and thank you for taking steps to improve the quality of your content!!
The section about that references the Pension Protection Act doesn't include the reference to Section 1035 in regards to the LTC exchange.
The course on MA and LTCi took me 6 hours to complete. Very long . Frustrating too.

The test on other courses don't need to make you feel like you're taking and ACT! We are just attempting to renew our license and most of us Agents do not sell products or advise clients. The test do not need to be that hard. Not this particular course but others that I have taking the test more than 3 times.

This was the best CE course I have ever taken. The content was well organized and very informative.
Easy to get through in less than 3 required hours.
There was too much information that did not directly MATTER and was NOT important for knowing for annuity best interest sales. For example, we don't need to know so much about the history of the regulations.
I thought it was very well done. It was just like the pre-exam for the state licensing test I took for the life health and annuities in regard to how it was mentioned earlier and reiterated for memory retention.

When you have questions after a section is completed, the :Next Question" bar should be more visible. I kept choosing the "Continue" bar and went to the next page instead of proceeding to the next question. I would then have to het "previous" and scroll down to the questions and start with number one of 3 again. Kind of annoying.

Our firm used the name of the test or licensing. It would be good to affix a course # to each in the catalog so we can easily plug the number in and get to the course we need to take.
WebCe has been my go to for CE for years. Great content and refreshers.

Material on actuarial costs was hard and usually not in a producer's need to know but given by the insurer.

Always make the questions on All TESTS easy to understand and evaluate, in order to answer them properly, to avoid any confusion(no trick questions). The idea is to learn the material properly because we as salesmen convince the client(owner) to purchase the contract!
It was difficult to arrange monitoring given the restricted classes of monitors.
The course review questions in the PDF content have no correlation to the actual questions on the test

I could literally argue every single question in this test! I got almost all of them right on the first try, but it doesnt matter. These are the worst questions in the history of tests. i would literally pay someone to call me and talk to me about it. I took pictures of all of the questions. Seriously, someone needs to be fired for calling this shit english.
I loved that I could read instead of waiting to listen to audio. I much prefer reading. Also the course worked efficiently, there was no lost lag time waiting for screen to catch up..it was practically perfect!

With the Text to speech, the course did not last 4 hours. It lasted a lot longer.
I think that content relative to VA's is a waste of time for those who will not be selling those products.

Using the Interactive and videos was difficult to get back to the course after the video played. I was using my Android Mobile phone. I had to exit out of course and then log back in to get moving again.

I was unsure of some of some of the finer distinctions between the various annuities and had to re-read the material. Over all, it was easy to focus on the topics and figure it out. More mathematical examples would be helpful.

The shorter the corse the greater the factor of time versus hours needed to complete the material. Thus class took me over 3 hours of study to complete
I didn’t love the fact that each page was only like a minute and then wouldn’t move on to the next section automatically. I feel like I spent a lot of time hitting next and resetting the speed on the video that I liked when I could have just been digesting the information. I suspect this is to keep people from just “pretending to engage the content”, but honestly feel I would have had a better experience if each section was an individual page so I could take the content like 45 minutes at a time without it being broken up by non-essential work to get through the content.

The process, from a producer's prospective, in regards to ensure proper licensing and mandatory CE is completed, is very convoluted. Third party companies should not be part of this process and certainly should not profit from the requirements set forth by the states. These cost should be covered by taxation and professional fees.
People learn differently. Personally, I'm better in a classroom or virtual instructor setting. But since I'm forced to complete CE's online, this is as good as it gets. Thank you.
TEST question have too close of the correct answer. Almost the same. It was not completely clear what the correct answer is like. I also do no like what my hours credit is for this long study and test. Should get twice the number of hours of credit.
Based on the content and time spent the value in hours should be at least 6 maybe even 8 hours.
I would have preferred any materials regarding variable annuities not be included because I do not sell not am I licensed to sell variable products.

This course was well-written. It made me think about the things I want to incorporate into my own personal Code of Ethics. I appreciated the audio option a great deal. I'm glad I tried it! I really liked the short videos of scenarios illustrating the previous content. They helped the content "stick" in my mind, and clarified the content. Also, the video narrator had fantastic diction!!! Quite pleasant to listen to; I even began to anticipate the next one.

There was way too much information not needed that only was confusing, the math throughout the course and charts, this could have been a lot shorter and explained without all the confusion extra information.
This course is for life and annuities and is the closest thing to an ethics class for health. For those that do not deal with life or annuities, having to look up life insurance terms makes this class much harder than it should be.
Signing in to WebCE each time was not easy. I had to call every time for assistance.
I used the pdf version. I didn't understand it when there was a message to return to the online course to review a case study. I think the case studyshould be included in the pdf text.

Not being able to print out the training was a problem. However, I was told this was due to an NC require that you cannot control.
I found this course to be very clear and informative. The auto/robo voice read the content according to the punctuation, however not the tone and was sometimes confusing, however by reading along with the voice, I was able to understand the intended meaning. Was it just me, or were the sections longer than the intended 2-4-8 hours? However long, the sections were worth working through as I did learn more!
I found the course to be redundant. Since it was a "best interest" course, making only 25% of the content relevant to the main topic advertised in the title was a little frustrating.
I like taking smaller courses (1 or 2 hours) vs taking 6 or 7 credit hours. Too long and hard to remember all of the content.

This course is much too long for 1 credit hour. The content could easily be one chapter and a test. (This is the price of your success; your courses take too long to complete). The automatic filing with the state and 24/7 printing of certificates are great features, but your courses are now too long versus competitors.
