Candidates Obtaining the CSA Designation

Ordering Instructions

All candidates for the CSA designation are required to take the online ethics module, The CSA's Role, Rules and Responsibilities, which covers the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility, and agree to abide by the CSA Code once they are designated.

SCSA Member Recertification Requirements

All CSAs must earn 30 CSA CE credits every three (3) years to recertify and renew their membership for the fourth year. These 30 credits include three (3) required ethics credits.

Optional CSA CE Courses

Click the “Optional CSA CE” tab under Course Catalog to see a list of online courses offered by SCSA to all members for CSA CE credits. Any of these courses may be applied towards the total of 30 CSA CE credits required to recertify every three (3) years. These courses are optional. Members are not required to take them.

If you are interested in Life and Health (L&H) Insurance CE credits, some of these SCSA courses offer state L&H CE and/or state Ethics CE credits toward the renewal of your state L&H insurance license.

  1. Click on Course Catalog from the menu
  2. Select the "Optional CSA CE" tab
  3. Order the course(s) you would like to take and complete your online profile

If you have already enrolled, click Sign In from the menu to access your account and continue your study.
