I listened to the whole course and did each quiz but somehow was short 35 min so I had to relisten to the content again. Please shorten the required time needed to complete the course by atleast 30 minutes.
The training lasted more than 3 hours as indicated. Reduce it to the hour indicated
it's long & daunting. 411 on health insurance would benefit me bettter. not too much to choose from.
I appreciate doing the test at the end of each section vs waiting until the end of the course.

Course options are well priced. It was easy to pick and choose what I wanted for my state (NJ) CE. The choice of courses was very good. I wish some of the courses were monitor free, but I stuck with that for the most part.

The variable annuity material was very thorough with clear examples.
My only feedback is that it took longer than expected. However, I should note that the course itself stated it would take about 3 hours which ended up being pretty accurate. I was told beforehand that it would take a little less than two though, which is the reason for this comment. I don't believe that is the fault of the course...
I have recommended WEBCE to others.
This course is geared towards life insurance professionals and financial planners, not property/casualty insurance professionals. Much of the content was very specific to the life and financial services products, making it a terrible choice for those in the property/casualty arena.
Like the Examples that were given in different scenarios. I didnt want to listen to the audio because it sounds monotone like a robot, so I read it all instead. Having different colors or mailing a booklet helps me because I am a mature learner who is used to books and note-taking. In the different college classes I took over a 30 years of my life, we always listened, took notes, study, and then test. The time allotted on these lessons needs to be longer. Thank you

Honestly, I have loved all the courses I have taken through WEB CE except this one. Perhaps it is the difficulty of the material itself, but I really struggled with this course. It was NOT enjoyable at all, and found myself not even wanting to even finish the course, but of course, toughed it out. Fortunately, the test wasn't as challenging as it could have been, but the material itself just isn't my "cup of tea." One other feedback, I wish there were more courses on the Medicare side of things. Thank you!!!

Some other sections were so long and covered so much information that I had a hard time distinguishing the types of insurance or annuities clearly in my mind. I sell Medicare Supplements and this is my 1st CE class. Some of the material was overwhelming me. I'd rather see material presented in more sections, as not to bombard my brain with too much information at once.

This is an effective and easy system to use.
The A.I. reader needs an upgrade. The cadence/pacing was irregular in places, and a few words (like “present”) were mispronounced as their alternative meeting (i.e. “present” was pronounced as in the “gift” meaning rather than the “delivery” meaning). These pacing and pronunciation issues distract from the learning process.
There were janus answers to choose from making two answers to choose from the same. Also, the section mentioning the housing crash and depression does not explain why it occurred when it that is an import part of understanding the context.
It was very well written and I like to learn in small "chucks" versus trying to memorize a book. Thank you!

Have to be here. Have to do it. Otherwise I found zero learning or value to anything here. You have a great business model. To be honest, I found a competitor the other day for much much less. I couldn't find them on the weekend and only paid this becasue it was in my computer memory. I don't know what sort of comments you want from me. Other than, make it cheaper, make it faster, and make it cheaper.

For this course, there were some misspellings of words, especially in the last half. Also in the last 25% occasionally, what showed I clicked for an answer, was not what I clicked a few times. Other than that, it was ok.

Having a system simply read the words on the page to you is not engaging. I'm capable of reading and can read much faster. Rather, it would be helpful to set up the information into micro learnings with videos that feel more like watching TV. On the positive note, I appreciate that the chapters were broken down to quizes after each chapter rather than having to take one big test at the end!

I like the read-to-me audio feature; however, I think it could be improved to sound more natural in inflections, pacing, etc. I used the read-to-me audio feature offered on my computer instead because it sounded much more like a real person & was easier to comprehend. Also, the read-to-me feature could be improved by including a moving highlight that allows your eyes to follow where the audio is at. It would also be helpful if you could click on a certain word you'd like the audio to start from, so that if you need to go back & reread anything, you don't have to just guess how far back to rewind the audio to get to that section.

I read everything but it's frustrating that so many concepts and information are repeated over and over to ensure comprehension. I am a quick study and only need to be told once and I have the information needed. I enjoyed this course is well written and concise the content is excellent and relevant. I would recommend that the pictures at the beginning of the course be removed they serve no purpose and that the continue button be available at the top of the exams.
Wording of questions on exams use a lot of misleading sentence structure such as negatives/double negatives. There were also a few grammatical errors. It felt like the questions were generated by AI or by someone who hasn't studied how to create effective exam questions. Overall, easy to use and I appreciated the use of examples within the provided reading materials.
Maybe if next time you can place videos, not necessarily Hollywood styles, but creative ones, like the ones drawing or just regular people and also videos explaining cases to understand the compliance better.

Sometime the questions appear to have all right or all wrong questions. I then am asked to choose which is the most right or which is the most wrong.
On modules that my password would need reset due to time limits, the "read it to me audio" did not come back on for the remainder of that section.
I found the content to be challenging especially the different ways of calculating interest rate. Not sure how to make it more understandable.

I found navigating the site to be a nightmare, perhaps because OAA has an arrangement to pay for it. I attempted to start at 11am on Friday, and was not able to actually start a course until after 4pm. I spent almost two hours that morning just trying to figure it all out. My OAA rep finally helped, but even with his help it took awhile to get it set up. It took me 20 minutes this morning to figure out how to get back to the page with my courses!

1. The time allotted to complete the course is not nearly accurate to the actual time to complete the course. 2. This particular course had some chapters that were confusing by their wording, descriptions and examples, particularly the chapter that taught calculating cash value, cost of insurance, interest etc.
We could use some video content to help understand about the content of the chapter.
I liked being able to pause, save and come back to it.
the study material was fine. Finding the instruction for the ethics class was horrifying and stressful. I like the audio. I have a team and not sure if they can navigate easily. I may have to try and recommend another account. I have another 2 so far and a budding team.

This is my 2nd time using webce. Love the ease of purchase & the audio.
Slow down the reader. I was done 45 minutes short of the 3 hours. And I found the speed of the reader to be pretty quick. It would be cool, too, if the AI reader's audit could be edited to use some emphasis, or use the correct pronunciation of a word for the context (present the verb instead of present the noun).

This course was easy to navigate, and there were a lot of resources provided before taking the test.
i like the chapter test but if we pass , that should be sufficient. I like taking material in small bites. Not large exams
The course is very informative but too many chapters and questions. Why not be consistent and give 5 questions per chapter and 10 - 12 chapters instead of 16.

This course was HARD! Especially with all the calculations. Chapter 7 did not provide sufficient information to answer some of the questions on the quiz so I had to use many outside resources for help.
I have used other CE educational resources and this has been by far my best experience. Great Job team. You came highly recommended and I agree!

I do not mean to be critical but I would like to suggest a few things. There has got to be a way to avoid closely wording 2 of the 4 multiple choice answers. It only creates doubt and I feel it does a disservice to the learning objective. I want to learn, not get confused or frustrated. I find that spending time trying to find where, within the chapter, the correct sentence is, that allows me the learning moment I am supposed to take away from the sole purpose of these Continuing Ed Courses. Another observation or suggestion - - make the chapters shorter. The longer a chapter is, especially on confusing topics such as indexed annuities, the harder it is to retain the necessary information in order to pass the test. I got really frustrated this go around and I am a repeat customer. I come back year after year. I thrive in good, clear instruction and there has to be a better way to do that than this frustrating way. I really want you to know that this is just good old fashioned constructive criticism, no mean intent at all.
Need more classroom equivalent classes. I believe I have taken all that are available over the years and would like more variety. Could some the the non-classroom equivalent classes be presented as classroom equivalent in the future. There are some interesting topics, but they do not meet the requirements for my license renewal.
I didn't care for the robot voice on the autoplay recording. It would be nice if you had a real person read the script.
I find the computer based text to voice to be a little annoying. Using real voice over talent would make this much better for the listener.

Some of the test questions were terrible. To have over 100 pages and no glossary of terms is ridiculous. This is a CE course not a credential. The take way learning is sub standard....and many of the testing questions are buried in text minutiae
The read to me feature needs to have "pauses" in between paragraphs to help with not getting lost.

I understand annuities are life products, but the majority of life and health agents don't sell this product. Therefore I think this course should not be part of the bundle for Life and Health CEs, but an option. Annuities are complex financial products and I guarantee I won't remember much of this past the test, simply because it's not relevant to my business, at this moment.

This course was clearly written and informative. The one drawback for me, personally, is that it focuses on life insurance and investment products when my focus is health insurance. However, the content was, in most cases, easily applicable.

I have taken many, many Ethics courses over the last 15 years of my life insurance business and I can state this was the best Ethics course I have ever taken. This course verbiage was written better than any other I have ever read. Ethics is very important to me and I practice them daily in my business. Therefore, I despise taking Ethics courses but I can honestly state I actually enjoyed this course. Again, it was extremely well written.
The audio was terrible to listen to. It's clear, but the computer generated voice is monotone and does not read the sentences in a natural flow, but rather, breaks in inappropriate areas making it distracting and difficult to follow.
I really enjoyed the course material and the support of cross-referencing during the open book exam

Generally I liked the course, but I found the (presumably) AI voice reading the content to be rather grating on the nerves, with its shallow range of inflections and repetitive voice patterns. It made it difficult for me to stay focused on the material.
I think the golden rule is out dated. We should treat others as they want to be treated, not how we would want to be treated. Everyone is different.

The course is way too long, 80 questions on the exam. 8 hrs of content? you get lost in the content after 6hrs.
I have been using Web CE for years now for the CFP continuing education requirements and the newer IRA requirements. There appeared to be a small glitch in the progress bar at the upper right corner of the screen. Often, it showed progress greater than what had actually occurred. Once, it jumped forwards and backwards. This is the first time I have noticed this small problem.

In selecting my courses, it was a challenge to find out what LTC course I needed to take to satisfy the Calif requirement for the initial 8 hours. I wish it would state that in the course description that it satisfices the Calif state requirement.
Too many screens to prove I'm not a robot.
I wish the read-it-to-me audio sounded natural like a real person speaking and not a robot or AI. It is difficult to understand the content of the material when it isn't spoken with natural pauses and voice infections. So I just read it to myself instead of utilizing the audio. It took much longer for me this way.
Some comments seemed very opinionated concerning more recent law changes, should just be factual not company or corporate based opinion.

The course I took was on ethics. I liked how easy it was to focus on the answers according to the target of the lesson, ethics. (Not right and wrong or best practice, ethics, with a very clear definition in the beginning.) Thanks for that.
It is very hard to get thru this course -- it seems to be prime concern to say in 200 words what could be said in 20. There is way too much to read, much of it redundant or unnecessary
I apologize but the content appeared to be complicated for me. I know that I only have sold Life Insurance and haven't dealt with Annuities and that probably is the reason for only getting a 84%.
If I use the Read-it-to-me audio there is no way I should end up with a half an hour more to do. The audio should take me closer to the timeline.
As a commercial property/casualty CSR, the course was not geared towards my position in the agency. Also, the Read-It-To-Me-Videos were not all that effective. Just glad to meet my licensing requirement!

Outside of the fact that it's required... I find it absolutely worthless.
The AI voice is like a sleeping pill. No inflections, mispronunciation of words given context made this monotonous. Hire a voice actor(like me!) for a more effective and memorable learning experience.

many of the exam questions were not very clear. Especially computing problems. More time and explanations should have been given during the course. I don't think it's just me. I love annuities and try my best to understand them. The life should be totally seperate from an annuities. I think this is where I got confused on the test computing.
Too much information and no need for the required overview. Agents should have the option to review but it takes too much extra time.
I was surprised at how comprehensive the material was and how much I learned!

I love that there is so much information; on the other hand, there is SO MUCH information! Reading it all is very valuable, but also very time-consuming (and yes, I know that I'm saving time taking online vs spending an actual 3 hours in a classroom; we've become spoiled! Haha!!).
The subject matter is dry but it is presented well and efficiently.
Use more and Simpler calculating examples for the crediting section... was confusing, had to spend most time trying to make sure I could recognize the correct amounts...

not all sections have a glossary. glossary is a MUST. MANDATORY. if one doesnt grasp the terms they are going nowhere fast

I said before, unlike AHIP tests, your questions are not SUPER wordy with SUB-Questions thrown into the main question. I swear that the AHIP testing site had SOME questions that were at LEAST 60 words long!

Reading and hearing the material made the course more enjoyable
The difficulty of this continuing education exam is equivalent to the actual licensing exam in question. For continuing education credit hours, I'd ask for a strong reevaluation of the amount of hours credited given the difficulty of the content and the pedantic vagueness and design of the questions written in the practice quizzes and final exam. In my opinion, continuing education should be about reinforcing existing knowledge, not spending several minutes per question attempting to decipher the author's intent in order to code-break what answer lies within the vague pocket of the jaded professor.
The material is very dry; the layout is very bland and boring; the audio is computer-generated.

This was a difficult course with content I was not familiar with. I definitely learned some new things, but with my learning style I had a difficult time mastering the material enough to pass the exam. I eventually did. Offering some sort of study guide might be helpful for this in the future.

The Auot Play voice reads entirely too slowly. people do not speak at such a slow pace as it interferes with the learning/absorption process. One could guess is that the slow speech pattern has been dumbed down to an elementary grade level or for persons speaking English as a second language which in that case is entirely understandable.

In "Answers to Chapter 3 Review Questions", there is an error. The correct answer to question # 3, is, B (M0nthly), but is marked as "a", Weekly.

The content is complicated and needs to be simplified to achieve its intended purpose. Terms should be simplified so the trainee can successfully learn and not only worry about passing the exam.
What I like most about the course were the quizzes between chapters which prepared me for the final exam.

I felt like the content was already complicated so just having someone read it, and sometimes reading the words incorrectly, made the material harder to learn. With something like UL, I think it would be easier if there was an actual instructor verses a computer reading.

Too much business planning in a universal life course
I don't hold a series six, This course said Universal Life but it was more set to higher end agents that deal with wealthy people need to give a better discription of the course, before purchase.
This is my first time and providing a list of my state's requirements so I can have a clearer idea of what to choose would be nice.

This course was horrible. I am sure I am not the first to complain about this course. Half of the questions were not even in your course instruction. Where was the No Doc answer? Many others. Very few Key Words, Very few practice questions and I got them all right. None of them were even relevant to your test questions. Terrible!!!!!

I was not sure why the course contained information about Term and Whole life when it was on Universal Life. It was to much information in one course which for me made it more difficult to remember for the exam.
some of the wording had to be read over and over to understand, maybe dumbing it down a little to explain would help. Besides that it was great and brought back a lot I had forgot over the last few years.
Give me the option to speed up the read-to-me feature or shut it off so I can read it myself

I got a 70% on this Universal Life Test. It was BRUTAL. I was not prepared and was blindsided way to many times on this test. I was also very confused by the questions = not FULLY prepared. My other test scores were much higher. So the content provided did NOT prepare for the test. Information overload does not prepare for a test that asks about stuff we were NOT taught. NO?
