Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

What is the Connecticut Real Estate license renewal process?

All renewal notices are sent approximately 30 – 45 days prior to the expiration date of each license, permit or registration. The renewal notice may be sent via email or regular mail. License Renewal is due every year (continuing education must be completed prior to every even-year renewal).

What are the Connecticut Real Estate CE requirements for non-residents?

As a licensee in another state, you may submit certificates of completion for CE completed for another state's license to the Department for consideration toward equivalency credit for only the elective portion of the CE requirements.

Are there any CE exemptions?

The following are exempt from Connecticut CE requirements:
  • Individuals who passed a Connecticut licensing exam during the CE period.
  • Individuals serving in military service.
  • Individuals who are physically handicapped which handicap prohibits them from sitting for an exam or attending courses.
