On a daily basis, life and health producers deal with the formation and execution of legal contracts that take form and shape as insurance policies. Accordingly, producers should understand the legal concepts that are central to these contracts and to the business of transacting insurance. From an examination of insurance regulation to the basics of contract law, from the concepts of risk and insurable interest to consumer protections, this course discusses the general principles and doctrine of insurance law with which all producers should be familiar.

I did not like the fact that this course only included one or two exam questions for each chapter. I also did not appreciate that several questions on the final exam were from the exact same content. It was heavily loaded on chapter one.

The graphs and the accounting parts on the MEC discussion were totally confusing and mind boggling. I barely understood some and other calculations not at all. And I have tax preparer experience! It! ...boy was really confusing, and then not even on the test ...boy, am I glad! Stickin' with WebCE, tho'.

I enjoyed very much the simplicity of the course and navigation of the website.
the text was not easy to read. Too many words. You do not make clear what we should learn for the test. I spent alot of time on details and calculations that we apparently didn't need to know. I understand reading over it, but you should highlight or make clear what is important. The Summaries are very helpful.

The illustrations about death benefits really helped make concepts clear.
This course and exam was sub-part compared to other courses offered by WebCE. The test questions were repeated with different names/amounts and also they were at times ambiguous. Disappointed with this course.
Exam should match the material. There were questions that were not applicable to the chapters.
I'd like to see a more step by step breakdown on the calculations for the tax sections.
