This was an informative course. If an agent would be writing Flood insurance for someone, they would have to review this information more than once before being qualified to write the insurance. There is a lot of information to know.

The reading etc. can tend to lull you to sleep and straining on the eyes. More color and some drawings or pictures with color may be helpful.

some of the wording is different for the actual test questions, which can be confusing with all the information that's in the chapters. It would be helpful to keep the same terminology. example: additional living expenses was stated on the test questions as "additional living"

19 Case Studies is an awful lot for what is supposed to be a CE course. This course seems more geared for someone learning about Ethics for the first time.
Loved learning through the case studies. Understanding the situations that have arisen and will arise makes me think more deeply about the topic and realize that insurance expertise is only one part of the Agent or Underwriter. Knowing how to use knowledge appropriately, with proper grace and understanding, is what makes the industry as a whole shine.

as an agent for over 40 years i find it very unnecessary to make it mandatory to take CE..especially ETHICS and FLOOD. I should be getting credits for attending any of the companies meeting s i represent to go over the products i sell.. period !!!
This was a good course for someone that already had flood training. Just the right amount of detail and reminders of important items.
Course audio was very dull and actually sounded like a computer voice. Not very personal. Sounded more like AI audio / robotic sounding.
My only dislike was the mundane tone of the narrator.

The test questions were too hard
I do not recall WebCE using AI to do the voicing overs in past years. It is REALLY bad. There is a lot of mispronunciation of words being narrated. I would recommend going back to human voice overs. If a professional voice over is too costly, then try training a long time staffer for the task. Also, it would be very nice if the courses were re-organized such that a demonstration policy was available as various concepts, both over the model policies themselves are discussed, but also various coverage scenarios are covered. Doing those two things would bring the quality of the courses drastically up.

I disliked how it gave examples of ethics from other career fields. I feel this ethics should wholly apply to insurance only since this what I am taking the class for. Including information/text on other ethic cases is information not required for an insurance agent and makes remembering the actual information we need difficult and adds more work that's not needed
I would have liked to see details on the questions I missed on the final exam. I tried, but the system wouldn't let me go there. I got "kicked out"

Required course time is silly
the writing style was strange, topics covered weren't always connected to the stated course title, but more to general ethics in business, and the writers seemed to see the insurance industry pretty negatively. it was weird. The line about gangsters and serial killers having a code of ethics, and so do insurance professionals? So strange.

Way easier than I thought it would be. Information was easy to locate and very easy to understand.
I listened to the audio and took all the quizzes and somehow had 25 minutes of time to fill at the end of the course. I used he time to reread the glossary and review the quizzes but it was odd that the content didn't take the full 3 hours.
The non-human, AI narration was monotonous, robotic and made it difficult to stay focused on the material being presented.

You may want to review the clarifications on "equality" and "equity" because the first half of the paragraph doesn't seem to agree with the second half.

On this Flood course chapter 5.4 has an example the Bob was under insured and should be at 80% his loss was $70k and you say he will get $80k. Not bad made money by not be insured to maximum.

Make the material less boggy. It's way too much content to squeeze into 5 -6 hrs.

The read-it-to-me audio was subpar. It was an AI voice that had no rhythm or cadence. It was so poor that I could not use it as an effective tool.

For a 3-credit course, it took me (and I am not a slow reader) more than 3 hours to go through the course. I need another 15 credits to obtain prior to October. I don't know if I can afford to spend another 17-20 hrs on WebCE courses.

Not a lot of information regarding the test questions could be found within the course material when I looked back after I finished the exam and was graded. Many of the questions on the test were broad and outside of the scope of what the course material presented for the actual test-

Certain things I wouldn't have understood if I didn't pause to reread and ensure I comprehended the information completely and the lack of brief pause between paragraphs or words made some of the information run together a little confusingly but otherwise really appreciate the feature and the information was very informative and helpful! The examples and scenarios i liked the most
I like the audio - but I wish there was some reflection in the voice and you could follow-along with the audio. If I loose my place it's hard to pickup and continue following along with the audio.

This specific course seemed to have repetitive parts.
Using WebCE because it's what I get reimbursed for: i hate that the modules aren't read by real people. the robot is distracting to listen to, talks incredibly slowly, and presents the topics as if this is an intro course (instead of part of a Continuing Ed bundle). There's no challenge as the content is incredibly simplified.

I enjoyed having parts of the course audio listen too and then switch to reading to other portions. Practice tests help with the final exam.
The computer voice is a killer. Would love to see you implement some AI to assist with the reading of the content. The male computer voice is mono-tone, and really puts you to sleep. Otherwise, no issues. The course was spot on with what I learned in school and the practice tests were a great break from the curriculum.

There were times the information was a little confusing and it seems it could have been little easier to communicate
The time indicated to complete the course should be modified. When it comes to remembering numbers (and quite a few of them), sometimes, more time needs to be spent to commit it to memory. The course was also a lengthy one. While I was not actually timed, I believe the time indicated should be increased so that students may plan accordingly. Otherwise, the course was very informative, and it appeared to have all of the information needed to successfully pass the course.
The wording on many of the question contained error, and miswording. In some case proper grammar was missing. I found many of the question that involved scenarios not clear, and with the grammar errors. Please have someone vet the question to make them understandable.

Based off of my personal experience, I feel the time to take these courses should be prolonged. I was giving 1 1/2 hours to complete 3 full CE course, and it took me over 2 hours to complete without any retakes. It is highly recommended that we listen and/or ready each passage and that alone took longer than the time given otherwise the course was fine and to the point.

the audio playback is hard to use because the voice is so monotone robotic. It would be more interactive if a real voice was recorded reading the course material. I like the course though. very detailed and informative.
I would love to see more videos, graphics, interactives, etc to supplement the content. Things got a bit wordy and felt like they came from a textbook
Overly wordy and confusing test questions. Took much longer to read and do the tests than the required time.
A recent phone call to WEBCE was answered by a woman who was neither courteous or even nice. I later spoke with Olivia who was outstanding.

I did not care for the computerized narrator. I had to turn it off after 1 chapter becasue it was detracting from my ability to absorb the material. Please consider hiring a voice actor or investing in better AI that mimics more human reading inflections and tonality.
Tests are inaccurately graded. Answers I had correctly answered were marked incorrect causing me to have to retake the test.

Truly disliked the apparently AI-generated voice reading the material. Mis-pronounced words and uneven speech pattern was very distracting. Eventually went back to just reading the material.

Good Content and Quality
Info for this ethics were presented more clearly, especially presented as case studies instead of random data. Illustrating how it applies in real world situation makes it more manageable. I also like that the info was presented in smaller chunks per section rather than in large endless paragraphs where key words are not highlighted and lists are written as sentences. It's much easier to mentally store lists and highlighted words than jumbled masses of words.
The "read it to me" narration had great difficulty pronouncing acronyms and abbreviations such as flood zone indications in this course and roman numeral. The automation tried to make/pronounce words from acronyms and abbreviations that were not correct.

I have used Webce before. It is easy to use. The information is clear and concise.
Good content, but several of the exam questions were worded in an odd manner making them very difficult to respond. Others were straight forward.

The scheduled time for this course is insufficient. It took me a minimum of 2hrs and 30 minutes, but I was allotted 1hr and 30 mins.

Some content was not clear. The actual exam questions were easier than the review questions. Exam questions were relevant to the basic ideas of the topic. This was appreciated.
I found some of the questions confusing. I knew the concept and the information but missed the question because it was not very clear.

This test was applicable to the policies I would write here in OK - I have struggled with the flood portions of the CE courses in the past as they tend to include more questions that apply to states who experience claims we typically do not here in OK. This was easy to understand and applicable. Thanks!

The Read-it-to-me audio is so very useful for slow readers like myself however, what would be most advantageous would be if there was a speed level between 7.5 and 1.0 option.
Page after page of written text was not a very captivating read. The addition of some photos, graphs or other visual stimulus would have made the content more entertaining.

Took at least 30 mins longer than the 2 hrs I was awarded, but I actually read ALL the material plus questions & answers.
I like the read it to you option for when your eyes are getting a little tired.
Studying and testing is never enjoyable, but some of the multiple choice answers were hysterically funny. I found myself laughing out loud a few times...and who doesn't need to laugh out loud now and again to break up the monotony? ;-D
I learned a ton in this course. It was actually really interesting and there is a lot I will use in my daily work.

Very easy to use! The instructions were clear and the format was simple. The only thing I would suggest would be to add more examples off different difficulty starting with easy examples to understand and then harder. I say this because it jumps in to examples and it was a bit hard to understand the terminology at the beginning, but it was easier.

I really liked being able to go back and check my understanding when testing after each chapter; there were times that I had actually misread the question, and reviewing the question(s)/material before submitting my answers was very helpful.
This course should definitely not be included as 4-hour content for MN license requirements. The course is very short and, even following along with the timed narrator, does not take 4 hours to complete.
I like the fact that you can listen to the audio, it makes it easier to understand. It was a long session for the Ethics session but it was very informative.

I found the questions a little distracting.... too many unnecessary details....I think if the questions were asked more simply it might help in answering the questions.
I am a repeat customer because of the ease of the service and the material offered.
The test questions are not so close to the right answers, which can make it difficult to know what the right answer is.

The questions asked in the PPR replacement area could be worded better. RCV is only given upon replacement of the item not initial settlement of the claim - questions was too vague

The course material was easy to understand and quite helpful. I really learned something new in this class.
There was an exam that I "Failed" however - the answer key had the exact same answer - word for word for both C and D - I chose C and D was the answer - even though they were the SAME ANSWER - May want to look over the test answers!
No content was included for Credit Card/ATM loss in chapter 12 but there were several questions on the subject in the quiz.
Multiple answers satisfy multiple questions.
A couple of times I felt the questions used different terminology than in the reading. For example, under home valuation the reading calls for the cost per square foot to be an option. In the question on this topic, it used the value per square foot. Those are two different concepts and creates ambiguity.
The final exam questions do not make sense and are poorly written. The questions are long and confusing.

The I'm not a robot took too long and required too many entries. The speed of the audio was a little fast for me at 1, however to slow at .75. Course content was excellent and I learned a lot about something I thought I had decent familiarity with.

Several misinterpretations of the coverage actually provided incorrect "right" answer. last was fire spread to neighbor home at 11 pm and was extinguished at 3 am. at midnight new insurer period began. Fire damage occurred during the policy period. new policy does not exclude the occurrence. no duplication just proper.
More practice questions would be helpful especially on the longer, harder course material chapters

There was a question in the test about compensation for hobby-business income not exceeding $2000, but I thought the material explained that in 2022 form this was updated to $5000? Maybe I misunderstood. The question was easy enough to answer even if I did misunderstand because $2000<$5000, but I wanted to comment on this.

I hate the robotic voice that reads the information to you and it seemed 1.0 was too slow and 1.25 was too fast. I needed a 1.1 option and a more human-sounding voice.

I loved the read it to me audio. My only complaint with it was that the reader needed a better pause between headings or sections so that everything didn't sound like one long run on sentence. But overall, I appreciated that option.

Many times the description of the issue at hand was confusing. I read some sections many times trying to understand the content. It was difficult whether the insured or the insurer was responsible in the course description.

There were times in this course where the read to me feature provided the incorrect pronunciation of words, which was distracting. I'd also recommend a slower cadence when reviewing formulas or specific numeric/computational examples that people need to think about.

As someone with ADHD having the contents with audio made it so much easier to retain information. It kept me engaged and faster to move through the course.

IT was simple and straight to the point. I wish it was some interactive videos or little skits especially for flood.
The course is good but the real aloud voice sounds like a robot with no tone in the voice nor accentuation when it comes to how it really is suppose to read the paragraphs. I would have it read to me but I would get tired of the way the voice sounded so I just read the words myself especially if the chapter had too much info just because I needed to understand it using my own voice.
Some of the questions in chapter 18 had a funky use of 2 1/2. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but it looks strange.

your scenarios were too back & forth. Just ask a question without trying to trip people up with all the rambling. After you get the scenario down and you know what's going on your throw the except out. So you read it again. too time consuming!

For an ethics course the material is not very ethical. There is plenty of opinions and subliminal indoctrination type leading questions throughout the material.
This is ALOT of information to try to retain without the aid of a teacher. The fact that you cannot go back to review the material is completely unrealistic, and you should be able to. I had to take this test 5 times.

test questions were difficult and complicated in some instances, without needing to be. Been doing this 30 years, the test questions were often unrelated to anything I've seen in claims.

This course was very easy and anyone who's competent with understanding the language and terminology can pass the final exam with flying colors. "Heads-up" the practice exam questions are not the same as the final exam questions. But it seemed easier to pass the 25 questions on the Final Exam. I scored 100% "Good Luck!!!!!!!"

I did not like the general overtone on occasion that pushed DEI and ESG which in turn put important factors out of kilter in relevance of importance in providing a grade of quality. Finance and Governance should have greater weight. Environment, Climate and ESG should carry lower weight. These political preferences should not be pushed. Also equating Islam to other religious beliefs are just wrong.
The read to me option made it much easier for me to understand and comprehend the course material.
The courses are good and well taught but they are a little tough even for someone who has been in the business for over 40 years

Under Chapter 7 "Its Your Responsibility" Quiz Question #1 Mary purchased a flood insurance policy many years ago .... which of the following is NOT a duty she has to perform in conjunction with her claim. I answered C. "Submit to an examination under oath if the adjuster requires this." System Response: "This answer is incorrect. The answer is "B. Show the policy provision granting coverage to the claims adjuster." Mary has several explicit post-loss duties, but educating the adjuster is not one of them." I found this very confusing and funny at the same time.
graphics help. i am never a fan of education with just words. my job pertains to using the fema website and map? where are the graphics to go along with it? i had to search it up my self. i know we are all adults. but not everyone can learn, take in, and absorb from just words.

The questions were too long. There were sentences in the question that had nothing to do with the question itself. If the goal is to retain the information learned in the chapter, adding additional sentences or words, are a distraction. The coarse material itself was great. It was informative, the scenarios were great, as it put it in real life prospective, and made it easy to understand and retain.

Typo: The text is missing the limitation amount after the "$": "Special limit c. imposes a limitation on watercraft of all types. With this limited coverage as well as various homeowner liability exclusions on larger boats, it is advisable for an insured with a larger watercraft exposure to add the Supplemental Watercraft Liability Coverage (HO 24 75) endorsement or, for broader coverage, to purchase a boatowners policy." Also, exam question #12 asks for this exact limit.
This was a harder course. There seems to be some ambiguity and interpretation within the course. Not necessarily an issue with the content, maybe more so becuase there was a lot of content.

As a licensed Property and Casualty agent, who has been using WebCE for at least 10 years, I always appreciate the knowledge I gain. I will keep using WeBCE until I no longer have to take any CE credits.
Some of the questions for the test were worded very weird or used names of companies that made questions unnecessarily difficult such as State's which made it unclear if the question was referring to the state or if State was the name of the agency. Some other questions were worded awkwardly.
ALTHOUGH IS WAS A LOT OF INFORMATION, IT WAS PRESENTED IN A MANNER THAT WAS EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND GAVE GREAT SAMPLE SCENARIOS

Finding course was very difficult. Material is presented in a dry fashion and hard to pay attention. however i appreciated the read aloud since I have a vision impairment. need that option for test taking.

The audio has some pronunciation issues and does not pause for commas, which was hard to listen to, so I just read at my own speed. I also noticed some typos that were not caught when this was proofread.

did not enjoy this Flood class. Very hard to absorb and understand.
The questions in the test was almost an insult to my intelligence. I 1st took the practice questions for each section to get an idea of what I needed to study. I then read the material and took the final test. The questions in the final test were significantly easier than the practice questions and I don't feel the practice questions were a fair example of the final test itself.
A lot of information wasn't on the exam. Too much information at times that wasn't relevant, it seemed.
I recommend your courses often.

Some of your answers are not the same as what State Farm will provide their insured, but that's ok. Each state/carrier writes their policies a little different.
The test questions were too lengthy and designed to confuse the test taker. This does not seem fair to me.
I like all of the Ethics Courses, It has always been one of my favorite topics. I love learning about all of the real-life cases, and always love the challenge to learn more and as much as I can.

Some of the practice questions for this particular class were not worded clearly and extra difficult to follow. A few times, I was not able to match up the questions with the content and as very confused when I saw the actual answer. This is the first time I have seen this, but it was off-putting. In any case, the actual exam had more direct questions, which I was grateful for.

some ares were confusing especially I was sure there was conflicting information about the the subsidies not being eligible when an owner sells his house. Did not see anything mentioned about transferring the policy, yet was in the test.. There were several items on the test that I could not seem to locate ( or easily locate ) in the material .. Otherwise great course
Section 1.2 was confusing and needed some elaboration to clear up what was being said.. specifically the section discussing... For example, assume that only John Smith is listed as a named insured in the declarations of a homeowners policy. He moves out of the house due to a separation, and his wife Mary remains in the house. Mary is no longer a "you" since she no longer resides with her spouse John. In addition, the definition of "residence premises" means "the one family dwelling where 'you' reside." In this situation, coverage could be threatened. .... Also on the Test regarding Other Structures it was a bit confusing as Other Structures coverage is included by default on Homeowners policies, at least the ones that I service.. so the only options that would apply would be making sure there was enough coverage on the included covg. B ( which I chose by selecting raising the coverage ( total coverage to 435,000 which would include covg. B at 35,000 ) .. other option that could apply was to make sure the Garage was listed on the policy DEC.. .. Otherwise nothing else needed clarification, everything was great
it times out so quickly, but i do like that it picks right back up instead of kicking you all the way out

Reading of materials should be live reading instead of AI to allow inflection and emphasis and appropriate application of concepts.
The Questions are extremely wordy and make the whole thing lose all meaning. There is a way to determine if people retain knowledge without trying to make the wordiest questions to try and fumble them. Just get to the point and remove the unnecessary trip ups.

My company provided ExamFx and I tool the test probably 50 times and couldn't pass so, per the recommendation of my boss we decided to switch to webCE and I passed the first time. The study material didn't match the test on Exam FX, this was much easier

entertaining for an ethics course to refer to "more than 1 way to skin a cat" multiple times. Someone, somewhere, gets paid to write material that could easily be restated to "more than 1 way to get the job done/ do the right thing" - I guess John the trapper has good ethics insurance advice.
I'm taking a lot of training courses for my new job. I struggle with courses that are textbook like. I learn better with more interactive courses (Total CSR interactive lessons are an example). I did like WebCE offered the course to be read through with you, the chapter exams and the final exam.

There was a 1-question quiz in one of the early sections that said it would provide the correct answer after 2 incorrect guesses, but it never gave me the correct answer until I guessed it.

I took notes and reread some material so it took me more than 4 hours to complete. I don't know if you allow for that when determining how much material to include in a course. With in-person courses, a ten minute break is allowed within each hour of course credit, so a 4 credit course actually has 3 hours and 20 minutes of instruction.
Some questions made no sense.
I felt the content was very easily retained throughout the duration of the course.

There should be a button/flag stating "are you sure you want to revisit a course that you have already completed." That way, if you accidentally click on a chapter you have completed thinking you are "resuming" where you left off, you will not waste time as the system lets you go back through it as if you had never taken it.
A 6 hour course took me over 2 weeks to complete. I am not familiar with Homeowners Insurance and the audio reader was VERY dry. My specialty of insurance is Contractors GL.
Personally do not like Web courses.

I had several 500 error messages in the boxes marked additional information. It did not detract from the course but it may have been a glitch on your end. I closed and reopened the course but the errors were still there.
The contents are dull beyond comprehension. the test questions are needlessly confusing and tricky.

Have a real person read the audio, not a computer. It was very distracting, especially when the computer read off times.
The read -it-to me audio was very mundane and difficult to listen to. The content was very informational, except for all of the examples of the well-known Unethical Behaviors. Very drawn out. I enjoyed the Exhibits on the Code of Ethics section, again, very informative.
The monotone voice of the audio person is annoying.
Whoever is writing the questions, you are doing awesome. They were so fun, it made the course a lot more entertaining to take. Thank you!

It took much longer to read the material than 3 hours. More lists with bullet points rather than long sentences which are difficult to "take in" at times would help that. The charts included helped but there could be more diagrams. Also more examples of concepts help.

There is what appears to be a typographical error in the glossary. Reduction and Reformation of Coverage: A standard flood insurance policy (SFIP) provision that establishes conditions under which the policy will be considered to provide lower limits of insurance than those shown in the declarations because the *amount of insurance* submitted with the application was not enough to support the requested limits. The starred phrase should read "premium" rather than "amount of insurance".

I already ordered. But some of your questions were just tricks and not meant to be answered with just knowledge, you had to decider the questions real intent first. Its about knowledge not double negative comprehension. Also your explanations/ course at times were the same. Very hard to follow.
The way the questions was worded it made you able to put yourself as the person in the question to think what is the ethical answer.

I thought everything was pointed toward being successful in passing the course.
I got very long having a guy just read the material without any hesitation. But it helped to read and listen to it. I got done with the audio and pre tests in just over 3 hours. I didn't like that I had to re play 1 hour of content. The audio portion should get you closer to the 4 hour limit needed.
The ability to be open book but the ease of getting back in to complete any section!

I like the online course that I can review on my time. I like that I can stop and pick up where I left off whether it is in the content or test. I do feel the content is a bitextensive the way it is presented. For my personal style I would appreciate more interactive pick the correct answer or maybe a chart/graph of comparing information. I understand that is not always possible but it would change it up a little and keep the reader interested and engaged.

The voice of the individual ready for the course should have a more uplifting voice and not be so dry to make the course not so boring.

The Flood laws have changed. RR2.0. Where this classes does touch on it slightly. There needs to be more info on the RR2.0 program. Since the NFIP has merged over to using the RR2.0 and the requirements
Great test and very informative
I love this tool! It is so efficient and I love how quickly my course completion is reported to the state. I don’t worry about the continuation of my license being in jeopardy because of this site reports my immediate progress to the state hourly, therefore my compliance is never in question. WebCE is so trustworthy and they prove it hour after hour, day after day!

the home policies described her do not resemble a typical Maryland Policy.
This course needs additional proof-reading. There were at least two blatant typos and one of the ethical examples was inconsistent in its use of "Bull Company" and "Bear Company". Verbiage in some of the questions could also be improved.
The Read-it-to-me audio was very difficult to listen to. I ended up turning it off and just reading the material myself. Please consider having a human read the material.

why it asks "UNDERWRITER" questions? I‘m not a underwriter. I'm a customer service agent for auto insurance, I can only add/delete a car or coverage. I‘m not allowed to request any code from company. the role is totally off. You should separate questions for "UNDERWRITER" and "normal agents". THANKS
I would feel more comfortable if a real human was reading the material instead of a monotone robot type voice. It makes understanding and listening for so long difficult.
This was awesome to get a good chunk of CE hours done. Would like more visuals- like videos to watch and then answer questions versus so much reading.

I love that it gave many examples, which I feel is so important when applying concepts! I was really struggling with a similar program through Exam FX. I did not feel like they were clear or gave examples. This program was definitely more effective!
This is a seven hour course with 25 questions for the exam. I just scored 92% on the exam without spending a single minute on the training material.

reading it once is not enough to know all the answers. It takes time to understand things and people need to actually to some examples to understand it.
This is my second purchase and I will purchase a third time.
WEB CE makes getting continuing education credits super easy.
My only suggestion is the man's voice was a little robotic. Sometimes I turned it off and just read it myself. I would have liked to have heard a better reader. the classes were all great though!
I do enjoy when some funny or silly answers are thrown in as part of the multiple choice answers. Breaks the monotony of the exam and makes for a good chuckle.
I really like the Video class in the Ethic course. But do appreciate the audio on the other courses. I do not read that fast and the audio or video is a BIG HELP!!! I took many classes but only wanted to do your survey once and waited till my last course.
Flood insurance is a vast subject and though I've been an insurance broker for over 20 years, I'd never studied it. My only complaint was that three hours of credit is WAY TOO LOW. I put in well over 10 .
I like the video with someone teaching the course like Ethics. The audio is great, but like the instructor as well.
Frankly, I felt like this was written by a Christian and I LOVE IT. Thank you! I've told my coworkers how awesome this course was, along with funny and interesting.

Challenging chapter on the exam put great that i pass the exam
The exam was incredibly easy, even I suspect for the most basic of insurance beginners. Please toughen up 8-10 questions on this exam by making MCE alternative (but "wrong") choices more reasonable.

This course is too long for 4 hrs CE credit
Im pretty sure i went over the estimated course time by using the read it to me audio by over 30 minutes excluding the test. The other thing I severely dislike is Blind test results. Once again I'm walking away knowing I have incomplete knowledge, on a subject that prior to the course, I had No knowledge or prior training of what so ever.
The guy talking made me drift off, so I turned off the sound so I could concentrate

I have been a WEB CE customer for many, many years. To me, WebCE is the Guru Of Continuing Education Courses. I love that the material is new, and it challenges my insurance mind, making me think of new ways to speak to clients about coverages. This course, had me deep thinking, for real. That's a great thing, I surely took my time with this.I am a Licensed insurance professional for over 20 years, and some of the questions really had me putting my insurance thinking cap on super tight.

This was a great course, I loved all of the new information and there was so much to learn. The test has gotten a bit more challenging, but that is great, because it shows the world of insurance is evolving as the years go by.
Add a note for agents to conduct public data searches (I use Realtor Property Resource) to review ownership of buildings. I have come across an increasing number of policies that we review that don't include a trust in the name or an endorsement. Insureds forget to mention formation of trusts to their agents. We review public record listings on 100% of the new policies we write... we should probably consider adding this for renewal reviews as well
So many years, numbers and acronyms that I had never heard of. Still can't remember what most even mean! This wasn't a class for "beginners".

There were some clear errors and some terms that needed to be stated more explicitly due to other concepts in the same section with similar terms.
Streamlining accessibility on all devices. On my IPad from home I have to set the auto play each page. On a desktop if auto play is on and I hit next, it keeps reading.
This didn't have the usual clear information. It wasn't explained as well as usual. More examples in the information would have been helpful.
I really enjoyed the background (Historical) information on the 2008 mortgage collapse. I also liked the history on the Madoff/Ponzi case.

The question about what is needed for a policy to go into effect says photo, deed, bribe, or premium unless on installments. I selected photo and got it wrong. Since deed and bribe are not required the only option is premium. I didn't select this because NFIP doesn't offer installments.

thought the course was too long vs. the material covered but you mite need 4 hrs. of ethics for some states? (here in MN we need just 3 hrs.) And, part of me says you can't teach ethics. After years in the insurance industry, one gets to see all forms, clients and agents as well as insurers, seeming to act in their own interest when "the moment of truth" comes. Course is right in that reputation of insurers, and agents, tends to be poor as a result when the buying public, personal and commercial, looks at the insurance industry in general. Yet, nothing can happen in commerce, buying a house, car, or running a business, without an insurer backing the financial commitments. It's sad that the insurance industry reputation isn't better (my .02!) thank you
I liked that the chapter information was interesting and challenge me to think like an agent, and how I would service my clients better.
I appreciate the option for audio but the ability to move forward without as well.
Some of the questions especially the one about rental property purchased are just not correct. We sell separate RDP's for property with a different address. The student/dependent coverage is not defined in any policy. You should have a current sales person check your info for updated and correct policies we actually sell

The Fascist ESG garbage goes against everything you are trying to teach in this course. It is political Un American and has no place in ethics training.
The course made a difficult subject understandable. I thought I would be bored, but I found the course enjoyable and interesting.
The robotic audio is excruciating, I found it incredibly difficult to stay awake. The length of the quiz and test questions felt unnecessarily lengthy and confusing. Just get to the point.
Took me a while to figure out that I was suppose to click on the course where it showed what was going to be covered in the course to get to it. Only thing I saw to click on was the exam. Also this is listed as a 3 hour course and I was only given 1 hour to complete it. Need more time to finish it.

I was told I missed one and I know that is the answer I gave. Not that it matters it's just that sometimes these tests don't record the answer. It would really be a bad thing if you scored below a 70 because of it.
Everything was ok in taking this course and taking the exam.
This course took longer than the estimated amount of time. But the real problem is that this course includes the phrase "A diamond ring is worth much more today than it was when the couple was engaged 20 years ago" which is simply untrue. Diamond rings aren't even good at holding their value when they're brand new, and in recent years, have decreased in value due to decreasing demand. Please correct this oversight.

Certificates should be forwarded directly to the Louisiana Department of Insurance.

I did not care for this course. The information was not concise nor very relevant. The Course Title is deceiving & the content did not match. It covered too many Endorsements that were not referred to on the Exam. I expected to primarily review the "20 ?'s you need to ask for writing an HO policy" & the course contained overkill on other HO policy information. A course should be developed to cover Endorsements exclusively because they are in a stand-alone category . There are too many "formulas" to remember which relate to the Endorsements. The Exam also, did not emphasize the Course Title. The Exams were repetitive with regard to the non-relevancy to the Course Title. Each time I didn't pass, I couldn't understand my errors but apparently I was making them. Therefore, I didn't know what I was getting wrong & there is no opportunity to review errors. I have utilized Web CE for many years & feel this course was not developed appropriately. I was extremely disappointed @ the level of difficulty to pass the Exam. I finally did however, it took way-y-y, too much time. To the contrary....I certainly appreciate the opportunity to take Exams as many times needed 'til PASSING! TY for allowing me to leave comments.

The information contained in The H/O Course were up to date & relevant to today's Insurance Industry. I found the new information enlightening and informative. It opened my eyes to a number of changes and updates within the industry.
I don't normally do well with online tests but this format and process was very effective and I appreciate the format.
I've been taking online courses through Web CE for years. Very convenient.
All checkpoint quizzes need to have the correct answers revealed before moving on to the next section.

I don't like how you will introduce an acronym and then from then on use that acronym throughout the whole course as if were to instantly memorize every acronym. Because eventually they all pile up till it's a bunch of nonsense that I can't understand

Course very detailed and informative. I find that the mini test given and graded with explanations throughout the course is better. This helps retain information, than a long study course then exam.

Whoever is writing your content deserves a raise. Some of those questions/answers had me laughing, which is definitely more engaging than just listing facts. Good job, WebCE!
Offer different voices, that monotone is tough! :)
Suffered a flood loss, found out we were eligible for funds to elevate the home but adjuster never told us about that. Other than that the claim was handled well. We were in a preferred zone but I bought the policy anyhow. Turns out to one of the best investments I made. (no longer rated as a preferred zone)

PRACTICE QUESTIONS DID NOT HELP WITH EXAM QUESTIONS. SEEMS LIKE OBJECTIVES WERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ON THE EXAM
Everything was good there is just a question that is in there twice on the ethical portion. "A graduate insurance student attempted to determine the factors...." It's question 1 and 2 in the training. Both have same order for answer "Metaethics" Just a FYI- Take care

The only thing I would recommend changing is requiring the test boxes to be read individually. I, personally, learn best from listening to content. Pretty much the entire course used the read-to-me function, but because I have issues reading extensive paragraphs and syphering information from said paragraphs, I found myself skipping important content or not grasping the full content as needed.

Too much detail on subprime mortgages, derivatives, bonds etc. Appropriate for a class on financial management but too in-depth for an insurance ethics class
This class and the test was very easy and understandable. My only suggestion is maybe to get a person to read aloud rather than a computer. Other than that, it was great!

I do like the read to me portion. It makes it easier to keep focused but the number 0 were read as alphabetical sounds instead of numeric.
Instead of a robot voice, use a normal voice to read the content.

It takes time to adjust the speed of reading aloud each chapter. Allow it to be chosen once at the beginning and not each chapter.
Liked the pre testing after each chapter and ease in understanding the content

The audio feature really helped with absorbing the material.
The monotone voice could be updated. I also had him read the whole class and still had an hour before I could take the test. More content?

I really like the ability to turn off the audio option and go at my own pace, and I like the ability to look up my answers easily.

I liked the "Comment" section, the summary paragraph that helped cement the information . It was very helpful.
I didn't like the read it to me voice. It droned and so was very hard to follow because your mind just falls into kind of fuzziness.

Section 2 seemed too long and drawn out. I feel like a lot of the content could have been condensed and still get the same point across. Especially only one question in the final exam actually asked anything about those scenarios.
I wish there wasn't a final exam. I think the quizzes were sufficient.

it was great! it would be nice if the volume button didn't reset every single time I hit the next page. same for the audio speed. I preferred the speed of 1.4 and it would have been great for it to hold that speed throughout the content without having to adjust it for every page.
I think it would be nice to have more visuals associated with the content of the course.

I have used WebCE or several years
I find it a bit confusing navigating the IRMI website to find where my courses are stored that I have paid for. It would be very nice if a link were clearly labeled at the top of the opening page that would take me right to them. I don't mind the multiple passwords but searching is the problem due to the fact that I am not on the site regularly.

I actually did not like read-it-to-me audio, but at least that was an option.
The audio is computerized, therefore not conducive to learning. The computer reads each module like one incredibly long sentence.

This is the first course I've taken from WebCE with the audio read-it-to-me feature. I found it a little distracting to both hear the audio and read the screen text at the same time, but there are likely others who prefer the audio. I will try it out again on another course to see if I get additional benefit once I'm accustomed to it.

Instead of the computer generated voice reading the material, video of a person going through the items would have been more beneficial.
The voice on the audio sounded like it was computer generated. It would have been nice to have a more normal sounding voice reading the script
On a couple of the sections it gave you interactive questions to review. If you got the answers wrong, it wouldn't tell you which was the correct answers. Perhaps after a couple of times trying and not getting it right, the system should tell you which are the correct answers.
your questions were written with not enough details~ one word changes the answers and its like a trickery game.

Difficult to find
Lesson was too long, wordy, too many chapters
Actually I wish I started with this website, its a far better system for CE credits then other competitors that I have tried.
The monotoned reader was putting me to sleep. I'd recommend getting an actual person with some inflection in their voice to read the course.
The only issue I had while going through this course, was run-on sentences. Other than that, it was very informative. And the examples were great!

Videos and visuals may help. They can be cheesy but it breaks up the monotony.

The only thing I did not like was finding my most recent place in the materials if I had to save/exit and come back. For some reason I did not come back to where I left off. Otherwise the experience was good.

The gentleman who is reading the script in this course mispronounces some words and misreads various punctuation pauses, starts and stops which, at times, was distracting (unless "he" is an AI entity, then he read it as well as he could based on the way this was written, then all bets are off.)
At my age of 86 yrs and in this business for over 56 I do not like having to take a test in order to keep my commission on business that I wrote 5 or 6 years ago.
The course had a lot of extraneous information which took extra time to read. I read all information although there were a few parts I only skimmed… Therefore, this 3 credit hour course took me 3.5 hours to complete. Extraneous information should be limited or removed. I have used WebCE for many years and that is the only thing I would change.

The speaker for the audio's voice is to monotonous. He needs more inflection, his voice puts me to sleep
I like the content, tests and materials are easily accessible. However, I don't know how to get back to the homepage for the remainder of the course ... small problem, I will log in again. Suggestion: after one test is complete, maybe a button to get back to the homepage.
I have used WEBCE for all my CE renewals since I've been an agent. Information is easy to understand and examples help your knowledge of understanding.

Good presentation and clear path to completion
I found chapter 2 difficult and confusing, long and tedious. However, I did like the different scenarios and different solutions you should consider.

The test questions were horrible! I understand Ethics. You can tell by my practice tests, but the actual text questions were horrible, and not understandable. Please review them!

The class was reviewing a lot of information this the first chapters that did not seem relevant. Too much information. I have been in the business 30 yrs. The last chapters got to the guts of the subject.

I felt there was far too much content in course about Government agencies and Acts/Revisions, & not enough practical information regarding actual coverages and interactions with customers
One of the questions on the exam I believe was incorrect; it asked what was required to submit for flood insurance. I selected a photo and the system stated that was wrong. I do not believe the other answers were correct.
Easy to go at own pace and ability to start/stop as needed to for breaks.
Course was great, finding course not as great. Only way to access it was through non-accredited link which isn't intuitive

This course is very wordy and not as easy to follow and understand as other courses I'v taken.
Videos and stories of different flood situations and how they were handled.
I have only one negative issue. On one of the quiz questions the correct answer I gave was changed to a wrong answer by the program. This only happened on one quiz. Last year when I took some classes it happened several times. I have no other complaints. All went well.

I've found the other courses more beneficial as they contained significant examples to help better understand the content. Flood Insurance only had a handful of examples.
