There is one practice question in Section 2 that is not addressed until Section 3. It pertains to bifurcated Coverage E/Coverage U. There is also a math error in section 4.3 which had me stuck until I chalked it up to being an error. Otherwise, great course. The material was clearly conveyed and helpful!

Not the biggest fan of this course. As producers or agents, learning about pricing is irrelevant and not needed. Way to much information on that topic. Course is a bit long for understanding Umbrella/Excess policies. Final exam was easier than I thought it would be after going through course material. The actual info on Umbrella/Excess policies was good though and I have way better understanding how they work together.

The quality of the A.I. audio leaves a little to be desired, At times he/it makes no sense due to laughable failure to pronounce abbreviations. Minor, yes, but annoying over the course of time.

The questions in the practice tests and the exam are much longer than in other courses I have taken, I believe some could be amended to be shorter without decreasing their complexity or effectiveness.

The read it to me audio would not start automatically as it says it would after you select you want it to. Not a big deal, you can still play it manually
Some of the practice questions didn't provide all the info needed to determine the answer. One question said the insured had something like $5m in claimS and asked how much the Umb would pay based on the agg limit... how do i know? you didn't tell me how many claimS were involved. this happened a couple times.

The ethics webinar. Having at least 1 per week is why I did not renew with BetterCE for the first time ever. State Farm agent aspirants are being forced to have the SIE, 6, 63, and 65, and some of those line up with our expiration. Allowing us to catch up from procrastination will get you a bunch more people.
A lot of detail but aided in actually learning the material, lot just passing the exam.
I liked the audio feature, but voice was very robotic and monotone. Still, I think I got more from listening than I would if I tried to read the content.

I use WebCE every two years. The TOC on the left is new since my last go round; I like it! It helps me know how far I have to go without navigating out to see, so I can decide on a good place to pause and return later.

Very happy with this program.
There was a lot of complex content in this course, specific to terminology. This course didn't follow the same completion process as the other courses. It closed out before access to the certificate of completion and isn't showing as complete on my dashboard.

One of the exam questions about mediation referred to being able to choose not to accept the decision of the 3rd party. I chose arbitration because in the statement before the exam it stated that sometimes the decision in Mediation can be refused. I realized that in Arbitration a decision can always be refused. I find that the exam question wasn't clear enough for me to choose the Mediation answer.

I think the way the lessons are delivered is a great way to learn.
Being able to have the site read to you is nice, but the recording needs a bit of improvement. The computerized reading does not always get sentence pauses and breaks in the correct places, and sometimes words are not pronounced correctly or there is inconsistency of how numbers are read. Also, when searching in the text, it would be nice to have the ability to jump directly to the searched for words/phrases rather than having to search through the document to see where they are highlighted.

I like the short reads and the read to me function. Makes it a lot smoother of a listen than just jumping back and forth to find the answers. It seems to stick easier in my brain. Would like some color though, graphs, and maybe some of the questions to be less wordy. They get to be too much and gotta reread it. I also would like the function of read to me for the questions that are wordy.
Having previously completed courses through WebCE I knew I would use this for additional CE requirements. I believe this to be the most difficult material in all the courses I have completed. I especially found chapter 7 to need extra examples and clearer language. You may want to look at this to assist others in this specific Umbrella training.

There were significant pieces of this course that related much more to Property and Casualty licensing. I am working on CE for a Life and Health license.

I preferred the PDF format which I could print on paper to read and make notes, which helps me remember. I don't like the screen by screen learning which requires me to keep my hands scrolling and eyes reading a monitor.

I think this is the first time I've used your company for my license CE and I can say will most likely be the last. I'm not trying to be mean it just seemed like the material was for executive level licensing. I'm a lowly agent just trying to keep my license and the material and questions seemed to be for those that are leaders and those making decisions within the insurance industry as a whole. So many questions started with "You're the state insurance..." or "An audit by the state insurance department..." I have no clue about the insurance workings at those levels and yet I'm being asked questions like I am. Past CE seemed to be designed from the agent's perspective and made sense. Also some questions had nothing to do with the material that was just covered. Some sections were just a page long of material and I searched and searched but couldn't find the answer no matter how many times I read it. I hope this constructive criticism might lead to reassessing the material and making it more appropriate for the vast majority or your customers: agents

I thought the course was too long and reading the chapters were not very clear-cut. There were lots of instances where I saw the phrase "in other words" that in itself shows that the material could have been simplified. A lot of this information is already complicated. It is unfortunately not the design—but the internal wording of the course which creates some confusion. Insured and insurer are very close. It is a good course, but sometimes it gets snarled in the “shop talk.” Not much way around it, though.

You have a typo in your course description. That being said, if there's more CE units that I had to complete on my own, I may come back to you. Not enough information on each chapter for there to be a quiz that follows. The length of the questions in the quiz's is so much longer than the information in the chapter. Ended up spending more time reading the quiz questions than I did learning the material.

I would rather have a real person doing the voice over of the course instead of a computer generated voice. The computer voice became tiresome.
The last chapter glitched and would not auto play.
The only criticism I have is that I purchased a bundle that met my 3 hours of ethics and 12 hours of classroom equiv, plus several extra courses that exceeded my 24 hour requiremen.but once they showed up in my docket, I couldn't figure out which course contained the ethics portion. It would be nice if it was a little clearer, because I am holding off on taking some courses until March so they will apply to my requirements for 2027. If this does not make sense you can contact me for clarification.

The material is not easy but test was fair. There was question that confused me because the story said fire and the answer I think was right said explosion. I LOVED THE READ IT TO ME OPTION FOR WHEN MY EYES GOT TIRED OR I NEEDED TO HEAR IT TO COMPREHEND IT. BRAVO!
questions were too long and wordy
While completing the Course reviews and Final Exam, I see that answers I selected, then changed and moved to another answer. My recommendation is that once an answer is selected it "Lock" in place and cannot be inadvertently changed. I experienced this situation several times and had to ge back and select my answer again & watch carefully where my cursor was place to avoid any mishap.

The material is very long and complicated. I prefer hands on reading material to highlight and make notes. The final test is very difficult and should relate more to the chapter test questions.

The narrator for this course was terrible. He had no idea what he was discussing, he had mispronounced word like "minitrial" and his timing around commas and punctuation was horrible.
The questions were too specific for Continuing Education. There's a lot to read and comprehend and more GENERAL questions would've sufficed More specific questions are more necessary for when someone who is preparing to first get their license.
Questions should be in the order of the content. Back and forth gets very frustrating.
There appeared to be an error in the answer key for a final exam item. I will issue a ticket to Content Development to address this.

Some of the structures of the questions were difficult to understand.
Some of the content pertained to proper and casualty license and practical law matters. I think it is unrelated to Life and health and variable annuity material.

You had questions that apply to underwriting situations (as an agent) not to adjusting claims as in chapter 9, 10, 11
I learned some new information that one takes for granted having worked in insurance for a long time.
I find your ignorance and neglect regarding proper and correct grammar usage rather appalling, given that it is more of the same trite and trendy dumbed-down conformity that one sees everywhere in all aspects of business, academia, and every other segment of our culture. Specifically, your lack of use of hyphens where required is most bothersome. Some examples: "rerigister" instead of "re-register;" "copayment" instead of "co-payment;" "preexisting" instead of "pre-existing;" and "antidiscrimination" instead of "anti-discrimination." VERY ANNOYING and BOTHERSOME, at least to those of us who care and understand and know better....................!!!!!!!!!!

I find certain test items, not discussed in the learning material. It was also difficult when selecting courses to be sure they qualified for my CE requirements. Made me uneasy when choosing which courses to take.

The wording of the test questions are very. Tricky and confusing sometimes to try and find in the reading material I have to re-read over and over just to find the answer
The practice tests should include more "story" problems, similar to the actual test questions.

Even thought I rec'd 100%, This exam seemed extremely more complex than the material in the unit.
I had been really excited to take the umbrella course but this one was incredibly dry and could have used more examples.
you could help by providing more appropriate visuals (diagrams, charts, formatting of the content) to emphasize importance and aid memory

Excellent material
I dislike the ability to view both the test and the course instruction on screens at the same time. Many times when I'm unsure of an answer I like to refer to the course again to review that portion. This requires you to close one, open another and vice versa. Would likely take courses elsewhere based on this one element.

I actually learned some new things when it comes to rules an insurance company must obey.
Course content was almost ambiguous with the insertion of life and health references.
I found no questions on the final exam about health insurance, which is all I sell.

Personally, I don’t like the nuts and bolts of Insurance regulations and what organizations do what or what different forms of misconduct are called. I just know I need to do my job in an ethical manner and not break any laws. Thank you so much for making the course fun though.

The answers to the longer (more complicated) questions were NOT clear, even after rereading applicable sections.
It is a lot of material to read which is important to know. The example were clear. Most of all is only 25 questions.

More than 70% of the questions did not pertain to the line of business that I was taking the test for - life insurance. Most questions were framed around P&C scenarios.

I really like the way you present courses
I would remember the little things if the lessons were shorter and more decisive about certain details. That way after years they would be memorized and every year you could focus on something different.
Testing at the end of the course is very problematic.
I still prefer books. It was a hard course but I learned a lot!
I am a huge fan of IRMI and WebCE courses.
I liked the self-paced learning. I found it helpful to save my progress and start again at a later date and time. The flexibility the course offered will encourage me to use and recommend WebCe to others in the future.
I would love the course to be more interactive. The material is pretty boring (not your fault, insurance is always boring) so a more interactive course would make it easier to learn.
These courses are great. You can do them at your own pace.

Web CE is easier to use than any other CE program i have used so far.
Chapter 7 test Q1, wasn't there an underlying limit? $5 mil - $3 mil = $2 mil (not $3 mil).
the Read-it-to-me audio was very helpful for me.
The main problem is this course is out of date. No one cares in 2021 what the verdicts were 20 years ago. The litigation verdicts have multiplied significantly since then. There is absolutely no comparison. Also, chapter 7 quiz is WRONG! Last question, there is no aggregate limit on auto claims on a primary layer so the only way the excess carrier would pay $3m is if the verdicts were at least $6m not $5m. Check your facts.
