There was one question in the first test (I think) where the correct answer was shown as the obligation to provide coverage for the client. I think you should add if the client is insurable. One cannot be obligated to get coverage for someone whose health makes them uninsurable. FWIW, sh

This course is quite boring in its presentation. I feel that there must be some sort of instructions from the state of California that require it to be a .pdf format. It is not engaging in that format and quite a bit of information to get through.

Hi, I would encourage WebCE to place a reorder button by the courses that the customer has already order in the previous year. Instead of having the customer to go hunt for the courses again, there should just be a button beside the listed course that says, 'reorder'. Sort of like what DoorDash does for its customer (LOL). Even though I passed the exam, the exam chapter questions and final course exam questions were amongst the most difficult exam questions I have ever taken. I would not recemmend this course.
I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.

This course is difficult to navigate, you have to download first before you can start the course. It’s not user friendly
I like that it was not a timed exam and that it has the option to save and continue later. I am a single mother of three so it's great that I am able to save my answers and pick up where I left off when I have time to do so!

This is what I expect from a CE course, not a boring nonsensical video.
For some reason had difficulty printing out almost 200 page book because only requested one printing but printed different parts here and there becoming confusing to put together and then had to reprint what was missing. Weird.

One thing I really appreciated about this coursework was how clearly it explained the concept of annuity suitability, especially aligning the product recommendations with the clients liquidity and financial objectives. On the other hand, the section on Medi-Cal hardship felt a bit rushed and harder to follow. I think it would benefit from a few more real world examples or flowcharts, and that those might make it a little more digestible.
I always use your courses to obtain my CE credits. It's always easy to use and a good value for the price. I have been using WebCE since 1995.

The search function for the course material (since this was designed as an "open book" learning/testing package) to be quite weak and to me, inadequate. I put-in relevant key words and most of the time, got "no matches." I feel that aspect of the whole learning/testing experience was disappointing and needs work.

chapter summaries were very nice for doing a quick review before the exams, and the videos did a great job explaining the concepts in a real world scenario.

The read it to me aloud function did not work on both computers I tried and did not automatically continue as I had selected. It made me keep clicking to start it, and also towards to end would not check that I completed sections until I clicked continue, went back to the section and forwarded again.
The two Annuity courses I took this renewal were very textbook and boring. There were too few real-life examples. There were no quizzes as in the other modules. It would have been better as a video with examples and realistic scenarios.

Difficult to read so much content before doing anything interactive, such as non-graded quizzes. I am not SEC licensed and struggled to differentiate/apply material accordingly at times. I found it offensive that visual and hearing impairments were described as signs an individual may not comprehend annuities enough to make informed decisions. Materials and presentations should be made using appropriate accommodations for individuals who need them. Their hearing and/or vision is quite separate from their intellectual capacity.
I would have really appreciated instructional videos some of the contents in this course. Thank you.

In my opinion, there should be quizzes after each chapter to test your understanding on the subject being studied.
Course was designed to provide the most basic level of understanding of a relatively simple aspect of very complex issue. It met it's stated goals, but wouldn't it have been better to have a comprehensive course that trained people for more proactive eays to sus out elderly abuse?

Alot of the content of the course was not relevant to me but the test questions did reflect real circumstances that were very relevant.
I dislike that there is no quiz after every chapter, it's hard to absorb the contents or the subject being learn. It's also hard to remember all the things you read.

I expected the compensation transparency to include the CAA disclosures required under federal law for health plans.
I disliked that the page numbers did not tie out with the content page's numbering. There are 9 pages without a number which means wen I wanted to review the section starting on page 144, I needed to go to PDF page number 153. Adding page numbering throughout is an easy adjustment to make which will make it much easier to review a section that is of further interest.

On the Exam, Question 15 indicates an option as being "Flexible Level" and without the word level, I would have included that option. The Flexible option is not described in content as level nor does it make sense to be level. I cannot see the score, so perhaps I am correct. It is a tricky question.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.

Not the fault of WebCE, but I find it preposterous that an adviser seeking to fulfill silly CE requirements is forced to sit for 3 hours when he/she could have passed all quizzes and exams with 100% correct answers in 60-90 minutes. What's more important, putting in time, or knowing the material exceptionally well???

PRE EXAM QUESTIONS WERE NOT CLOSE TO SAME ON THE FINAL EXAM?
The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.
In the wake of Super CE events and other such items, it's no longer worth the time commitment to do multi hour online trainings.

I have been struggled with many CE sites until I found WebCE. Very clear and friendly using. Highly recommended.
Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.
I am due for eye surgery, and the audio helped me tremendously. I appreciated the fact that I did not have to squint while trying to read through all the text materials.
Lacked interactive milestones, to include checkpoint quizzes to keep the student engaged. Content was good but presentation should be better than giving the student an intimidating 123 page document to read.

One recommendation. Have chapter modules and short quizzes after each chapter or section. Instead of just having to download the PDF booklet for said course, and only having the option to take the exam. Exam length is fine, they're just not as interactive as I would expect for a sought-after license.

Can't complain other then I have to keep taking these same basic courses to keep my license for selling life & health insurance and annuities. I did let my Securities licenses go in 2023 after 40 years. It just got to be too much of a pain.

Everything is great just wish they would say what courses you need and how many hours you needed from certain sections but was able to get everything done by calling customer service because we were completely lost.

For a one hour credit course, it was challenging, took a lot of time and asked 1/2 the number of questions for one of the 4 hour courses I completed. Very eye-opening.

The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".

The last question was a gtrick question Which constitites an unuathorized practice? i had it wrong but was a trick. i put refer client to an attorney for legal, in notes it stated never advise to get legal advise if you are not qualified. anser was draft a contract by behalf client...trick

I found a mistake in the Glossary. The FINRA definition should read “An independent, nongovernmental organization that writes and enforces certain RULES FOR CONDUCT OF investment-related professionals and firms,” All Caps words added by me. I am not sure if what they write and enforce should be called rules or something else - I'm just reporting that what is there does not make sense without an additional phrase.

Youre questions are literally paragraphs. Its kind of bullshit that we have to read 50 pages of the same nonsense weve already learned and then read paragraph questions. 30 fucking paragraphs for one test is dumb. I will only use webce again if you manage to simplify these exams. the two hour course was half spent reading questions and thats terrible. I felt like i was reading the fucking harry potter series with these q and a's.

This course equally applies to any insurance producer. I do not sell life insurance but found the course to be very useful. I think the examples used should be varied to reflect this

IRMI is a resource for me in developing and maintaining my industry knowledge. This course was very well presented in a logical manner that is tied to the real world.
Your timer is very slow. It added 30 minutes to my class time. Additionally, since the test is part of this CE time for testing should be allowed within the 3 hour requirement. This 3 hour class took me about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
I liked the ability to reinforce my answer with an immediate content review, search content by chapter. Excellent reinforcement.

Excellent material.I was the Medicare Fraud and abuse coordinator for Miami-Dade County for a year and Miami is the #1 city in the US for Medicare Fraud. It is rampant and not limited to financial exploitation of the elderly

The test on other courses don't need to make you feel like you're taking and ACT! We are just attempting to renew our license and most of us Agents do not sell products or advise clients. The test do not need to be that hard. Not this particular course but others that I have taking the test more than 3 times.
The course was well done. I want to be sure that Oregon gets notified of this continuing education as soon as possible. Well designed!

Developing own code of ethics does not seem to parallel insurance industry's expectancy of an agent adhering to THEIR code of ethics.
Additional quizzes more often throughout the course would be helpful and help people retain the information easier.

I could literally argue every single question in this test! I got almost all of them right on the first try, but it doesnt matter. These are the worst questions in the history of tests. i would literally pay someone to call me and talk to me about it. I took pictures of all of the questions. Seriously, someone needs to be fired for calling this shit english.
Ethics is much more interesting than group plans, not gonna lie.

The read it to me takes far too long instead of just reading it yourself. The interactive videos were great.
I would like to also see if classroom instruction could be provided in the future. Takes time and in a class there is more discussion and that enhances the learning experience as well. Thanks

Test Questions were some what confusing
I appreciated the compound manner in which the questions were presented. One really had to slow down and ingest and digest the root meaning of the question in order to answer correctly. Though I'm experienced Life Insurance Agent, The questions really made me think !!! Thanks for the effort you put into this study.

The shorter the corse the greater the factor of time versus hours needed to complete the material. Thus class took me over 3 hours of study to complete
People learn differently. Personally, I'm better in a classroom or virtual instructor setting. But since I'm forced to complete CE's online, this is as good as it gets. Thank you.
TEST question have too close of the correct answer. Almost the same. It was not completely clear what the correct answer is like. I also do no like what my hours credit is for this long study and test. Should get twice the number of hours of credit.
I always learn or get reminders when I take this course.

This course was well-written. It made me think about the things I want to incorporate into my own personal Code of Ethics. I appreciated the audio option a great deal. I'm glad I tried it! I really liked the short videos of scenarios illustrating the previous content. They helped the content "stick" in my mind, and clarified the content. Also, the video narrator had fantastic diction!!! Quite pleasant to listen to; I even began to anticipate the next one.

This course is for life and annuities and is the closest thing to an ethics class for health. For those that do not deal with life or annuities, having to look up life insurance terms makes this class much harder than it should be.
I used the pdf version. I didn't understand it when there was a message to return to the online course to review a case study. I think the case studyshould be included in the pdf text.
Not being able to print out the training was a problem. However, I was told this was due to an NC require that you cannot control.
I like taking smaller courses (1 or 2 hours) vs taking 6 or 7 credit hours. Too long and hard to remember all of the content.

Some people may not have understood the ability to create their plan in regards to what courses they have taken within the 24 month cycle.

This course is much too long for 1 credit hour. The content could easily be one chapter and a test. (This is the price of your success; your courses take too long to complete). The automatic filing with the state and 24/7 printing of certificates are great features, but your courses are now too long versus competitors.
