Love the simple but effective presentation. I do personally like more interactive material (i.e. quizzes, thought experiments, hypothetical scenarios with applied concepts), as this helps me learn better. Possibly consider adding more optional materials such as this within the course.

The reading of some of the program acronyms was too slow and robotic. It was distracting and took away from the rest of the course content because when the remainder of the sentence was read there was too long of a pause to make the content flow.

I appreciated the read-it-to me audio, but the voice was a little to "AI" sounding. It can be hard to listen to a voice with no human inflections.
They overall course was very comprehensive and especially transparent about the behind the scenes of how health care entities work together, their objectives and how they get reimbursed for services.

The course content is clear and the directions around the format, test taking, etc. are very helpful. The customer service is also fantastic as I had to call in on an issue that was my mistake. The biggest complaint I have concerning this course is the difference in the stated time of hours granted for CE and the actual time it took to complete the course. One reason I would hesitate recommending this course to anyone else where it would not be required, is that the time it takes to complete this course is far more than the 4 hours granted for the course. This has not been the case with most courses I have taken through WEB CE

It took me quite a while to figure out that I could click on the chapter to go search for answers i needed. This really slowed my progress, it took me way to long. I spent probably 15 hours total, including the test.
The history of the ins and outs of the LTC laws over the decades are not as relevant as the current laws in place. I regret reading that section as it misled me about how the policy laws work - thankfully, I kept reading, but was irritated to have been taken through out of date information, first.

I took the course in September, and a month later when renewing my license I found out that it was a PA course, not IA. I had to re-take, and no one at Webce, or the Iowa Insurance Division could give me any good answers. Carrie at WebCe was very helpful getting me signed back in to take the Iowa course.

Even though I passed the exam, the exam chapter questions and final course exam questions were amongst the most difficult exam questions I have ever taken. I would not recemmend this course.
I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.

I would like an "executive summary" of the whole thing. Seems like I memorized so many pieces, something to put it all together.
I thought the test questions were based on common sense and easy to answer.

great course, very informative and helpful
there is an inaccuracy in the material. when talking about taking policy loans from permanent life insurance it states that the loan interest rate is greater than the guaranteed rate credited. That is not accurate in every case. Foresters Whole Life Insurance offers a guaranteed rate that is greater than the rate charged for a loan.
felt like there were sections that went into a lot of detail for Washington State and others that were duplicative.

I flunked many of the little tests, but made 90% on the final. Perhaps the earlier tests could be more reflective of the final exam.

This course, for whatever reason, ran smother. The voice reading was slower than the others for some reason. It was easier to focus on all questions. I learned a great deal.
There were lots of implied questions that were not fully presented during the presentation.
I've been using WebCE for years and years. They are the best when it comes to fast, efficient CE learning. Bravo!

I wasn't sure how to answer the Website question, as i believe I found the course another way. I thought it was an excellent course, and I learned a great deal from it. It did a good job of clarifying/defining the roles of Medicare, Med Supp policies, Medicaid, and self-funding.

Like many in the business (& I am retiring) I have been in the Med Supp/Life side for my entire 25 yrs. and I was prompted to mentally review my policies - great admirer of Annuities and Life- and I will do some re-arranging and familiarization with my beneficiaries and will also coach them on their Life policies.
This course had too many different topics. Should break them into different courses with lower hour requirements
I liked the ability to print the PDF so I did not have to be sitting at my desk as I reviewed the material .

The only thing that I could see improving the experience would be more practice test questions at end of each section. Also, I would like to see a practice test before the Exam
This was way too long for a 4 hour CE class. I had the content read to me and it took over 8 hours to complete the course. The first 5 or 6 chapters could be cut in half because it was redundant to the last 3 or 4 chapters which talked about VA exclusively which is what the primary goal of the class is. This class would have been fine if it was an 8 hour CE class which is what it should be. I can't think of anything else that needs to be talked about in a longer LTC class. Make it shorter if it's just a 4 hour class!!

I definitely like that it reads to me. I wish I could change the voice, & just barely slow it down. Not as slow as it can go, but just a touch. I enjoyed the exam.
Due to the amount of material presented and the complexity of the text, this course should be awarded more than 4 credits.
The content included much more detail, so I felt accountable to spend more preparation time studying detailed concepts. Luckily, the test only included general concepts.
The course content is excellent, but the test level is too shallow.
WebCE is my only source of CE. It is always straightforward and easy to navigate.

The time it takes to complete each quiz is too much. I wish you could skip the quizzes and go to the exam after you've read through the material.
Toggling back and forth to and from the audio is a pain. To include back and forth with the video examples. Scientific names for the various ethical theories is not at all useful in everyday acts.

The timing is way off. It sometimes takes hours longer to listen to the course at a normal rate.
Some of the dated information is not currently accurate.
The read it to me aloud function did not work on both computers I tried and did not automatically continue as I had selected. It made me keep clicking to start it, and also towards to end would not check that I completed sections until I clicked continue, went back to the section and forwarded again.
I don't use Web CE much. I prefer no testing CE.

WEB CE is perfect for meeting my continuing education requirements - the cost and structure of classes is perfect for me!
One of the interactive panes responded inaccurately to what I had selected two times. Just flagging - it was obvious so it didn't affect my learning.
The audio pronunciations were occasionally abnormal, and I found many typos in every course I have taken so far.
Some sections were EXTREMELY long and needed to be divided into smaller sections. By doing this, it will continue to keep the learner focused and not feel overwhelmed.
The print is small on downloaded material. Wish it is bigger, but it still works well.

terminal condition and chronic condition are both mentioned together early in the material. Chronic is mentioned a few times more, but terminal is not. No explanation on the difference of the two is given, nor is a definition of each.

One comment: On section 7.3 LTC Ethics Consumer Standards and Guidelines - the audioplay feature reads, "Misrepresentation" as "Misrepentatio" (Probably due to the "n" not being bolded as is the rest of the material - This made me laugh but I thought you should know - thank you!! :)

It needs to be updated the Medicare Part D rules are outdated. There is no more coverage gap and it mentions nothing of Medicares M3P program that was started in 2025.

Advocate works with Health Insurance agents. I felt this information was basically geared for life insurance and annuity sales. It would have been nice to be more health insurance content.

The course was very good and easy to understand.
The practice exams had a certain extent of ambiguity in some questions, though the actual final exam did not.
The audio option was a life saver. My eyes tend to get tired when reading but, listening was easy. It is also great that auditory learners have an option that allows them to excel.

I learned a few things about LTC that made the course worth while to me
Would be nice to have more video instead of the Bueller voice.
I really found the videos at the end of the larger segments of information very helpful. They helped boil down all that you read into a good scenario or situation you could relate to.
Excellent and customer service was excellent.
My only complaint is the following. I used the "read to me" feature and it tooke more like 6 hours to go through all the material. I did a some pausing and revisiting of material so it took me closer to 8 hours to accomplish the same thing. However, taking that time off, it still took longer than 4 hours, which is how it is advertized to get through all the content plus do the quizes.
One suggestion may be to use less robotic sounding reading audio.

Itis an affordable way to meet CE requirements... less time consuming and more convenient to complete online than attending a class.
when you have the automatic reader reading the course for you, it takes double the time that is required with the State requirements. if there is a certain requirement of information of each course required by the state to complete a course, it should be communicated to the purchaser/student of the proper setting of the readback feature to comply with the hour equivalent. As well as whether a person can understand the information given at that speed needs to be a communicated. Basically the course took Almost twice as long as rock was required by the state with regards to continuing education hours.

Specifically, how does having the mandatory LTSS insurance impact/guide getting additional LTCI coverage (does it provide asset protection, etc.)? Assuming most WA residents will not have the LTSS exemption- they will likely be adding to the coverage.

The question about different client's occupations and who was more likely to need LTC coverage was confusing - it was, in fact, the only question I got wrong - please provide ample information (or any information, for that matter) for this kind of scenario in the course if you intend to keep this question as part of the exam.
The WebCe Educational Program makes it easy for the Professional person to complete the necessary courses that the employer and state require for you to maintain your certification or license.

Some questions did not make sense. I can's tell you which one it was now, but it seemed to contradict its self.
The WA Cares (chapter 8) needs to be updated with the latest opt outs (i.e. spouse of active duty military.

Great Plan , easy to learn
It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.
I expected the compensation transparency to include the CAA disclosures required under federal law for health plans.

You are not allowed to take the same LTCi course that you took 2 years prior. It would be helpful to note that on the purchase page.

The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that
the course material was not specific to the test
Well, none of us enjoy doing CE. I think you'll find that most if not all agents find it to be just an annoying chore. I dislike going over the same materials every time for the basic 24 hours. I wish there was more variety and different subjects. I also wish that the tests were a LOT easier and shorter. We absolutely do not have to be experts on this this to do our jobs. But I iiked the convenience of getting it all done in one course. Thanks.
The reading of the content is terrible. There is no grammitical inflection, thus very hard to stay focused.

After reading materials and completing the tests… I had to go back and sit in the modules to accrue time to meet the minimum. There could be vids with new info to listen to while meeting time requirements, rather than reviewing

The taxation of early Roth distributions should be more comprehensive and differ somewhat from early distributions from a traditional IRA.
Health insurance laws are so complex, it was hard to remember all the different sections because I only deal in LTC policies & Medicare Supplement policies. It was well written and it was good to review and update myself. I can better assist clients
This a CE course, not initial training. I feel like got hit by a firehose of information. Way over the top for me. But then, I only sell Medicare.
Easy to access info, easy to read, listen and understand. I use WebCE every time I need to renew my license.

the course give MANY, MANY examples, especailly in the tests, where a person owns a policy on someone else and names a third person as beneficiary. This is an example of a "Goodman Triangle" and would have serious adverse tax consequences. It should NEVER be done. I strongly recommend that you modify the examples.

Once the proper course was located, the rest was very easy. Also, getting a copy of the PDF is very helpful to keep it on file.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.
Read to me could have better narration that flows from section to section. Kind of runs together. The content itself was great. A little wordy at times where the examples definitely helped.

On the practice exams, the explanations of the correct answers are helpful.

I think some of the information covered in this course is outside of the scope of a regular life and health insurance producer.

Not the fault of WebCE, but I find it preposterous that an adviser seeking to fulfill silly CE requirements is forced to sit for 3 hours when he/she could have passed all quizzes and exams with 100% correct answers in 60-90 minutes. What's more important, putting in time, or knowing the material exceptionally well???

I did the 4 hour course last week but found out it was the wrong one and was rejected by Florida but this one was very similar and had the same course content. Need to make it much easier and clearer so I don’t waste my time in the future. At least they did credit this on so I will give a little credit but needs to be clearer. The website is very confusing.

The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.

Some of the information on this seemed out of date
From my own learning experience, the smaller the block of each section, the easier it is for me to remember. The long sections make it hard for me to retain the information. Some portions just contained to much information at one time for me. Thank you.
Audio content option is very helpful, and the opportunity to go back and review while taking the quiz. This strategy helps the student avoid memorization which is very easily and quickly forgotten, instead students learns and retains.

I have been struggled with many CE sites until I found WebCE. Very clear and friendly using. Highly recommended.
Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.
The format presents the facts. Care must be taken when doing math, understood especially if it pertains to you, no way around it; you master the rules. Well done. Ed T

For illinois, I would recommend the basic health insurance course and CE credit be more easily and readily findable on the website. Basic health + Ethics course is not easily identifiable when shopping for CE courses. I was initially very confused about which course package to buy because the website pushed primarily the life and health insurance package when browsing & i reluctantly ede dup choosing it due to the inclusion of the mandatory ethics course already being included in the bundle. If the same was offered for health insurance only (bundle package), I would have been able to get through this leg of the process much easier and faster. The inventory selection is muddled and a bit unclear, which led me to making an unecessary purchase.

Misspelled an answer which gave a totally different meaning. Example: If an insured names minors as beneficiaries, the insurer might require that a guardian hold the policy death benefit proceeds until when? a. The minors were married b. The minors reach majority c. The minors are past age 30 d. The minors are retired I believe the answer is b, but majority should be maturity
This 4 hour course took significantly longer. Probably 5 hrs+ . WA special requirements were repeated from prior hours of course.
Although I experienced numerous technical issues, once I ordered the course it was easy to follow.
The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.

The short videos to check ones understanding of what was read was good. The examples to explain more fully the information was very helpful. I liked the summaries and the short quizzes to check ones understanding of the chapter. However, sometimes the reading was difficult to understand, and more time needed to be spent re-reading certain sections.

One thing that may improve the audio is having a recording of a person deliberately reading the content. Sometimes the program reading the words will mistake two words that are spelled the same and pronounce something incorrectly or otherwise make small errors an actual person normally would not.

The instruction was very clear and easy to follow, the course is great.
I passed all the sections but some of them were very challenging and it took me many tries because I couldn't fully comprehend some of the tricky sections, like taxation, and numbers sections. But overall I was able to gain a lot more knowledge.

There were a few topics that seemed to me to venture a little too far into the professional workings of a CPA, such as the tax advantages and disadvantages of estate planning concepts - areas only people with appropriate licenses should advise. Everything else was relative to the insurance profession.
Please add course numbers to catalog before adding to cart to avoid taking duplicate courses in the future.
For the exam, the chapter listings did not match the question being asked.

Have been in the industry for 28 years. Half of the material in this course is VERY advanced for most life insurance sales professionals. Would suggest removing some of the detailed material on Life Insurance in Qualified Plans as an example, and replacing it with other material.
The Ethics course is the best example of how to teach. More of these courses should reflect that.
I found this course to be very insightful and I did pick-up some new information that was helpful. I really like the feature of the materials being read. I have been using WebCE for several years and I like the pricing structure.

TOO MUCH REPITITION IN YOUR BUNDLING OF COURSES. OVER AND OVER AND OVER THE SAME TOPICS. SUCH AS LONG TERM CARE. I DREAD GOING FORWARD TO SEE THE SAME STUFF OVER AND OVER COURSES ARE WAY TOO LONG. TOO MUCH HISTORICAL INFORMATION INSTEAD OF CURRENT INFORMATION. WHEN TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE IN COMPLETING THIS DUPLICATION WASTES TIME AND IS FRUSTRATING.
If an agent does not anticipate ever selling Long Term Care Insurance it should be a short short course if it is bundled to achieve the 24 hours needed. This course was too in depth and was like trying to learn the Internal Revenue Code! It was exhausting.

I thought the first seven chapter of this lesson were well broken down. However, the chapter that pertained to Washington State was by far the least enjoyable and drab.
I wold like the video to be read a little slower. At 85 my brain cannot read as fast as the audio. Overall the course is great.

Respectfully I have one area of concern. Under the title - No Comprehensive LTC Component - the statement "With regard to nursing home care, Medicare covers only those services that help a patient recover from an acute illness or injury. Payment for skilled nursing care by Medicare requires that the patient must have first been admitted and hospitalized for the same condition." I do not think this is correct because of the JIMMO Settlement of 2013. From the CMS.GOV website - In essence, the Jimmo Settlement Agreement clarifies Medicare’s longstanding policy that coverage of skilled nursing and skilled therapy services in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Home Health (HH), and Outpatient Therapy (OPT) settings does not turn on the presence or absence of a beneficiary’s potential for improvement, but rather on the beneficiary’s need for skilled care. It was difficult to determine which classes were CLEQ. Not intuitive.
far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.
After being a nursinghome administrator, I began selling LTCi in 1991 in CA. Left CA in 2005, and have entered the business again. I appreciated the history and evolution that brings the LTCi market into the 2020's
The only thing that I didn't like is that after the read to me audio would finish, I didn't have an option for it to automatically go to the next section.
Time it took to complete this is longer than 6 hours.

The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".
Another factor that is relevant and contributed to my learning achievements is the manner in which the material is broken up into digestible section/modules. I truly appreciate this aspect!

The health insurance portion was a bit tedious. This final exam not up to the standards of others I've taken from WebCE. Duplicate questions, poorly worded questions, and questions of minimal importance.
The monotone reading of the material is so bad it's distracting. It's better to just silence it and read it's so bad. Get a human to read these not AI.
The last question was a gtrick question Which constitites an unuathorized practice? i had it wrong but was a trick. i put refer client to an attorney for legal, in notes it stated never advise to get legal advise if you are not qualified. anser was draft a contract by behalf client...trick
Content a bit redundant in some places and wording not easy to follow. Less text and more examples would be more helpful in understanding the concepts in this course.
The course was great, and it made me look back to when I first started insurance.
Some questions were a little unclear. And there was I believe a duplicate question in sequence, Just different wording. Overall very good course material.

there was a disproportionate amount of questions on disability ins. it would be nice if the course clearly stated that one of the biggest drivers of increased health care costs has been the ACA. how much did BCBS pay to get this free advertising??? and to state BCBS is a non-profit is misleading.

Having to find a monitor for the exam was extremely inconvenient. I realize it's a state of Colorado requirement, but in my opinion, it is unreasonable given that it is a short and relatively easy exam.

Youre questions are literally paragraphs. Its kind of bullshit that we have to read 50 pages of the same nonsense weve already learned and then read paragraph questions. 30 fucking paragraphs for one test is dumb. I will only use webce again if you manage to simplify these exams. the two hour course was half spent reading questions and thats terrible. I felt like i was reading the fucking harry potter series with these q and a's.
The best part for me is speaking with someone to get my choices selected and loaded in to my profile, WebCe has a great team!

I was expecting it to be pre-recorded by an instructor, so that threw me a little. Would like more practice questions along the way to break up the monotony of just reading. The videos were okay.

in this course all the question on the exam seemed subjective and open to personal interpretation and not fact based. I found this course exam ridiculously hard to complete as no questions had exact answers.....its like a theology exam
This course equally applies to any insurance producer. I do not sell life insurance but found the course to be very useful. I think the examples used should be varied to reflect this

I have been using WebCE for years, and it has never let me down.
That was perhaps the most informative and applicable course that I have taken on the subject of ethics from WEBCE.
The summaries at the end of each section are extremely helpful as a review for the practice quesitons and the final exam. I also appreciate the practice questions to help me solidify my understanidng.

IRMI is a resource for me in developing and maintaining my industry knowledge. This course was very well presented in a logical manner that is tied to the real world.
Your timer is very slow. It added 30 minutes to my class time. Additionally, since the test is part of this CE time for testing should be allowed within the 3 hour requirement. This 3 hour class took me about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
I liked the ability to reinforce my answer with an immediate content review, search content by chapter. Excellent reinforcement.
I did not use the audio, even though I had no use for it that doesn't mean other might not find it helpful. Thank you and God Bless.
I loved the text to voice narration to accompany the text. Especially for me, the ability to toggle narration speed actually made the retention of the materials easier. Great feature!

I could literally argue every single question in this test! I got almost all of them right on the first try, but it doesnt matter. These are the worst questions in the history of tests. i would literally pay someone to call me and talk to me about it. I took pictures of all of the questions. Seriously, someone needs to be fired for calling this shit english.
Ethics is much more interesting than group plans, not gonna lie.
The read it to me takes far too long instead of just reading it yourself. The interactive videos were great.
I would like to also see if classroom instruction could be provided in the future. Takes time and in a class there is more discussion and that enhances the learning experience as well. Thanks

TEST question have too close of the correct answer. Almost the same. It was not completely clear what the correct answer is like. I also do no like what my hours credit is for this long study and test. Should get twice the number of hours of credit.
I have been licensed for 17 years and have always dine my CEU's from Web CE
This course was well-written. It made me think about the things I want to incorporate into my own personal Code of Ethics. I appreciated the audio option a great deal. I'm glad I tried it! I really liked the short videos of scenarios illustrating the previous content. They helped the content "stick" in my mind, and clarified the content. Also, the video narrator had fantastic diction!!! Quite pleasant to listen to; I even began to anticipate the next one.

This course is for life and annuities and is the closest thing to an ethics class for health. For those that do not deal with life or annuities, having to look up life insurance terms makes this class much harder than it should be.
Not being able to print out the training was a problem. However, I was told this was due to an NC require that you cannot control.

Some people may not have understood the ability to create their plan in regards to what courses they have taken within the 24 month cycle.
