The time that it took the training videos to run well exceeded the stated time frame listed on the course and the Practice test questions were often un-related to the proceeding videos and that actual exam. Just time consuming for no reason as it was also off topic.

Difficulty determining what to take to keep CE credits going. Some items can not be retaken and no way of knowing what can be applied to the license.

The lady doing the video was very boring. Excitement would help.

Speaker was mundane. Perhaps put some graphics or bullet-points on the screen along side of the speaker

I found the video was very biased to the liberal agenda. I could not understand much of her talking points as she used terms and language not familiar to everyday people. As far as WebCe, I have always used them and will continue to do so. It is very easy to use and the pricing is fair.

The review should be asked after you have confirmed that you paid for the CE, because otherwise, that would affect the review.

Ethics training always is very difficult, not because of the subject matter, but because there sometimes is a very fine difference between two choices. There may not be a wrong answer; only a better one. Due to the critical nature of grading, perhaps when providing ethical training, more concrete examples and/or queries should be utilized.

I dislike the fact that the videos did not include the transcripts. This made me regret my choice for video course as I am both visual and reading/writing learner. I need to see the material and hear it to absorb it.

I did not like that the test in each chapters were very tricky. They were almost backwards and unless you think that way, it's hard to get a good score.

Should be a 3 hr. course for the length of time it took to complete.

Several of the questions were written poorly/confusingly - the author used negative language like "what should they NOT do" but the answer was consistent with what the subject SHOULD do in that situation.

i prefer non-video course material, so you can go back and easily review any sections that you want to re-visit. This lady was great though. Good speaker!

I messed up how to do the reading option. This ended up making a very easy concept very confusing. I did really poorly on the tests, partly because I had to stop to talk to client. Will not do a video training again

Many questions had more than one answer due to ambiguous grammar. For example, the Chapter 4 practice test asked if a situation where there was only one correct answer was a certain type of dilemma. One of the possible answers was that it was not a dilemma, but that was marked wrong despite the instruction video clearly stating that having more than one correct answer is a defining feature of a dilemma.

Didn't like the video training at all, I'd rather read the materials.

I think that this was a very good course to take. It had a lot of content and examples to really think about the topic. I enjoyed it.

I must say i didn't know what to expect but it was not a difficult process. Also, in theory it keeps a well- rounded employee and thus Claims Associate on their toes and in front of the trends/perils we face in the industry. People have the e tendency to be and do many things when interacting w/them but more over the person that embodies integrity can always walk away feeling empowered. Just knowing you did what is ethically and morally correct makes the conscious SOUND. So, when we encounter the next call or person- we know and feel we are representing what is good and conscionable. This was a very good course to put in practical terms 'noteworthy. Nothing was taken for granted. Will always represent a person of integrity!

The wording of many questions includes double negatives and is confusing

I struggled with just having the video and not the text to read along. Although I passed with a 90%, I find it easier for me to see text while a voice is reading it through - maybe it's just me ! The lady who did this was great !

I realize that the questions need to have us/the learner think critically for our answers, but the way most of the practice questions are asked, is like someone who doesn't normally speak English well or doesn't practice proper grammar is asking the questions. Too frustrating to have to read the question over and over and over again, it doesn't allow any learning,it just adds stress.

I would have appreciated a transcript to go along with the course.

I found the material not focused on the insurance industry and was not interested in many of the justice v mercy etc. Questions were VERY misleading and unclear ,. Found the chapter exams quite frustrating. Definitely would not recommend.

The test was terrible!! Too many "negative questions" If you want to test our knowledge jusr aske the question. Don't try to trick us into the wrong answer.

This was one of the most interesting ethics CE courses I've taken. I appreciated the broad content as opposed to some courses that are more perfunctory.

I have trouble with the speed of the video. I cannot listen to things that slowly or my mind wanders. I found the ability to speed it up later in the course. Also, some of the references I am not sure I agree with totally.

Questions on the individual chapter were poorly written. Asking which one is "not" correct leads a person who knows the answer to inadvertently answer incorrectly. Some of the "incorrect" answers were more correct than the "correct" answers.

Many concepts were clear and factual, but some were subjective, opinion, or the courses own definition. The "search chapter..." function does not work.

More interactive content, more visual aids would improve the course

Please review the chapter quizzes for typos. The wording of the questions were often long winded and confusing to comprehend the core issue. Memorizing quotes is not a very helpful part of this kind of course.

I know these Ethics courses are challenging, but it would be helpful if you could break up the monotony with different speakers, providing short pieces of reading, different backgrounds behind the speakers, etc.

3 hour class took much longer than advertised.

The course provided great information.

This course attempted to distinguish between ethical and moral dilemmas while actually conflating them. The material should be pared down and refocused on insurance even more. There was a fair amount of "fluff" in this. Also, Groucho Marx was NOT a star of the silent film era. That was a disappointing moment during this course.

Too long but I assume it has to meet the hour requirements. Subject is fairly obvious.

First course on your website. Really good content. Took a lot longer than I thought it would though and that's unusual for me.

This course seemed long and tedious especially with the Anti-Fraud hour at the end.

I thought the course was a self study course, this more like sitting in a lecture. I prefer the self study courses as can get through them faster. Some sections were too long and over-descriptive such as section where we were given about 50 definitions for the word Fair. Overkill and a waste of my time.

The course was odd for insurance ethics. Some questions just seemed philosophical but not practical and some answers were subjective. This is mainly with regards to the practice exams.

Some of the quiz/exam questions are not straightforward.

The 3.0 course hours actually took closer to 5 hours of real time once the CA state requirement was added. Consideration should be given to increasing the credit hours or reducing the content to closer fit the advertised time.

I actually fell asleep multiple times during the video. It took me 3 days to complete this course. The presenter is very monotone and made the course material very boring

The questions with the "all are true EXCEPT" or "which is NOT true", are unnecessary and do nothing to enhance the curriculum or learning process. They are seemingly meant to confuse the reader as well.

I am 60 years old and have 36 years of experience in insurance claims and I found the presenter to be difficult to hold my attention and the examples used (Vietnam War, etc) to be outdated and unrelated to the ethical decisions in the insurance world. I found some of the examples citing "how it used to be" when there was desegregation and the comments on same-sex couples to be offensive. We don't need to use race or gender bias examples to teach insurance. Especially from a presenter who appears to have more knowledge than most about how it appeared in the past. Understand your audience. These are simply my opinions and not meant to insult but to bring a perspective.

Your sentences are double negatives and difficult to follow. It is as if you are trying to confuse the reader, rather than teach them about ethics.

Some of these questions makes no sense. Its as if someone was under the influence creating them. A test should be challenging, but not outright incomprehensible.

I was under the impression that the this was a 2 hour session. It took me more than 2 hours to complete it before the 1 hour anti-fraud training. So this was much longer than I expected.

The amount of buffering made it difficult to follow the course, yet CH. 14 and CH. 15 had no buffering.

I did not like having to watch all the videos before I could take the exam but I did like the person that was talking in the video. She was very clear and easy to understand.

The ethics course seemed to be somewhat bias to different cultures

I found it difficult to start over/ go back from the beginning and pick “read” instead video. The questions were convoluted and at times the answers seemed subjective. I understand this is part of the point of the topic, not black and white but I though the questions were more challenging than necessary.

Exam questions within the course were irrelevant in many cases to the course content. Like most insurance exams, not a test of what you learned/know, but how you take a test, which IMO, does not justify education.

Options for both reading and listening should be offered - this class only allowed listening (or cc). I love that WebCE gives a full year for classes purchased rather than competitors that only give a few months (60 days) with additional charges for additional time.

It wasn't apparent that I ordered a video format.

This section of Ethics was too long and my least favorite. The final exam questions were tricky, almost two answers could apply.

I did like the course but when it came down to the exams I was very confused I couldn't really figure out what I had studied, read, or heard but after some very long and painful questioning and studying on my own I figured the exams out and passed the test. I still think that it's easy and there really isn't much to improve on the course.

This new Ethics course was really informative and the videos were clear and concise.

Leave out english grammar based questions and ask questions in plain english

Overall very satisfied with IRMI, but this course was subpar - the content and the way it was written didn't feel conducive to a continuing education course.

In my first course taken this month, I could listen and read at the same time. For some reason, this was not available with this Ethics course and I was only able to view the video of the presenter. I could not see the written material until quiz or test taking checks. I may have been my error. Additionally, I didn't realize that I could spreed up the presenter's speech until the end of the course.

Maybe visual learning statistically works better for most, but personally I find it annoying. I want the default to be a written chapter that I can read and digest at my leisure - not a talking head reading it for me. I prefer the old text-only courses.

The instructor was easy to follow along with. She mentioned that she does the hiring for a firm she works with. I would love the opportunity to work with her.

Didnt care for the questions that read "except". Kind of confusing. Final test was excellent

This was the first time I used a video. It definitely took longer than just reading the course. I only took a few breaks to read certain points myself and use the facilities. I was not finished until nearly the four-hour mark. The information and content were good, however, I found it confusing at times. Practice question #2 for chapter 12, I answered A. The course indicated that a better answer would be D. The reason actually contradicted D and stated that A would have been a better answer. (Very confusing) In general, all of the the courses that I have taken this period, have had grammatical and spelling errors. With a little effort, all of the errors could and should be corrected.

Somer terminology was very similar and got confusing so maybe more visual breakdowns

I have used WebCE for many years and always have been very satisfied.

More challenging than in the past. Probably a good thing.

My concerns with the course involve the formatting of the practice questions. Many questions included grammatical errors or double/triple negatives that really just seemed to cloud the essence of the question. Several questions had multiple reasonable answers.

Like most was the video/audio Liked least was that a few of the practice questions were unclear in what was being asked. I had to read the questions several times before understanding the question and what was being asked.

I have used WebCE in the past and have been very pleased with the course. I do not like the new curriculum. I did not find it as practical as in the past. The videos may be a good idea but honestly take up way more time than the course requirements and time is always valuable.

That was a terrible course, and many of the questions were poorly written, bordering on incomprehensible. Additionally, there were numerous grammar/typographical errors.

I felt as though there were multiple correct answers for a few of the chapter tests. That was challenging.

I disagreed with a few answered, and your corrected answers agreed more with my "wrong" answer than the stated correct answer.

I liked the course. I completed an ethics course in my Masters Program, and several of the topics overlapped, so it's nice to see it's fairly standardized. Thank you.

The course took much longer to complete than the time given for CE hours. I think the quizzes both at the end of each session and the final exam are excessive. It should be one or the other.

Most topics were repeated in each chapter.

I had to search how to print the PDF it was not easily seen.

Using more visual aids to depict/demonstrate, outline or bullet point the points that are being made in the section - just having a lady stand there talking without visual aids made it very hard to follow what her point was and what the focus was. I was thankful for the limited slides that were included. But I found myself having to rewind a lot or just read the text for the message to stick.
