It didn't have the auto reader ability
the material was clear and easy to comprehend, you have to focus because some questions were tricky. it was over all a good course.
I would recommend removing the requirement to go through the whole course again in order to complete an exam.

Let me do it on MY TIME, without pressure. The chapters were very thorough and clear. The open-book test was very helpful for memorization and verification.
Did not get the questions on Non forfeiture topic. Was not clear to me the questions.
Questions a bit tricky but was reasonable and was in the reading material.
I completed the required content in less than the 3hrs 20min but was unable to take the test -which I just passed with 98. If I am required to sit with the course open for 3 hrs and 20 min for All the remaining courses I will not be purchasing my classes from here again. It was a total waste of my time. In the past I have preferred to use WebCE but if this is an indication of what I have left to finish my courses I am not going use this for other years of CE. Thank you for allowing me to respond.

The program is very easy to follow, the only problem I found was that during searching it is too hard of find the correct words to initiate the searching.
When answering these questions, allow to scroll down once a questioned is answered without the answer being changed and without having to go to right side of page to scroll down.

Exams are all well-structured.
Read aloud options should always be available even for pdfs and and small credit courses to address learning styles. Hearing it absorbs differently than reading it for auditory learners.

This course is MASSIVELY out of date. Multiple products that no longer exists such as Current Assumption WL and Adjustable WL. Other section where it says a UL policyowner can both raise and lower the DB during the life of the policy. Plus there are many more. Maybe 25% of this course was useless.

The Read-it-to-me audio needs improvement. There are times when it goes right through the end of a sentence without any pause. It does the same when reading section headings, just goes right through to the text. Most importantly it sounds like a ROBOT.. from 30 years ago.
it's so much straight reading. Get's tiresome. need some videos here and there to make it more attentive for us.

It was a little longer than I expected.
I wasn't able to use the normal audio feature for the continuation courses since it was only given to me as a pdf, I did however use text to speech and was able to achieve close to the same effect, if possible having all pdf's be like the standard pre test audio type would greatly improve my experience. non the least I enjoyed this format of studying.
I thought this course was way too long and too detailed for 4 hours of CE credit.

This was a fairly easy course. The way is was structured and organized was GREAT for me. It allowed me to get right through it and retain the information in each course. The only thing I did not like about it was the audio. I accidently selected to have the audio on and I prefer to read the information. I retain information better that way. However, this was great! Even wit the Audio the first run-through of the course only took 3.5 hours. I suggest that the course could benefit with more examples and case studies to fill the 6 hours.

Many of the questions for the life insurance tests were not even suitable for my local. The test was too long for one to remember since I don't produce any than a few. Reducing the amount of answers for the questions would allow this long test bearable.

This course and the exam questions were much better than the others I took. More about the fundamentals of the Life Insurance product, and not memorization of silly regulations (that can be researched as needed)
Chapter quizzes made understanding of topic easy
People learn at different rates, and imposing a mandatory minimum number of hours is neither efficient nor effective. If I can complete a four-hour course in two hours and demonstrate proficiency through testing, requiring additional seat time serves no meaningful purpose. Competency should be measured by mastery of the subject matter, not by time spent completing a course.
The course wouldn't allow me to take the test until 3 hours and 20 minutes had passed which is a waste of time. I have been doing insurance all of my life and I can pass these test without even reading all this material. There should be an option for experience agent to just take the test and move on without having to sit in front of the computer for over 3 plus hours.

The time limit is absurd and not necessary. What took me 1 hour to get through based on 20 years of experiences, required me to have my computer open for 3 hours and 20 min - a waste of my time when I know the material really well and it took me 1 hour to get through the material. The time limit is not friendly or favorable.
The study modules are not super clear on chapter exams. I appreciate that the final exam was not the same where i felt tricked on the answers. The content overall was excellent. I appreciate the read-allowed feature so i can read along and it's double duty to retain the content. Thank you.

When choosing which courses to complete it would be helpful to know only what’s required of my state and currently licensure as far as credit hours. The extra options are nice to see but in addition to what I already need is overall confusing and a little excessive in my opinion.

My experience has been great. I have a learning Disability that I have to work around in my life ( Dyslexia). One of the key things that helped me during the process, is tests are not timed, also in the test area the chapter tap to review my answer has been very helpful . I love that you have an option to choose the course to take for credits. I was able to choose topics that are relevant to my areas of focus as a Life Insurance producer. I thought I already knew most of the contents but was surprised that half was information I did not know about, especially the taxation on loan withdrawals for cases where the policy lapsed or cancelled!

Some of the questions are confusing. What does "trigger" mean? And there were other examples of the question not being clear.
6 hours required; I was ready for the test at 4 hours and 15 minutes approximately. I sat their clicking from time to time while doing other things until I got to 6 hours. Got a 96% on the test and I rushed. What is with this time restriction thing? If it's the states, tell them what a bunch of idiots they are for requiring. They can say, this content is worth 6 hours but not require an actual 6 hours if someone doesn't need it. IF it's about making certain new changes to laws are being carefully covered, then have a time commitment for a specific section covering those changes or something reasonable. The existing rules on time for CE content are stupid. Please push to fix them.

some of the quiz questions needed additional information in the scenarios presented I like to print and use hard copies of the PDFs. Many charts or images seem to be missing from the course PDFs. The audio bar needs to be modified in order to make it easier to ''scroll'' back and forth to find spoken information more easily. On Chapter 9.3 the voice changed suddenly without notice and it did not advise to check a video showing a chart being compiled.

Some questions on this portion was very confusing to understand, I had to read it a couple times over, the wordage was very poorly structured.
I finished the course in 45 minutes, but could not take the test until I wasted another nearly 3 more hours with the screen open. I made a 95 on the exam. This is my 20th year as a Financial Advisor, and I've taken this same course at least 10 times. There is no reason I have to sit there for 3+ hours to review information I already know. I could have made a 95 without spending one minute in the course.

This happens every time I recertify, but, variable annuity questions are always on the exams, but in the state of Michigan I can't sell variable annuities without a securities license, even though our licenses say Variable Annuities on them.

I especially like the audio feature because it is much easier to hear than to read on my own, I retain information better by listening to it.
Overall, this was a good course. However, I felt that the quality of the pre-licensing course was better (it had good videos explanations of concepts).

I hated the mandatory time for being in the course. I thoroughly read the material at my own pace, and made hundreds on all the chapter tests, but had an hour and 20 minutes to remain in the course before I could take the test. Unnecessary.
Hello! Sir/Madam, everything is fine with the exam except the open book exam. It is hard to find an answer in the whole chapter. You make it easy if you are more specific to that portion where a candidate can find the answer. I will really appreciate it if you can make an improvement to solve this hurdle. Thanks.

I loved that this course had audio. It allows you to really hear and absorb the information, instead of long reading material , where one might read to get through the material and not necessarily retain it
I had the ability to look at information more than one way and that made things much easier in completing the course. Being in the industry for more than 3 decades this course brought up a lot of information that is very valuable on products I don't even offer to my clients.

I should have received a 100% on this exam. There was an error made to the question that was marked incorrect.
Easy to follow.
I finished the study part in 45 minutes but was forced to wait 3+ hours. I thought I had completed the course and exam only to find that I had to take the final exam when I finished the time. Maybe I missed the words that showed me what the site intended, but it was a surprise anyway.
There needs to be a way of making the procurement of course much simply. The package is good but the individual courses that you can get are pricey.
I did not like that I had to take the required time to read through the chapters before I was able to test.
I am a fast reader so it's frustrating to be done reading and listening along and having to wait the time required in order to take the final test.
Dry reading of a pdf document is not exactly what I would call an easy way to learn
I didn’t like how the exam questions were, using names I couldn’t even say messed it all up for me. Or how some of the questions were worded it made it very confusing.

My only complaint is that I went through the entire course by having it auto read to me, but I was not allowed to take the exam until I reached the 3 hour and 20 minute mark, even though the auto read and practice questions were all done sooner.

The requirement to spend X amount of hours in each course is a little over the top. WebCE previously did not require that, which made taking insurance CE much less painful. If I know enough about the topics to take the quiz and easily pass the tests - I shouldn't need to stare at a screen for 4 hours to prove that I am sufficiently proficient in the subjects at hand required of CE.
It would be nice if the read-out-loud option wasn't so robotic. Hard to keep attention because of it's monotone nature. My firm has a human being read and record, and it's easier to absorb the information that way.

I think, listening to the course on video or audio instead of reading would be helpful

The timer ran very slow. I was in class and in the content area far longer than 3 hours 20 minutes before I was allowed to take the exam. Very frustrating!

I received 2 wrong on the course that I just completed (Living benefits of Life Insurance) and was asked if I wanted to see what I got wrong, which I did but to my dismay it did not give me the correct answer. I think that would be helpful.
Chapters were kinda lengthly, 6 question exams and the end of every chapter. I believe there were about 10-13 chapters total. Questions were scenario questions and quite lengthy as well.
Please incorporate videos.

I like the practice tests.
I spent weeks trying to find this course until my manager finally emailed the link. The amount of reading is daunting, video form would have been much easier to learn and get through the course. Parts of the course were very difficult to understand so not being able to ask anyone questions left you not understanding or knowing what you needed.
I prefer not to have questions with the phrasing of "except".
Good review of basic insurance terms and difference i products. Level of detail made it more than 4 hours.
I wish there were more interactive videos instead of all words as well as a little more prep for the test. I also did not like that the autoplay function did not work.
I enjoyed the audio feature on the course; however, it would be great to have a real person record the audio instead of an automated voice reading it. Having a real person read it makes it easier to follow along since the automated voice does not always pronounce words correctly or read sentences with the correct emphasis or pauses.
Like that we can take the exams until we PASS!
I didn't see the read it to me option so that was a lot of reading, but great help in the PDF.
The writing of samples is a bit confusing. I wonder if there are other ways to explain the terminology in simpler terms.

This was a challenging continuing education class. It was my first time taking continuing education, and I found these courses to be excellent information to help me further acquire the required knowledge about the life insurance industry. I like the class structure because the questions where self-explanatory with finding the best answers to each question.
I absolutely loved that there was a link to the chapter review in the test questions. It saved a lot of time and made the entire procedd quick and efficient.

I did not like when I accidentally went out of the exam, it wasn't clear that I would be going back to where I left off, instead I thought I had to start over.
It would be nice if all the courses had an video and PDF component. I found the course for ethics was wonderful and it was easier for me to retain the information when presented in a video format.
for the CA course, i understand that this is a brand new requirement, but if we were to have a video or some sort of audio option to review the material that would assist greatly and provide higher passing scored
Exam was a little long and some questions were not relevant to Ethics in my opinion. Some questions were product questions.

There were a few questions in the exam that did not seem to have been discussed in the content. However, overall it was easy to read and understand. I came to distinguish some aspects of SEC BI and NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation.
Would be nice to include practice quizzes at the end of each chapter. Thank you.

The content was bias toward whole life. It spent a ton of time painting a negative light on VULs and leaned heavily on the guarantee of whole life products, leaving out the fact that the premiums are triple the costs.
It's a good refresher course

I would prefer live classes or online webinars. Hard to stay awake reading long PDF documents online or listening to Read-It-Aloud!
It is very hard to follow the computerized voice reading the material. A real person reading the material would be much easier to follow. The computerized voice doesn't include voice inflection and tends to run sentences together, making it hard to follow.
Please try to include the first words or syllables of the narration. Most of them were cut off

OMGEE, really struggled with the 'final exam this time. I really did need this refresher course.
For some reason when there were the special interaction it kept sticking and would not scroll down.
I felt that there were at least two answers that were graded incorrectly. I took some screen shots for future reference.
I like the way this course is taught. It is easy to understand, and the pre-test questions helped a lot.

I accomplished this however I felt like the test questions were very difficult. I'm not good at taking tests so it was difficult for me. There have just gotten to obe so many options in insurance and I sell Pre-need insurance which doesn'trequire me to know everything about selling insurances.

I liked this course because it was clear and helped me to understand the Living Benefits of Insurance better. I especially liked how specific examples with numbers were used to explain difficult concepts. There were many difficult sections that I would Not have understood had it Not been for those specific examples. The course took me a long time to complete (which is usual for me), but I don't mind as much since it was so informative. I think I actually understand MEC's for the first time now! Because the material was so clearly explained and since I took my time studying the material (as I usually do), I was able to get 100% on the Final Exam on my first try using only my unaided memory (i.e. without referring to any of the Open Book material). Bravo on creating this course. I also really like the Annuity Courses I took for my Insurance License and my Series 66 License. Thanks.
I did not realize that the CA one hour ethics training was in both ethic courses that I took.

(1) Look at some of the Medicare insurance companies' cert courses. They are making some very interesting presentations of the material. (2) I did like the ease of searching for key terms within a chapter.

Througout the course links to audio or video outsiide the course were not viewable. It was annoying to be repeatedly referred to a chart, audio or video information and not be able to see it.

Noticing that the wrong answered question was presented at the end of the exam, but not the correct answer to the corresponding question. Why is that? One other thing, is that the language and words used should be clear, plain and common. That would be easy to understand and the question being asked make common sense. Other than that, the challenges of the exam provided me the skills and knowledge of the subject that I am sharing to others.
You can Tell the influence of Whole life carriers in paying you guys for the creation of this class. This course paints whole life products in a better light then I believe it should. Why was there so much information about whole life products and virtually nothing about universal life products?

some of the questions are to long - and if I do not know the answer I have to go true the hold chapter to find the information. it will save a lot time if was highlight the part the has the information to answer the question.

I would like to suggest that when doing the exam, when looking for the answer, that the paragraph containing the answer be highlighted for ease of discovery and time.
As I had just gained my Health Insurance License after having a Life Insurance Only license for several years, it was difficult for me to determine exactly what CE was required for Missouri.

I expected the module to be interactive NOT just reading from my screen. Very disappointed. I've used WebCE for SEVERAL years and I don't think I will in the future.

I missed 1of 2 questions for section 9, out of 50 questions and my score says 88% Someone needs to update the grading scale. This could potentially affect a person's renewal of license. Some questions were hard to understand and lacked clarity.

The course material was laid out/explained in a way that made it very easy to understand it, and thoroughly understand it at that, though my problem with this course is that the listed “6 hours” is ridiculously inaccurate, as it took me closer to 16 hours to complete in its entirety. This course should count for far more than 6 CE credit hours, if not even a full 16 in my opinion.
Illustrations of use of MECS and other savings policies were not very helpful in distinguishing the various products.

I think it should be easier to find the answers when you are searching for them during the exam. I get confused with some of the jargon and lingo and need it to be laid out a bit easier for me.

Using a human to do the voice over would be much better than the computer generated voice as there were odd pauses and mispronunciations.

The reader (audio) sound very robotic which made the study and retention of the material more challening.
The content was excellent, I got a lot of good reframes out of this material. The content could have been much more engaging though. Switching it up by adding some videos or interactives would go a long way in ensuring that agents lean in and really review the material.

The Audio instructions were awful. The instructor (AI I suppose) doesn’t complete sentences correctly. He runs words together and doesn’t pause in sentences where he should. It just seems like a computer saying words. There is no inflection and things get lost in the annunciation.

I prefer to read the text, it would be helpful if the text were displayed in black instead of grey. Increasing the text size is nice, but it needs to be darker too.
The inclusion of the CA state Fraud materials was not clearly described or what to do about the form in the materials wasn't clearly communicated.
I learned more from this course than I have during my required studies for the insurance licensing examinations in the states of Virginia and North Carolina. I wonder why the content I learned from the exam preparation courses did not cover the critically important content offered by this course.
It would be nice if you also provided the correct answers when reviewing what you got wrong on the final exam.
I spent 20 hours in reading the content and taking the test. You are offering only 4 hours CE for this course. No colourful presentation of the concepts to follow it easily and to remember. You should offer 8 hour CE for this course. Very hard to complete;

some chapters are very long. so when you want to look back it is very helpful if for example the answer is located in section 1.4 as opposed to chapter 1. This used to be done a long time ago. I would like to see that feature again. hope this makes sense.

My Course did not come with the audio version. With the amount of reading that accompanies 24 hrs of CE, Audio-reading would be a nice option to have.
This is the hardest course I have taken through WebCE
I appreciate that we can speed up the audio. Typically, I can read 2-3x faster than a normal reading speed. However, educationally it is very beneficial to both read and hear it at the same time. Thanks.

Exam questions need to relate DIRECTLY to content. Much of the content was too general to apply to half of the questions. This is a problem with WebCE products. The test questions should be tested BEFORE the product is sold to professionals.
