WebCE, a leading provider of online professional education and training solutions, was awarded the prestigious 2023 Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award in the small-size category during an awards ceremony held at University of North Texas, Monday, October 9, 2023.
Winning the 2023 Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award honors WebCE’s commitment to excellence in leadership and its outstanding contributions to the business community in Texas.
The Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award recognizes Texas businesses and leaders on a continuous journey of improvement toward operational excellence. Nominations were based on seven criteria: leadership, corporate stewardship, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, employee satisfaction, strategic planning, and business results.
Jennifer Haworth, President of WebCE, expressed her gratitude for the award, saying, "We are honored and humbled to receive the 2023 Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award. The nomination process involved a nominee interview with a Texas Consilium representative discussing each nominee's definition of excellence, business performance, and leadership insight. Portions of the interview were used during the award ceremony to introduce each nominee.
“I think excellence is engagement,” Haworth said in her Texas Consilium Award Nominee interview. “People pour themselves into what you’re doing, and it just becomes better. It’s not one person’s vision. It’s not my roadmap. It’s our entire company’s roadmap.”

The award was established by the Texas Consilium in 2019 when the Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award for Lifetime Achievement was awarded to Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys.
