Some of the MEC info and the calculations on the las quiz before exam were hard to understand. But on so long a course I seemed to get a bit distracted and tired. But the WRONG answers to the quizzes gave me insight enough to help me with the final exam.
I loved that when I took the test, it didn't feel like they were trying to stump me, but to make the questions and answers easy to reason and a pleasure to take the test!

I all honestly I feel; once an agent has had their license for a total of 5 or more years without any infractions, we should have the option to attend a class with a licensed instructor who can do an overview and educate us on any updates that may have occurred in our licensed field.

I didn't like the voice/AI used and would have preferred a real person reading the material. The punctuation and emphasis was off and awkward which is distracting when you're trying to absorb the material.

As a former senior life underwriter I noticed a few incorrect and outdated questions. One that comes to mind is about the bodily systems and underwriter would not use to evaluate a risk. You said the answer was "skin" and I immediately thought "What about melanoma". Anyway, it can use some modernization.

This course, for whatever reason, ran smother. The voice reading was slower than the others for some reason. It was easier to focus on all questions. I learned a great deal.
There were lots of implied questions that were not fully presented during the presentation.
I use the voice option. I feel on this particular course; it went pretty fast. Words seemed to be ran into one another. Very little pauses.

There were 100 pages of content to go through. It took me more than 5 hours to study this. There was SO much information I was pretty overwhelmed, but then when I took the test it really focused more on the basics of Life Insurance. Which I was very thankful about otherwise I might not have passed as there was so much information in the study guide. Thank you.
The voice has weird inflections. But most regard the word "However" not in proper grammatical use. Don't put that word in the middle of a sentence.

Like many in the business (& I am retiring) I have been in the Med Supp/Life side for my entire 25 yrs. and I was prompted to mentally review my policies - great admirer of Annuities and Life- and I will do some re-arranging and familiarization with my beneficiaries and will also coach them on their Life policies.

I really enjoyed this one; the practical examples are extremely helpful.
The read to me audio is very helpful but the automated voice is difficult to listen to for hours. It frequently reads words with the wrong pronunciation for that circumstances and it gets hard to listen to after a while, making it easy to lose focus. Having a real person read the text instead would be better.

Some sections were EXTREMELY long and needed to be divided into smaller sections. By doing this, it will continue to keep the learner focused and not feel overwhelmed.

I love the training and continuing education setup. Since most of the questions are scenario-based, I would like more scenario-based questions in the chapter quizzes. This is just my opinion. I am not a great test taker, and I need all the practice I can get!

The CT requirement that only allows you to take only up to 8 hours a day should be bold or highlighted! This is a new requirement and if you have a course less than 8 hours you can’t take a 4 hour and a 5 hour course in one day and you can’t take a 9 hour or more course in one day. It can now take up to 5 days to complete when you could do it in several less days .

It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.

When changing the audio volume for the read-to-me feature, it would be nice if it stayed where I put it instead of having to adjust the volume on each page.
The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that

I hardly would ever have the opportunity to tell another Agent about WebCE as they usually know what they are doing for their CE and, therefore, don't bring it up.

Chapters were kinda lengthly, 6 question exams and the end of every chapter. I believe there were about 10-13 chapters total. Questions were scenario questions and quite lengthy as well.

The class credit units was inappropriate. The verbal reading in one setting took well over 4 hours. It including the exam should not have taken more than 2 hours for a computer to read the text and do the activities. If your classes continue to not be properly provided credit hours per the contect, then I can not recommend this course. Other wise it was an excellent course. Also loved the verbal reading to me.

The content was bias toward whole life. It spent a ton of time painting a negative light on VULs and leaned heavily on the guarantee of whole life products, leaving out the fact that the premiums are triple the costs.

Most tests on here are really easy. This one was substantially more difficult. Was trying to watch Monday night football and I had to take this test like 4 times. CE is such a scam and if the states were smart they would charge more $ when it comes time to renew licenses so that they can keep all the money and everyone can go back to enjoying the game.
I accomplished this however I felt like the test questions were very difficult. I'm not good at taking tests so it was difficult for me. There have just gotten to obe so many options in insurance and I sell Pre-need insurance which doesn'trequire me to know everything about selling insurances.

Much of the course content goes into far more depth than is required for the exam which makes the content more confusing and intimidating.
When seeking back in a chapter for an answer to the question. You should lead to the exact position of where the answer may be not just the chapter it is on.

One case study of a 1980s illustration is wrong and misleading...states agent "should have" used interest rates other than the current very high ones. We were and are required to use the rates being paid at the time, high or low, plus one with the minimum rate stated in the policy.

I think the time stated to complete the courses should be stated as taking a little longer than originally stated. Example: If an insured names minors as beneficiaries, the insurer might require that a guardian hold the policy death benefit proceeds until when? a. The minors were married b. The minors reach majority c. The minors are past age 30 d. The minors are retired I believe the answer is b, but majority should be maturity

The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.

The instruction was very clear and easy to follow, the course is great.
I selected the life insurance CE course for ethics, so I was surprised that liability claims were referenced throughout the course. I don't recall seeing this before.
The interactives didn't provide sound consistently.
I passed all the sections but some of them were very challenging and it took me many tries because I couldn't fully comprehend some of the tricky sections, like taxation, and numbers sections. But overall I was able to gain a lot more knowledge.

There were a few topics that seemed to me to venture a little too far into the professional workings of a CPA, such as the tax advantages and disadvantages of estate planning concepts - areas only people with appropriate licenses should advise. Everything else was relative to the insurance profession.
The audio was read too quickly at speed 1.0. At speed 0.7, it was way to slow. You need something like a 0.9.

I felt like that for some of the questions on the exam, which involved basic math skills, there was not always enough information in the question to accurately do the computations for the answers. It was super confusing!

Please don't use AI voices in the audio generation. Please pay real voice over artists for this type of content. The inflections were so bad, it was distracting. The voice would sound like it's ending sentences in the middle of a sentence. Example: "Insurance is a great way! ....To make sure customers are taken care of.

The videos are very helpful. Appreciate the key points, boxes, headings, anything to break up material and make it useable.

Base on other 3 hour courses that justified the amount of time it took to complete said course. This "4" hours course was in excess of of 4 hours to complete, Hence, re-evaluation of the credits for this course to be investigated and reconsidered for future purposes.

I struggled finding some material that I was tested on in the reading I had done. It was frustrating.

Question number 14 on the test I took for underwriting has a minor spelling error. It says "Rick" instead of "Risk"
I thought the course was unnecessarily long and too detailed for the questions asked in test.
Maybe make the audio a little less robot sounding, but that's not a huge deal.
I like the audio feature, but after a while, hearing them read the material with grammatical errors started to bother me.
When looking for reviewing the material for the test, it was hard because it did not show clearly the materials.

Unless I misread it, the material said that it is illegal for an insurer to refuse to consider a client who was declined elsewhere. But that is common in the long-term care insurance industry. My second comment is that the test questions may have been too easy.
Why are there several P&C questions when I asked for Health & Life? None of the content addressed the topics, yet they are on the test.

I really like this course content, especially the audio portion.
far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.

It seems the explanations used to describe all the features, benefits, differences between policies, the explanations regarding taxation of insurance products should be made clearer and easier to read. I found I had to re-read the information multiple times to clearly understand the taxation criteria in particular. Try to further simplify this information.

This was a very good course. It kept my attention and reminded me of things that are important. I do think the test bank for some of the quiz questions at the end of each section is not entirely accurate though. It seemed that at times there would be a question in a section that did not relate to the material of that chapter, but related to a previous or future chapter. I don't mind being quizzed on something from a previous section, but it's not prudent to have a quiz question is a section from future material not yet covered. Please have someone review the test bank to ensure the questions appear where they should.
I didn't care for the robot voice. Perhaps you could have a live actor read the script? Thank you!

Pay a real human being to read the content. That was one of the worst AI readings I have ever heard. This isn’t the most exciting material to study, so having a REAL person with realistic annunciation and cadence would have made a BIG difference. I finally turned it off and just read it myself.

There were a LOT of questions about group insurance; as a broker I have zero contact with group plans. I would say an improvement would be to take those agents that cover group and individuals into perspective more for testing and balance the questions out.

Allowing whole sentences to be highlighted as the audio is being read would be great because at times the "reader" is reading a bit fast at times. And one can visually loose their place if they are slow readers??

So complicated!!!!!! This course should come with some sort of warning. I spent at least six hours on this course and I skipped most of the last two chapters as it was way too confusing. This course needs some Recent prerequisites, like already knowing what all these types of insurance are. At the very least it needs to be organized in a way that is easier to follow instead of continually jumping back and forth. I feel like this should be more than 4 hours. Honestly, it should be about 8 hours, including some more content to make it easier to follow.
I could tell the Read-it-to-me voice was AI generated. There were times that I thought they AI voice should pause but overall it was well done.

I liked the quiz questions because they were real world relevant to day to day field work. A lot of the information in my last course was quite esoteric and very detailed and although good to know, the average agent won't use it or could use the other professionals required ie. accountants and lawyers.
Final Exam option should be considered just answering knowledge check within the courses.

As a 44+ -years insurance professional, with several professional designations, (CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARe, ARM-P, AIC) I appreciate the ease of use of WebCE's continuing educational process, and I have used them for many years. There is a vast array of available courses and as such, the required courses like Ethics and Flood are different. This helps keep the repetition of CE materials to a minimum.

All of the questions answered can tell you what was liked. What I did not like was that alot of the course seemed more annuity and pandcoriented and I am recertifying in health.
some of the information was subject to insurance companies policies but in the material it made it appear to be set in stone a certain way. Example, accelerations do not alway leave a death benefit for the remaining amount, the policy is terminated
Unfortunately, I needed to make notes to myself to recheck 13 questions before submitting my answers for grading - straightforward questions would have avoided confusion

This was a four hour credit course and it took well over five hours to go through the materials. The course should be a five or six credit course instead of four.

It was in informed class, full of information. I love the ease of the website. For a guy like me who has had insurance license for over 20 years it was great. I have not worked in the industry for the past 12. I would like to keep my endorsements and this class was great.
Followed the course through the read-along format. Once complete still needed over 30 minutes of additional instruction before being allowed to take test
The minimum passing score should be much higher, and if not passed, test taker should not be permitted more than one further attempt.

I noticed but wasn't bothered by, 1-2 typos in my ethics course. It's not helpful that I can't recall the exact lessons but with one example, the word "insured" was placed where the word "incurred" should have been.
The use of examples versus questions of fact give a better sense of material understanding hence are more effective I think.

I would recommend using a variety in who's reading the dialogue. It keeps the attention of the viewer that is listening. Maybe alternate between people a man and women's voice. Or, using two different men or two different women's voices.
I have continuously held an Oregon producer license since 1995, and renewed during each two year cycle. I have often wanted to have some of the "pre-licensing" information repeated in the courses that I have taken over the past 20+ years. This course provided that review for me and that was superb in my opinion. I have appreciated many of the previous courses I have taken from WebCE however, I am not often using the video/audio options - I have a high level of reading comprehension and prefer to handwrite notes. I was surprised to get 100% correct on this course especially as it went so smoothly. I also give a big thumbs up to WebCE for the references to case histories. Way to go! I don't need to have my continuing education done until June of 2024, but I like to take my time and complete it early, especially since I am retired now and contemplating working in the industry again, possibly adding the CMS Medicare coursework. Thanks for a good course on ethics. I do have a favorite and that was the video course by Dohrn Sr and Jr. provided by you that used both the 7 Principles of Leadership & Drucker’s Five Questions. That is a course that provides a high level of attention to integrity and building an ethical career, not just sales. Thanks for that again!
The computer voice was a little slow - possibly allow to speed up his cadence

I wish there were more frequenting practice chapter exams, too much study material in between. I also had to call to ask a simple question I didn't come across or find on the site which is how many re-takes of the exam do I get. Otherwise it has been great!
The video presentations were very well done and informative and contributed well in assisting with increasing understanding of the material. The examples clearly illustrated the differences between the different benefit riders and their provisions.
The course work was very long and difficult for me. Almost too much to take in (141 pages). I spent a lot of time reading on my own and listening to your audio. It was very complex for a 4hr CE course. I was very hesitant to take the exam as I thought I would not pass. I took the exam and thought it was much easier than I thought. I usually enjoy your courses. This one not so much but that is okay. I will be back as this works well for me. Thank you.

More examples of how taxation on the various types of life insurance would be helpful, as well as more examples of what types of life insurance are best in certain life stages (i.e. the need for Term vs. Whole vs UL vs IUL, and so on), as well as amount of coverage and optional benefits
I really liked this one and felt the situations were on a level that anyone could relate to. There were a few questions I had to check the chapter on but the correct answer was in my head, I was more double checking myself.
As I reviewed the info, after the practice questions, before the test, I tried googling a term, but the search just returned me to the entire course material. I eventually found the term, Sliding, but had to review the entire course again ....
I appreciated the ability to listen and learn
The only criticism I have is that I had to adjust the volume for each new screen - that was annoying...

I appreciated that most questions that changed language to "NOT included", or anything meant to engage critical thinking were bolded or italicized allowing opportunity to read the question clearly, and in turn answered correctly rather than banking on the test taker reading the question incorrectly and answering incorrectly.

I would make the words in the questions match the words in the course helpers. The time provided for this course does not leave much room to use critical thinking skills that the current questions asked call for. I should be able to cross reference words in the questions while doing a control "f" search in the course helper for the answers. I do appreciate that this exam was open book.

There should be an ethics presentation for health insurance agents specifically, while I am licensed in life products, my primary practice is in health arena and very little of this actually had to do with health insurance sales and standards, although I agree much of this could be crossed over in some of this material

Computer generated voices are not engaging and its pretty sad when the instructor reads the word "Cont." as part of the script. Taking a course with a real instructor would provide a better learning environment.

Overall the presentation was excellent. Particularly it was very helpful to be able to pause the audio in order to re-read a passage, or even to listen to it again. The ability to read and also to listen with flexibility was great. The only reason why I rated effectiveness a "4" instead of a "5" is because of the sometimes robotic delivery. I must say, however, that it was mostly natural, and better than most.

easy to referenc info while taking course
The pre test questions were not helpful in taking the actual module test. Even though I scored a 90% its much to difficult to recall information that is helpful. I would suggest the quiz material used for testing instead of a totally vague comprehensive questionnaire.

Although i passed with flying color's, one of the other courses assigned to me by the insurer I represent i'm not even remotely trained in (flood) and when that exam comes up it will be incredibly difficult to pass since I can't even be informed about what i got wrong. it will 100% be random chance that I pass that exam as even the practice questions require memorization of coverages specifics, percentages, roles etc which I can't reference due to it being a closed book exam. Ethics is absolutely fine in all scenario's, but i also felt it was appropriate to disclose that information.

I almost went to one of your competitors because I wanted to order a hard copy of the book but found the PDF download to be sufficient. When I called in asking for the book, your call center lady did not tell me about the ability to download PDF, but rather said NO we don't offer hard copy books any longer. Never tell a customer NO. That harsh answer is what sent me looking at other companies. If nothing else say I wish I could, but they are no longer available. However, we do offer a PDF download that you can save to your computer or future reference.

Practical cases were discussed as a part of the curriculum.
As I do not have any life, health, investment licenses, I found the content related to FINRA, ERISA and life and investment sales to be of no use.
You could make the reading of the content more human and faster. There could have been visual aides or videos to be more beneficial to the largest percent of the population that learns visually.
Complicated subject matter, but, thank goodness, the test itself was not as complex as it could have been. I had my doubts on this one.
Some video would be nice. The computer generated voice read a little slowly/awkwardly at times.

It is not clear that one must start the exam process and click the link to get to Prometric and the instruction for doing that is nowhere in the guidance materials on the site. Downloading the course pdf was not immediately apparent to me, but my email asking for assistance was answered immediately, which was very much appreciated.
First two quizzes I took I had all 4 answers correct, but both times showed one question in each quiz as incorrect. Must have been a glitch as the answer I selected (both instances) was the correct answer.

I liked that it was read to me seemed to sink in better
I would have appreciated the audio rolling over to the next section or a prompt. I'd also appreciate the ability to bump the audio speed to 1.25x regular or have a faster reader as the vast majority of the time, it felt painfully slow.
More audio explaining would be helpful
I have been using WebCE for years and will continue to do so.
the narration could have been sooooo much better if a PERSON actually read the script. the computer-generated voice was so monotone, it almost put me to sleep. Additionally, it was incorrect in the pronunciation. Just terrible.

It is excellent, but probably it would be included in the requirements for getting a license, not just for a small portion for renewal.

I'm a Life and Health Agent. The Ethics course was heavily oriented toward P & C. Maybe it would be good to align the ethics questions/topics with the primary line of authority of the student.

I liked the option of having audio or not. I think it would make it easier to find content when looking back for answers if the answers were outlined by number points or something similar so that you wouldn't have to scroll and keep reading through all of the subtitles looking for the specific section for answers.

It would be nice if the bolded words were clearly defined. There are so many detailed examples that don’t clearly define what’s being shown.

I use them every year.. It's great..
YOu learn so much more than in the one day courses crammed with subjects.... but this takes so long to listen to and the in-person or interactive courses have the advantage of the social interaction and enjoyable as no tests to worry about...just learning and questions. I wish your more difficult courses could be presented in person at least a few of the courses.

The voice for the read it to me needs to vary in tempo and tenor. It has a tendency to lull you to sleep. Further, the allotted time is shorter than it takes for the read it to me to finish the course. So, more time should be allotted.
The monotone reading of the text was not very appealing and does not emphasize the important points as would a normal reading of the text.
Suggest breaking up the 30 minute into 15 minute segments
The examples were 90% about P & C. Much of the language is unfamiliar to a Life and Health agent. I do not recall any illustrations or case studies about Health. Please ask the reader to say the complete word - not "cont" for continued

This was truly a very clear and to the point course and truly relative to testing an agent's knowledge.

Easy to understand, content great and audio helpful. Got through the course in 1 hour and 44 minutes. Had to go back through another series of audio to complete the 2 hour 30 minute minimum!

I like that it was not sectioned off as much as it was when I took CE courses a couple years back.
This last section on Ethic was much better than the first sections in the sense that explanations were less confusing.
I have been doing continuing education for my property and casualty license for over 10 years. I always wished there was an audio version because it is SO much reading and listening is better for me as a learner. I was thrilled to see the audio option in this course after all this time

Ethics course seemed to have about 1/3 of the questions geared toward OR directing covering property and casualty insurance, I signed up for L/H, ridiculous........................NB
The course kept getting paused and I would have to get out and start all over.
Very dry material, hard to stay focused on it.

The course was very good. I found it easy to follow and a very good refresher concerning ethics.
Some of the questions seemed to be very wordy (on the exam) and required a lot of "setting the the scene." Not sure what can be done about that, but it was what I least enjoyed about the course.

I did not like the audio--clearly it was read by a computer. Better to pay someone who know correct inflection/pronunciation! Otherwise I like being able to listen to the content.
When using the voice over, when you have to pause , should be set up to start where you click on the screen to continue reading. The way it is set up now if you pause voice over it starts at very beginning which added over a half hour of reading to class which is not beneficial to your clients.
I am a fast reader and learner and being forced to spend more time than needed before passing the test was irritating.
One of the questions asked about information that was nowhere in the material. (ERISA)

One thing I didn't like is I let the read it to me audio play continuously throughout the whole course and it finished up approximately 30 minutes early, so I had to go back and burn the extra time to meet the 2 Hour and 30 Minute time to take the exam.

Having a reader with some voice inflection would be far superior to Captain Monotone reading it.
This course was more of what I call continuing education than the class room equivalent ones that seemed more like studying for my original insurance license.
If a customer has an account with WebCE, it would be nice if courses already completed were indicated on the catalog page so that are not considered when choosing a course.

The courses are very lengthy. Some of the information was too much to absorb when reading. Returning to the classroom is helpful.
The question about a med sup with a network is terrible. IF the bene had a med sup prior to gettin ga new supplement, as long as it isnt a select plan, doctors hwo take medicare will take it. You got MA and Med Sup confused on this...
