GOOD COURSE

There was a lot of misused jargon. And untrue "facts" A lot of it was repetitive.

Whomever wrote the questions was hilarious. The various pop culture references to Saved By the Bell, Handmaid's Tale, and other media were a welcome distraction from the very dry content. As with most of these classes, the AI narrator was boring and monotonous, making it hard to listen to him.

Way too much content that did not apply to insurance coverag.

I always like having chapter tests within the study material. It breaks up the monotony of reading 142 pages

Wish test was easier. Not so complicated

This course way way longer than 6 hours. There were way to many acts to have to remember.

I wish the audio feature had an actual person reading the material out loud. There is no substitute for that-AI is insufficient. And I would greatly prefer listening to audio or watching a video than having to read the entire course.

Don’t include this in a personal lines package.

I found the course very easy to use, including being able to stop and then resume.

I work for Alliant - and invest/manage startups in the cannabis space. I'm one of a few big company producers in the US that focus exclusively on commercial insurance for cannabis companies. Anyhow... The review of the cannabis industry was extremely insightful, and clearly well thought out. I think you should publish it as a primer / white paper to be shared. Obviously there is a ton of info out there - but i think this is pretty unique.

Excellent content and course. Well designed and yet challenging. Learned a lot about the Cannabis industry and specifically coverages.

This was a longer course than the CGL 10 CE credit course which is counterintuitive.

Chapter 5-8 was super informative Insurance-wise.

I learned so much from this course, it was very interesting.

After working in cannabis compliance for 4 years in the State of Michigan, I can say some of this information is inaccurate at this point though I do understand it is meant to be a broad understanding of processes that have varying rules and regs.

It was good to see fairly up-to-date/new content. I have a couple of clients in this industry so useful to have more background on their business/risk challenges.

Would be nicer if it was more interactive and their were real life claims examples provided by a video recorded instructor. Only complaint is that it is a little boring in this type of format.

The course was described as personal lines, but it really felt like more of a commercial lines course.

Ironically, the module involving weed was one of the better-written ones of my package, save for Ethics.

With the rise in Cannabis related opertions/businesses that need insurance, this course was extremely helpful

New materials and very interesting. Including the historical background of Cannabis was very informative.

Exam question 37, "John Riddle attempted suicide by hanging himself..." is inappropriate, offensive, in poor taste, and just wrong on so many levels.

Great information, no issues. This test was one of the hardest. I really had to think about the policies, endorsements and exclusions part.

This course was very interesting; however, if you are not interested in the subject matter, it can be real confusing. In summary this is a class that needs to be offered live vs virtual. Additional work is needed for this class since the law is opposing against medical marijuana.

Some information seemed repetitive and could have been summarized more. Otherwise, it was a very interesting, informative class.

I liked that while audio options were available, they weren't required to complete the course. In my experience, video content is often added to courses to unnecessarily stretch or pad out the material. I found this course to be very well researched and presented. It was engaging and to-the-point.

Very intense course and a lot of information provided. I found that in section on History the time lines seemed to be off as one minute you are learning about 1530 and next you are reading about 1900, then it jumps from 1930's to the 1960's. It was just kind of difficult to follow.

I found this course to be way too long and tedious with information that was not needed in order to meet the objective regarding insuring this type of business. I would NEVER take this course again!

This was a subject I was unfamiliar with and the most interesting and informative CE I have had in years.

I learned more about marijuana from this course in a few hours than I learned throughout all my twenties.

This course was a brain twister. It was definitely in line with the confusion between state and federal laws. I was in no way aware of the laws or the conflict. WOW , it was a mind drainer.

The basic descriptions about types of Marijuana and hemp explanations, were informative. This has Good Content overall.

I would like to see a better word "Search" method. It would be an added feature if the application would automatically take you to the search word rather than have it highlighted.

For the cost of the course, I was disappointed to see that it was just text followed by exams. I also felt all mentions to insurance were very generalized and not overly specific to any insurance focus other than businesses. This did not seem written by someone with a clear intention on teaching the insurance industry about cannabis policies, but more so provided a general overview of how I could possibly start my own cannabis company in a grey legal area...Everything seemed very generalized and sourced from other places. After the first few chapters that did not cover cannabis in the insurance industry, you lost my attention and focus. I can't say I would recommend this course to anyone. I would advise them to use a popular search engine for this information and save their money for other courses that are more relevant to what the insurance industry actually does and how it operates.

The portion about the Exclusions Exclusions, were not clear initially if something was actually excluded or not. The wording was awkward. How about just saying (________) is excluded but due to exclusions of that exclusion, (________) is covered. It was just about the part about 1530 and such...

It might be beneficial to break up longer chapters and include bullet-point summaries at the end of each unit.
