I picked a course for the basics of life insurance. There was a lot of tax information, which made this much harder than learning the basic life insurace. I would have thought that amount of detail should be covered in another course for taxes for life insurance.

Otherwise, I appreciated that there wasn't too many "interactive" things. Too many can be cumbersome and distracting to flow. Great course. Will recommend.
The only thing I'd like to see improved is that the audio sometimes used the wrong word (spelled the same, but pronounced differently and clearly wrong from context) and was clunky in other situations (like A - P - S for APS).

The questions were not gotcha. I have been doing this for a while and I could reasonably reduce choices and make educated guesses on things I was not sure about. And that is how life works! In the field I would look it up to be sure, but here I could guess and I was surprisingly correct!

I all honestly I feel; once an agent has had their license for a total of 5 or more years without any infractions, we should have the option to attend a class with a licensed instructor who can do an overview and educate us on any updates that may have occurred in our licensed field.
The course was quite simple. I could have gone to the exam with little reading.
Being over 80,but makes one think about elder financial abuse. It is for real not only with people but business as well. I could share several issues.with companies taking advantage of elders.
I would recommend a bolder font to make reading easier.
I didn't like the voice/AI used and would have preferred a real person reading the material. The punctuation and emphasis was off and awkward which is distracting when you're trying to absorb the material.

The course had a heavy component on insurance product sales, which is not a customary business for investment advisor representatives. The course should be more focused on IARs, who are already under a fiduciary standard and not product salespeople.
Most of your courses have 5 questions per section/chapter for each quiz, this course had 6 questions with same score of 70% pass requirement. Curious as to why the difference as this course becomes statically harder to pass each section/chapter. Would prefer consistency among courses.

I believe there's an error. With term life insurance, the death benefit is typically included in the decedent's gross estate even if the beneficiary is not the estate. This is because the owner/insured will normally have some incidents of ownership (e.g. ability to change beneficiary, etc.).

There were 100 pages of content to go through. It took me more than 5 hours to study this. There was SO much information I was pretty overwhelmed, but then when I took the test it really focused more on the basics of Life Insurance. Which I was very thankful about otherwise I might not have passed as there was so much information in the study guide. Thank you.

Like many in the business (& I am retiring) I have been in the Med Supp/Life side for my entire 25 yrs. and I was prompted to mentally review my policies - great admirer of Annuities and Life- and I will do some re-arranging and familiarization with my beneficiaries and will also coach them on their Life policies.
Only struggle was some of the examples for tax calculations. It was not completely clear to me from the examples given where the figures came from.

I always use your courses to obtain my CE credits. It's always easy to use and a good value for the price. I have been using WebCE since 1995.
I am older now and do not know if I will renew my license in two years. It may be helpful to present all the information about a topic in one chapter instead of building on it later again. I have to do bits at a time for study and have many interruptions as I follow along.

It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.

THE TIME IT TOOK TO COMPLETE THE COURSE WAS DOUBLE THE TIME STATED.
The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that

I really wish there was an easier way to either block my access to open book content or make the proctor requirement less burdensome for independent advisors working distant from populated office environments. I realize this is not a WebCE rule but it makes it more challenging when I review content late at night after work hours and then have to go locate a non-family, non-employee, non-partner 3rd party. I don't have easy access to this.

Too much information. Glad most of it was not in the final exam. A lot of the information was "over the top" -- especially regarding estate taxation and federal taxation of life insurance. The insurance comparative costs were also too much.

All is fine. Learned a lot from the course.
At least five interactive charts didn't function in a standard Chrome browser that is up to date and operating system is up to date. So the sliding features of the interactive buttons would never reveal the data underlaying them. So I had to guess which is is completely useless. I don't need fancy graphs. I need the data to be visible. You should have a secondary system of revealing information just in case your fancy graphics failed which they did repeatedly. I'm on a brand new computer with the latest operating system.

When speaking to a person with cognitive impairment, it is frequently counterproductive to point out the cognitive impairment to the person suffering from it. More diplomatic approaches are necessary to keep the client engaged and obtain the information and action needed to protect the client.
The self pace and ease of taking these classes online at home. The explanations of missed questions and the ease of going back to review the chapters is most helpful.
The last slide about the NASAA act was very helpful.

Question 25 "With Respect to financial capacity as people age, which statement is true? The answer was "Financial Capacity begins to decline as people age"....I don't think this is true. Based on my research Financial Capacity peaks around 54. Therefore it wouldn't start to decline after 54. I think this question should be revised.

First, you should know that these comments are coming from a person who skipped the course content, took the exam directly, and scored a 93% (28/30). The exam questions were, in many cases, poorly worded (especially the final 20).

The quiz did not properly portray the exam. There were few quiz questions that matched the exam questions. These should be built to test ones own understanding of the exam. This is completely unsatisfactory.

My answers that are less than positive are primarily directed toward the estimated time to complete the total module. You advised me that it was 38 mins. In reality, perhaps 38 mins per individual module. There were 5 modules, therefore the time estimate should me around 200 minutes to complete plus taking the final exam. Please provide an correct estimate of the total time to complete, and it is not 38 mins.

Please reconsider use of terms like "golden years" and "suffering" with a condition (such as hearing loss). The 1st feels like the opposite of the admonition not to use a phrase like "young lady/gentleman." The 2nd is able-ist. People *live* with these conditions, they don't necessarily suffer. While I'm against people-first language, it might suit here. Also, something I think that could be added is that it's important to ask your client how they prefer to be communicated with; some folks, for whatever reason (including deaf/hard of hearing), might want a text or email and not a phone call.

The opportunity to retake the questions through which one builds additional level of understanding is a thing I like most.
Content okay.
The learnings didn't help me understand the math of these types of plans and I struggled with the quizzes because of it.
Much of the course content goes into far more depth than is required for the exam which makes the content more confusing and intimidating.

I think the time stated to complete the courses should be stated as taking a little longer than originally stated. Misspelled an answer which gave a totally different meaning. Example: If an insured names minors as beneficiaries, the insurer might require that a guardian hold the policy death benefit proceeds until when? a. The minors were married b. The minors reach majority c. The minors are past age 30 d. The minors are retired I believe the answer is b, but majority should be maturity
The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.
very good & quite informative course of web corse, but one point I tell u that 1)Term life 2)Whole life 3) universal ,these 3 products are only salable (90%) in whole USA,, why we are vesting our energy for10% ?

The voice audio is robotic and uses wrong tenses for words, such as presents.

The instruction was very clear and easy to follow, the course is great.
I passed all the sections but some of them were very challenging and it took me many tries because I couldn't fully comprehend some of the tricky sections, like taxation, and numbers sections. But overall I was able to gain a lot more knowledge.

There were a few topics that seemed to me to venture a little too far into the professional workings of a CPA, such as the tax advantages and disadvantages of estate planning concepts - areas only people with appropriate licenses should advise. Everything else was relative to the insurance profession.

Have been in the industry for 28 years. Half of the material in this course is VERY advanced for most life insurance sales professionals. Would suggest removing some of the detailed material on Life Insurance in Qualified Plans as an example, and replacing it with other material.

This course was very informative and gives a great indication of what to expect in years to come as we age. I would recommend you take notes that will be very helpful in the near future as well to educate others concerning this subjective. I was shocked I learned so much information from this study course. I would advise not to rush the course although it's earnings of hours are only allotted 3 hours credit. The course will take at least 4.5 hours to finish. Again I enjoyed the course!
I felt like that for some of the questions on the exam, which involved basic math skills, there was not always enough information in the question to accurately do the computations for the answers. It was super confusing!

You do need to better proof-read your content. I have found multiple repeated words or words left out. One other comment: The question I got wrong did not record the correct answer from me. I did not click A, I clicked C.

Base on other 3 hour courses that justified the amount of time it took to complete said course. This "4" hours course was in excess of of 4 hours to complete, Hence, re-evaluation of the credits for this course to be investigated and reconsidered for future purposes.

I know there is an allotted time for the 24 hours but I could have read the material myself and finish before the time if it was an option. I like being able to listen and not having to read. Using the search bar to find answers, the search was highlighted but you would still have to scroll to find the info. It would have been nice for the highlighted material to pop up along with telling you it was found...going to the text automatically.
The videos that simply set up a dilema I found to be more distracting than engaging.

This is my issue with the courses, I have very limited time, if the course gives me two hours of CE I expect to take two hours to complete the CE. I have run the audio through the list of courses I bought, without exception so far, each audio lasted 20-45 minutes longer than the credit given/reportable. Not fun

When you asked me to use "slider" it didn't work until I found arrows on my computer. Also when asked to click on extra comments during section of what is "normal" vs abnormal aging I was down to the 3rd before I noticed there was "normal"

I chose "agent" because that is the name we use on a client's power of attorney designation, "agent" and "principal", not fiduciary. You should remove that answer as an option. It is confusing.

far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.
This was about Term life insurance but the course spent a lot of time talking about permanent life insurance and how it was superior to term.
Some of your exam questions are poorly worded and some have no relevance in today’s marketplace
1. You have to keep on changing the volume level each time you move on to the next page. 2. The search finder sucks. It will not take you to the highlighted section.
Who writes this material? The only positive thing about the course is that I don't have to take it for another two years.

The last 3 subjects were a bit confusing at the time of the exam, more theory time and examples I feel are needed for these 3 subjects.

Improper pronunciation and improper inflection by the AI reader was annoying but also made the presentation easier to listen to. It was sort of fun listening for the mistakes.

I like the read it to me option. I would like to be able to go back and forth to video format too. It would help to be able to give it verbal commands such as read out loud, next page, back or stop. Exams should be able to be read out loud and then to give it a verbal response so it’s all hands free. I liked that you had an option of re-reading your test questions before submitting. I like the multiple choice format.

For me anyway, this is a very convenient way to meet some of my CPE requirements.
The audio reading is very slow and reading comprehension is not my preferred learning method. I would have liked to see a little more interactive style and more case study involved in the course. The material and information was very relevant and informative, I just had a hard time keeping attention through the course modules. This feedback in particular has more to do with the layout not matching my learning style that the quality of the material.

The course presented solid material that was factual and easy to read and digest.
This is an area that is evolving. This seemed to tilt toward product salesmen. I can tell you that it's an increasing issue will fee-only advisors as well. It's an area I'm interested in further exploring.
I needed some guidance to make sure I went into the appropriate securities CE material and the young lady that guided me was just great. Frankly, I would hire her in a minute, Thx. R J
Add some optional specific cases/examples
This course, taken in isolation, was a good course. However, as I assumed would become the case, 6 hours of ethics per year for IAR licensing purposes is too much. And by the time we are working on hours 3-6 of the required 6 hours, very little new information is conveyed and the content is almost entirely redundant with the first 2-3 hours of CE content. Any efforts by the CE provider community, such as WebCE, to convey to regulators that 6 hours of ethics content every 12 months is excessive, there isn't sufficient content to spread across 6 hours of education without being substantially redundant, and the having fewer hours on ethics and using the freed up hours on additional products and planning best practices would be more appropriate for equipping and maintaining advisors' ability to best serve their clientele would be most greatly appreciated. They don't seem to want to hear it from us. Thank you.

I liked this course was easy except I had agents calling me thinking they can get me as a client, I am a agent also and all my phones are on DNC sorry to say that but they sure interrupt me and if I do answer they start talking and don't stop!

Finding the actual course for the 6 credits under products is not where I went to first. It was under IAR CE courses. When I mentioned to an associate that I was finding individual courses and not a packages he referred me to products.

I was surprised that romance schemes were not mentioned.
I found a mistake in the Glossary. The FINRA definition should read “An independent, nongovernmental organization that writes and enforces certain RULES FOR CONDUCT OF investment-related professionals and firms,” All Caps words added by me. I am not sure if what they write and enforce should be called rules or something else - I'm just reporting that what is there does not make sense without an additional phrase.

The grammar needs improvement. There are continuous split verb phrases. It is awful. For example: She could also be going there - wrong. It should be: She also could be going there
The time to take the course far exceeded the 1 hour time limit...The course information should be reduced.
The voice over was robotic and mispronounced words and placed emphasis within the wrong part of sentences. The time required to complete the course should provide for more hours of reportable CE. More use of real life examples would be helpful.

Excellent material.I was the Medicare Fraud and abuse coordinator for Miami-Dade County for a year and Miami is the #1 city in the US for Medicare Fraud. It is rampant and not limited to financial exploitation of the elderly

The test on other courses don't need to make you feel like you're taking and ACT! We are just attempting to renew our license and most of us Agents do not sell products or advise clients. The test do not need to be that hard. Not this particular course but others that I have taking the test more than 3 times.

I used the pdf version. I didn't understand it when there was a message to return to the online course to review a case study. I think the case studyshould be included in the pdf text.

This course is much too long for 1 credit hour. The content could easily be one chapter and a test. (This is the price of your success; your courses take too long to complete). The automatic filing with the state and 24/7 printing of certificates are great features, but your courses are now too long versus competitors.
