I was informed about the proctor monitoring requirements for this course after I paid for it. They have to be disclosed before, not after.

I like the audio but sometimes he pronounce words incorrectly that throws me off a bit. The way he says numbers is not always correct.
It was a little confusing at the end. I was reviewing the question that I missed and the page went away. I am not able to get the right answer. Also, I was disappointed that I am not able to go back into the course to see if there are any further instructions or information about the appendix. I did get the download of the course but am wondering about the right answer and the appendix.

This is one of the easiest online courses that I have ever taken. It was so easy to navigate.

It needs to be more interactive as reading walls of text make it hard to stay focused our minds need to be engaged with examples and read audio as the lack of these make it hard to retain the information add this and the pass rate will not only go up but the percentages at which people acquire for the examination will be higher

In the Medicaid section titled Dollars and Cents you indicated that 842 Million low income participants were in the program Considering that there are only 342Million US population, that number appears to be exaggerated and is in fact wrong. that means that more than 2x the total population of the US is on Medicaid.
what a silly rule from the State of MN to be required to view screens for 4 hours, when I can read, interpret and understand the materials in about 2. seems like it wastes time for people

Thorough, thoughtful, comprehensive coverage. 2 note: Just a suggestion on the Annuity Course Section 5.4: Add “IRS” to the sentences with “penalty” references. These are IRS penalties, NOT Insurance carrier penalties. It’s implied, but there’s a ton of info here and may be confusing to some people, as carrier penalties are discussed in previous sections. Also a ? – in Section 5.6 you state that annuities become part of one’s estate. BUT annuities have NAMED BENEFICIARIES, and should bypass probate. Are you saying that even though they avoid probate, they do become part of one’s estate? Thank you!
Long 5-hr course, but took just over 4 hrs to compete thanks to print format. Good info for someone who has written life pols for 20 plus yrs. Thanks. 1 bad experience w/another class thus lower "recommend" score - see Ethics.
The timer on the course was extremely off causing it to take much longer than what it should have been. There were several times where I would be reading over a page for 10 minutes, I wouldn't leave the page or open a new browser, and it would say that only 2 minutes have passed by. For example, it took about 30 minutes for the timer to move 10 minutes when I never left the course or stayed away from the content.
The courses are self-study which require an exam. I prefer taking classes with Instructors and not having to take a final exam.
The 8 hours mandate to take a program that takes 45 minutes was brutal but also not your fault...just letting you know.
For packages making the specific learning material better known because i almost purchased a 24 hour course material without knowing i only had to pick the 4 hour because it wasnt shown initially i only had to do 1

I know this is a Georgia state rule and not a WebCE issue, but I find the need for an impartial proctor to be an impediment. By way of contrast, FINRA does not require a proctor when completing self-study CE coursework.

For anyone licensed and experienced, the 8hrs required to be logged in to the content is ridiculous. I thoroughly read through the course, took and passed the practice exams in about 3hrs. The other 5 hours was a waste of log in time (just letting the videos run) over 3 work days.....and I passed the final exam with a 96.
If possible I only use WEB CE!

It was very informative. I greatly appreciated learning the origin of the term "underwriting." Something to fix: at the start of one of the pages, two distinct sentences were linked together in a way that wasn't immediately obvious because of the lack of a properly placed period. There needs to be a period placed at the end of the first sentence, and the first word of the following one needs to be capitalized.
There is one thing...When I am exiting the program, I should not have to go back to the beginning just to go to where I've left off.

I had one video that would not load, but overall it was an excellent training.
Required time is silly. I know that it is likely a regulatory minimum (like drivers education), but I read faster than the AI voice and would be able to complete the course in 1/ 2 half the time. Also, the material in this TX 4-hour course is virtually identical to eth 4-hour course that I completed for CA less than 1-year ago. These should be transferable between states (where possible).
I liked the overall structure of the course content and illistrations, as one who struggles with visual affects do to ADHD I would like to see more efficiently explinations with less words, though this is a lengthy subject, there were obsticles I had to overcome the avg. Student doesn't struggle with. Still Solid course!

Love the simple but effective presentation. I do personally like more interactive material (i.e. quizzes, thought experiments, hypothetical scenarios with applied concepts), as this helps me learn better. Possibly consider adding more optional materials such as this within the course.

The costs to complete the CE for my insurance license seemed very reasonable and the content was easy to access and to understand. The read it to me option was surprisingly helpful and helped me to digest the material quicker, I think.
Finding some "typos" in the materials - Example: discrete is not the word intended in 5.5, paragraph 1 "Think of the Customer" section and sentence "... information safe and to be discreet" (discrete was used instead.

I took the annuities 4 hour course. there was an Altzheimer's interactive to click on different topics. When I clicked on them, nothing happened, so, I was unable to compare those with the age related issues.

The reading aloud needs to get better. Too AI / generic to actually listen to. Need it to be customizable like google voice.
The audio was bad--it is sounded AI and lacked inflection--too monotone. I finally turned it off as it was too distracting.
One fix. The auto-play feature didn't work on my iPhone when the option appeared. Great course, and I will consider taking CE and other courses with WebCE.

The time requirement for this course was misleading in my opinion. It required about 5 hours of time. In addition, the "reading" is very distracting because the voice appears AI driven. The inflection of the voice is off putting and therefore, distracting.
Provide more options for the rate of speed of the audio reading. Make the speed option controls more evident. Move the location of the audio controls.

I took this course to market fixed and indexed annuities. Much of the content was geared towards VA, which I didn't want to know about, or be tested on.

Making me consume 4 hours for this test was ridiculous. Super waste of my time as I had 92% of the course completed in 60 minutes. Also, it needs to be CLEAR that this course is for credit - why else would anyone take this course?
The chart on page 17 was confusing. Also, the bar chart on page 7 for 2023 premiums for family coverage showed the incorrect amount for the portion paid by the employee.

I don't like being forced to spend extra hours on the course when I passed all the quizes and I already know more than 90% of the answers.
I am a slow learner and the read it too me audio is too fast and the monotone of the voice was distracting and nearly put me to sleep. The voice needs to be more interesting without influencing the listeners thinking.
Statements that Fixed Indexed Annuities have a guaranteed interest rate which credits in down-market years is largely incorrect. Most FIA's credit Zero in those years...and the Guarantee only comes into play when comparing ultimate value at liquidation.
Would be very helpful to learn which questions I got wrong and why.
It makes no sense why you can't see what you get wrong on a practice test.

I liked that when I accidentally left the completed screen wthout continuing that I didn't lose my place and was able to continue. Example: Somehow, when I advanced my screen for questions 21-25 the page disappeared. I was able to go back and hit continue and my selected answers were still marked for my previous questions 1-20. Phew! I liked being able to go at my own pace by either listening and reading along or reading ahead.
Overall I liked the course, I DID NOT like the obvious AI Voice over. It comes across as unprofessional and lazy.
to much content for the VA product line as well as part of the testing. Should be another and seperate course. Many are not licensed to sell VA and thus the training is not applicable

As a CFP, I memorized the various lists in "The Code," and I found the use of similar lists in these modules to be helpful study tools.
It's better to add the contents about Roth annuities' taxation into the chapter of "Taxation of Annuitized Income". For example, does the lifetime income from a Roth annuity have to pay tax starting at some point or tax free for the lifetime?

The course content is clear and the directions around the format, test taking, etc. are very helpful. The customer service is also fantastic as I had to call in on an issue that was my mistake. They identified the problem immediately and had it fixed in less than a minute. I am very pleased with my first experience with WebCE and will recommend them and use them again.

Good information. To long the material. You should provide review of test if fail to go over wrong answer and to get the right answer after. A lotto web site do that and people look for quick, easy and waste time. You are losing business making it hard.
The word "annuity" was misspelled in one of the videos. Also, regarding the advantage of tax deferral, it is misleading and incorrect. Annuities specifically cause the gains to be taxed as ordinary income (marginal brackets) rates. An alternative investment option would cause the gains to most likely be taxed as capital gains rates, and even those are only upon selling of the specific holdings, so the comparative tax rate isn't even the full capital gains rate, nor is it annual. These examples are typical, misleading insurance wholesaler and agent sleeziness.
My only negative critique. would be that I would like to have the option to go over the material again.

What I didn't like about this course is asking personal perspective based questions leaves a lot to possibly be mis-interpreted, I think it would be beneficial to the success of others when the topic of ethics comes up to keep questions fact related, clear and concise.
I like everything, except these two things: [1.] If want to start randomly any course you want to start you can not do that. First you have to finish 1, 2, and then 3th. You can not start 3th one before 1 and 2nd one. [ 2.] This is regarding Final Exam. AT the end of Exam there is not showing any review about correct answers. It just shows only how many you got wrongs. If no one knows what mistake he/she has made, then how he/she can correct it. or fix it before knowing the correct answers. If you could fix this problem. It will be awesome. I appreciate your time ? and support.
It would be awesome if you were credited the alloted time in the module for getting a 5/5 score or something like that where you are credited time for your good performance. It is silly to have to stay on the site if you finish early. Just plain silly

On the top that shows how much of the training you have completed, it appears to not be based on how long each section is, just how many sections there are. If that is the case, please adjust that. To have one section take 1 minute and 27 seconds seem to be a similar completion rate as one that is 12 minutes skews the percent completed.
Really hated the time lag - ended up spending an extra 30 mins on this than needed.

Read Aloud voice is out dated and monotone. I have worked with other courses that have instructors reading and sometimes presenting the information to us on video. More interactive multiple choice type mini "tests" or interactive videos within the coursework. I will say that if a producer is on a budget and needs CEs, this was hands down the best deal. The content is up to date and through.

The material was good in the lessons themselves. I think the questions were far easier than a lot of the content in the lessons. I would encourage including some deeper questions AND adding the ability to retake the chapter review questions. The videos were a good include and would make for great descriptions of examples if more were incorporated into the program. Unfortunately, none of the interactive activities were operating for me (i was using Google Chrome). A lot of the diagrams that were provided weren't particularly helpful. Specifically the one illustrating the sub-accounts. That felt especially unnecessary.
Some of the materials were challenging to understand and be able to answer the questions. I am glad there were a lot of questions which made it easier to answer.

The course pays no attention to the number of credited hours. This course took much longer than 4 hours. This makes the course ridiculous.
The required time to 'be in the course' does not show my competence in the subject. I suspect this is a requirement and not just a WebCE thing. I know this subject well. Agents time have been wasted doing this course this way.

There was one question in the first test (I think) where the correct answer was shown as the obligation to provide coverage for the client. I think you should add if the client is insurable. One cannot be obligated to get coverage for someone whose health makes them uninsurable. FWIW, sh

8 hours of required login was too much. Especially since the majority of this course overlaps with LTC content that is relevant in other states. It was cumbersome to complete, given that I have had to do this in IL, and CA all in the same year. I understand that is likely state-specific to MN. I have never encountered the requirements for a proctor before. If I wanted to be inconvenienced with this concern, I would have went to a physical center to take my tests. It is extremely inconvenient given the strict criteria of not using someone in your family or in your own business practice. Very few people are left.

First, if this course was supposed to be a course on Regulation Best interest - why was over 2/3 of the course on annuities and didn't get to Regulation Best interest until the last 1/3. Honestly, I spent more time on the tax ramifications of an annuity. It could have been done with more consideration toward best behavior and serving clients with their best interest. Maddening.

I like how the course was easy to follow and how comprehensive it was, except for the appendices. However, the course was thorough and increased my knowledge about annuities.
The minimum required time compared to the actual material was excessive
As a former senior life underwriter I noticed a few incorrect and outdated questions. One that comes to mind is about the bodily systems and underwriter would not use to evaluate a risk. You said the answer was "skin" and I immediately thought "What about melanoma". Anyway, it can use some modernization.
I disliked that I had to wait for the allotted time to complete exam. I read fast and finished under the required time needed, before going to the exam

Not sure why I had to sit through 4 hours of content, when I was able to read thru it in 1.5 hours and already know the content inside and out. I'm quite disappointed that I was forced to waste additional working hours on this. I do understand that 4 hours is required - but this is a target number, some can get it done in two hours, others may need 5 hours. In my opinion, it's about understanding the content, not how long it took you.

Great course material
The time requirement for this information is exponentially unnecessary. To force me to sit here and push a button every 10 minutes for nearly 6 extra hours (the amount of time I had to wait to take the final exam) is ridiculous. People can read faster than the estimated time of completion, as well as take the practice exams, at a much quicker pace than this requires. This was torture to have to wait to take an exam for 6 hours.

I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.

I DO like having a narrator read the content to me. However, your AI narrator is awkward. I could list dozens of examples where he got things very wrong. Whatever you paid for this AI deal, I'd narrate it for you for HALF of that. And read it with proper inflection. One exam question seemed to have no correct answer. The one regarding death benefit of an annuity for which the joint annuitants had received $50,000. $100k invested, grew to $235k. No mention of whether the $50k was annuitized payments or simply withdrawals (so BEFORE annuitization of AFTER annuitization...?) But overall, this is a well-constructed course.
I really like the way that you separate the material into clear areas and that you have the tests at the end of each chapter, as opposed to the final exam after 4 hours. I found that I was able to retain the material in my mind better this way.
This four-hour course took WAAAAY longer than four hours to complete. Good information, but it should have had a higher value than four hours of CE credit.

This course does NOT take 4 hours to complete. I was able to pass the chapter exams in 15 minutes. I scored 100 on the final exam. In the meantime I spend 6 hours trying to keep the course live and open to get the 4 hours in. Ridiculous!

I flunked many of the little tests, but made 90% on the final. Perhaps the earlier tests could be more reflective of the final exam.
The Alzheimer's interactive brochure did not work. I re-watch the entire section 3 times, even completely logging out and it still did not work. I finally moved on and hoped it would not show the course incomplete.

The course content is excellent, but the test level is too shallow.
WebCE is my only source of CE. It is always straightforward and easy to navigate.
Some of the material about the annuities seemed to be very repetitive and it made the course feel much too long and tiresome. I would try to reduce the redundancy of some topics if possible or make the redundant topics more interactive to make it more engaging to avoid getting bored and annoyed with the material.
5 hour course took me 2.5 hours to complete the data; had to pass time...wait...review what I already knew. got a 96% on the test. This is a policy run by some states that needs to change. Whoever wrote this is either a really slow learner and very new to the industry/information. Ugh!
Not everyone needs the audio. Perhaps a statement up front that the audio is optional for those who want it. But, reading the material and hitting the continue button at the bottom is also an acceptable way to take the course
Toggling back and forth to and from the audio is a pain. To include back and forth with the video examples. Scientific names for the various ethical theories is not at all useful in everyday acts.
I found the course very fulfilling and quite easy to follow.

It took me far longer to complete the course, compared to the advertised time, it wasn't accurate at all for me. The mini-test within the chapters are very helpful. I would recommend you include more of those.
I don't like that a person can't do all the courses/tests in one day. I liked being able to block my time and keep the topics top of mind...breaking it up over several days was wasteful as I had to go back and review before testing....

The 7-hour course should be broken down into 3.5 hours each. This will make it easier to understand because it's a lot of information to retain.

There was one question that I feel is incorrectly set up. It asks: What is the maximum amount an employee can contribute to an FSA on an annual basis? The answer should be $3300 indexed. It listed other choices. I chose a random one and suppose I got it correct but please update for future test takers. Thanks!

easy to use and easy to follow
Honestly, it took me probably six plus hours to complete a four hour section. Some of it is to much in depth with taxation but I can understand why it's necessary.
I liked the tables and the course flowed.
your courses are first rate and economical.
I thought some of the units were long and wordy.
The voice over could be better. He talks fast without natural pauses and can be hard to follow.
This course and the last course I took (Life and Health Essentials) , had pieces in the information that were missing. There were parts that said' ''PDF Exclude Start'' and '' PDF Exclude End''/ Also some blanks pages on the PDF or printed versions. More space needs to be provided for this field, in which comments are made, as well. Also for this course, it would have been a good idea to advise one needs a calculator. The last course I took, Life and Health essentials, never gave a screen to click for a survey nor for the certificate. This got pre-empted by the screen that asked if I wanted to see what questions I got wrong. On that last note, the screen that showed the questions that were wrong, it in fact did not show what was wrong and would have been the correct answer. it just showed the question and the possible answers. Finally, some work needs to be done with the voice doing the reading. It is fairly good, but with the subject matter, some parts need more appropriate intonation changes, some words are not pronounced correctly therefore the meaning is lost. And divisions between paragraphs and sections need to be made more obvious. More space needs to be provided for this comment section in this review. It is too small of a box.
It was very slow and hard to follow. Of course I will use the services again. I am required to do CE.
The read-it-to-me audio was really bad during the course it would read sometimes and at other times it would not!

The amount of time to complete this course was ridiculous. A total waste of my time. I was finished in an hour and a half and had to stay on an additional two hours to complete. Some of us read faster than others and I prefer to read rather than listen to audio. I had already taken the Florida 4 hour course just before this one so information was familiar. This absolutely ruined my evening.
chapter summaries were very nice for doing a quick review before the exams, and the videos did a great job explaining the concepts in a real world scenario.

The read it to me aloud function did not work on both computers I tried and did not automatically continue as I had selected. It made me keep clicking to start it, and also towards to end would not check that I completed sections until I clicked continue, went back to the section and forwarded again.

There was quite a bit of information in this one training session so for a new agent, it was a little overwhelming at first. However, the opportunity to self-pace go back and review the information presented was very helpful.

I liked having the audio option, but the voice was very choppy, making it hard to listen to for a long time.
It was easy to tell that an AI voice was used for the narrating. Unfortunately, the articulation, inflections, and tonality of the presentation didn't keep me very interested in the information I needed to know. The presentation was simply too bland.
From what I can tell this is the same material as the self study class. Seems to me having it listed just once would clear up any confusion of what is CLEQ or not.

There were no videos provided or visible in this course which is a surprise.
The auto play didn't work well/properly with any chapter that also had a video embedded in the chapter. The auto play would start then pause within a second or two and then auto play the video.

It was a lot of information to absorb in on sitting.
The AI bot who read the material sometimes mispronounced words and the inflection was wrong for a lot of the course.
So much of the material was redundant resulting in greater effort to retain information already given.

Content is great but as a new producer, the material takes about twice the amount of time as I am being given credit for. I am a tax professional so I have some background in the material but it still takes twice the amount of CPE time.

The FSA questions about limits were a little confusing since each year the amount changes.
In most chapters that displayed a video, the audio played before the video appeared. It was confusing and a waste of time, because I them had to go back and relisten to the video.

This was a unique CE to complete as it will help me understand the industrys needs when speaking to clients and their work or group insurance plans and how that can relate to saving for their retirement.
This was a good course--it was timely, and had quality content, and learning objectives were met based on both.

In 2025, the questions referenced FSA maximums going back to 2014 ($2,500) which made the questions regarding maximums and rollovers a bit confusing.
The CE should be reported for other designations like CFP, CIMA, and some investment licenses. Your company doesn't allow us to report them.

THis course should be adjusted to three 8 hour sections to better conform to the 8 hour per day rule.
Some of the limits for FSA on the questions were outdated for 2025 - Carryover and employee contribution limits.
I took this class after failing the class from another CE provider. This one was much clearer and had much better information.

While everything was clearly laid out and presented effectively, it was quite a bit of information to take in all at once. I do appreciate being able to work on it at my own pace.
I truly enjoyed having the option of the read out loud and reading silently. Being able to go along at my own pace is exceptional and extremely important and beneficial to me.

Navigation system (UI) isn't very good or very clear as to what I was looking for. Course, I was a first-time user of this web site. Other than that, the content was excellent. Especially glad that there was an option to keep the audio off. I personally prefer reading and absorbing the material at my own pace.
Although not necessarily universal, I prefer this format over reading a pdf file.

This is not about the course, but about the continual overlap of CE materials. The only part of this course that was relevant were chapters 15 and 16. Everything else is covered in various courses.

I did not like how you had to wait to meet the minimum time requirement just to take the exam. Also I do not like how my other course work is stuck on 99% complete. Other than that everything was great!

Informative but dense. It is possible to complete this course in four hours but, in doing so, one is not likely to retain much content. I would suggest adding additional quizzes and interactive learning opportunities to increase retention of content.

Rather ridiculous that I read all material and completed all 80 questions and only missed one in far less than the required time, but I had to sit and let a timer run out to get credit. Not all people read and process information at the same rate. Waste of time.
There were just a couple of test questions that were a bit unclear in the way they were written. It's possible that was by design.

The limits for HSA and FSA were several years outdated (it is 2025)
I have 21 years experience and finished the courses in half the "required" time. So I sat and let the read it to me play at low volume for 90 minutes. I passed the exams, many times with 100% but needed to let a voice play over the same material again and again. If you want me to spend more time, make the material longer or the exam longer. What is the point of time requirement during an exam?? I have not seen this before , ever and Its so stupid that I will endeavor to never take a web CE course again and will let as many colleagues know about this as possible!

I don't know how people can get through the amount of info in just 4 hours unless they already know the info or are skimming without really knowing the content. for me this should be an 8-hour credit.

Being required to stay in the course for 2.5 hours when I didn't need all that time was frustrating and wasted a lot of my time. I should have been able to take the test when I was ready. Otherwise, it was a good course.

I'd like to be able to view correct answers when reviewing ones I got wrong - I still passed but I want to be informed.
Some questions did not make sense. I can's tell you which one it was now, but it seemed to contradict its self.

Course content was excellent. This course seemed to have the timer working correctly, where the one I did right before this did not. However, there were still glitches. The final exam had 5 questions, reflected that I had all 5 correct and 0 wrong, yet I received a 91%. Definitely have work to do on your glitches.

The CT requirement that only allows you to take only up to 8 hours a day should be bold or highlighted! This is a new requirement and if you have a course less than 8 hours you can’t take a 4 hour and a 5 hour course in one day and you can’t take a 9 hour or more course in one day. It can now take up to 5 days to complete when you could do it in several less days .
Some of the read-it-to-me audio is not formatted to sound like natural speech, such as the end of formulas read as the beginning of sentences

overall great place to do my CE. especially when i am restricted to a time limit for each page. I am a fast reader and can get through the material fast. if this option from site is changed, I will be going elsewhere.
Since your offer some of the material in a separate course, don't include it in this course but require the QSEHRA be completed prior to this course. Also you combined 'traditional' group health, ie non-HSA plans and HSA plans under the same label. That was a little confusing because other course separate the two types, Traditional, and Qualified High Deductible.

For the FSA section of the course, the information regarding max annual election limits and rollover are extremely out of date and need to be updated (speaking as an FSA Administrator).
Although I did very well on the exam, I felt that the content of the Chapters were very specific in nature, while the exam questions were very general and made it somewhat difficult to select the correct answers. Overall, I'm very satisfied!.
It would be nice once an exam is completed to be able to view the entire test not only to see to mistakes but all questions for review.
When changing the audio volume for the read-to-me feature, it would be nice if it stayed where I put it instead of having to adjust the volume on each page.
It is the best insurance CE program I've experienced during my entire 34-year career as an advisor/agent.

I liked the content of the course, but after almost 20 years holding this license, I was done in an hour, and had to stay in the course the full 3 hrs 20 minutes before I could be credited. I made a 100 on the exam, so I should not have to waste time to get credited for the course since I obviously know the material.

The timer runs slower than my watch. maybe its a connection problem, but its annoying.
I personally disliked the time frame aspect of the course, it can cause unwanted test anxiety.
I liked how the user was able to use the audio presentation if desired or not. The case examples were also quite helpful
When i am done with the course it is necessary to go out of the course and then back in to obtain the test this can be confusing there should be some button to hit to take the test from the end of the chapter

I feel that the format or volume of material was too much and took much more time to complete than it should have. With all the pauses, tests, diagrams, tables, etc., it took way longer than it was supposed to take.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.

While I really enjoyed the "read aloud" capability, I personally thought that it was a bit slow for my taste. I would have preferred the reader to do so a bit faster. Otherwise, this was a terrific course.
I liked that one could return to the course and pick up from where they left of. I also liked that I could pause and reread without there being a timed-out where I would need to log in again. The timed-out was only when I left the program for too long. The "Read-it-to-me" feature would be appreciated by some people I know as that is something they are comfortable with.

Not the fault of WebCE, but I find it preposterous that an adviser seeking to fulfill silly CE requirements is forced to sit for 3 hours when he/she could have passed all quizzes and exams with 100% correct answers in 60-90 minutes. What's more important, putting in time, or knowing the material exceptionally well???
There was a question here that wanted me to answer how much an annually income would be taxable. The module just tells you the total amount of what it would be WITHOUT showing the formula of how to find what the total amount number would be taxable. This can be found on question 4. Even the answer does not show how to get the total tax amount. It just tells you what it is without explaining HOW to get it.
I enjoyed the audio and the interactive videos. I also enjoyed having an exam at the end of each section to summarize that portion instead of a longer exam at the end. I felt I was more engaged and less anxious with not having to look forward to an extensive overvall exam at the end.

The 4-hour training and suitability training was great because it provided a high overview and also gave you more information about calculations, taxes, and exchanges. Easy to understand and implement examples with clients.

As long as you put the time in to really read the material and review the individual chapter exams, the main exam is quick and easy to complete.

In regard to a previous user's rating of this courses he claimed that some info was not discussed in the chapters so he didn't know the correct answers! And i can see why coz i encountered the same issue... but noticed as i was navigating thru the exam & i would got back a page or 2 to make sure i understood everything & i would try to go back to where i was before in the course the system seemed to skip a couple of pages of the training... were it not for my notes on the Best Interest Elements 1-4 when going back a couple of pages i would not have noticed! Sytem went from #1 to #3 & skipped element #2!
Unclear questions on some exams.
Need a button After start of course to turn off the "read-it-to-me" audio. I immediately found the audio annoying, but there was no obvious way to turn off the audio without restarting the course.
The PDF's and Videos did not show up
This course was 5 hours and should have be 3 or 4 hours. It was somewhat DEFECTIVE in that I was done in 3-4 hours and had to go thru the course again in order to accumulate the additional time needed before being allowed to Tale the Exam - Look into this Operational Defect and FIX IT

It took longer than the 4 credit hours to get through the material. While there is a lot of information to cover, it's discouraging to get 4 hours of credit for something that took 5 or more hours to get through.

Insurance CE requires 24 hours right? I only needed 6 total hours to complete my CE. 3 hours general and 3 hours ethics. My transcript and your look up tool should be able to communicate with each other. It keeps telling me I need more hours and the transcript says I don't.
The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.
Like the reiteration to help remember facts.
In the wake of Super CE events and other such items, it's no longer worth the time commitment to do multi hour online trainings.

Your use of examples helped to understand the materials. Your definitions were not always clear.
In my opinion, reading material aloud is not the most effect way to train. A more interactive video presentation would have been more effective.
The course design with the multiple chances to take quizzes help the learner master the needed content.
There were a couple times when listening to the audio another random audio started playing too. This occurred during another course as well. You might want to look into that issue.
I have just take my Health and Medicare state exams, and my Life exam not too long ago. All of the info in this course reinforced what I learned studying for those exams and introduced me to new topics that were easy to understand. The large font was helpful to me. While I learn best by reading aloud to myself, I know people who would benefit from the audio option.
Liked that you could go over the text during the test.

I was offered these courses thru my E & O insurance provider for FREE, but the website was confusing, the course content was poorly presented & displayed, NO pictures, NO sound, just information poorly displayed; and you had to go thru All the information to access the test! Your team of agents are Awesome, Jose showed me much patience & kindness, I was more than willing to pay the $73 that I really couldn't afford it; but it was well worth the Sacrifice!!! p.s. I soooo Love, Love, Love your hours of operations, especially being opened late, and on the weekend, where I could speak to a live person. Praise the Lord!!!
Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.

I paused the course for a short time & when I went back to it, there were 2 voices reading the materials out loud but a sentence or two apart. It made it impossible to understand what they were saying. Hard to stop the entire class, shut down & start over. this also happened in another class that I was taking a few days ago.

The Read-to-Me I found to move a little quickly, thereby resulting in lack of retention. I had to turn it off so I could go at my own pace and reread confusing parts or those that I thought would require extra time.
Although I experienced numerous technical issues, once I ordered the course it was easy to follow.

Dislike: This is a 4 hour credit course. The content does not accurately correlate to the time it takes to complete the course. The time to complete the course is more than 2 hours longer, hence, the 4 hours state credits are a misrepresentation of the time it takes to complete the course...

I was referred to WebCE. For years, I was taking my training courses on ExamFX but this is by far the best. I'm not the fastest reader in the world so the audio read alone helped me greatly. You've just gained a lifelong customer! Highly Recommended!!!
I liked the quotes and the review at the end of the chapters.
The only thing that I didn't like is that after the read to me audio would finish, I didn't have an option for it to automatically go to the next section.
the monitor is not available all the time
I liked the course but having to find a proctor to take it is problematic, sometimes it's hard to find a disinterested person to act as a proctor. Also it's time consuming, I have to leave my office and go where some one will qualify as a proctor for me. All low scores are due to the proctoring situation, if I could find somewhere else to go without using a proctor I would.
The only issue I had was the Monitoring of the exam, why Monitor a closed book exam?
The monitoring process is more difficult than the study or the test. Figuring that out took longer than the course.
LIMIT THE NUMBER OF QUESTIONS TO AT MOST 5 FOR EACH CHAPTER SINCE THERE ARE MANY CHAPTERS. 5X16=80 QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ENOUGH. MANY CHAPTERS HAVE BETWEEN 7 AND 10 QUESTIONS. THANK YOU, WEBCE

Question 15 does not really have a correct answer for 2024. The minimum deductible for a HDHP is no longer $1500 BUT Fran age 38 who purchased a self only HDHP with deductible of $1500 was the closest to correct. The minimum is $1600 this year.

Can't complain other then I have to keep taking these same basic courses to keep my license for selling life & health insurance and annuities. I did let my Securities licenses go in 2023 after 40 years. It just got to be too much of a pain.

I think that the policy about not being able to copy some information such as formulas with which a person is not familiar needs to be changed - especially since questions on them are included in the exam.
Don't have answers that aren't relevant to the given year. Some answers didn't make sense because this test is over 3 years old and values/rules change.
Everything is great just wish they would say what courses you need and how many hours you needed from certain sections but was able to get everything done by calling customer service because we were completely lost.
This course took much longer than anticipated. Should be worth more than 4 hours of CE.

This was a very good course. It kept my attention and reminded me of things that are important. I do think the test bank for some of the quiz questions at the end of each section is not entirely accurate though. It seemed that at times there would be a question in a section that did not relate to the material of that chapter, but related to a previous or future chapter. I don't mind being quizzed on something from a previous section, but it's not prudent to have a quiz question is a section from future material not yet covered. Please have someone review the test bank to ensure the questions appear where they should.

This was said to be a four hour annuity training course. This course takes about 6 to 8 hours to complete. Thus, you should provide more than four credit hours for this annuity training course.
The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".

Have used WebCE before and find them very reliable and easy to learn from their product.
The final exam should have text to speach to be ADA compliant even the iPad was not able to highlight speech to text I suspect is Webb City back in security preventing this measure. Thus Web see you should speak to text option for the final exam to maintain ADA compliance.
The basic logistics of 16 chapters in 4 hrs comes out to 15 minutes per section which is essentially logistically impossible unless you are zipping through every single quiz without having to read or reference a single page of material. This course clearly should be a 6 hr CE credit course. I've breezed through far more comprehensive certifications and classes in far less time than I spent on this.
The course had some obtuse information that was mildly interesting but not relevent. example, all the different theories of ethical behaviors. Also, it would be nice to be able to download the charts and appendices.

The monotone reading of the material is so bad it's distracting. It's better to just silence it and read it's so bad. Get a human to read these not AI.
The last question was a gtrick question Which constitites an unuathorized practice? i had it wrong but was a trick. i put refer client to an attorney for legal, in notes it stated never advise to get legal advise if you are not qualified. anser was draft a contract by behalf client...trick
This course was organized well and explained things clearly...it was not innundated with code/endorsements and such...
I found some of the test questions were not covered in the training portion. And I feel no more than 12-15 test questions is good enough
The course was great, and it made me look back to when I first started insurance.

I enjoyed this course and the way it was layed out. I liked the videos and the quotes from famous people that tied in well with the lessons
I took the test and after selling annuities for 35 years, found that I was acting in customer's best interest 100% of the time!

I wish the audio wasn't a computer generated voice. I couldn't concentrate on what they were saying and incorrect inflections were distracting. It would be better if the guy who voiced the video clips recorded the audio as well. :D

The course was great with the exception of a lot of information included that is not necessary. There are long paragraphs of outdated information that are excessive and unnecessary to the knowledge that should be retained from the course.
I am dyslexic and found the read it to me extremely helpful. Thank you for adding it. It help people let me.
Did not find it obvious to ensure I had the option to pay a little more so I could have this qualified as part of my continuing education requirements

I liked the read along option and the chapter references in the exam.
The content was not enough to fill 5 hours of course work.
The section of the course (I believe section 5) that talked about taxation of an annuity after death, kept stating that it was after the death of the contract OWNER. I was confused by this and wasn't sure if the same rules apply in the death of the ANNUITANT. I think this portion should be corrected or revised to further explain under the differences in taxation to the beneficiary when the OWNER dies vs when the ANNITANT dies.
I do not feel every question on the exam needs to be a paragraph.
Won't know the answers to some of these questions until it's confirmed the courses meet the CE requirements and are accepted.
Overall it was great - for my personal learning style, videos and interactive activities are more engaging but with the auto play audio, it was a nice blend.
California needs all their courses in audio version. I have only had one course this year over all the years I have been licensed. Very disappointing. I should not have to pay or sign up for app that will accommodate for this feature. It should be standard option in todays business climate.

I like how it's easy to find the content I'm looking for; contact a support agent, the length of course; the relevance of the exam questions.
I loved being able to read at my own pace, and change the playback speed on the videos. I also felt that all the "mini-quizzes" and end-of-chapter quizzes were extremely helpful to make sure I had absorbed what I read. This has been probably my best CE experience in the past five years.
At the end, before I submitted for grading, I did not receive a warning that I had 'unanswered questions'. Upon reviewing my incorrect answers (only 3), one was unanswered and counted against me. The unanswered question: What is the first step in underwriting process? The program did not alert me, as each of the previous exams taken (I have completed 11 modules/classes/exams in the past month) .... they have shown an alert after clicking 'grade exam' 'you have no unanswered questions... proceed...' That is not only unfair, it gives me a lower score. The alert isn't operating properly. FYI

Why the $1 filing fee for Insurance reporting vs. the $1.25 filing fee for the CFP? Is it that much harder to report to the CFP vs. all of the state's insurance departments? Seems like one filing fee would suffice.
The course material was great!
For this course, a couple of the sections were cumbersome and it would have been good to have charts or graphics
The educational/reading content is clear and concise and follows the learning objectives. The practice questions also help .
One of the questions did not have an oval filled and was marked incorrect. I think there may have been a glitch when grading exam. Thank you.

I opened the test before finishing studying, my mistake but had to just take the test because the content locked.
The short videos, with closed captions on, really help me. Stories and examples where I can both hear and see topics, deepen my comprehension.
I kind of wish I had taken the 1-credit Best Interest annuity update course instead of the full Annuity Suitability course, but I needed the CE credits for other purposes in addition to the state insurance requirements.

Owing. Me my errors seemed difficult to understand. Clarity on what i chose as an answer and what was the correct answer.
I received an email from the Kansas Insurance Department on behalf of the NAIC, notifying me of the requirement for this continuing ed requirement. I researched the course that would satisfy this requirement and they gave me a name and course number for WebCE; however, when I went on the WebCE website, I couldn't search for the course by course number--only by name. I would have liked to see both the course name and number to ensure that I purchased the correct training.

I learned a lot in a very clear and precise instructions.
It's easier to digest the informaion when it's in smaller chunks versus the larger chapters. If there were some way to break those up as well, that would help considerably.
The answers to question 4 needs to be updated ($1600) & # 8 is also incorrect.
I have taken WebCE in the past and loved the courses available and the ease of the platform. I have referred WebCE to my colleagues as well!
Having to find a monitor for the exam was extremely inconvenient. I realize it's a state of Colorado requirement, but in my opinion, it is unreasonable given that it is a short and relatively easy exam.

Very thorough. The course simplified in the best way possible a very complex subject which I still had to read and reread.
Some of the content in this course was a bit redundant across the chapters.
Course seemed a little long. Also, registering for the national exam while having a CA license seemed clunky. Hope I did it correctly!!

Choosing the right lesson is bit difficult on the web
Would like more examples of annuity situations with the formulas etc... to further understand and how to calculate them. This would help show the customer how the annuity works.
The robot voice is terrible. I liked the real human voices.
I didn't like that when I answered questions incorrectly, it didn't show me why the other answer was correct. Other than that, I thought the course was very good.
Computer generated voice is unnecessary. Clearly shows a desire to profit more than teach. With these prices, surely having someone voice the text is possible. If I do NOT use WebCE, this will be the #1 reason.
I think this "4 CE Hour credit" course took me quite a bit longer than 4 hours!

Very good learning material and reason I will continue to use Sure LC is the easy of navigating and great learning material.
When you search for a term, you should be able to skip to them directly instead of scrolling to look for highlights.
The course was educational but extremely long.

Thought that there was way too much information in the course for what is really required. Repetitive pieces made it longer to complete. Test was simpler than expected based on the complexity of the information in the course.
Ch. 9 "Annuity Charges and "Fees" has a misleading typo in Question 2. The question listed the word "accessed" instead of "assessed."

I like pdf or printable formats to study over looking at the laptop screen for hours.
Most of the time, I didn't notice, but, in the future, you may want to consider having a live person record the voiceovers.
