Some other sections were so long and covered so much information that I had a hard time distinguishing the types of insurance or annuities clearly in my mind. I sell Medicare Supplements and this is my 1st CE class. Some of the material was overwhelming me. I'd rather see material presented in more sections, as not to bombard my brain with too much information at once.

packages that are geared towards approved annuity training for most carriers should be highlighted as such. A licensed agent requires a minimum of 4 hours annuity specific training (amt of hours depends on state)

This course is difficult to complete due the excessive amount of technical terminology and information. It could be more compressed.

the read to me audio at first was helpful. I found that I was easily distracted and did not know the material afterwards. Reading the material was more effective for me. the interactives and videos were helpful. It helps me visualize the example better.

I like the read-to-me audio feature; however, I think it could be improved to sound more natural in inflections, pacing, etc. I used the read-to-me audio feature offered on my computer instead because it sounded much more like a real person & was easier to comprehend. Also, the read-to-me feature could be improved by including a moving highlight that allows your eyes to follow where the audio is at. It would also be helpful if you could click on a certain word you'd like the audio to start from, so that if you need to go back & reread anything, you don't have to just guess how far back to rewind the audio to get to that section.

There is a lot of overlap between this class and the other annuity class. Maybe offer a class with a case study structure just to give a different learning experience.

i like the chapter test but if we pass , that should be sufficient. I like taking material in small bites. Not large exams

The course is very informative but too many chapters and questions. Why not be consistent and give 5 questions per chapter and 10 - 12 chapters instead of 16.

In Section 3.2 the required minimum distribution age needs to be updated.

I do not mean to be critical but I would like to suggest a few things. There has got to be a way to avoid closely wording 2 of the 4 multiple choice answers. It only creates doubt and I feel it does a disservice to the learning objective. I want to learn, not get confused or frustrated. I find that spending time trying to find where, within the chapter, the correct sentence is, that allows me the learning moment I am supposed to take away from the sole purpose of these Continuing Ed Courses. Another observation or suggestion - - make the chapters shorter. The longer a chapter is, especially on confusing topics such as indexed annuities, the harder it is to retain the necessary information in order to pass the test. I got really frustrated this go around and I am a repeat customer. I come back year after year. I thrive in good, clear instruction and there has to be a better way to do that than this frustrating way. I really want you to know that this is just good old fashioned constructive criticism, no mean intent at all.

I understand annuities are life products, but the majority of life and health agents don't sell this product. Therefore I think this course should not be part of the bundle for Life and Health CEs, but an option. Annuities are complex financial products and I guarantee I won't remember much of this past the test, simply because it's not relevant to my business, at this moment.

The course is way too long, 80 questions on the exam. 8 hrs of content? you get lost in the content after 6hrs.
