Complete Your 20-Hour CTEC CE Requirements: very year, CRTPs must complete 20 hours of CTEC-approved continuing education from an authorized provider. Your 20-hour package must include:
10 hours of Federal Tax Law
3 hours of Federal Tax Law Updates
2 hours of Ethics
5 hours of California State Law
Confirm Credits Reported: Once you complete your WebCE courses, we report your hours directly to CTEC and the IRS for you. Always ensure your CTEC ID and PTIN are correct in your profile to avoid reporting delays.
Renew Your Registration by October 31: After completing your CE, visit CTEC.org to pay your annual registration fee and renew your permit. You must have a valid $5,000 surety bond and a current PTIN from the IRS.
