The read it to me format kept me on track and at a reasonable pace. In a world of distractions, this format was very helpful to me.

I really liked the option to be able to choose to listen to the audio or not to listen to the audio. thank you. this allowed me to take the work home and read and then come back and take the pre tests and then do the final. efficiently.

The only portions that I think could use a bit of updating is the use of "Tax Brackets" that are no longer represented in the current year for example, "Each is in the 28 percent tax bracket." with a table utilizing 28% and discussed 25% and a later portion that discussed 30% tax bracket. Content is still able to be understood.

The course is advertised as a 4-hour course. I listened to all the audio content, and it took almost 6 hours to complete it. I did "stop the audio" to study some of the graphs, etc (which I'm guessing added some "dead" time), but I think the audio content should be better matched to the advertised 4-hour course description

liked that I could go at my own pace. liked the summary questions at end of chapters and overall material was informative without being overwhelming. The ability to go back over the material.

Please this course can never be completed in 4 hours at a sitting . The technicality of the course will not allow you. You have to do in-depth reading to know what it is all about.

It is all decent the think i would recommend is give more examples how to do the math and also make the audio pause to 5 seconds or so between paragraphs that way it is easer to find your place if you happen to get lost

This program was easy to follow and understand compared to other programs I have used. The terminology was in Lehman terms, and I didn't feel like the material went over my head of comprehending

Less Variable Annuity content

This is the worst annuity class I have taken. Why are agents selling fixed annuities being tested on variable products? Night and day from the California course! Just horrible.

I do not think it is appropriate to have all the questions and content regarding Variable Annuities in this course. I do not sell VA's and therefore this content is irrelevant. you should have a seperate course for producers looking for VA continuing ed

I thought it was okay but I think you guys could really work on finding the products that I need for my education.That was a little difficult and a little hard to quite understand where to find what I needed

I was really overwhelmed about there being so much information on the exam. I was scared you were going to ask things in "the weeds". I felt the exam was fair even though I was panicking.

For me it was confusing identifying the product and enrolling. Once I got registered it was clear going forward.

One thing I noticed was in the Alzheimer's exercise in the Best Interest module, the buttons you were told to click didn't provide the comparison they said they would. Maybe it was me, but I couldn't get that part to work.

First time using Web CE. Found it to be much more user friendly than my normal provider.

I know it takes money and time but It would have been much easier to absorb the information if it did not appear that the voice over was from a virtual or artificial source. There were snags, repetitions, mispronunciations, repetitions of mispronunciations. Enough that in this day and age it appeared to have the ear marks of the artificial. Otherwise the course content was very well done, the videos and interactive sections especially helped to solidify the information.

your site interface and finding courses can be a challenge to navigate, but aside from that 5 stars honestly all the other aspects of the site itself make it not even really matter

auto read was a pain - i would install a pause into the process that actually stops the reading so that you can go to the illustration without it continuing to run

I realize the requirement of passing the exam and needing to review the content, but setting a hard 4 hour required limit is a bit much considering the different speeds and learning capabilities of the many individuals that use the materials all vary greatly. Probably could have read and completed the required pieces in about an hour.

The material was great. It was just time consuming for those that know and understand the material that could have completed the course in one hour to take four hours to complete.

Some of the quiz questions are a bit vague and open to interpretation, wherein numerous answers apply, and no "best" answer is apparent. The AI voice is still irritating, but does the job well enough.

The course was too long. I have been using WebCE for years. This course is to long for a 4 hour course.

Having to wait 4 hours to take the test was ridiculous. I sat for hours waiting.

I like everything. The only thing I did not like was that when I saved the material. When I log out have to start all over from the beginning to continue with the course. That's time-consuming.

The last exam grade was not correct. There were 5 questions which I got correct, but the grade was 94%.

The timer is unnecessary.

All was good, the depth of some of the information was higher than necessary for a producer, but overall fine.

I was informed about the proctor monitoring requirements for this course after I paid for it. They have to be disclosed before, not after.

I like the audio but sometimes he pronounce words incorrectly that throws me off a bit. The way he says numbers is not always correct.

It was a little confusing at the end. I was reviewing the question that I missed and the page went away. I am not able to get the right answer. Also, I was disappointed that I am not able to go back into the course to see if there are any further instructions or information about the appendix. I did get the download of the course but am wondering about the right answer and the appendix.

I would like to have an option to print out the course so that I could highlight it as I was going along. This helps me learn better.

These are IRS penalties, NOT Insurance carrier penalties. It’s implied, but there’s a ton of info here and may be confusing to some people, as carrier penalties are discussed in previous sections. Also a ? – in Section 5.6 you state that annuities become part of one’s estate. BUT annuities have NAMED BENEFICIARIES, and should bypass probate. Are you saying that even though they avoid probate, they do become part of one’s estate? Thank you!

For packages making the specific learning material better known because i almost purchased a 24 hour course material without knowing i only had to pick the 4 hour because it wasnt shown initially i only had to do 1

I think longer pre-test would have been helpful as I found the final exam to be somewhat difficult. I could've used more prep without having to retake the entire course.

I had one video that would not load, but overall it was an excellent training.

Required time is silly. I know that it is likely a regulatory minimum (like drivers education), but I read faster than the AI voice and would be able to complete the course in 1/ 2 half the time. Also, the material in this TX 4-hour course is virtually identical to eth 4-hour course that I completed for CA less than 1-year ago. These should be transferable between states (where possible).

I liked the overall structure of the course content and illistrations, as one who struggles with visual affects do to ADHD I would like to see more efficiently explinations with less words, though this is a lengthy subject, there were obsticles I had to overcome the avg. Student doesn't struggle with. Still Solid course!

I took the annuities 4 hour course. there was an Altzheimer's interactive to click on different topics. When I clicked on them, nothing happened, so, I was unable to compare those with the age related issues.

The audio was bad--it is sounded AI and lacked inflection--too monotone. I finally turned it off as it was too distracting.

One fix. The auto-play feature didn't work on my iPhone when the option appeared. Great course, and I will consider taking CE and other courses with WebCE.

Recent course content seems more thorough than previous courses.

The time requirement for this course was misleading in my opinion. It required about 5 hours of time. In addition, the "reading" is very distracting because the voice appears AI driven. The inflection of the voice is off putting and therefore, distracting.

Provide more options for the rate of speed of the audio reading. Make the speed option controls more evident. Move the location of the audio controls.

I took this course to market fixed and indexed annuities. Much of the content was geared towards VA, which I didn't want to know about, or be tested on.

i think yalls questions were a bit confusing. i am dyslexic and it would have been beneficial to have some accommodations. take care!

I am a slow learner and the read it too me audio is too fast and the monotone of the voice was distracting and nearly put me to sleep. The voice needs to be more interesting without influencing the listeners thinking.

Statements that Fixed Indexed Annuities have a guaranteed interest rate which credits in down-market years is largely incorrect. Most FIA's credit Zero in those years...and the Guarantee only comes into play when comparing ultimate value at liquidation.

Some parts of this section had too much information and made it difficult to recall by the time I reached the practice questions.

I liked that when I accidentally left the completed screen wthout continuing that I didn't lose my place and was able to continue. Example: Somehow, when I advanced my screen for questions 21-25 the page disappeared. I was able to go back and hit continue and my selected answers were still marked for my previous questions 1-20. Phew! I liked being able to go at my own pace by either listening and reading along or reading ahead.

It's better to add the contents about Roth annuities' taxation into the chapter of "Taxation of Annuitized Income". For example, does the lifetime income from a Roth annuity have to pay tax starting at some point or tax free for the lifetime?

Determining the mathematical formula for annuitization and some exercises for this would be helpful.

The "Read-it-to-me" audio was very unpleasant to listen to. A human reading the content, rather than an automated reading, would have been greatly preferred.

The course was great and helped me pass the test. But Indiana's state requirement to have someone with you in person or virtually is ridiculous. This is a continuing ed course. The 20 minutes it took me to finish is a waste of time for someone else to monitor.

Throughout the material, abbreviations were used in place of the product/service being discussed. For new agents, this can be confusing and overwhelming. Of course, the product/service was introduced by its full name, but wasn't used as its full name afterwards.

You should remove the version of this course that doesn't provide CE credits. Having to do this twice was frustrating.

The detail in the teaching part of the course very very detailed and at times cumbersome. The exam was very fair and balance and was easy to understand. I spent 8 hours on the course and 20 minutes taking the test. The fee was worth the cost of the exam.

Good information. To long the material. You should provide review of test if fail to go over wrong answer and to get the right answer after. A lotto web site do that and people look for quick, easy and waste time. You are losing business making it hard.

The word "annuity" was misspelled in one of the videos. Also, regarding the advantage of tax deferral, it is misleading and incorrect. Annuities specifically cause the gains to be taxed as ordinary income (marginal brackets) rates. An alternative investment option would cause the gains to most likely be taxed as capital gains rates, and even those are only upon selling of the specific holdings, so the comparative tax rate isn't even the full capital gains rate, nor is it annual. These examples are typical, misleading insurance wholesaler and agent sleeziness.

My only negative critique. would be that I would like to have the option to go over the material again.

I like everything, except these two things: [1.] If want to start randomly any course you want to start you can not do that. First you have to finish 1, 2, and then 3th. You can not start 3th one before 1 and 2nd one. [ 2.] This is regarding Final Exam. AT the end of Exam there is not showing any review about correct answers. It just shows only how many you got wrongs. If no one knows what mistake he/she has made, then how he/she can correct it. or fix it before knowing the correct answers. If you could fix this problem. It will be awesome. I appreciate your time ? and support.

Felt like some of the information provided was not relevant to the exam

On the top that shows how much of the training you have completed, it appears to not be based on how long each section is, just how many sections there are. If that is the case, please adjust that. To have one section take 1 minute and 27 seconds seem to be a similar completion rate as one that is 12 minutes skews the percent completed.

Read Aloud voice is out dated and monotone. I have worked with other courses that have instructors reading and sometimes presenting the information to us on video. More interactive multiple choice type mini "tests" or interactive videos within the coursework. I will say that if a producer is on a budget and needs CEs, this was hands down the best deal. The content is up to date and through.

this course was very well written unlike content from other providers.

The material was good in the lessons themselves. I think the questions were far easier than a lot of the content in the lessons. I would encourage including some deeper questions AND adding the ability to retake the chapter review questions. The videos were a good include and would make for great descriptions of examples if more were incorporated into the program. Unfortunately, none of the interactive activities were operating for me (i was using Google Chrome). A lot of the diagrams that were provided weren't particularly helpful. Specifically the one illustrating the sub-accounts. That felt especially unnecessary.

Why do I have to have the Course open for 3 hrs. if I finished within 2 hours. This is such a waste of time. I though CE was about knowledge not the length of time you can set there until you can move on to a new course.

I found the amount of information during the time of instruction to be quite intense, although I learned a few facts I was unclear about before the coures. I felt the test was fair, especially in regard to the amount of information presented during the course.

The only issue I incarnate was found essay the appropriate course on the web side.

The course points the producer in the right direction with clear and precise information.

The AI readings of the written material were pretty cumbersome at times, but I was able to overcome that through pausing the video and re-reading it myself.

I have never encountered the requirements for a proctor before. If I wanted to be inconvenienced with this concern, I would have went to a physical center to take my tests. It is extremely inconvenient given the strict criteria of not using someone in your family or in your own business practice. Very few people are left.

The read it to me audio was a bit monotonous. It could have been replaced with a real human reading as the machine reading is not sounding good

THERE ARE AT LEAST 3 INSTANCES WHERE IT SAYS SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER ILLUSTRATION AND THERE WAS NOTHING THERE JUST BLANK AREAS.

First, if this course was supposed to be a course on Regulation Best interest - why was over 2/3 of the course on annuities and didn't get to Regulation Best interest until the last 1/3. Honestly, I spent more time on the tax ramifications of an annuity. It could have been done with more consideration toward best behavior and serving clients with their best interest. Maddening.

Sometimes searching for the courses and adding them to cart is confusing. Would be better if we get message like following: " selected course is not needed" or " you already got credit for selected course" etc. Hope this comment will help improve the navigation of the website.

How can I get a copy of my score report, or further look into questions I missed?

I like how the course was easy to follow and how comprehensive it was, except for the appendices. However, the course was thorough and increased my knowledge about annuities.

Was surprised that the exam had more detailed annuity scenarios that what I thought the main focus of suitability was. Add more detailed scenarios in the training. The suitability portion of the training was spot on.

Not sure why I had to sit through 4 hours of content, when I was able to read thru it in 1.5 hours and already know the content inside and out. I'm quite disappointed that I was forced to waste additional working hours on this. I do understand that 4 hours is required - but this is a target number, some can get it done in two hours, others may need 5 hours. In my opinion, it's about understanding the content, not how long it took you.

The exam was very easy but the presentation went into a lot more detail than seemed necessary for th subject matter to be covered

Great instruction. The reading was very fast and bland. AI might need to be slowed down to better reflect the statements.

The person reading the content seemed to be robotic and no inflection did not pronounce the words properly it was more distracting than helpful

The read-it-to-me audio was a nice feature. However, for my learning style, I prefered reading on my own.

The auto play option did not work for me. I had to press play each time I advanced the slide deck. Not detrimental, but slightly less efficient.

Question 17 (if I remember correctly) gave all incorrect answers. I'm pretty sure answer is $185,000 but this option was not available. $180,000 was the closest.

I especially liked the read out loud feature and the fact that I could increase the speed it was read.

The only recommendation I would make was to allow a download of the sample forms via a pdf in the appendixes. Also, when viewed they were very small so it would be better to have a larger view. Thanks so much!

I disliked how long the course was. I'm joking but if I had a complaint it would be the four hour time period.

Over the years I have found that using Web CE has always made the necessary learning objective clear and allowed for us FL producers to continue to be the most proficient in the industry.

I DO like having a narrator read the content to me. However, your AI narrator is awkward. I could list dozens of examples where he got things very wrong. Whatever you paid for this AI deal, I'd narrate it for you for HALF of that. And read it with proper inflection. One exam question seemed to have no correct answer. The one regarding death benefit of an annuity for which the joint annuitants had received $50,000. $100k invested, grew to $235k. No mention of whether the $50k was annuitized payments or simply withdrawals (so BEFORE annuitization of AFTER annuitization...?) But overall, this is a well-constructed course.

This four-hour course took WAAAAY longer than four hours to complete. Good information, but it should have had a higher value than four hours of CE credit.

The voice audio was helpful in keeping pace, but it was very robotic sounding.

This course does NOT take 4 hours to complete. I was able to pass the chapter exams in 15 minutes. I scored 100 on the final exam. In the meantime I spend 6 hours trying to keep the course live and open to get the 4 hours in. Ridiculous!

The material was complex. Some of the explanations of concepts were lacking. Some of the terms used were not properly defined. Took way longer than 4 hours to complete. Complicated subject matter.

The course was too long... You advertise this as a 4 hour course when in fact it is more like a 6-7 hour course... That makes it not reasonable to take... We need to figure out a better way of educating this information... Webinar's would work better I think...

The Alzheimer's interactive brochure did not work. I re-watch the entire section 3 times, even completely logging out and it still did not work. I finally moved on and hoped it would not show the course incomplete.

Mind boggling redundancy, but a fair exam.

Need additional courses in ethics, LTC 4 hr and annuity best interest -- offer two in required subject matter so that I can easily take the course in the next renewal period and alternate courses so that they are 2 years apart.

I would prefer to see the answers that I did not get correct.

The audio, even at speed 1.0, was a little fast, but easy to pause and re-read what was stated. It wasn't the best cadence, and the pronunciation of some words was comically inaccurate, but helpful all the same.

As a decades experienced agent, i feel the course was a little too challenging for a newer agent. some of the questions seemd arbitrary to the goal of Best Practices.

There were too many test. It would have been less time consuming to provide all the information, give an optional quick practice and have a test will all question at the end. This course was also very expensive. I even had to add a class just to get 2 more needed hours but actually paid for 4. Stop taking advantage of people. I have NO income.

Some of the material about the annuities seemed to be very repetitive and it made the course feel much too long and tiresome. I would try to reduce the redundancy of some topics if possible or make the redundant topics more interactive to make it more engaging to avoid getting bored and annoyed with the material.

Not everyone needs the audio. Perhaps a statement up front that the audio is optional for those who want it. But, reading the material and hitting the continue button at the bottom is also an acceptable way to take the course

It took me far longer to complete the course, compared to the advertised time, it wasn't accurate at all for me. The mini-test within the chapters are very helpful. I would recommend you include more of those.

I don't like that a person can't do all the courses/tests in one day. I liked being able to block my time and keep the topics top of mind...breaking it up over several days was wasteful as I had to go back and review before testing....

The Proctored policy is inconvenient.

Honestly, it took me probably six plus hours to complete a four hour section. Some of it is to much in depth with taxation but I can understand why it's necessary.

The voice over could be better. He talks fast without natural pauses and can be hard to follow.

This course and the last course I took (Life and Health Essentials) , had pieces in the information that were missing. There were parts that said' ''PDF Exclude Start'' and '' PDF Exclude End''/ Also some blanks pages on the PDF or printed versions. More space needs to be provided for this field, in which comments are made, as well. Also for this course, it would have been a good idea to advise one needs a calculator. The last course I took, Life and Health essentials, never gave a screen to click for a survey nor for the certificate. This got pre-empted by the screen that asked if I wanted to see what questions I got wrong. On that last note, the screen that showed the questions that were wrong, it in fact did not show what was wrong and would have been the correct answer. it just showed the question and the possible answers. Finally, some work needs to be done with the voice doing the reading. It is fairly good, but with the subject matter, some parts need more appropriate intonation changes, some words are not pronounced correctly therefore the meaning is lost. And divisions between paragraphs and sections need to be made more obvious. More space needs to be provided for this comment section in this review. It is too small of a box.

The amount of time to complete this course was ridiculous. A total waste of my time. I was finished in an hour and a half and had to stay on an additional two hours to complete. Some of us read faster than others and I prefer to read rather than listen to audio. I had already taken the Florida 4 hour course just before this one so information was familiar. This absolutely ruined my evening.

4 hours is a really long time. I am not looking forward to the 8 hour CE I'll be taking soon.
