i like the read to me option

The time limit is not right.

The time requirement was brutal. I can read 4x faster than the reader, but due to the time requirement, I had to sit through redundant information course after course. Each new course had very little "new" information.

I would love some more interactive components such as videos or audio on some of the sections. Otherwise, the information was very well worded and I like how it gave real life examples of language you can use with clients.

WebCE is user friendly with additional areas that help you to learn the material. It provides options like autoplay to not only read but listen to the subject matter. There are videos through out the chapters to give a visual to learn the material as well.

Absolutely loved this course! It was a blessing because it answered MANY of the questions about annuities that I had been wondering for a while! I thought the content of the course was excellent and have already told fellow life insurance agents about it. For me personally, it would have been nice if the videos had some background music, but the videos were excellent in general. Also, the audio helped me learn but it did pronounce many terms incorrectly such as DIA and certain dollar amounts, such as -$35,000_. This was definitely the most worthwhile CE course I have taken

Seemed to be a lot of questions I did NOT recognize from the lesson material

I dislike the length of time it takes to get through some of the sections while reading and listening. some had 18-22 mins and if i forgot to the space bar instead of using my touch screen, the course timed out for inactivity.

I wished I had not selected this course. It was way too intense on the financial calculation side for a specialized product.

Chapter four could be broken into smaller sections for readability and conciseness.

The times you have set up for the testing or I should say chapters are a pain in the butt. I’ve taken these tests every two years since 2012. It doesn’t take me anywhere near that long to read and answer the questions.

Some of the questions, particularly the ones about IRAs, were poorly worded or required the user to make assumptions. For example, you gave only AGI and filing status and then asked if they were eligible to open an IRA. Um...I don't know. Is any of that income earned???

The content was useful, well-written and easy to understand, but WAY to long and REPETITIVE! Example: There's an entire module on "Disability", then in the "Types of Insurance" module, it repeats the "Disability" module in its entirety. Thank you

You really need a proofreader for this course. There are several typographical errors, and at least one factual error (on a test: A person who has an HSA and enrolls in Medicare in May should stop their contributions in December of the previous year.)

I was having issues trying to get into another class. I was not ready to take the test, but it would not let me start a second class even after I clicked the save and exit button.

the auto read voice goes too fast between paragraphs. Maybe have the recording read it like a person instead of a robot computer. AI can do this better now in our time.

I dislike having to sit or requiring "seat-time". Students should be allowed to move through the marterial quickly, especially tenured students and take the final exam as soon as the student feels prepared to do so.

There was an outdated part regarding the full retirement age reaching 67 in a few years. There was an incredibly poorly worded question on the final exam, the only question I missed. Other than that, the course was good.

One quetion was incorrect. It asked how much the Medicare supplement policy would pay if in a foreign country and had $1000 medical expense. The answer was listed as $800. This is incorrect. There is a $250 deductible, then it is 80% and 20%. So the individual would have to pay $250, then 20% of $750, which would be $500 for the individual and $500 for the Supplement company.

Medicare Coordination with Employer Health Plans is the hardest course relating to Medicare that I have ever taken. Thank you for the clear and precise explanations that you give in the course. Even more, you provided interactives, videos, and examples that were vital to understanding these topics. Thank you for offering this course! I cannot believe that I have sold any MA insurance without taking this course. It should be a part of any program to train someone who is going to be involved in advising people regarding Medicare and MA. Thank you for enabling me to more prepared than I have ever been before!

It is easy to use this online course every where (home or office) whenever I have time to study. The explanation on how to take the exam is clear and easy to follow. The option of "save and exit" the program and come back anytime is very helpful!

Course is outdated in terms of generational reality in 2026. Also has outdated info on life expectancy and % of seniors who have sufficient retirement savings. Other than that, it's good.

I especially like the self pace CE Classes because I like to take notes.

Subject matter presented clearly. However, the bias is definitely toward annuity sales. For example, the case of buying the immediate annuity vs DIA didn't analyze that it would take the DIA purchaser to age 87 before his annuity payments matched the 60 YO purchaser. RMDs should be considered in the guaranteed income section of the balanced retirement lesson because they must be taken annually.

This specific test was WAY too long and material was repetitive. I've had a license since 1993 and there should be other options other than 6+ years in the industry. The State of Florida needs to give more credit based on years of service. This course ate up an entire day.

The HSA requirements and questions are much more difficult on the practice exam. I would say make the questions on the final exam regarding HSA a little harder.

I like the format of a self-paced pdf vs being forced to listen to content which forces movement through course material at a specific pace. I like the fact of knowing that the exam can be repeated if I fail. I found it a little hard to locate the pdf at first. A few of the exam questions were not clear or caused some confusion.

This course was written very well. Therefore, it was easy to understand.

Very good. Perhaps a bit more by way of math examples for us that are not math oriented, but no complaint. IE not sure I would have been able to answer the Exclusion question in Annuity Section.

Recommend more frequent knowledge check exercises. A better way to navigate to the exact place to find the answers to the questions instead of having to search through the entire chapter to find those answers.

I think it is counter productive to have someone sit there and wait until the 3 or 4 hour time period has passed before taking the exam. I should be allowed to take the exam and if I pass It then I should be allowed to move on. I do not see how this would benefit the agent one way or the other. If you do not know it you're gonna read it If you want to pass. I do not believe those who know the information should have to sit here and wait for your time frame. When I could be doing something more productive with my time.

Annuity requirements for CE from Sates are a little confusing when there are multiple States

I don't like the requirement to be in the material for a certain amount of time.

The content of this course was WAY too much for a 7 hour course. The content was good, but it was way too much. The Health Insurance portion wasn't really needed and it was so general it wasn't useful. Lastly it didn't even talk about health insurance for retirees under 65 which is THE major issue with health insurance for retirees.

I found that the course covered many important topics, but the explanations were not very clear. I had difficulty understanding, especially when answering the questions. However, after a few attempts, I passed. I appreciate the opportunity to complete the course at home and at my own pace.

I always use Webce. There are a variety of courses and they are easy to navigate.

Wonderfully clear material. AI voice narration could be better with large dollar amounts and homonym pronunciations.

A way to pause the narration audio that does not require the big jump to the top of the screen you are looking at presently. Some type of a side button control on the screen would be helpful to pause and restart the narration audio.

The structure of the course needs a revision. There was a lot of redundancy in the early chapters with information in each that would have been more appropriate being together. Chapter 4 is too long. It was as if the author had decided he wanted no more that 4 chapters and then crammed a lot of important information in the last chapter.

Objective should be to teach as well besides testing. Answers which are incorrect, should be told so one can go and check the correct answer.

I loved the charts that showed the complex rules of who pays first, Medicare or the group plan. I printed them out and will refer to them in my conversations with clients. The same is true of the Cobra and HSA rules, great information! I appreciated the many examples, written and shown in videos for understanding these complex rules, especially for retirees, disables and ERSD eligible individuals. The course was engaging and highly profitable to my practice in the overall education of health insurance, and particularly Medicare topics.! There is information that's misleading in the course. A roth 401(k) is a cost effective option for someone. They don't have to start a Roth IRA to have a Roth deferral option. Technically a 401(k) has several different buckets of money - Pretax, Roth, Employer match, Safe Harbor - all 401(k), just different buckets. A question on the test asks a question that doesn't reflect this properly. You can't compare a 401(k) vs a Roth IRA as the 401(k) likely has a Roth component, especially now with the new catch up rules for Highly Paid Participants.

There were two videos and four examples that didn’t load correctly. There was some misleading information. The course said, “If the individual signs up for both Part A and Part B at the same time (and with the same effective dates), he or she can then elect to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan,” but you do not have to have the same effective dates to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan; you may sign up as soon as you have both Parts A and B.

Some of the questions in the summary quiz and probably in the final test were actually wrong from the presented material. Someone messed up. That was a LOT of information that was presented in a confusing format. It could be put in a more easier to understand format. Clearly, whoever put the information in was not in touch with the information and they messed up on several questions that I looked up. So the questions and the material information does not match so it doesn't give an accurate assessment of one's abilities. And who knows whether the test scores are accurate. Didn't like this section's presentation at all.

In one of the earlier classes I completed the Part D information was not updated for 2025 and 2026 situations. I recommend that this gets corrected, since the coverage gap information is no longer helpful at this time. Thank you.

Do away with testing

I don't like the required time for this course. I'm a fast reader and had to stay on an additional 30 minutes on a random page to get credit. it's a huge waste of time since I have other courses to complete.

I do NOT like the pre-determined you must take this amount of time to read the course before you can take the exam, says who! I wasted a so much of my time just sitting and waiting for the course to reach the pre-determined time needed. This part I hated and really makes me not want to complete another course. I am fast and have been in the industry sine 1993 so I know most of the material but there are sections I do not deal with on a daily basis and therefore want to read, the amount of time it takes me should be up to me not somebody else’s problems. Really not happy about his part and you can tell because I rarely give this much if any feedback but this just annoys me to no end.

I wish the Read-it-to-me audio voice had a little more inflection. Sometimes the reading voice is too flat and monotone. Pauses between sections and inflection of certain words would make it that much better.

Can we all stop using AI voices to read this complicated material. more often than not I find myself having review the information for a second time because listening to a robot who has little to no reading comprehension just doesn't work. This information needs to given by a human.

The question about Linda and long-term care. I don't know what the right answer was but I selected Investment Horizon. Client's education level is important because, while they may be successful, understanding LTC concepts and terms can be confusing to people not versed in financial sector 'terminology'. The other two choices seem automatic.

Once a concept is explained I liked a when a specific example was shown.

Under the acronym section, I believe if there is a “period” in the end of the text of each acronym description, the AI voice would pause. If you listen to the AI voice read this section, it is very hard to listen too and read at the same time. Just an FYI.

All of the questions are updated to include current real-time info. The questions are not unclear, though sometimes I have difficulty with the "Except" and "Not" questions. That is just me needing to read more clearly. Don't change a thing,.

Annuities are really complex. The beginning of this course was an excellent, clear explanation of the basics. It got a little too detailed toward the end. But overall, very good class for a non-life insurance professional.

There should not be a minimum time to take the exam. Since this is a CE course, the material is mostly review. I read all the material and passed most of the practice questions quickly and it made me wait another two hours to take the exam.

The 12-hour course is really too long. Perhaps it could be approved for two 6-hour courses.

The only complaint I have is that you made me to be in the course for the entire 7 or whatever time , I find it is to be counter productive

There are a few annoying typos and syntax errors in the course that could be cleaned up. It reduced my enjoyment only slightly.

You have an error in the "Glossary" of the 2 credit hour course I just took. I can't remember what the error was - but I know it's there. The error is a number. It may be the number of days for something - but I remember it's a number of some sort.

The health insurance segments offer NO consideration of how to manage health care costs for retirees UNDER the age of 65. I think there are many strategies to consider to minimize taxes and health insurance premiums for early retirees that should be included.

I hate having to be in the content for 3 hours I read the whole class and passed the mini quizzes in 1.5 hours and just had to hang for the extra 1.5 hours

In one of my courses i failed and i have been trying to go back so i can retake the mini exam so that i can get done and it wont let me,

I have two criticisms of this course. One, someone must edit the content as well as the exam questions. There are an inexcusable number of grammatical errors and at least 5 of the questions are poorly worded and do not take into account all the facts needed to complete the exam. For the record I scored 100% but many people could be tripped up by errors and exclusions in the wording of the questions. Second, the content is clearly biased towards annuities as a whole being great products. Like any investment they should be carefully considered before being recommended.

The pre-existing question should be more specifc. PECE is normailly 3 mths, but in states like NY,it is 6 mths.

This is a great study course for getting your CE credits.

The time to stay on each subject matter is ridicules most of the tests are common sense, if you have had your license for awhile, like me i briefly look over questionable passages and go directly to the tests.

I scored low on last exam. I usually score high. Maybe provide videos over content that I missed. I will review material also as important to understanding

The examples in the course were not clear. In particular, the example for Initial Enrollment Period (IEP).

The timing needs to go away. Especially for those that finish before time.

The addition of the minimum course timer will make this the last time I use WebCE. I completed the course in less than half the time and had to let my computer run to move on to the next module. I don't have time for that and I didn't learn anything while I just let the timer run. It is nonsense.

Exam questions on RMDs are a little misleading... Asking at what age to RMDs start - 73 is accurate for some ... but age 75 for others depending on their age.

In the middle of the Chapter 5 course helper, during the test, the example of how Exclusion Ratio applies has a spot "Video" but there is no video. If the intention is to remove the videos from the Course Helper, please remove the place holders for the videos.

It would be very helpful if I could know what the correct answers were to the questions I got wrong.

I really don't understand why there is a required time limit needed in order to gain credit for the course. Not sure if that is just through state regulations but it is super tedious for someone who has renewed CE's multiple years. It's a lot of waiting around for nothing.

Course materials are clear and easy to understand. I like the examples of situations the courses use.

I believe the man speaking is AI but he is soooo monitone, it made it difficult to stay interested in the material.

Probably a little too much focus on examples that *aren't* the rule, and not enough on the rule itself.

A few of the questions are a bit unclear/misleading, but the overall experience was good.

Due to the complications of annuities, their structure and taxation, tables and illustrations were quite helpful. Lengthy written out descriptions and examples were just confusing.

I got actual value from this CE product. I know there is a lot of jadedness towards CE in the industry, but this was legitimately worth my time.

One BIG improvement would be to be able to access each set of Chapter questions for review prior to the EXAM. There's a lot of material covered over days, and it's challenging to retain this amount of information without the ability to review summarized questions at the end of each chapter. Thanks!

The test was a bit too easy. I would have liked to have been challenged a bit more.

The total time minimum is absurd. I get the premise but it's annoying and would dissuade me from using WebCE again or recommending it? This isn't defensive driving. If I can absorb the material faster, why should I have to stall on this just to make some stupid regulators happy? This is not the solution.

One point was unclear to me. The content said that when an employee ages into Medicare and elects Medicare coverage, that is NOT a qualifying event for him or any dependents to elect COBRA coverage. However, the COBRA chart that was included clearly states that ageing into Medicare is a COBRA Qualifying Event. Which is correct?

I like the sound of the voice, but I do not like when words are pronounced incorrectly or when there is not proper pausing. It is very distracting.

the audio voice didn't stop at the end of sentences sometimes. it just bulldozed onto the next one without even taking a breath to let a person who may NOT actually be reading along know a new sentence was starting.

WEB CE is very helpful for agents to me CE requirements.

I used the read it to me feature and I still have about an hour to spare before I could take the exam. What am I supposed to do with that time if I have already gone over the information?

There is a problem with the embedded videos - none of them loaded at all in any section - glitch - said not authorized to host video. I used the pdf to get through.

Always have anxiety taking test! Always a challenge. But you made it user friendly

Question 4 on the test described a baby boomer and their friends financial concerns during their future retirement. The two potentially correct answers included seniors running out of money or working during retirement. What is stupid is that we don't know the subset of these friends and either of those answers is very likely. I believe this may have been the one question I answered incorrectly. My recommendation: Either give additional information to base the friendship base or rewrite it completely.

With the amount of time 30 hours and my daily life I am very happy because if i give myself the advance time I'm not rushing to learn but learn or brush up as I go along.

I have been doing Medicare for over a dozen years, but some of the material about COBRA unique circumstances were challenging; nonetheless, good content and I am glad that I enrolled in this course.

This course spent too much time on the financial advisor aspect, and not enough time on the health and life insurance aspect.

I really would like more courses pertaining to ethics for health insurance agents; Affordable Care Act courses; Special Needs plans including HIDE and FIDE as well as Chronic Special Needs Plans since these plans have a market where I sell.

The 50 minute minimum things is very annoying, and it seemed like the clock was very slow.

I really would appreciate less emphasis on retirement products and more emphasis on health and life insurance products. I am taking these courses to renew my health insurance license. I do not foresee becoming a financial professional in the near future. Thank you!

Possibly easier way to monitor exam. It was not easy for me to find a 3rd party monitor, so would be helpful if you could offer an online monitor if possible.

I found this content easy and repetitive. How many questions need you ask about defined benefit plans for example to ensure an individual understands them? It would be nice if you provided a scale on the CE like beginner, intermediate and advanced content so I could actually select material I might learn from vs simply review. While review is important, more challenging content helps contribute towards mastery.

While the reading material and examples were excellent, I was surprised that some key vocabulary words were not on the exam. The exam questions were more generic in nature. A combination of the two would have been more fair in my opinion. :>)

This course was So So good. It was very well laid out and detailed in some fascinating areas that all financial professionals should be aware of, study, and certainly practice. With the increase in the senior population percents, now is the time to have a good grasp on this topic.

The course is fine. Its logging in and choosing the courses that takes time because when you pick one course it takes you out of the system and now you have to log back in then pick another course and again it would take me out again and again.

It would be great if we could get a human reader...and maybe slides or videos.

A video would be great for the COBRA, Employer Coverage and Medicare interaction, I have come across that with clients.

I recognize that classes have to be tailored to a wider audience, but I wish there were a way to get more in-depth ethics classes for my requirements. I don't think I got a chance to learn very much, since the class was 95% surface level material.

When taking the exam there seems to be alot of "trick" questions. I don't like that. I spend way too much time on one question second guessing myself.

Clear and concise course!

I LOVE when I can choose a package! Every 24-hour package I chose stated I had done at least one class, so I had to do an alacart selection of courses.

Some of the questions were worded funny, which made it difficult to answer properly. For example, plans that stated they began in the middle of a month when Medicare plans start the first of the month.

Some voiced words mispronounced or not emphasized -- like a heading. But overall very good. Thank you.

not a lot of examples to better understanding

I do not like the way the reader reads the material on auto-play. It is read like a robot with no intonations and makes it hard to understand. So I chose read mode majority of the times.

a couple of the questions and answers needed more detail to answer correctly ie: #19 - answer did not state the child was dependent, nor did it state the employee had family coverage.

quite a few slides did not work with audio, the short video played instead, very inconvenient.

this one took over an hour longer than it said it would which makes no sense to me as i took 2 others at 3 hr and 2 hrs that were on or under that time limit.

I learned so much from this training! HSAs and Medicare & Employer Coverage & Medicare are often confusing.

I recall that some of the modules of this course are only worth one credit. Requiring the participant and the proctor whose time they need to impose on, is inefficient to say the least. Why not combine these small pieces into a single module requiring a single exam?

Nothing to add nothing to take away. I'm a senior myself and understanding the language means a lot to me.

The exam's 135 ?s was very daunting and a bit unrealistic. Also having the # for the questions I got wrong would have enhanced my learning experience. I kept track of my answer on a spreadsheet and would have liked the opp. to see how I answered vs the correct answer.

Audio was terrible, i had to silence it. Very monotone.

This course was comprehensive in explaining how the coordination of benefits and most don't understand it's about the primary and secondary positions.

For my CE classes I always use WebCE. The new rule passed by the State of Tx to me is not a good rule, I know WebCE had nothing to do with that rule. But I have been in this business for a long time, this particular course was not that hard to me & only took me 40 minutes to complete, some of the other courses might take me longer than the allotted time. But as agents, we should have free reign to take as long as we need to take to complete these sections & test or vice versa. If it takes longer so be it, if we finish quickly because that particular section is easier - that is o.k. also. But we shouldn't be made to be on a particular section a certain amount of time just to pass. Just voicing my opinion which I know will not matter. I only sell Medicare/Medicaid - not life or long term - so I went through this section quickly because it is what I do on a daily basis.

What is up with the required time where we can't take a test until the required time elapses???? I've used WebCE for years; no thanks for my next CE requirements.

I generally dislike interactive features and prefer good material clearly presented in written form with a good breakdown. This course did a wonderful job of presenting the text and I appreciate that a lot.

In the Health Insurance for Seniors course i think there may be an incorrect statement regarding part A benefits. You state that a person discharged from an inpatient stay has 60 days of coverage. My understanding is that the 60 days of continuation from discharge is ONLY for the same medical event, not a new one. Other than that, this is the first CE course in 15 years that I have enjoyed, and copied segments for future reference.

The content is very common sense for advisors who have been in the industry for any time. I could have passed the exam without sitting through the 3 hours - Every year it is the same content because there isn't really any changes. I know the regulators require it but maybe that will will change soon.

So easy to read and the audio is helpful when my eyes got tired. I love everything about this program!

Requiring the exact time for each session is ridiculous. I hate it.

I'd limit the word "ingratiate" when describing the benefits of a certain behavior to improve a relationship with an elder client. Otherwise the content was quite good.

Final two Modules were too long

This course, Medicare Coordination with Employer Health Plans, was extremely completed with COBRA and HSA and all of the rules, who pays first, timeframe of when decisions need to be made. Just rather overwhelming. That is not the courses fault necessarily other than the fact that everything moved so fast through the course. Maybe more examples? I don't know exactly what would help the most - I must admit, particularly on HSAs, I already recommend that they member speak with their financial advisor!!

The way that everything was stated in the lessons was too complex, almost as if intentional for the sake of failing others. Lessons should be clear and concise, as well as comprehensible.

I have used Web CE since I started in the Industry 14 years ago and always come back for my CE's. Excellent program.

Course time is ridiculous! Supposed to be 2 hours credit / 1:40 total. This course required well over 3:20 hours if you listen to entire thing! Should be 4 hours credit. Credit hours need to be increased or course time reduced. Had the opposite issue with prior course, ACA and the Basics of Health Insurance Exchanges, 4 hour course (3:20) that only took about 2:30 so I had to sit on computer for extra 50 minutes to meet the time limit and take the final exam.

I really like WebCE, it easy to use.

This specific course could use more content to cover a full 3 hours. Most courses take me longer to complete than the stated times but this one seems pretty short for 3 hours

I have used WEBCE for years and find the content good and the ability to go through the material easier on this ebsite.

I like the way WebCE always has clear options to complete my CE requirements. One thing, though, this Medicare course DEFINITELY takes longer than 4 hours to complete. It should be AT LEAST 6 hours/credits and probably more. There is a lot of information that needs to be absorbed. Also, I didn't see the usual WebCE comment about when the second course I completed would be submitted to DFS. If you could please confirm that all 3 courses/14 credits will be submitted on 1/27/2025, that would be great. Thanks for your help, Laura Hoffman.
