Insurance Adjusters Working in California Need to Complete Fair Claims
Training

We’ve all watched the horror that’s burned through parts of California with the
recent deadly and devastating wildfires. Now it’s time to do something to start
the cleanup and rebuilding process. Last month, California Insurance
Commissioner, Dave Jones, declared an emergency situation, allowing
out-of-state insurance adjusters to help manage the massive influx of insurance
claims as a result of the fires.
Literally thousands of homes and businesses have been lost. If you are an
insurance adjuster, you can do something to help. But first, as required by the
State of California, you must complete your Fair Claims Practices Regulations
Training. (This training is required for both state licensed and non-licensed
adjusters.)
WebCE makes it quick and easy to get your California Fair Claims training.
The Fair Claims Settlement Regulations training course presents the language of
the regulations and reviews their objectives, including:
• Promoting the prompt, efficient and equitable settlement of claims, and
• Discouraging false or fraudulent claims
Upon completion of the course, students will be presented with a statement
enabling them to attest to having read these regulations.
