This is one of the easiest online courses that I have ever taken. It was so easy to navigate.
This cours is good but conbine many little coure together.
It needs to be more interactive as reading walls of text make it hard to stay focused our minds need to be engaged with examples and read audio as the lack of these make it hard to retain the information add this and the pass rate will not only go up but the percentages at which people acquire for the examination will be higher

This is the worst course I take with WebCE, and all the calculations and tables are truly overwhelming and and don't really serve much purpose unless you actually have to figure it out manually, which I have never had to do for a client. Still can't figure out how to slow down the audio, and I have to turn it off to even figure out where they are on the page. I got a 97%, but I honestly don't know how - pretty frustrating!!
There were a few mispronunciations in the audio recordings.
Great course with ease of navigation and clarity in general layout. My only concern was the very lengthy Chapter #2 that felt like it was segmented into "eternity?" Overall though--Great!
More video based learning would be helpful
Remove the timer.
It was too long and it's not 7 hours long it's more like 10 hours long.
The timer on the course was extremely off causing it to take much longer than what it should have been. There were several times where I would be reading over a page for 10 minutes, I wouldn't leave the page or open a new browser, and it would say that only 2 minutes have passed by. For example, it took about 30 minutes for the timer to move 10 minutes when I never left the course or stayed away from the content.
The courses are self-study which require an exam. I prefer taking classes with Instructors and not having to take a final exam.

I know this is a Georgia state rule and not a WebCE issue, but I find the need for an impartial proctor to be an impediment. By way of contrast, FINRA does not require a proctor when completing self-study CE coursework.

Given the exhausting number of exams I will never recommend nor will I return to WEBCE. Ever. It is absurd to have a 3 hour timer. If the materials are not enough, get out of the business of CE. Sitting for 3 hours accomplishes no learning objective.

If we had some sort of guide o "cheat sheet" to take -away, like a "one-pager" that we could take with us and incorporate into our practice, that would be useful. Make it available as a pdf download after the final exam, if you don't want us to use on the exam. Thank you.
Too much emphasis on the math and not enough on the concepts
Interesting course - the further I got into it the more advanced I felt it was. I think it may be a bit advanced for a introductory course. I enjoyed it and thought the presentation was great but I think that it was most likely underrated in the amount of time it took to complete it.
There was too much material for the life exam. It would have been easier to go to law school and study tax law and insurance than to take this course.
I like most of this course and very easy /clear.
The course subject gave me a new perspective on the senior problems and will personally help myself in the future as well.
Love the simple but effective presentation. I do personally like more interactive material (i.e. quizzes, thought experiments, hypothetical scenarios with applied concepts), as this helps me learn better. Possibly consider adding more optional materials such as this within the course.

The costs to complete the CE for my insurance license seemed very reasonable and the content was easy to access and to understand. The read it to me option was surprisingly helpful and helped me to digest the material quicker, I think.

I picked a course for the basics of life insurance. There was a lot of tax information, which made this much harder than learning the basic life insurace. I would have thought that amount of detail should be covered in another course for taxes for life insurance.
The font and words were hard to read. I would change the font to be a thicker print

a couple of the questions and course content were worded in a tricky fashion - most of the content referred to stages of "cognitive impairment", but questions in the quizzes and exam were worded the opposite way which caught me off guard.

I always use WebCE for my license renewal CE. Ease of use, content, variety, cost, convenience of state filing. Good job ! On this course the search function formmother’s and father’s benefits did not work no matter how I entered them. Second I thought there was confusion re when benefits stoooed for mom when child was 16, or, was it 18? And then there was something re the Chikdrens stopping at 18. Might go over that ~ otherwise enjoyable CE
The questions were not gotcha. I have been doing this for a while and I could reasonably reduce choices and make educated guesses on things I was not sure about. And that is how life works! In the field I would look it up to be sure, but here I could guess and I was surprisingly correct!
As a CFP, I memorized the various lists in "The Code," and I found the use of similar lists in these modules to be helpful study tools.

The course content is clear and the directions around the format, test taking, etc. are very helpful. The customer service is also fantastic as I had to call in on an issue that was my mistake. They identified the problem immediately and had it fixed in less than a minute. I am very pleased with my first experience with WebCE and will recommend them and use them again.

The time that is set forth of course completion is not accurate nor is it transparent. Although it meets the required CE requirements, update the time to complete the respective trainings. There was one question in the first test (I think) where the correct answer was shown as the obligation to provide coverage for the client. I think you should add if the client is insurable. One cannot be obligated to get coverage for someone whose health makes them uninsurable. FWIW, sh

Some of the MEC info and the calculations on the las quiz before exam were hard to understand. But on so long a course I seemed to get a bit distracted and tired. But the WRONG answers to the quizzes gave me insight enough to help me with the final exam.

Good Content
I felt there was too much specialized detail on business insurance and taxes that most insurance life agents do not deal with. In these specific areas it would require advanced training before an agent could help clients in these areas. However, the final exams were mostly relevant to the scope of most life agents.

Even though I passed the exam, the exam chapter questions and final course exam questions were amongst the most difficult exam questions I have ever taken. I would not recemmend this course.
I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.
Questions are worded very strangely and often make it difficult to understand what is being asked. Quit trying to trick people and just ask the question straight forward.

I actually enjoyed my CE courses this year. Great Job to all who is concerned, very user friendly.
There was no certificate of completion, just the score results. As a result I did not print that page. There should have been a notice that the score results ARE the certificate and a "print" button should have been included.
The last few modules in the life insurance tax implications were not as good describing those implications. The test questions were very complicated.
This test was super hard but so worth it thanks I'm so proud of myself. I absolutely love this testing site.

I don't like that you have to spend a set amount of time in the course. If a person can read the content, understand, and pass the test, then the time requirement should be removed or lessened.

This course, for whatever reason, ran smother. The voice reading was slower than the others for some reason. It was easier to focus on all questions. I learned a great deal.
There were lots of implied questions that were not fully presented during the presentation.
I use the voice option. I feel on this particular course; it went pretty fast. Words seemed to be ran into one another. Very little pauses.

This was the longest test i had to take. Too many variables and charts. Very informative information.

The courses were not as stressful having the audio read the courses. As well the practice exams helped retain the information along the way. I loved that I could read through the chapters to confirm the answers. 5 Stars!!!

There were 100 pages of content to go through. It took me more than 5 hours to study this. There was SO much information I was pretty overwhelmed, but then when I took the test it really focused more on the basics of Life Insurance. Which I was very thankful about otherwise I might not have passed as there was so much information in the study guide. Thank you.

I started my initial CE with WEB CE and I have been happy with their services! I will continue to use them. It's simple to navigate and classes are easy to follow.
Awesome course thus far!
The only issue that I saw was that there were leftover programming codes on many different pages that designated the beginning and ending of 1 or more paragraphs.
When scrolling down or up my answers were changed several times. I had to watch very closely and double check my answers to make sure they weren't changed.
While this is a continuing education course, some sections present materials that are not defined until later sections as assumptions in the current section, and some concepts are not made clear until later sections or until they are presented via practical examples and application exercises. Not sure what can be done about that, but it was a frustrating issue for me, and it took going into later (other) sections to connect the dots. Also, the wording of certain concepts and test questions were confusing. In other words, I understood and knew the concepts, but he way things were worded made them seem ambiguous or misleading. Finally, in similar fashion, there were some near contradictions in use of concepts which were a fine line and confusing. I could point out specific examples if I could go back into previously completed sections. That said, overall, I have enjoyed the CE courses, as the information itself is very good and thorough.
The practice exams were beneficial for passing the final exam.
I loved the searching capabilities
i disliked having to meet the required course time before i could take the exam. i completed the course in 2 1/2 hours and i had to meet 5 hours of course time before i could take the exam.

Toggling back and forth to and from the audio is a pain. To include back and forth with the video examples. Scientific names for the various ethical theories is not at all useful in everyday acts.

Advocate works with Health Insurance agents. I felt this information was basically geared for life insurance and annuity sales. It would have been nice to be more health insurance content.
The course seemed to be extremely long for CE credits for a renewal, but I guess if it is required by the state to be lengthy there is no other option. Other than that it was fine.

The voice you have doing this is monotone and doesn't pause at appropriate grammatical spots, such as between sentences, parentheses, ect. Note: this is for every course. It is nice to have an audio, but I wouldn't definitely consider the reader change.
The courses require WAY more time than is actually needed to complete the material
Course was designed to provide the most basic level of understanding of a relatively simple aspect of very complex issue. It met it's stated goals, but wouldn't it have been better to have a comprehensive course that trained people for more proactive eays to sus out elderly abuse?
A more interactive experience would be helpful. Using a real person instructor to explain concepts and test in real time as we move through corse would help with retention of the material.

This course is structured differently that the others in that it requires a short exam after every chapter. Because of that, it took me a very long time to complete this (far longer than the hours required). I suggest one exam at the end like how most of these are structured.
It was weird that the continue button at the bottom of the first page would disappear. I just clicked on the one near the top of the page. This is a minor point as I loved the course. I would not have made it without the read aloud.

The audio option was a life saver. My eyes tend to get tired when reading but, listening was easy. It is also great that auditory learners have an option that allows them to excel.

I really found the videos at the end of the larger segments of information very helpful. They helped boil down all that you read into a good scenario or situation you could relate to.

I had to retake a couple of tests. Those sections (re: differences between various types of insurance) were not as clear as I'd hoped they'd be.
When a question is answered incorrectly, the course doesn't provide an explanation. Instead, it only provides an explanation on the correct answers, which doesn't help study and learn from mistakes.

I have used WebCE for years for all my CE credits to keep my license current and it is very informative and the way it works really does make you retain the information. I will use it again in the future.
Being required to stay in the course for 2.5 hours when I didn't need all that time was frustrating and wasted a lot of my time. I should have been able to take the test when I was ready. Otherwise, it was a good course.

Chapter 5 of the Life insurance was very long and talked about tax implications that I really just need to gloss over. I think this section was too detailed.

Read aloud was excellent. I would like to have the option of verbally saying turn page forward or go back a page (hands free). I would like to have the option for video and going back and forth between video and reading or listening on every class.
It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.

The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that
The questions surrounding waiver and estoppel are VERY confusingly worded to differentiate these very similar concepts.
The time requirement is frustrating when you finish early.

I only wish we could have a family member proctor as it's inconvenient to have to find an acquaintance.
My only frustration is having to wait for the allotted time on any given section. I have been an insurance agent for over a decade and can finish most of these sections in less time than required. I don't understand having to stay in the section until the clock runs down if I have already passed the exam. Other than that, I am happy with the ability to take a test, and immediately correct it and take it again if I did not pass.
Mini exams of 6 questions after every chapter. Chapters were not long, which is appreciated, but the exam questions are very wordy and long.

Not everyone has the same skills and mine is not math. For people like me it would be better if the examples were more descriptive, step by step, when it comes to doing calculations. It took me a long time to understand and I had to make notes in a notebook to see where the results and numbers they give come from to explain and in the examples. That part was not easy for me but in general I love studying your courses.

The course was helpful, however, I'd like to request the courses offer explanations for any wrong answers given in exams. Upon exam reviews, explanations are giving for why correctly answered questions are, in fact, correct, but does not offer any explanations on why incorrectly answered questions are incorrect. Adding this would be helpful in further understanding portions of the course study that may not have "clicked" during the actual course. Thank You.

Excellent presentation
When I get a question wrong, that's the one that I need an explanation. In these courses, there is a detailed explanation of CORRECT answers but no explanation for incorrect answers. This was a very frustrating course because I missed lots of questions and had to keep rereading the material, not understanding what I was missing. I wouldn't recommend this course.
Too much information. Glad most of it was not in the final exam. A lot of the information was "over the top" -- especially regarding estate taxation and federal taxation of life insurance. The insurance comparative costs were also too much.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.
Read to me could have better narration that flows from section to section. Kind of runs together. The content itself was great. A little wordy at times where the examples definitely helped.

Being able to take these courses online in the comforts of my home was awesome. Having the opportunity to go back and review that content information was a huge plus. While it was a lot to consume, it was a great refresher and will help me in being a more effective insurance agent.

I had to do a bit of reading to figure out which course I had to take. It would have been helpful if WebCE had used the exact same language/terminology/phraseology that NIPR does for its state requirements.

Insurance CE requires 24 hours right? I only needed 6 total hours to complete my CE. 3 hours general and 3 hours ethics. My transcript and your look up tool should be able to communicate with each other. It keeps telling me I need more hours and the transcript says I don't.
PRE EXAM QUESTIONS WERE NOT CLOSE TO SAME ON THE FINAL EXAM?
The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.

Lengthy for 3 credits
In looking at the course format or methodology, I felt that mandating us to complete the course in subsequent order detracted from the time I could have completed other sections of this class. Sections that I found complicated to understand prevented me from moving forward to simpler sections. I hope this comment will help the administration to allow the students better access to the course material by unlocking all chapters to cover the course material quickly. As in other courses I've taken on WEBCE that allow for this. Also in the Search Bar, if words were missing the hyphen joining 2 words together, the word would not appear. Maybe enable an A.I Smart tool on the platform would help. This class was very, very challenging.
The classes are too long but the quizzes are very good explaining why your answer is correct

Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.
70% or better is a lie. It's 80% or better when all you do is ask 5 and 6 questions tests. Annoying.
I am due for eye surgery, and the audio helped me tremendously. I appreciated the fact that I did not have to squint while trying to read through all the text materials.

I somehow managed to take the wrong class to finish my CE requirements. I picked the 7 hour class instead of the 2 hour class somehow, but I didn't realize it. Either that, or when I started, stopped, and started again, the class switched on me somehow.
The speaker was quite monotone.
It was long for 4 credit hours when compared to many of the other courses I have taken for CE.
This is the first course I have taken from WebCE that was very difficult to get through. The information was very specific and complicated, especially in the fifth and sixth chapters.

The content is poorly written, requiring constant rereads that, were the writing clear, would be unnecessary. This, at times, renders the text ambiguous (especially frustrating in the quizzes!). The audio was annoyingly and unnaturally inflected, so I quickly ceased using it.
Due to CE "time in exam requirements" (i.e. having to spend 6 hours in a 6 hr course) I would suggest an audio option that times out to that required course requirement, so you don't finish early .
This course is set up for my success, and I see the ease which it was designed for us agents. Thank you for making this design, simple and efficient for us agents.

There were several questions I answered correctly but when the answers were graded, my answers had been changed by the system to wrong answers and caused me to have to repeat the exams several more times.
The info within this course is concise, sometimes funny, but always relevant. I appreciate the fun quotes at the beginning of the lessons.
The opportunity to retake the questions through which one builds additional level of understanding is a thing I like most.

The learnings didn't help me understand the math of these types of plans and I struggled with the quizzes because of it.
i had difficulty selecting the tab to grade. after several attempts it would allow however it changed often times the answer i had selected.
while the read to voice was nearly natural it still contained the "computer generated" voice qualities. this was, on occasion, a bit distracting. Still the read allowed as I follwed the text was VERY helpful thank you
I like the read it to me audio feature, because you can listen and follow along as you go which helps to understand the content.
Much of the course content goes into far more depth than is required for the exam which makes the content more confusing and intimidating.
There was a lot if information given and sometime overwhelming to remember for the testing
This course took me a longer time to get through than courses with twice as many credit hours. The calculations of the Dependency, Blackout and Retirement periods were hard to follow and although I finally understood them, it dragged out the time that it took me to master the course. The calculations were excellent to know, but were not a part of the exam, so I would have liked to know that in advanced so that I wouldn't have stressed out about taking the exam that I scored 100% on.

WEBCE is a wonderful training /presentation tool. Very easy to navigate and well presented material.
On the end of chapter exams it would be more helpful to detail the wrong answers than giving explanations as to why you got a question right
Taxation of Life Insurance is always the most difficult section of study to understand.
I felt there was way too much information for 6 hours

I think the time stated to complete the courses should be stated as taking a little longer than originally stated. Although I experienced numerous technical issues, once I ordered the course it was easy to follow.
The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.

Have been in the industry for 28 years. Half of the material in this course is VERY advanced for most life insurance sales professionals. Would suggest removing some of the detailed material on Life Insurance in Qualified Plans as an example, and replacing it with other material.
I found this course to be very insightful and I did pick-up some new information that was helpful. I really like the feature of the materials being read. I have been using WebCE for several years and I like the pricing structure.

Base on other 3 hour courses that justified the amount of time it took to complete said course. This "4" hours course was in excess of of 4 hours to complete, Hence, re-evaluation of the credits for this course to be investigated and reconsidered for future purposes.

While the content was extremely detailed and technical, the presentation was logical and consise.
The bundled courses have so much redundancy it is exhausting. Make the courses shorter when you bundle the same information over and over again on several different courses. IIt is exhausting

I liked the quotes and the review at the end of the chapters.
far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.
The only thing that I didn't like is that after the read to me audio would finish, I didn't have an option for it to automatically go to the next section.
the monitor is not available all the time
1. You have to keep on changing the volume level each time you move on to the next page. 2. The search finder sucks. It will not take you to the highlighted section.
I liked the course but having to find a proctor to take it is problematic, sometimes it's hard to find a disinterested person to act as a proctor. Also it's time consuming, I have to leave my office and go where some one will qualify as a proctor for me. All low scores are due to the proctoring situation, if I could find somewhere else to go without using a proctor I would.
Very Good Content and coverage of Broad Ethical standards and examples.
The content was helpful for agents to have a good understanding of ethics and how to implicate them. I found the course material difficult to maintain focus on and it was not organized well. I did not find the structure of the module engaging.
The last 3 subjects were a bit confusing at the time of the exam, more theory time and examples I feel are needed for these 3 subjects.

Like: Brevity, course completion gauge. Dislike: Allow explanations on the incorrect quiz answers; Otherwise, it's just trial and error. Some concepts were confusing; more examples, tables, graphics, or videos would add clarity. I prefer WebCE over my previous CE program. Thanks!

the pre view of the cource said self learning & PDF of materials. I appreciate to auto, and being able to read along. Yet I did not find the PDF , to review Or look up study materials. I created my own, to copy summary of each chapter. wish the PDF of materials was easier to find
Can't complain other then I have to keep taking these same basic courses to keep my license for selling life & health insurance and annuities. I did let my Securities licenses go in 2023 after 40 years. It just got to be too much of a pain.
It's frustrating that you removed the option to speed up the audio.
I couldn't find info on how to add the credits to anything besides the MN insurance license.
Everything is great just wish they would say what courses you need and how many hours you needed from certain sections but was able to get everything done by calling customer service because we were completely lost.

For a one hour credit course, it was challenging, took a lot of time and asked 1/2 the number of questions for one of the 4 hour courses I completed. Very eye-opening.

The lack of monitor on the Exam was an issue at the start but was able to call and clarify who can proctor the exam on my state. Would be really helpful to have an online proctor provided by WebCE.

good information on SS benefits
The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".
Have used WebCE before and find them very reliable and easy to learn from their product.

Well presented material with good examples.
The course had some obtuse information that was mildly interesting but not relevent. example, all the different theories of ethical behaviors. Also, it would be nice to be able to download the charts and appendices.

The monotone reading of the material is so bad it's distracting. It's better to just silence it and read it's so bad. Get a human to read these not AI.
The last question was a gtrick question Which constitites an unuathorized practice? i had it wrong but was a trick. i put refer client to an attorney for legal, in notes it stated never advise to get legal advise if you are not qualified. anser was draft a contract by behalf client...trick
I found some of the test questions were not covered in the training portion. And I feel no more than 12-15 test questions is good enough
The course was great, and it made me look back to when I first started insurance.

This course is very important for the ethically handling client interactions
An improvement to the program would be if the tester could highlight information they think is important so that when they were taking a test they could find information quickly . Once they moved on to the next test the highlighted information would disappear.

I wish the audio wasn't a computer generated voice. I couldn't concentrate on what they were saying and incorrect inflections were distracting. It would be better if the guy who voiced the video clips recorded the audio as well. :D
Let student know if a course was missed before taking the final Exam of 50 questions! I received a notice that my hours were not met from TDI, and I paid my license fees. Now I will have a 350$ fine to pay. Please help me??

California needs all their courses in audio version. I have only had one course this year over all the years I have been licensed. Very disappointing. I should not have to pay or sign up for app that will accommodate for this feature. It should be standard option in todays business climate.

The FINRA definition should read “An independent, nongovernmental organization that writes and enforces certain RULES FOR CONDUCT OF investment-related professionals and firms,” All Caps words added by me. I am not sure if what they write and enforce should be called rules or something else - I'm just reporting that what is there does not make sense without an additional phrase.
Most of the time, I didn't notice, but, in the future, you may want to consider having a live person record the voiceovers.
