It took me quite a while to figure out that I could click on the chapter to go search for answers i needed. This really slowed my progress, it took me way to long. I spent probably 15 hours total, including the test.
The history of the ins and outs of the LTC laws over the decades are not as relevant as the current laws in place. I regret reading that section as it misled me about how the policy laws work - thankfully, I kept reading, but was irritated to have been taken through out of date information, first.

Good Training Materials
The 19 minute section. And i had to pause, or rewind, it was very hard to find my spot where i left off because the time lapse line with respect to th e section duration was too short
The practice questions were formatted oddly to me.
The content was clear and the videos, graphics and audio made the learning process very relevant
The appendices were too tiny to read and yes, I could expand but the clarity was lost.
I enjoyed the fact that you could study and then take the test in portions. It made it easier, not feeling overwhelmed.
I took the course in September, and a month later when renewing my license I found out that it was a PA course, not IA. I had to re-take, and no one at Webce, or the Iowa Insurance Division could give me any good answers. Carrie at WebCe was very helpful getting me signed back in to take the Iowa course.

there is an inaccuracy in the material. when talking about taking policy loans from permanent life insurance it states that the loan interest rate is greater than the guaranteed rate credited. That is not accurate in every case. Foresters Whole Life Insurance offers a guaranteed rate that is greater than the rate charged for a loan.
felt like there were sections that went into a lot of detail for Washington State and others that were duplicative.

I dislike ambiguous questions! I am a CEO of a multimillion dollar company and if you are going to provide 5 hours of credit it should only take a maximum of 5 hours to complete the 5 hour course! This is not the case with your programs, especially if you utilize the audio feature! Otherwise ;you waste valuable time. No other certifying organization I associate with operates like this

I wasn't sure how to answer the Website question, as i believe I found the course another way. I thought it was an excellent course, and I learned a great deal from it. It did a good job of clarifying/defining the roles of Medicare, Med Supp policies, Medicaid, and self-funding.

I don't like them 40 question tests
This was way too long for a 4 hour CE class. I had the content read to me and it took over 8 hours to complete the course. The first 5 or 6 chapters could be cut in half because it was redundant to the last 3 or 4 chapters which talked about VA exclusively which is what the primary goal of the class is. This class would have been fine if it was an 8 hour CE class which is what it should be. I can't think of anything else that needs to be talked about in a longer LTC class. Make it shorter if it's just a 4 hour class!!

It listed other choices. I chose a random one and suppose I got it correct but please update for future test takers. Thanks!

The read to me audio is very helpful but the automated voice is difficult to listen to for hours. It frequently reads words with the wrong pronunciation for that circumstances and it gets hard to listen to after a while, making it easy to lose focus. Having a real person read the text instead would be better.

One of the interactive panes responded inaccurately to what I had selected two times. Just flagging - it was obvious so it didn't affect my learning.
The audio pronunciations were occasionally abnormal, and I found many typos in every course I have taken so far.

In 2025, the questions referenced FSA maximums going back to 2014 ($2,500) which made the questions regarding maximums and rollovers a bit confusing.
A different voice, that uses the proper tone while reading would be nice. The e-reader voice was very boring to listen to. Easier for us to get distracted with this one.
The course is very clear and professional.
Some of the limits for FSA on the questions were outdated for 2025 - Carryover and employee contribution limits.

I learned a few things about LTC that made the course worth while to me
My only complaint is the following. I used the "read to me" feature and it tooke more like 6 hours to go through all the material. I did a some pausing and revisiting of material so it took me closer to 8 hours to accomplish the same thing. However, taking that time off, it still took longer than 4 hours, which is how it is advertized to get through all the content plus do the quizes.

when you have the automatic reader reading the course for you, it takes double the time that is required with the State requirements. if there is a certain requirement of information of each course required by the state to complete a course, it should be communicated to the purchaser/student of the proper setting of the readback feature to comply with the hour equivalent. As well as whether a person can understand the information given at that speed needs to be a communicated. Basically the course took Almost twice as long as rock was required by the state with regards to continuing education hours.

You should have a section in Individual health Care Reimbursement Accounts which are very popular
I love the training and continuing education setup. Since most of the questions are scenario-based, I would like more scenario-based questions in the chapter quizzes. This is just my opinion. I am not a great test taker, and I need all the practice I can get!

Specifically, how does having the mandatory LTSS insurance impact/guide getting additional LTCI coverage (does it provide asset protection, etc.)? Assuming most WA residents will not have the LTSS exemption- they will likely be adding to the coverage.

The question about different client's occupations and who was more likely to need LTC coverage was confusing - it was, in fact, the only question I got wrong - please provide ample information (or any information, for that matter) for this kind of scenario in the course if you intend to keep this question as part of the exam.

Since your offer some of the material in a separate course, don't include it in this course but require the QSEHRA be completed prior to this course. Also you combined 'traditional' group health, ie non-HSA plans and HSA plans under the same label. That was a little confusing because other course separate the two types, Traditional, and Qualified High Deductible.
The audio was a bit monotone so hard to listen to. However, I could read it all myself and the bullet point and case studies were great, really enjoyed those!

Although I did very well on the exam, I felt that the content of the Chapters were very specific in nature, while the exam questions were very general and made it somewhat difficult to select the correct answers. Overall, I'm very satisfied!.
When changing the audio volume for the read-to-me feature, it would be nice if it stayed where I put it instead of having to adjust the volume on each page.

Aside from the initial technical issues regarding reCAPTCHA, the course itself was quite interesting and helpful.
Just the time allotted to complete was not enough. It took 3 1/2 hours and I was scheduled 1 1/2.
Again, large book to read through with much content and then the test seems to focus a small portion of the material. Would be nice if book was half the size with focused content for the exam.

The HDHP plan questions gave an example of an HDHP plan with a $1500 deductible. That is below the minimum for HDHP plans.

I paused the course for a short time & when I went back to it, there were 2 voices reading the materials out loud but a sentence or two apart. It made it impossible to understand what they were saying. Hard to stop the entire class, shut down & start over. this also happened in another class that I was taking a few days ago.
Do not understand why can not study again in a valid tome , passing the esam is not the only goal.
The pause in the practice unit questions were a little lagged so I passed by after only answering one the first time

Almost all death benefits are variable and grow with cash. The applicant is not making an offer, she is simply applying. No competitive companies offer decreasing term, they all write level term. If you have minors as beneficiaries, make sure you have a living trust. If someone has an unstable income, you should not write them any life insurance as it will likely lapse; what is the agent going to do? call the insured every month to see if they sold a painting and remind them to pay? In many ways, annuities are more flexible for seniors than other investments. All, 100% of annuities have free withdrawals. Mutual funds get you with a front end load, you pay taxes an gains every year, and you pay taxes if you withdrawal. That's why affluent and wealthy investors buy annuities over mutual funds. Just a few thoughts.

It was simple and easy to understand
I felt the course was somewhat challenging, which is good, and I appreciated the Read It To Me Audio. It helped.
One case study of a 1980s illustration is wrong and misleading...states agent "should have" used interest rates other than the current very high ones. We were and are required to use the rates being paid at the time, high or low, plus one with the minimum rate stated in the policy.
I have been a licensed agent since 2007 and have always used Web CE for CEU's throughout.

The short videos to check ones understanding of what was read was good. The examples to explain more fully the information was very helpful. I liked the summaries and the short quizzes to check ones understanding of the chapter. However, sometimes the reading was difficult to understand, and more time needed to be spent re-reading certain sections.

The material was too much for CE. It was like taking the exam over again. It should be an overview of the information, not starting all over again.

My opinion: A 7-hour course is too long. This course could have been divided into 4/3. There were parts that were technical details, especially in the life portions, that are the inner workings of the ins. Co, that may not be so relevant to the agent and client

I selected the life insurance CE course for ethics, so I was surprised that liability claims were referenced throughout the course. I don't recall seeing this before.

Much of the content was based on P & C Insurance and my area is life and health, so it was probably not the best content.
I like that the course is self-paced and if I have to stop to do something else it bookmarks where I left off so I can start there. I have used WEB CE several times and would not go back to the company I used in the past. This course is affordable and easy to follow and I would recommend it to all Agenst as the best option for CE classes.
The reading it to me and connection to the site are strong so it’s very easy to use. I didn’t see it as an option but the case studies chosen incorporated such nuanced history of things I’ve seen in the industry that it feels smart and relevant!

Please don't use AI voices in the audio generation. Please pay real voice over artists for this type of content. The inflections were so bad, it was distracting. The voice would sound like it's ending sentences in the middle of a sentence. Example: "Insurance is a great way! ....To make sure customers are taken care of.

If an agent does not anticipate ever selling Long Term Care Insurance it should be a short short course if it is bundled to achieve the 24 hours needed. This course was too in depth and was like trying to learn the Internal Revenue Code! It was exhausting.

Given the content of the course material, it was difficult at times to remain engaged during some of the lengthier segments. I most definitely appreciate not having to click the button to move forward to more content every few sentences or paragraphs, but a little bit more breakdown in those longer sections could help make it easier to stay engaged.

I thought the first seven chapter of this lesson were well broken down. However, the chapter that pertained to Washington State was by far the least enjoyable and drab.
Best web based CE I have used in my career as a CPA and CFP. Recommended by my Son In Law, will be returning for other courses.
I didn't like the minimum time allotment. I am a fast reader and a good test taker and usually will finish a little quicker.

When looking for reviewing the material for the test, it was hard because it did not show clearly the materials.
Unless I misread it, the material said that it is illegal for an insurer to refuse to consider a client who was declined elsewhere. But that is common in the long-term care insurance industry. My second comment is that the test questions may have been too easy.
Why are there several P&C questions when I asked for Health & Life? None of the content addressed the topics, yet they are on the test.
Great balance. Read it to me audio was the key at age 66. The test question were challenging. No trick questions. One incomplete question i think. You asked about a hospital admission for an emergency surgery but did not list the number of days. I think you could have an emergency and not be in the hospital for three days. I'm beyond traditional memorization as a mode of learning. For decades I have not relied on my memory. IfI don't know the answer to a question - I don't guess. Your audio was very logical and easy to follow. It is important to know how the skilled nursing benefit works under Medicare. 100 days after a three day hospital stay. First 20 days covered at 100%. IF YOU DO YOU THERAPY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Respectfully I have one area of concern. Under the title - No Comprehensive LTC Component - the statement "With regard to nursing home care, Medicare covers only those services that help a patient recover from an acute illness or injury. Payment for skilled nursing care by Medicare requires that the patient must have first been admitted and hospitalized for the same condition." I do not think this is correct because of the JIMMO Settlement of 2013. From the CMS.GOV website - In essence, the Jimmo Settlement Agreement clarifies Medicare’s longstanding policy that coverage of skilled nursing and skilled therapy services in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Home Health (HH), and Outpatient Therapy (OPT) settings does not turn on the presence or absence of a beneficiary’s potential for improvement, but rather on the beneficiary’s need for skilled care. Admittedly, I am a perfectionist. So, I read everything and to all the quizzes unlike many others who say they just want to pass. I want 100% accuracy. But, still, reading everything, doing all the quizzes, and then getting through these LONG Courses, takes all day! (I cannot do my CE renewals during 4th quarter -- I already work 14-16 hours a day. January is out of the question due to fixing 4th quarter issues -- still 14 hour days. So February, my birhtmonth, is when I have to get all my CE credits done. It is stressful because I still work at least 12 hours a day. My weekends in February are consumed with getting re-licensed. These just take too much time. Any way of condensing the courses? The are good and valuable, but after having done this every two years, five times now, I am tired of them because I know my stuff. I guess everyone doesn't, but these can be taxing. Even my teaching certificate only had to be renewed once every 5 years. Sorry -- but I feel better having vented. But, UGH! I have only done 2 courses this weekend. - 7 credits. I still have 17 more credit hours to go and only two more weekends to get them done.

The course was great with the exception of a lot of information included that is not necessary. There are long paragraphs of outdated information that are excessive and unnecessary to the knowledge that should be retained from the course.
I keep returning to this site due to the easiness of obtaining continual education hours and if I have any questions I speak to a representative
I like the fact that it tells what Chapter to look for an answer if you have doubt about an answer you picked.
For myself, this took about an extra hour beyond the required time. Between the modules and the practice tests and 25 point test, it was 5 hours and I stayed the whole time with it. Online courses just take so much longer than stated time for myself. Always preferred in person learning.

The audio/read feature is a bit hard to understand pronunciations and find your place if you stop to re-read the material.

being an agent of 25 yrs now, there is nothing i hate more than CE courses that ask test questions that have zero to do with my industry. when i take a life course, i dont need to be trying to decipher casualty, health, annuity information within the test questions. be more specific to what i purchased

As a 44+ -years insurance professional, with several professional designations, (CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARe, ARM-P, AIC) I appreciate the ease of use of WebCE's continuing educational process, and I have used them for many years. There is a vast array of available courses and as such, the required courses like Ethics and Flood are different. This helps keep the repetition of CE materials to a minimum.

I felt that there was too much information and questions on Property and casualty insurance. I am not licensed for that and made it somewhat difficult. Not a big deal, but there were a couple of questions about an aspect of P & C that I was not familiar with.

This is a good course. However, the required reading, if using the "read to me audio" is significantly more than four hours. This is misleading and longer than the four hour CE credit this course qualifies participants who pass the exam to receive. Some of the content is repetitive and the course could be edited to more accurately reflect a four-hour time commitment.
I talked with Will who helped me package the various courses to satisfy my Professional Designation and KY Insurance requirements. He was polite, helpful, and efficient.

It was in informed class, full of information. I love the ease of the website. For a guy like me who has had insurance license for over 20 years it was great. I have not worked in the industry for the past 12. I would like to keep my endorsements and this class was great.
Followed the course through the read-along format. Once complete still needed over 30 minutes of additional instruction before being allowed to take test
The minimum passing score should be much higher, and if not passed, test taker should not be permitted more than one further attempt.

I have continuously held an Oregon producer license since 1995, and renewed during each two year cycle. I have often wanted to have some of the "pre-licensing" information repeated in the courses that I have taken over the past 20+ years. This course provided that review for me and that was superb in my opinion. I have appreciated many of the previous courses I have taken from WebCE however, I am not often using the video/audio options - I have a high level of reading comprehension and prefer to handwrite notes. I was surprised to get 100% correct on this course especially as it went so smoothly. I also give a big thumbs up to WebCE for the references to case histories. Way to go! I don't need to have my continuing education done until June of 2024, but I like to take my time and complete it early, especially since I am retired now and contemplating working in the industry again, possibly adding the CMS Medicare coursework. Thanks for a good course on ethics. I do have a favorite and that was the video course by Dohrn Sr and Jr. provided by you that used both the 7 Principles of Leadership & Drucker’s Five Questions. That is a course that provides a high level of attention to integrity and building an ethical career, not just sales. Thanks for that again!
The computer voice was a little slow - possibly allow to speed up his cadence
My feeling is that a 10 credit course took an awful long time, and it would’ve been a lot nicer if it was broken down to two or three credit courses for a total of 10.
I like and appreciate the detailed but direct explanations, and the case studies really enhance the learning experience.

I wish there were more frequenting practice chapter exams, too much study material in between. I also had to call to ask a simple question I didn't come across or find on the site which is how many re-takes of the exam do I get. Otherwise it has been great!

Wish I didn't need to be logged in for 4 hours to complete content I can review in 30 minutes and still score very well. Probably more feedback for the state and their rules than webce, but wanted to share it regardless.

I really liked this one and felt the situations were on a level that anyone could relate to. There were a few questions I had to check the chapter on but the correct answer was in my head, I was more double checking myself.
As I reviewed the info, after the practice questions, before the test, I tried googling a term, but the search just returned me to the entire course material. I eventually found the term, Sliding, but had to review the entire course again ....
I appreciated the ability to listen and learn
The only criticism I have is that I had to adjust the volume for each new screen - that was annoying...

I finished the course content but couldn't take the exam right away. I had to wait to complete the Exam which was a waste of time.
The following fact contradicts the attribute of the policies I sell: "The interest rate that the insured pays the insurer for the loan is always greater than the rate credited to the contract by the insurer."

A good product with clear information.
Very thorough, great information and lots of material. However, way too detailed on the partnership, medicaid and medicare. Also, I assumed that if I followed the voice for each section, that would comprise the 4 hours but that was not the case. I learned after about 4.5 hors that I should go at my own pace and it took what I thought it would be 4 hours up to about 6 hours. Very frustrating at that should be spelled out in the instructions and directions.
None at this time.
Make it known if using the content being read aloud will take over 4 hours.
I like the fact that we can obtain CE credits online and not have to take a whole day out of our office work and travel to an outside facility

I appreciated that most questions that changed language to "NOT included", or anything meant to engage critical thinking were bolded or italicized allowing opportunity to read the question clearly, and in turn answered correctly rather than banking on the test taker reading the question incorrectly and answering incorrectly.
It's well done and no trick questions
I would make the words in the questions match the words in the course helpers. The time provided for this course does not leave much room to use critical thinking skills that the current questions asked call for. I should be able to cross reference words in the questions while doing a control "f" search in the course helper for the answers. I do appreciate that this exam was open book.

There should be an ethics presentation for health insurance agents specifically, while I am licensed in life products, my primary practice is in health arena and very little of this actually had to do with health insurance sales and standards, although I agree much of this could be crossed over in some of this material

Computer generated voices are not engaging and its pretty sad when the instructor reads the word "Cont." as part of the script. Taking a course with a real instructor would provide a better learning environment.

Overall the presentation was excellent. Particularly it was very helpful to be able to pause the audio in order to re-read a passage, or even to listen to it again. The ability to read and also to listen with flexibility was great. The only reason why I rated effectiveness a "4" instead of a "5" is because of the sometimes robotic delivery. I must say, however, that it was mostly natural, and better than most.

easy to referenc info while taking course
The pre test questions were not helpful in taking the actual module test. Even though I scored a 90% its much to difficult to recall information that is helpful. I would suggest the quiz material used for testing instead of a totally vague comprehensive questionnaire.
I was actually thinking that the materials and presentation would be very beneficial for employee training.

It is a very "non stressing" course. Listening is a much better way to not miss content.

Although i passed with flying color's, one of the other courses assigned to me by the insurer I represent i'm not even remotely trained in (flood) and when that exam comes up it will be incredibly difficult to pass since I can't even be informed about what i got wrong. it will 100% be random chance that I pass that exam as even the practice questions require memorization of coverages specifics, percentages, roles etc which I can't reference due to it being a closed book exam. Ethics is absolutely fine in all scenario's, but i also felt it was appropriate to disclose that information.

I almost went to one of your competitors because I wanted to order a hard copy of the book but found the PDF download to be sufficient. When I called in asking for the book, your call center lady did not tell me about the ability to download PDF, but rather said NO we don't offer hard copy books any longer. Never tell a customer NO. That harsh answer is what sent me looking at other companies. If nothing else say I wish I could, but they are no longer available. However, we do offer a PDF download that you can save to your computer or future reference.

The course content is excellent. Just one comment, ...On the exam, ques #7 the sentence reads," Regarding an agent's failure to observe his or her duties to the insurer...: Observe may not be the correct word here. Perhaps disclose is the more appropriate word.

As I do not have any life, health, investment licenses, I found the content related to FINRA, ERISA and life and investment sales to be of no use.
You could make the reading of the content more human and faster. There could have been visual aides or videos to be more beneficial to the largest percent of the population that learns visually.
Some video would be nice. The computer generated voice read a little slowly/awkwardly at times.
More engaging than the average online Ethics course, therefore easier to remember the material.
It would be nice if there was a less robotic voice reading the chapters.

Please make explicit instructions for using ProProctor Prometric remote proctoring more easily accessible. It is not clear that one must start the exam process and click the link to get to Prometric and the instruction for doing that is nowhere in the guidance materials on the site. I had to call to find out how to get to it.

I appreciated the opportunity at the end of the Final Exam to confirm the question that was graded 'incorrect.' Now I have learned to READ every question carefully so as to not misinterpret the question...the one I missed was obvious when given the chance to see!

Downloading the course pdf was not immediately apparent to me, but my email asking for assistance was answered immediately, which was very much appreciated.
First two quizzes I took I had all 4 answers correct, but both times showed one question in each quiz as incorrect. Must have been a glitch as the answer I selected (both instances) was the correct answer.

the narration could have been sooooo much better if a PERSON actually read the script. the computer-generated voice was so monotone, it almost put me to sleep. Additionally, it was incorrect in the pronunciation. Just terrible.

I liked the option of having audio or not. I think it would make it easier to find content when looking back for answers if the answers were outlined by number points or something similar so that you wouldn't have to scroll and keep reading through all of the subtitles looking for the specific section for answers.

Mind numbingly boring... sorry! I had hoped for lots of interesting ethics cases but a lot of the content was very basic.
Second time using WebCe, will continue every 2 years!
It would be nice if the bolded words were clearly defined. There are so many detailed examples that don’t clearly define what’s being shown.

I use them every year.. It's great..
YOu learn so much more than in the one day courses crammed with subjects.... but this takes so long to listen to and the in-person or interactive courses have the advantage of the social interaction and enjoyable as no tests to worry about...just learning and questions. I wish your more difficult courses could be presented in person at least a few of the courses.

I'm a CFP® and learned from your material. Well done and efficient.
The voice for the read it to me needs to vary in tempo and tenor. It has a tendency to lull you to sleep. Further, the allotted time is shorter than it takes for the read it to me to finish the course. So, more time should be allotted.
The monotone reading of the text was not very appealing and does not emphasize the important points as would a normal reading of the text.
Suggest breaking up the 30 minute into 15 minute segments
The examples were 90% about P & C. Much of the language is unfamiliar to a Life and Health agent. I do not recall any illustrations or case studies about Health. Please ask the reader to say the complete word - not "cont" for continued

This was truly a very clear and to the point course and truly relative to testing an agent's knowledge.
It was easy reading. I liked that I could listen to the lesson
i like the mini quiz version of testing instead of the long 45 question exam that doesnt go over the answers.

Easy to understand, content great and audio helpful. Got through the course in 1 hour and 44 minutes. Had to go back through another series of audio to complete the 2 hour 30 minute minimum!

I like that it was not sectioned off as much as it was when I took CE courses a couple years back.
This last section on Ethic was much better than the first sections in the sense that explanations were less confusing.
I have been doing continuing education for my property and casualty license for over 10 years. I always wished there was an audio version because it is SO much reading and listening is better for me as a learner. I was thrilled to see the audio option in this course after all this time

Ethics course seemed to have about 1/3 of the questions geared toward OR directing covering property and casualty insurance, I signed up for L/H, ridiculous........................NB
The course kept getting paused and I would have to get out and start all over.
Very dry material, hard to stay focused on it.

The course was very good. I found it easy to follow and a very good refresher concerning ethics.
Some of the questions seemed to be very wordy (on the exam) and required a lot of "setting the the scene." Not sure what can be done about that, but it was what I least enjoyed about the course.

I did not like the audio--clearly it was read by a computer. Better to pay someone who know correct inflection/pronunciation! Otherwise I like being able to listen to the content.
When using the voice over, when you have to pause , should be set up to start where you click on the screen to continue reading. The way it is set up now if you pause voice over it starts at very beginning which added over a half hour of reading to class which is not beneficial to your clients.
I am a fast reader and learner and being forced to spend more time than needed before passing the test was irritating.
One of the questions asked about information that was nowhere in the material. (ERISA)

CE course was too long. Like trying to get the license again. Some info was redundant in my opinion. Make it more concise.

One thing I didn't like is I let the read it to me audio play continuously throughout the whole course and it finished up approximately 30 minutes early, so I had to go back and burn the extra time to meet the 2 Hour and 30 Minute time to take the exam.

Having a reader with some voice inflection would be far superior to Captain Monotone reading it.

This course was more of what I call continuing education than the class room equivalent ones that seemed more like studying for my original insurance license.
If a customer has an account with WebCE, it would be nice if courses already completed were indicated on the catalog page so that are not considered when choosing a course.

Sometimes sentences have a double negative; where a positive would suffice.
It took me straight to a test and didn't review with me but I did great on my test from prior knowledge.

The courses are very lengthy. Some of the information was too much to absorb when reading. Returning to the classroom is helpful.
The question about a med sup with a network is terrible. IF the bene had a med sup prior to gettin ga new supplement, as long as it isnt a select plan, doctors hwo take medicare will take it. You got MA and Med Sup confused on this...

I like the fact you have the option of using audio which makes reading the text quicker.

It would be nice to have the ability to speed up (or slow down) the rate at which the "read to me audio" feature can be used.
I liked the course but the change in font size was very difficult on my eyes. I had to keep adjusting it and my eyes are exhausted now.
